Do You Long For His Appearing? This Is A Trait Of A TRUE Believer

I was starting an article today, when I felt the Lord speak to my heart that I needed to watch Amir Tsarfati’s latest prophecy update. I have never had anything like this happen to me as I write my articles.

I turned on Amir’s update and listened to it while I baked bread in my kitchen. I began to doubt that I had truly heard from the Lord; but suddenly toward the end of the video, I realized that Amir was speaking the words which God wanted me to hear and then write about.

Do you Long for His appearing?

Look at Paul’s words in 2 Timothy:

For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:  Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing  (2 Timothy 4:6-8).  (emphasis added)

Again I ask “Do you love and long for His appearing?”  Or are you regretting having to leave behind earthly riches and money? Do you think about our Lord Jesus throughout the day?  Is there an excitement within you that His return is imminent?

I am not trying to make anyone feel guilty.  I am attempting to help to expose a person’s heart:

“Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:  But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:  For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also” (Matthew 6:19-21).

This Scripture from Matthew is not telling us to own “nothing.”  It is a “heart check”  wherefore a person must look deep within their own hearts to see if their earthly belongings have an unhealthy hold upon them. These “things” will burn up and are not eternal.  The Gift bestowed upon us by Jesus Christ of Eternal Life in heaven with Him will never perish.  There really is no comparison.

But if you secretly mourn the loss of earthly treasures when you think of His imminent appearing; then you really do need to check your spiritual health.

Remember Paul’s words in 2 Timothy 4, where he speaks of “Them who love His appearing.” Paul would not have emphasized those words if they were not of utmost importance.

Are you a true Christian or are you going through the motions?

If you have never come before the Lord with a repentant heart – agreeing with Him that you are a sinner in need of a Savior; and asked Him to come into your life to make you into the person God desires – then I must tell you that you have not been born again from above.

Going to church, giving to the poor, being a “good deed doer” does not get one right with our Father in heaven. Those are wonderful things to do – but they will not get you into the family of God.  After we are saved, we naturally want to do good things for God out of a grateful heart.

Amir’s Prophecy Update:

If you have read this article and have been convicted in your heart that you are not truly saved, here is what the Word says to do:

How Can I Be Saved?

The time of the Rapture of God’s church is imminent. That means that it could happen at any time.  Only the Father knows the day, the hour, the second that He will tell His Son to go and get us.

BE READY!
