It seems that the apostasy within the Church has led up to a gathering of deceived individuals, scheduled to meet on Saturday, July 16th, on the Mall in Washington, D.C. They are calling the themselves ‘Together 2016.’
Many churches have been “returning to Rome.” I have written quite a few articles on this. I am convinced that the people involved in this movement do not have the Holy Spirit living within them. I come to this conclusion mainly from reading this passage of Scripture:
“For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect” (Matthew 24:24) (Emphasis mine)
Do you see that, brethren? IF IT WERE POSSIBLE. This Scripture shows us that the Elect – those who truly belong to Christ, cannot be deceived!

Interesting. Is it just me? Or does anyone else think their could be a connection here? This will come the day after the well publicized “Day of Rage” protests the Left is planning for July 15th in dozens of American cities. It’s almost like the devil is setting this up. One day of ‘rage’ followed by talks of peace. We have two counter movements here. I guess we’ll have to watch and see.

Oh the compromise…
This passage in Matthew 24 seems to indicate that something or someone prevents this self-deception and “that it or something” cannot be shown, but must be “emphatically known” before the deception occurs. I perceive that “something or someone” are GOD’s Holy Scriptures and HIS HOLY SPIRIT at work within the truly BornAgain believer. Otherwise, on their own, “these believers” along with all the lost people would be self deceived. GOD is the only one that prevents self-deception not the “human intellect” nor their dogmatic beliefs. GOD will get all the credit; HIS GLORY!!
With the potential for Britain’s leaving the EU to be followed by some other countries which were the least Roman in the old Roman Empire 2,000 years ago, resulting in a shift to an EU which is closer to the old geography, this kind of spiritual drift back to “Mother Church” leads to a more probable setting of the stage for an end-time scenario.

Some of the names of evangelicals sharing the stage with the pope is sad. Ravi Zaharias, Josh McDowell, & Luis Palau is just three out of many. Hardly a month go by that the list of Christians going apostate grows.
Josh McDowell? Wow! I never would have thought! Sad indeed.
I am praying that most of the pastors and singers who we have trusted and loved through the years were oblivious to satan’s influence in this gathering. But even if they did not know, they should have had the discernment to check out groups like this and vet them thoroughly. The times are SO evil.
