  1. Everything on the Resurrection Tomb album was wonderful.
I’m mindful of the fact that fighting is going on not too far from it.

  2. While I’ve been recooperating from my fall& whatever they’re calling a cold these days, I did a bit of genealogy. Found out that on father’s side, my grandmother’s family name is included among Ashchenazi (sp.?)Jews from Germany, who migrated to Indiana, specifically to the area where my father was born. I always wondered why we called grandmother “ Bubba”. When we moved south, many were saying “Nana”. I found out Bubba was used by Jewish people! So I probably have a remote bloodline there. I’ve always had fondness & respect for them, without knowing why.
This same area in Indiana was
“colonized” by French Catholics , as was St. Louis, Mo. My grandmother was Catholic. I don’t know at what point that happened. Father the same. I broke with it in my twenties. So much that was contrary to scripture.

    1. Very interesting! Yes, Nana and Bubba (Bubbe) are Yiddish. My grandparents on both sides came from Ukraine (Kiev) and Russia around 1903 through Ellis Island, NY. Father’s family went to Boston – mother’s to Philadelphia. My parents met at the Jewish Community Center in D.C. during the war. We are Ashkenazi Jews.

  3. Although much is said about Hitler& Germany, ( rightfully so), yet many more Jews, and other groups were persecuted &killed by Stalin. He killed upwards of 45 million, many from Ukraine.
The prize for overall killing statistics, however, goes to Chairman Mao.
Without God on our side, neither Israel, nor USA can stand against these fiends. He has unequivocally stated He will come to the defense of Israel. Since it appears at present, that we are just a fair weather friend, and that none will stand with Israel, I’m waiting for an airlift.

    1. Everything happening is in line with what Scripture tells us. If unbelievers could only see this, you would think that many of them would believe! But the Word tells us differently……

“And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores,

And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man’s table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.

      And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham’s bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;

And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.

And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.

But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.

And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.

Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father’s house:

For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.

Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.

And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.

And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead” (Luke 6: 20-31).
