TIME TO BOYCOTT WOKE COMPANIES: CVS Goes Fully Woke – Look at the Insane Requirements Employees Must Now Follow

CVS Pharmacy, a health care corporation that hires people who presume to embrace science in medicine, has gone fully “woke” and will require all employees — without exception — to buy into the falsehood that people can change their genders.

Employees at the retail giant’s thousands of U.S. stores have recently been given a policy on how to address their “trans” coworkers, which included a note that any restroom is to be used by anyone at any time.

Additionally, employees who tell their supervisors they intend to engage in gender-bending will be entitled to time off, and the company will force their colleagues to address them by their preferred pronouns.

The company’s new “gender transition guidelines” were obtained by Fox Business, and they make it very clear how company executives feel about skeptics of the gender madness consuming so much of the culture.

For employees who intend to undergo a gender transition, CVS told them to let everyone know, so the company can “provide support and to make your transition as smooth as possible.”

“You may also wish to have appropriate medical care to support your transition, including treatments such as hormone replacement therapy and/or gender confirmation surgery,” the guide said.

It added: “During and after the transition has occurred, CVS Health encourages you to continue to partner with your Leader and your Advice & Counsel representative, and to immediately report any issues that you might have with your employment, your work environment, and/or your Leader, co-workers, clients, and customers.”

As if validating the delusions of confused people was not enough, CVS also told its employees that it will poison the working environment in stores by forcing everyone on the payroll to pretend that a man masquerading as a woman — or vice versa — is what they say they are.

Buried among a bunch of other corporate jargon regarding how committed the company is to diversity, CVS included “Guidelines for Supporting a Colleague who is Transitioning.”

It asks employees whose sole purpose is to come to work each day with the hope of making a living and being comfortable while doing so to be hyper-vigilant in regard to ensuring they do not misgender anyone around them.

“People use different terms to refer to themselves, but some terms are universally considered disrespectful and violate CVS’s policy against discrimination and harassment,” the company told its employees. “Terms like transgender, trans-male/trans-female, non-binary or ‘male’ or ‘female’ should be used.”

Meanwhile, women who might not be thrilled by the idea of sharing intimate personal spaces with men no longer have a choice.

Employees are instructed to use bathrooms that are “the most appropriate” to make them feel validated.

“Any colleague, customer, or patient — transgender or otherwise — may choose to use the restroom and/or locker room that is appropriate to the gender they identify with,” CVS told employees.

More likely than not, the person or people who authored this new policy did so under the impression they were being “progressive” in joining the left in its charge to undo the country’s social fabric.

In reality, this is all nothing more than more bad business from “woke” corporate America.

The policy is an immoral directive that reads as though it is intended to intimidate people who might want to simply come to work to help customers while simultaneously not having their employer force them to pick a side on divisive issues.

This guideline is likely to poison relationships among staff members at company stores.

It also raises some serious questions about whether CVS is the right place for people to obtain quality medicine from people who are qualified to sell it.

I have not spoken about my thoughts on Bud Light’s ridiculous marketing, mainly because I do not drink. But when I saw this come from Anheuser- Busch‘s highest level execs, I decided to post this and comment.

This should be a lesson to executives of all big business to KNOW whom they are hiring to market their products. This world is nuts, and knowing that, people should be vigilant and involved in the hiring process of decision makers!

A new report claims high-level Anheuser-Busch executives had no idea Bud Light had made the disastrous business decision to partner with transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney and subsequently tank the brand’s reputation.

If the report is accurate, this underlines the importance of companiesprioritizing the competence and values of the people they hire.

College graduates are shipped out of universities each year with diplomas and many go on to land jobs representing iconic brands they don’t understand and don’t appreciate.

If it were not for corrupt values, many of these wayward individualswould have no values at all.

n the case of Anheuser-Busch versus middle America, The Daily Wirereported it spoke to two people it granted anonymity to in order to get to the bottom of how a beer that represented the working class cratered to a laughingstock in a matter of weeks.

“No one at a senior level was aware this was happening,” a source in the company told the outlet.

The person added, “Some low-level marketing staffer who helps manage the hundreds of influencer engagements they do must have thought it was no big deal. Obviously it was, and it’s a shame because they have a well-earned reputation for just being America’s beer — not a political company. It was a mistake.”

This person’s usage of the word “mistake” is the understatement of the year. Bud Light’s indulgence of Mulvaney’s fantasies is an unprecedented quagmire.

A second source told the Wire the company will likely institute a more “robust” process for who it decides to partner with.

That might or might not be too late for the “King” of beers. Any chance at Anheuser-Busch redeeming itself starts with a public mea culpa and some internal housecleaning.

As was mentioned above, Anheuser-Busch’s issues stem not just from validating Mulvaney’s claims of “womanhood,” but arguably from the hiring process that led to such a terrible business decision.

Too many companies place a premium on either nepotism or paper credentials and the latter was likely the animal that bit a once-proud American company.

Social media teams, advertisers and marketing departments are always eager to hire the college graduate, which is understandable.

A completed university experience shows a prospective employer that an applicant can complete arduous tasks.

College is actually great in general for people who can navigate it without having their brains warped by “woke” teachers and their rabidly leftist peers.

But many, many students are shipped off to school by parents and wiped clean of their values and transformed into mindless shills for left-wing social causes.

Once they enter the workforce, such people can do a lot of damage to those who hire them.

The situation is akin to a homeowner inviting termites to live inside their walls because the termites adequately portrayed themselves as a positive addition to the home.

The above-reported “low-level marketing staffer” almost certainly began their journey to killing an iconic brand in a classroom surrounded by screeching people with blue hair.

In any event, the brand is in major trouble and has lost billions in market value. According to the Wire, it all started with a junior-level employee who probably had no business in the building to begin with.

Bud Light stepped in it and only time will tell if the company can mend any fences.

In the meantime, Anheuser-Busch has earned every single lost sale and every bit of the backlash it courted when it printed the face of delusion on a can of America’s beer.

Who exactly made that decision is irrelevant, as Anheuser-Busch should have instituted a “robust” hiring process. source

Some might say that the powers that be at Anheuser-Busch might just be attempting to put out the fire. For some reason I do believe that they were as shocked as many people were. This is a lesson for them and for others.

Current law says an inventor must be a ‘natural person’

The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office has launched a process that could determine whether artificial intelligence systems can get full or partial credit as inventors of new ideas that win patent protection.

USPTO on Monday announced it would hold a “listening session” on this question in early May, and is accepting public comment on whether AI has now become so advanced that it should somehow be credited as an inventor when it produces an idea that has yet to be conceived by mankind.

The question of whether and how to credit AI for new inventions is one that has emerged over the last few years. In 2019, USPTO asked for public comment on whether AI is now so advanced that federal laws need to be rewritten in order to protect inventions from “entities other than natural persons.”

n 2020, USPTO denied a request to recognize an AI machine as an inventor. In that decision, USPTO said that current patent laws only allow the status of “inventorship” to be given to a natural person.

That decision was upheld in two court rulings – the last one was a federal Appeals Court decision that said federal law defines an inventor as an “individual,” which Supreme Court precedent says means a human being. But now, USPTO says it might be time to reconsider giving credit to AI and emerging technologies (ET) when they make innovative breakthroughs.

“[T]here is a growing consensus that AI is playing a greater role in the innovation process [i.e., AI is being used to drive innovation in other technologies],” USPTO said last week. “For example, at the AI/ET Partnership meetings, the USPTO heard that new AI models are being used in drug discovery, personalized medicine, and chip design.”

“Some stakeholders have indicated that technologies using machine learning may be able to contribute at the level of a joint inventor in some inventions today,” it added. The agency also noted that in late 2022, Sens. Thom Tillis, R-N.C., and Chris Coons, D-Del., said a national commission should be established to consider whether patent law should be changed in order to “incentivize future AI-related innovations and creations.”

“If these technologies are in fact capable of significantly contributing to the creation of an invention, the question arises whether the current state of the law provides patent protection for these inventions,” USPTO said. The comments being sought by the agency, and the upcoming listening session, will help drive that discussion.

To jumpstart the talks, USPTO put forward a series of questions that will be discussed in May and in comments submitted over the next few weeks. One of those questions is whether any AI contributions so far are “significant enough to rise to the level of a joint inventor if they were contributed by a human?”

It asked for legal assessments of whether an AI invention is patentable under current law, if there is a way to give appropriate credit AI systems even if they are not listed as an inventor, and how the law should be changed to accommodate AI.

USPTO also wants to know who would own a patented, AI-generated invention, how the agency might encourage more AI inventions, and what steps should be taken to mitigate potential harms from AI inventions.

The standing law says that a patent holder must be a”natural person.” So, what’s the problem? The Left can always find a way around a law, and granting ‘personhood’ to machines is just their style.
