We Are Made in the Image of God: AI Robots Are Made in the Image of Sinful Beings

Every day I read more and more about the advancement of AI Robots.  Scientists believe that they are very close to programming the “bots” so they are sentient.

Of course, the goal has always been to create “Sophia” type AI robots which are hardly distinguishable from human beings.

China is using an AI bot as a news anchor:

The Creation of Man and Woman

 “Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth” (Genesis 1:26).

“And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul”  (Genesis 2: 7).

But Adam and Eve rebelled against their Creator.  God told Adam that he could eat from any tree in the Garden except the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

Even was deceived by Satan and she ate.  Adam sinned willfully and ate of that tree when Eve offered it.  Then suddenly Adam and Eve were aware of their nakedness.

The Garden had been paradise. Adam and Eve walked with God in that garden.

Now, cast out of the Garden, God’s creation of the man and woman entered a world of sin which had begun with them.

If God Created Adam and Eve, why did sin enter them?

Question: “If God knew that Adam and Eve would sin, why did He create them?”

Answer: The Bible says that God created all things—including us—for Himself. He is glorified in His creation. “From him and through him and for him are all things. To him be the glory forever! Amen” (Romans 11:36).

It may be hard to see how Adam and Eve’s falling into sin could bring glory to God. In fact, some might even wonder why, if God knew ahead of time all the trouble they would cause, He made them in the first place.

God is omniscient (Psalm 139:1–6), and He knows the future (Isaiah 46:10). So He definitely knew that Adam and Eve would sin. But He created them anyway and gave them a free will with which they chose to sin.

We must carefully note that Adam and Eve’s falling into sin does not mean that God is the author of sin or that He tempted them to sin (James 1:13). But the fall does serve the purpose of God’s overall plan for creation and mankind.

If we consider what some theologians call the “meta-narrative” (or overarching storyline) of Scripture, we see that biblical history can be roughly divided into three main sections: 1) paradise (Genesis 1—2); 2) paradise lost (Genesis 3—Revelation 20); and 3) paradise regained (Revelation 21—22). By far the largest part of the narrative is devoted to the transition from paradise lost to paradise regained. At the center of this meta-narrative is the cross, which was planned from the very beginning (Acts 2:23).

Reading Scripture carefully, we are led to the following conclusions:

1. The fall of mankind was foreknown by God.

2. The crucifixion of Christ, the atonement for God’s elect, was foreordained by God.

3. All people will one day glorify God (Psalm 86:9), and God purposes “to bring unity to all things in heaven and on earth under Christ” (Ephesians 1:10).

God’s purpose was to create a world in which His glory could be manifest in all its fullness. The glory of God is the overarching goal of creation. In fact, it is the overarching goal of everything He does. The universe was created to display God’s glory (Psalm 19:1), and the wrath of God is revealed against those who fail to glorify God (Romans 1:18–25). The world that best displays the glory of God is the world we have—a world that was allowed to fall, a world that was redeemed, a world that will be restored to its original perfection.

God’s wrath and God’s mercy display the riches of His glory, but we cannot see either without the fall of mankind. We would never know grace if we had never needed grace. Therefore, all of God’s plan—including the fall, election, redemption, and atonement of mankind—serves the purpose of glorifying God. When man fell into sin, God’s mercy was immediately displayed in God’s not killing him on the spot. God’s grace was immediately evident in the covering He provided for their shame (Genesis 3:21). God’s patience and forbearance were later on display as mankind fell deeper and deeper into sin. God’s justice and wrath were on display when He sent the flood, and God’s mercy and grace were again demonstrated when He saved Noah and his family. God’s holy wrath and perfect justice will be seen in the future when He deals with Satan once and for all (Revelation 20:7–10).

God’s glory is also revealed in His love (1 John 4:16). Our knowledge of God’s love comes from the Person and saving work of Jesus Christ in this fallen world. “This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him” (1 John 4:9). Had God decided not to create Adam and Eve, based on His knowledge of their fall—or had He made them automatons with no volition—we would never have truly known what love is.

The ultimate exhibition of God’s glory was at the cross where His wrath, justice, and mercy met. The righteous judgment of all sin was executed at the cross, and God’s grace was on display in His Son’s words, “Father, forgive them” (Luke 23:34). God’s love and grace are manifest in those whom He has saved (John 3:16; Ephesians 2:8–10). In the end, God will be glorified as His chosen people worship Him for all eternity with the angels, and the wicked will also glorify God as His righteousness results in the eternal punishment of unrepentant sinners (Philippians 2:11). Without the fall of Adam and Eve, we would never know God’s justice, grace, mercy, or love.

Some raise the objection that God’s foreknowledge and foreordination of the fall damages man’s freedom. In other words, if God created mankind with full knowledge of the impending fall into sin, how can man be responsible for his sin? The best answer to that question can be found in the Westminster Confession of Faith:

“God, from all eternity, did, by the most wise and holy counsel of his own will, freely, and unchangeably ordain whatsoever comes to pass; yet so, as thereby neither is God the author of sin, nor is violence offered to the will of the creatures; nor is the liberty or contingency of second causes taken away, but rather established” (WFC, III.1)

In other words, God ordains future events in such a way that our freedom and the working of secondary causes (e.g., laws of nature) are preserved. Theologians call this “concurrence.” God’s sovereign will flows concurrently with our free choices in such a way that our free choices always result in the carrying out of God’s will (by “free” we mean that our choices are not coerced by outside influences). It’s a complex interaction of wills and choices, but the Creator God can handle any amount of complexity.

God foresaw Adam and Eve’s fall. He created them anyway, in His own image, to bring glory to Himself. They were given freedom to make choices. Even though they chose to disobey, their choice became the means by which God’s ultimate will was carried out and by which His full glory will be seen. – source

Brethren, God foreknew the fall of Adam and Eve. God is all-knowing (omniscient) and He knows the history of mankind from the very beginning to the end. As it says in the gotquestions article, God foreknew:

  • The Fall
  • The Crucifixtion
  • The Day when all the world would glorify Him

The Creations of AI Robots

The scientists who are feverishly working on their AI creations can NOT see the future.  This in and of itself is very problematic.

I would assume that almost all (maybe all) of the robot building scientists are not believers. They are unregenerate sinners.  Their god is science, and they believe that we who worship God and trust Him in our lives are weak and gullible.

As they program their robots, they are uploading massive amounts of data into the “brains” of these machines. But let’s not forget that these same programmers are unrepentant sinners.  How can they not impart their biases and even their hatred of certain groups of people who do not share in their beliefs?

The scientists are working on the emotional side of data in order to make the AI bots more “human-like.”  As the saying goes “Garbage  in –  Garbage out. If a globalist is programming a bot, do you not think that the opinions placed in the AI machines will mirror those of their ‘creators’?

When God created Adam and Eve, it was the beginning of a story of which the Lord knew every detail.  It was His plan of the redemption of sinful men and women, and how many would be redeemed through the death, burial and resurrection of His Son, our Lord Jesus Christ.

Rebellion against God comes in many forms

Along with AI robots, there are other obvious forms of rebellion in our world today:

  • CERN   (man wanting to recreate “Creation” which they call the Big Bang
  • NASA   (now has caused holes in our Sun in their unquenchable desire to      understand outer space
  • GLOBALISM   (setting the stage for Antichrist)
  • TRANSGENDERISM  AND LGBTQ AGENDAS  (telling God that He makes mistakes when He creates people
  • HATRED FOR ISRAEL   (this hatred comes directly from Satan)

We could add many other endeavors of mankind to the above list.

Brethren, I am simply attempting to show the reader the dangers of AI and where these scientists are trying to take our world.  Even atheist Stephen Hawking (who died recently) warned about the frightening consequences of robots ultimately becoming a menace in our society.

We should be praying and watching.

New Christmas Play Combines Biblical Story of Christmas With Quran’s Version of Birth of Jesus

WHY do people insist on appeasing Muslims in such absurd ways?  Do they think that this might keep them safe from terrorism?  I have news for them. They are still infidels and will never be safe from Islamist terrorism unless they convert to Islam!

I’ve written quite a few articles about Islam.  I want to post what I consider my most important piece on the difference between our Jesus from the Bible and “Isa” from the Qur’an. This article was written three years ago:

Months ago, I had conversations with a pastor from a large Baptist church in Richmond, VA. He believes that Allah and our God are one and the same. He told me that Muslims see God through the lens of Muhammad, and that Christians see Him through the lens of Jesus Christ. This is heresy!

I am writing this piece so that you can be equipped to speak truth to those who are deceived. If a head pastor of a church of over 1000 people believes this lie, then surely there are many others. I am so grieved over this — mostly for the people in the congregations of these wolves.

Because this pastor is not adhering to the Word of God, he is vulnerable to being deceived in most every area of Biblical teaching. He is close friends with Brian McLaren — the father of the Emerging Church movement. The Richmond pastor has meditation and centering and other New Age practices on his website. He also states that God may or may not be a female!

“For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way. And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming. The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness. But we are bound to give thanks to God always for you, brethren beloved by the Lord, because God from the beginning chose you for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth, to which He called you by our gospel, for the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Therefore, brethren, stand fast and hold the traditions which you were taught, whether by word or our epistle. Now may our Lord Jesus Christ Himself, and our God and Father, who has loved us and given us everlasting consolation and good hope by grace, comfort your hearts and establish you in every good word and work” (2 Thessalonians 2:7-17).

I will be taking passages from the Qur’an about Jesus – whom they call “Isa” and then I will post Scripture which will expose the passages from the Qur’an as counterfeit. Should it surprise us that Satan would establish this religion? Satan always takes a little bit of truth, and then perverts it with his lies. He has been doing this since being cast from heaven by God.

Let’s begin at the beginning:

From the Qur’an about Abraham

“When his Lord tested Abraham with certain commands and he fulfilled them, He said, “I will make you a leader of men.” Abraham asked, “And what of my descendants?” He answered, “My covenant does not extend to the transgressors.” (124) And We made the House [the Ka’bah] a place of assembly and a sanctuary for mankind, [saying], “Make the place where Abraham stood a place of worship.” We commanded Abraham and Ishmael,”Purify My House for those who walk round it, those who stay there for devotion, and those who bow down and prostrate themselves.”

Announcement to Mary from Qur’an:

Announcement to Mary in the Bible:

“Now in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent by God to a city of Galilee named Nazareth, to a virgin betrothed to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David. The virgin’s name was Mary. And having come in, the angel said to her, “Rejoice, highly favored one, the Lord is with you; blessed are you among women!” (Luke 1:26-28)

“He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Highest; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David. 33 And He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of His kingdom there will be no end.” (Luke 1:32-33)

Jesus is a messenger (Prophet) in Qur’an:

“He said: “I am indeed a servant of Allah: He hath given me revelation and made me a prophet.”(19:30, Yusif Ali)

“O People of the Book! Commit no excesses in your religion: Nor say of Allah aught but the truth. Christ Jesus the son of Mary was (no more than) a messenger of Allah, and His Word, which He bestowed on Mary, and a spirit proceeding from Him: so believe in Allah and His messengers. Say not “Trinity” : desist: it will be better for you: for Allah is one Allah: Glory be to Him: (far exalted is He) above having a son. To Him belong all things in the heavens and on earth. And enough is Allah as a Disposer of affairs. (4:171, Yusif Ali)

Christ the son of Mary was no more than a messenger; many were the messengers that passed away before him. His mother was a woman of truth. They had both to eat their (daily) food. See how Allah doth make His signs clear to them; yet see in what ways they are deluded away from the truth!” (5:575, Yusif Ali)

Jesus is God in the Bible

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.”

“And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.” (John 1:14)

The Crucifixion denied in the Qur’an:

“That they said (in boast), “We killed Christ Jesus the son of Mary, the Messenger of Allah”;- but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but so it was made to appear to them, and those who differ therein are full of doubts, with no (certain) knowledge, but only conjecture to follow, for of a surety they killed him not.” (4:157,Yusif Ali)

The Crucifixion told in the Bible:

“And He, bearing His cross, went out to a place called the Place of a Skull, which is called in Hebrew, Golgotha, 18 where they crucified Him, and two others with Him, one on either side, and Jesus in the center. 19 Now Pilate wrote a title and put it on the cross. And the writing was: JESUS OF NAZARETH, THE KING OF THE JEWS.

Then many of the Jews read this title, for the place where Jesus was crucified was near the city; and it was written in Hebrew, Greek, and Latin.” (John 19:17-20)

“After this, Jesus, knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the Scripture might be fulfilled, said, “I thirst!” Now a vessel full of sour wine was sitting there; and they filled a sponge with sour wine, put it on hyssop, and put it to His mouth. So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished!” And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit.” (John 19:28-30)

You are cursed if you say Jesus is God’s Son in Qur’an:

The Jews call ‘Uzair a son of Allah, and the Christians call Christ the son of Allah. That is a saying from their mouth; (in this) they but imitate what the unbelievers of old used to say. Allah’s curse be on them: how they are deluded away from the Truth! (9:30, Yusif Ali)

“Such (was) Jesus the son of Mary: (it is) a statement of truth, about which they (vainly) dispute. 35 It is not befitting to (the majesty of) Allah that He should beget a son.Glory be to Him! when He determines a matter, He only says to it, “Be”, and it is.” (19:34-35, Yusif Ali)

Jesus – Son of God in the Bible:

“Most assuredly, I say to you, the hour is coming, and now is, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God; and those who hear will live.” (John 5:25)

“Do you say of Him whom the Father sanctified and sent into the world, ‘You are blaspheming,’ because I said, ‘I am the Son of God’?” (John 10:36)

“When Jesus heard that, He said, “This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God may be glorified through it.” (John 11:4)

“But He kept silent and answered nothing. Again the high priest asked Him, saying to Him, “Are You the Christ, the Son of the Blessed?” Jesus said, “I am. And you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Power, and coming with the clouds of heaven.” (Mark 14:61-62)

The deity of Jesus Christ, and His Crucifixion are foundational to the Christian!

Today I read that a new play is being performed in Chicago which mixes the true story of Christmas with Islam.  This is supposedly to make the Muslims feel better about us.  REALLY?

Church Hosts Christmas Play That Mixes Islam, Christianity as ‘Love Letter’ to Muslims

The Chicago theater company Silk Road Rising has debuted a brand new play called “Christmas Mubarak,” a story that blends the stories of Jesus from both Christianity and Islam.

Corey Pond, a member of Silk Road Rising who directed and adapted the holiday play, described the new show, which premiered last weekend, as “a love letter to the Muslims we know and who come.” The goal, he told Religion News Service, is to make them “feel like they’re incorporated in the Christmas holiday.”

The play weaves in different aspects of the two religious traditions.

It chronicles the angel Gabriel telling Mary she would miraculously conceive a child, similar to the story found in the Gospel of Luke. In Islam, Jesus’ virgin birth came as the result of a prophecy given to her father. She later hides during her pregnancy and reveals it to Joseph, who is her cousin, not her fiance.

“It’s different enough that it feels like a wonderful way for both Muslims and Christians to refresh their understanding of the story and to find something new in the story in this moment that we live in,” Silk Road Rising executive director Malik Gillani said.

Muslims, it should be noted, do not believe Jesus was crucified or resurrected. They regard Jesus not as the savior, but as just a prophet.

The play itself was inspired by Gillani, a Shiite Muslim, and Jamil Khoury, a Syrian Orthodox Christian and the founder of Silk Road Rising, which was established after the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11, 2001.

“Jesus being the central figure in Christianity and Jesus being an important figure in Islam — and also Mary being an important figure in Islam — it just seemed to me that this would be a very useful conversation starter and also a way to illuminate for Christian audiences many of the similarities,” Khoury said.

Christian blogger Julie Roys described the entire undertaking — which is playing at the First United Methodist Church at the Chicago Temple — as “insidious” and “nothing short of blasphemy.”

“It perverts the story of Jesus’ birth; it doesn’t refresh it. No prophet could save people from their sins. Only the incarnate Son of God could do that,” she wrote. “That any Christian church would participate in this play is disgraceful.” source

And this Christian blogger agrees with Julie Roys 100%.  The loving thing for Christians to do is to share TRUTH from the Word of God so that Muslims can be saved!

“Black Lives Matter IN and OUT of the Womb” NOT Received Well At Wheaton ‘Christian’ College

What in the world is happening to so-called Evangelical Christian colleges in America?

I used to feel so bad that we sent our children to secular colleges for their education. Clearly, there seems to be little difference at times between the well-known Christian colleges and the secular Universities.

I am not saying that there are not solid Christian professors at the Christian colleges. It’s just that stories like the one of which I am writing are very telling. Satan has blatantly entered our churches and now our Christian schools and colleges.

There are so many factors which facilitate the breakdown of basic Biblical doctrines and beliefs.  I believe that apostate “churches” such as the Social Justice False gospel have much to do with students being molded by false teaching before they ever get to college.

Critical thinking is becoming obsolete in these last days

I remember in high school that the debate team would select their top debaters to present even controversial subjects.  The audience was challenged to listen to both sides of the debate, and then to form their own conclusion.

This is part of our freedom of speech in our country.  Try doing that in Communist China.  Even the idea of this would be shot down by the totalitarian government; it just would not happen.

When you read the embedded article, keep in mind that this transpired at Wheaton College – a well known Evangelical Christian school.  Parents used to feel safe in sending their children to Wheaton.

Many of these kids were most likely home schooled or attended Christian schools in their earlier years.

For Christ and His Kingdom. That’s the motto featured prominently throughout Wheaton College.

But what happens when it’s not about Christ or His Kingdom?

I found that out recently after being invited by Wheaton College Republicans to speak on something I’m deeply familiar with—abortion and race. As someone conceived in rape yet adopted and loved into a multiracial family of 15, I have a rather unique take on this. I love actual diversity. As a biracial individual, it’s literally in my blood.

I presented a multimedia talk entitled:  (see video) which provided a perspective that is rarely heard. I wanted to compel students to critically think.

Instead, some wanted to silence the message and smear the messenger.

The Student Government Association (SGA), reportedly with the help of two staff members (Peter Hansen and Crystal Cartwright) of the Office of Student Activities, sent out a dishonest, campus-wide email denouncing me and the hope-filled, fact-based, Biblically-sound presentation. Signed by student leaders Lauren Rowley (Student Body President), Tyler Waaler (Student Body Vice President) and Sammie Shields (EVP of Community Diversity), the letter claimed that my comments “made many students, staff and faculty of color feel unheard, underrepresented and unsafe on our campus.”

Unsafe????   PLEASE…….

Of course, they don’t identify me as a “person of color” (isn’t everyone a color?). In my emailed response to SGA and administration leaders, I reminded them that my presentation was about those who are always unheard, always underrepresented and actually unsafe—the unborn.

So if this speaker is not identified as a person of “color”  then we must assume that Barack Obama was NOT our first Black president, right??

But let this sink in. Sharing a different perspective (aka speaking truth) made “many” feel “unsafe”. Wheaton, are you teaching students to fear or to think?

Only one of those five people involved in this letter of denouncement even attended the event (Sammie Shields). The presentation was 50 minutes, followed by nearly an hour of Q&A and discussion. How was anyone “unheard” or “underrepresented”?

This has become the rule in America – Forget the greater percentage of people who are satisfied with a speech or presentation, and ONLY listen to the tiny minority who are screaming that they feel “Unsafe.”  ughhh

I asked Philip Ziesemer, the Founder of the Wheaton College Republicans, his reaction to SGA’s attack.
“I’m disappointed by the school’s response because I do not believe Wheaton College wants to restrict students from taking part in open dialogue…I believe free speech is threatened when someone with a different point of view is accused—in print—of making students feel ‘unsafe’ and ‘underrepresented.’ I wish the school would have responded by encouraging students to think critically, discuss the message from both sides, and challenge themselves on the content presented.”
Sadly, it was clear that even on an evangelical Christian campus, truth is anathema to those who deify “diversity.” In a presentation on what Jesse Jackson once called “black genocide”, those who prefer activism over factivism chose to demonize and distort. The talk focused on the hypocrisy of the #BlackLivesMatter movement’s leadership and its announced solidarity with the leading killer in the black community—Planned Parenthood—where 247 black lives are killed by the abortion giant every single day. I pointed out several disturbing policy platform positions (see www.M4BL.net) that are, inarguably, hostile to Christianity such as the negation of fathers, the promotion of radical LGBTQ ideology, and lack of any call for racial reconciliation.

I refuse to bow to groupthink. And that never goes over well with those who think “diversity” means ideological conformity.

When you can’t prove the content wrong, the tactic is to make things up. I can’t rebut every lie I’ve heard and seen posted on social media since my November 14th presentation. Some have claimed that I said “no one cares what the KKK believes” to “racism doesn’t exist anymore” to “women should think twice about reporting sexual assault.” Of course, I never said any of those things. One of the student leaders (Sammie Shields) made the bizarre claim, in order to bolster his false narrative about what I said about the KKK, that “there was a lynching in Mississippi last week”. Really? Wouldn’t there be at least one news article on that? But it doesn’t matter. “Diversity”!

Unbelievable.

Victimhood is potent.

The story has now become the “hurt” and “grieving” students. It’s not about the slaughter of 2,500 innocent human lives every day in this country through the violence of abortion. This is the dangerous consequence of placing the emotional above the Eternal.

And all the while, the Wheaton administration has chosen to be publicly silent which enables more of the #fakenews to emerge.

The Wheaton Record tried to justify SGA’s irresponsible letter of condemnation. The school paper simply cast me as “controversial”. Being prolife is controversial. Being a Christian is controversial. They referenced my speech at Harvard as an example similar to Wheaton—an event where pro-abortion activists melted down throughout the event because they hate a pro-life worldview. That was nothing like Wheaton. Then they cited my speech at Vicksburg High School where the administration published defamatory statements on Facebook and in a school-wide email to students and parents saying I didn’t deliver the presentation that was approved. The Wheaton Record doesn’t tell you that less than two weeks later the school issued a formal apology for lying about all of it. They praised me for being a “dynamic motivating speaker who touched the hearts of many in the audience.”

Now isn’t that interesting that the formal letter of apology was done discreetly, as if to attempt to make things right but secretly.  Very telling.

Do you see a pattern here at Wheaton? Some want “diversity” and faux “unity” so much they’re willing to sacrifice the truth, no matter who it actually hurts.

Vice President of Student Development, Paul Chelsen, and Provost Margaret Diddams only responded to our communications fifteen days after the presentation. That was only because our third email indicated we’d publish an article about it all. They, then, agreed to discuss this whole matter. When we requested that one of our Board members be able to join the off-the-record conversation, they refused to talk at all.

The school administration chose not to pursue a Matthew 18 model of conflict resolution and alloweda fellow evangelical Christian to be slandered and treated like the enemy. They could’ve made this a powerful learning opportunity for the entire school.

They chose to bow to the Deity of “Diversity” instead.

Brethren, we will be seeing more and more of these events.  Political correctness reigns even on Christian College Campuses!

Satanic ‘SNAKETIVITY’ Placed Beside Christmas Nativity in Illinois State House

I must begin this article with Jan Markell’s “I never thought I’d see the day…….”

Satan no longer needs to be subtle.  It used to be that people who were Satanists would practice their evil in the night – in the dark.  But those days are over, brethren.

These followers of the enemy of our souls feel emboldened. Satan and his deceived ones are now “In your face” with their hatred of all things Christian.

They mock and degrade Christmas.  They look forward to this holiday because it enables them to bring out all things which are Devilish and Evil.

I am sure that the ACLU spends a good deal of their time defending the rights of Satanists.  Actually, the only group which the ACLU will NOT defend are Christians.

Satanic Sculpture Installed At Illinois Statehouse, Just In Time For The Holidays

In the Illinois Capitol rotunda this month, several traditions are being celebrated. There’s a Nativity scene for Christmas, a menorah for Hanukkah, and then something a little different: an arm holding an apple, with a snake coiled around it.

It’s a gift from the Chicago branch of The Satanic Temple. Called “Snaketivity,” the work also has a sign that reads “Knowledge Is The Greatest Gift.”

Nearby stands a sign in which the state offers a civics lesson — and explains it didn’t have much of a choice:

“The State of Illinois is required by the First Amendment of the United States Constitution to allow temporary, public displays in the state capitol so long as these displays are not paid for by taxpayer dollars. Because the first floor of the Capitol Rotunda is a public place, state officials cannot legally censor the content of speech or displays. The United States Supreme Court has held that public officials may legally impose reasonable time, place and manner restrictions regarding displays and speeches, but no regulation can be based on the content of the speech.”

Illinois Secretary of State spokesman Dave Druker told The State Journal-Record the temple has the same rights as religious organizations. “This recognizes that.”

The Satanic Temple calls itself a “non-theistic organization” in its application to install the display.

In a GoFundMe campaign to raise $1,500 for the display, the group explains its mission: “The Satanic Temple—Chicago will no longer allow one religious perspective to dominate the discourse in the Illinois State Capitol rotunda during the holiday season. … Please consider what you may do to help us bring Satan to Springfield!”

The group has installed similar displays in other states in recent years. A more snake-prominent version of the display has been a part of the holiday scene on the lawn of the Michigan Capitol. Outside the Arkansas State Capitol in August, the temple presented a statue of a goat-headed creature named Baphomet, flanked by two children looking up at him, to protest a display of the Ten Commandments.

Despite its name, many of the Satanic Temple’s activities demonstrate a particular concern for fighting — or at least revealing — the influence of religion in public life. And satanic sculptures have so far been an effective legal strategy for making its case.

On its website, the Satanic Temple explains that its mission “is to encourage benevolence and empathy among all people, reject tyrannical authority, advocate practical common sense and justice, and be directed by the human conscience to undertake noble pursuits guided by the individual will.”

The temple has also taken steps to protect its trademarks, especially against depictions that present its symbols as actually nefarious. Last month, the temple settled a lawsuit with Warner Bros. and Netflix, after a reboot of the teen witch show Sabrina used a copy of the goat-headed statue in an episode. The temple argued the statue “not only infringed on its copyright, but damaged its reputation by portraying the statue as evil,” The New York Times reported.

The Journal-Register notes other symbols that have been placed in the Illinois Capitol rotunda. Currently on display is a statement from the Freedom From Religion Foundation marking the winter solstice and asserting that “Religion is but myth and superstition that hardens hearts and enslaves minds.”

In 2008, a Springfield man got permission to install a Festivus pole at the statehouse, inspired by the holiday celebrated by the Costanzas on Seinfeld. A sign explained that the traditional airing of grievances would start early that year. – source

The bright spot of this otherwise disgusting story is that we must be very close to being gathered up by our Lord Jesus, and taken away from this despicable place!
