Brethren,

I wrote to Dale about a week ago to ask where he was. I told him that we all miss him. He wrote back that he was sick. I realized that I had not heard from him, so today I wrote again.

He said that he was so terribly ill. He felt something pop in his gut and then could not keep anything down – not liquid – not anything. He has lost 20 lbs. His urine is very dark and he’s in terrible pain.

I said “Go to the hospital!!” Then I called his wife’s cell phone and spoke to her. Her name is Sue. She said that he is in the hospital. He has a bowel obstruction. The doctors are trying to figure out if they should do surgery or use medicines to clear the obstruction.

Dale is a diabetic and he is 80 years old.

PLEASE pass this on and pray for our beloved brother in Christ!

Sue told me that she will keep me updated on his condition.

She was so happy to know that we are praying for him! Sue needs our prayers too. She is caring for her elderly father who has fallen twice and got brain bleeds. She also has two brothers who are mentally challenged and she cares for them too.

She has MUCH on her plate!
