The state of Washington has moved to provide sweeping protections for transgender and LGTBQIA+ youth, so much so that they have recently passed a bill that grants authorities to seize possession of a child, if the parents do not agree and affirm their child’s gender change.
“SB 5599” was first passed in the Senate with a vote of 27 yeas, 19 nays, and 3 excused, on March 1st. The bill was introduced by Marko Liias.
Liias describes the goal of the bill on his website:
‘Under current law, if a child who has run away from home goes to a licensed shelter, that shelter is required to notify the parents unless a compelling reason applies. The bill allows certified shelters to contact the Department of Children, Youth and Families (DCYF) in lieu of parents in certain additional instances, such as when a youth is seeking reproductive health services or gender-affirming care,’ he explained.
Liias added, ‘The legislation would ensure that children who may not have supportive families at home do not end up on the street, but instead have shelter when seeking these protected health services.’
This bill is an important step in ensuring young people across the state have a roof over their heads during an already challenging period in their life. While we hope that every child has a supportive family that will provide them with acceptance and the care they need, it’s crucial that we provide housing options to those in crisis. ~Liias said in a statement
The bill was then passed in the state House on April 13th, with a vote of 57 yeas, 39 nays, and 2 excused. The bill returned to the Senate for added amendments and final approval, which then passed on April 19th.
We know that young people experiencing homelessness are exposed to dangerous and harmful outcomes. That is why we must take every step we can to ensure their safety. Brethren, just a few days ago, we saw a headline on only one news site. It clearly stated that the Biden Admin was deeply involved with child trafficking from our border.
Then we read that 85,000 children are missing who came across our border.
And then all we heard were ‘crickets.’

There is absolutely NOTHING that is “stable shelter” for these kids under this law! And I totally agree, there IS a special place in hell for these people!
Better that a millstone be wrapped around your neck than to offend one of these. Sounds like a special place in my opinion.
I can not begin to imagine a parent’s anguish that is going thru with a child who wants to change sex!!! Then to have that child hidden away where the parents can’t have the chance to bring the child to the truth. This is so Satanic at the worst level. We need to pray for parents who are going thru this unbearable, unfathomable anguish.
Jesus Christ is my Savior and my Lord. I also know that all of these sick people need Christ. However, if they came to my house to take my kids, they would die on my front lawn.
