I Need Prayer

These are trying times for all of us. But now I am going through physical problems, and I feel that the Lord wants me to ask for prayer.

First I have a condition called Hyperparathyroidism. I may have to have surgery for this. This has caused severe osteoporosis and bone pain.

Secondly I have hives and angioedema. The hives are just irritating, but the angioedema is life threatening. It causes deep tissue swelling in my face. I am supposed to go to the ER when this happens but I hate hospitals so I have been riding it out at home.

Lastly, I had right arm rotator cuff surgery 10 years ago. That arm is still fine. But now I have the same pain in my left shoulder. I see my orthopedic doc on the 20th. I doubt that he will suggest another rotator cuff surgery because of my osteoporosis, but I hope that he can do something – the pain is wicked and I’m not getting enough sleep.

Thank you to those who will pray for me. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate it.

        You might look into going to an Osteo Strong for your bones, and or getting a Move power plate, and going carnivore or Keto…I have revered Osteopenia this way. The power plate will help with the pain…praying.

  3. Will be praying. A couple of things. I had a problem with my parathyroid so they had to remove one (there are four). I’m fine because of that operation.

    Regarding your hives, etc., is it possible they are connected to some sort of food allergy? If you can find a doctor who will do allergy testing using blood testing, rather than skin scratches, it might be more precise.

    Regarding your shoulder, I’ve also had rotator cuff surgery on both shoulders. In spite of that, my left shoulder also experiences new pain that radiates into my neck at times. An MRI showed that I had a new slight tear in my left shoulder where the ligaments attach to the rotator. He said it isn’t damaged enough to warrant surgery.

    I also have a bone spur on my left heel. Every few months I go to see my orthopedic surgeon and he gives me a steroid shot that helps tremendously. I avoid the methyl-prednisone shots and he gives me a combination of decadron and a pain reliever. Sometimes, the pain is gone for seven months or more. I’ve told him I want to do everything I can to avoid surgery and he agrees.

    I agree with you about hospitals. My wife and I will avoid them if we can. They seem more interested in running tests and racking up the bill for insurance than in doing what is actually best for the patient.

    1. Fred, thank you for telling me that your parathyroid surgery was successful – that encouraged me immensely! My hives come primarily from terrible autoimmune issues – so says the allergist/immunoligist.

      Praying for you Geri. Is it possible you have a “frozen shoulder”? Acupuncture brought my “dead” arm back to life. A magnesium deficiency contributed to it. I used to take no supplements, but have found high levels of D3, K2, Mag and others have worked wonders! Praying the Lord gives you an “aha” moment for what ails you, and heals you without surgery….or even doctors…I try and avoid them, too.

      1. Janine, after they do imaging of the arm, I’ll know if it is frozen or torn rotator cuff. I remember the absolute Hideous pain while recovering from that surgery 10 years ago. I’ve never had pain like that. I do take supplements – D3, Magnesium, Over 50 women’s and Vit C. I eat so healthfully too. Thank you for your comments. I will keep everyone informed. Blessings……

  14. Geri, I am so sorry for all you’re dealing with and I truly understand a lot of what that is. I had rotator cuff surgery on my right (dominant) arm over 10 years ago and still vividly remember the pain. Had knee replacement surgery almost 5 years ago that wasn’t nearly as painful. But I fractured a vertebra in my lower back about 4 years ago, found out at that time I have osteoporosis. I wondered what caused it, then in 2020 had a thyroidectomy and was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer. The surgeon did not get it all so the tumor grew and was found in my trachea in October of 2021. I had an emergency tracheostomy a few weeks later, then in January of last year I had to have a total laryngectomy. So I can only speak with an electronic device now. But I found out during all this that I have Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis, also in the last year discovered that the thyroid issue was what caused the osteoporosis- my parathyroid glands were not functioning properly due to primary care PA not checking everything out. Now, the parathyroid glands are gone due to the extensive surgery last year, so I have to take a prescription to keep my calcium level within range. I’m praying for you to get the treatment that you need and will get you back to feeling better! God is using you in a great and mighty way for His glory!

    Geri, I’m sorry to hear how much you are suffering and I will pray for you.
    Have you considered PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) treatment for your shoulder? PRP is an effective treatment for shoulders. I had a couple treatments 13 years ago for my knee which helped me avoid surgery. Good as new ever since.

    Our daughter had parathyroid surgery years ago and has been doing very well. She was just diagnosed with an autoimmune disease. I’m concerned it’s because of the shots she got. Concerning this thing I pleaded with the Lord three times that it might depart from me. And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong” (2 Corinthians 12:7-10).

      I believe that this passage of Scripture is in the Word to remind us that God’s Grace is Sufficient for us, and that His strength is made perfect in our weakness!!

    I have just prayed to our Lord and Savior because I know your fears of having to go to the hospital. MANY brothers and sisters have the same fears because they know what is going on there since the plague. I too pray for all of us, especially you, that we will not fall into human hands before the Lord comes, and that HE MAY COME SOON, because many brothers and sisters are suffering terribly from the continuing bad situation in the world.     Prayers are going up for you Geri ! I had Hyperparathyroidism for years , my blood calcium was way high and for some reason no doctor ever said anything about this being too high when I had lab work done. it caused me untold misery, and the loss of one kidney, but in 2013 I had a parathyroidectomy. My blood calcium dropped from near 12 to 9.5 a few hours after the surgery. I have read that sometimes dental X-rays can cause one of the parathyroid glands to go wonkey . I’ve never had anymore trouble. The Lord took excellent healing care of me.

    Dearest Geri, I am so very sorry for all that you are going thru. I can’t see what I’m typing so please forgive me for spelling errors. I surely will keep you in prayer. You have so many issues going on at the same time I will ask our Heavenly Father for a miracle. He may provide several in numerous ways. I will pray that at the least He would pour out His mercy and grace in great measure so that you will bare up from all this pressure. I have numerous autoimmune issues as well and would like to suggest that you look at a Dr. Eric Berg on you tube. He has helped many people with his videos and his website. People with autoimmune issues have extreme amounts of inflammation in their bodies and you may get much relief by or thru supplements.and suggestions he makes. Less inflammation will mean less pain. Hang in there Geri, were going home soon❤️

Also, as you have autoimmune issues, you might be interested in the research done by the LDN Research Trust, which you can read on their website https://ldnresearchtrust.org/. I have recently started on LDN (low dose naltrexone) for my own autoimmune problem and it has helped very much.

    Geri, I have appreciated the Biblical wisdom you have shared and also the news items you have posted which I would never have had the time to discover on my own. I pray that God will bless you with healing and keep you in the hollow of His hand, and I selfishly pray that this will happen in the here and now so that I and others may continue to benefit from your ministry.

    You do well to avoid hospitals. They are, last I heard, still being paid a bounty for each person they poison with Run-Death-Is-Near. But be thankful that you are not in Australia. I came across guidance to pediatricians there from “The Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation (ATAGI)” that, “Vaccines may also be administered opportunistically while patients are undergoing sedation for unrelated procedures.”

    This world is going to owe an apology to the Third Reich.

    Geri, I’m sorry you having a health problem which is no fun. I will be praying for you. Having a pain isn’t good. I hate it. I have a chronic pain of my back and right side of my neck daily 24/7. Drives me nuts.
