Thoughts from ‘D’ on “Israel’s War for her Existence”

From Geri – I have asked a very gifted writer among the followers of Absolute Truth, if she would allow me to post some of her comments. She agreed and the only stipulation was that I did not put her name.  So that is why the readers will henceforth know her as “D.”

“I think there’s a huge lack of knowledge of scripture at the pastoral level. “ My people are destroyed by a lack of knowledge.” How can trained theologians miss what the apostle to the Gentiles- Paul, wrote concerning his own people, the Jews?

Talk about being blinded! At least the Jews were/ are blinded for a purpose. How can you read Romans and miss this? Yet here’s these huge bodies of
religion following false teachings. This would include Luther & Calvin, plus the Vatican, a works oriented belief system if there ever was one. What a shame that Luther did such great things, but stumbled badly at the end by great misjudgment about the Jews.

It’s as if they have deleted parts of scripture they don’t agree with. If I recall correctly, there’s a curse for adding or deleting- in Revelation.
As to Jews as an ethnic group, are there not good & bad amongst all groups of people?

There’s Epstein & Einstein. The English have Jack the Ripper and Winston Churchill. The French have Robespierre and The Huguenots. Hitler & Bonhoeffer were both Germans. Ted Bundy & George Washington were Americans. I don’t think you can categorize a whole group, so why pick on the Jews? I don’t get it.

When you make a list of who has contributed most to humankind, Jews are over represented! The fact that a little place the size of New Jersey has staved off all of Arabia, Russia, and their “ fair weather friends in the West for 75 years is a miracle within itself, and proof that they have Divine Protection in our present day.

Last, but certainly not least,  Jesus was a Jew.

I rest my case.”

D is right. My own Anglican pastor has bought into relacement theology and says the Jews are no different from any other people. No matter how many pertinent scriptures we give him , he wil not have special prayer for Israel. It is very frustrating to many of us who pray regularly alone and together for the Jews and Israel. We think he must read the Bible very selectively.

On Monday, March 25th, the US contributed to the UN Security Council voting 14-0 to stop Israel from defeating HAMAS. The next day a giant container ship knocked down the Francis Scott Key Bridge at the entrance to Baltimore Harbor.
