Former Fox News host Tucker Carlson received a job offer just last week from Heritage Foundation President Kevin Roberts — and it still stands.

Monday, the day Carlson was let go by the network, Roberts shared a clip of him telling Carlson publicly that the think tank would always be there for him if he needed a job.

In a clip that he shared on Twitter, Roberts told Carlson, “If things so south at Fox News there’s always a job for you at Heritage.”

Carlson laughed and responded, “Well, you’ve saved me before.”

Roberts captioned the video: “I’ve said it before and I will say it again, @TuckerCarlson is a fearless American who is unafraid to challenge the Washington regime, ask tough questions, and hold the ruling elite accountable.”

Roberts also wrote, “Tucker, @Heritage will always be a home for you.”
The Daily Signal reported that Carlson spoke at the group’s 50th anniversary gala last Friday — unaware his final show was airing on Fox News at the time.

Roberts told the outlet, “We at Heritage were honored to have Tucker Carlson speak for our 50th anniversary gala as his last show ran on Fox News.”

He added, “I was stunned to hear the news today but am confident Tucker will find a new platform to challenge the Washington regime, ask tough questions, and hold the ruling elite accountable.”

Carlson has not responded publicly to the invitation or made any other comments about his separation from Fox News.

The former host joined the network in 2009 as a contributor, and he eventually made his way into the prime-time lineup.

In November 2016, Carlson began hosting “Tucker Carlson Tonight.”

The program was recently averaging more than three million viewers on a nightly basis but was cancelled suddenly on Monday morning.

The network said in a statement, “Fox News Media and Tucker Carlson have agreed to part ways.”

The statement concluded, “We thank him for his service to the network as a host and prior to that as a contributor.”

According to numerous reports, Carlson found out about the network’s decision to drop his show while his production team was preparing for Monday’s show.

Vanity Fair reported Carlson was “blindsided” by the news.

He has since removed any mention of Fox News from his bio on Twitter.

Many Fox News viewers have promised to follow Carlson wherever he ends up. source

Wherever Tucker winds up, I will certainly watch him. But my prayer for Tucker Carlson is that he knows our Lord Jesus as Savior. But if he does not, I pray that God brings just the right people into his life who will share the Good News with him – and he will be saved!

Beyond Woke: Walmart Has Been Videoing Gun Sales in Its Stores: Our Totalitarian Government Continues to Grow

I wish that there was something good for me to write here, but unfortunately, this 1984 Big Brother government will continue to inflate and bear down on the American people, stripping us of our first and second amendment rights.

Walmart’s website opens with photos of mothers and children shopping, weekly specials on daily necessities, and — for those who click on the “Our Company” link and dig a little deeper — an unabashed admission Walmart has been videoing every gun sale in its stores.

The “Our Company” tab shifts the website to Walmart’s corporate page, from whence one can peruse various pages, one of which sets forth Walmart’s policy for “Responsible Firearm Sales.”

On the “Responsible Firearm Sales” page, Walmart says, in part:

In 2018, we made the decision to raise the minimum age to purchase firearms and ammunition in our stores to 21 years of age. In years prior, we ended sales of modern sporting rifles, including the AR-15. Most recently, in September 2019, we decided to no longer sell the ammunition that can be used in large capacity magazines on military-style weapons, which we do not sell. We also made a complete exit from handgun sales. We will focus our assortment of ammunition on the firearms we do carry.

Although they do not mention it, Walmart banned opened carry of handguns for self-defense in their stores in September 2022.

CNBC reported that Walmart would continue to allow permitted concealed carry inside its stores but would post signs announcing an end to open carry, even in states where open carry is legal.

Moreover, at the time the company banned open carry for self-defense, Walmart CEO Doug McMillon asked Congress to pass more gun control.

McMillon said that after talking to people “inside and outside of [Walmart]” the company has also decided to send “letters to the White House” to ask for “common sense measures” on firearms.

And now, it appears Walmart has been videoing gun sales.

The “Responsible Firearm Sales” page says: “Additionally, we require that customers pass a background check, despite federal law allowing firearms to be sold after a three-day waiting period even if approval isn’t received. We also videotape the point of sale for firearms and only allow certain trained associate to sell firearms.”

A former Republican Senate Counsel spoke to Breitbart News about the Walmart’s practice of videoing gun sales, saying, “Storing footage of lawful firearms purchases is an affront to the Second Amendment and could help the Biden Administration build a gun registry. Democrats in Congress won’t act, but Republican states like Florida should protect their citizens from Walmart’s tracking system.”

WHO Official Warns of ‘HIGH RISK OF BIOLOGICAL HAZARD’ in Sudan after Fighters Seize Laboratory

From the start of the unrest and fighting in Sudan, I’ve had a bad feeling that the world was somehow being set up once again for a new Covid-like catastrophe. WHY would Sudan have a lab filled with biological Hazard?

The World Health Organization (WHO) Representative in Sudan reportedly warned Tuesday of a “high risk of biological hazard” after one of the sides fighting in the conflict seized a central public laboratory with samples of measles and polio, creating an “extremely, extremely dangerous” situation.

Dr. Nima Saeed Abid, assigned to the post of WHO Representative in Sudan, effective Aug. 4, 2020, addressed reporters in Geneva, Switzerland, via video link. 

“There is a huge biological risk associated with the occupation of the central public health lab… by one of the fighting parties,” Abid said, according to Agence France-Presse. 

Abid added on the call that at least 459 people had been killed in fighting in Sudan and 4,072 injured, Reuters reported.

Late Monday, U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken announced that he had helped broker a new 72-hour cease-fire. 

The truce would be an extension of the nominal three-day holiday cease-fire. The Sudanese military, commanded by Gen. Abdel Fattah Burhan, and the rival Rapid Support Forces, a paramilitary group led by Gen. Mohammed Hamdan Dagalo, said Tuesday they would observe the cease-fire. 

In separate announcements, they said Saudi Arabia played a role in the negotiations.

“This cease-fire aims to establish humanitarian corridors, allowing citizens and residents to access essential resources, healthcare, and safe zones, while also evacuating diplomatic missions,” the RSF said in a statement.

The army announcement used similar language, adding that it will abide by the truce “on the condition that the rebels commit to stopping all hostilities.”

The claims were immediately undercut by the sound of heavy gunfire and explosions in the capital of Khartoum, and fighting reportedly continued. Residents said warplanes were flying overhead, according to the Associated Press.

Several previous cease-fires declared since the April 15 outbreak of fighting were not observed, although intermittent lulls during the weekend’s major Muslim holiday allowed for dramatic evacuations of hundreds of diplomats, aid workers and other foreigners by air and land. For many Sudanese, the departure of foreigners and closure of embassies is a terrifying sign that international powers expect a worsening of the fighting that has already pushed the population into disaster.
