The husband of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Paul, has been “violently assaulted” with a hammer this morning in a San Francisco home invasion, leaving him with blunt force injuries, the congresswoman’s spokesperson and reports say.

“Early this morning, an assailant broke into the Pelosi residence in San Francisco and violently assaulted Mr. Pelosi,” spokesperson Drew Hammill said. “The assailant is in custody and the motivation for the attack is under investigation.” Hammill added, “Mr. Pelosi was taken to the hospital, where he is receiving excellent medical care and is expected to make a full recovery.” 

The spokesperson also said, “The Speaker and her family are grateful to the first responders and medical professionals involved, and request privacy at this time.” 

The White House said President Biden is “is praying for Paul Pelosi and for Speaker Pelosi’s whole family” following the “horrible attack.”

The San Francisco Police Department said that officers responded at around 2:27 a.m. Friday for a report of a home break-in.

“During this incident an 82-year-old male victim was attacked, and the suspect was taken into custody,” the statement added. Police are expected to provide a further update at a press conference later Friday.

Two sources with knowledge of the investigation into the attack told the Associated Press that Paul Pelosi, 82, was specifically targeted, severely beaten with a hammer and suffered blunt force injuries to his head and body. The sources said Pelosi is being treated for injuries including bruising and severe swelling.

The U.S. Capitol Police said in its own statement that it is “assisting the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the San Francisco Police with a joint investigation into a break-in at the California home of the Speaker of the House of Representatives.”

“Special Agents with the USCP’s California Field Office quickly arrived on-scene, while a team of investigators from the Department’s Threat Assessment Section was simultaneously dispatched from the East Coast to assist the FBI and the San Francisco Police with a joint investigation,” it continued. “The law enforcement agencies will provide more information when it can be released. “

The statement also said Nancy Pelosi “was in Washington, D.C. with her protective detail at the time of the overnight, break-in.”

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., said “what happened to Paul Pelosi was a dastardly act.

“I spoke with Speaker Pelosi earlier this morning and conveyed my deepest concern and heartfelt wishes to her husband and their family, and I wish him a speedy recovery,” he said in a statement.

Friday’s reported attack is not the first time the Pelosi’s Pacific Heights property has been targeted recently.

In 2021, photos surfaced on social media and TMZ showing graffiti on a San Francisco garage door purportedly at the home of the Democratic congressional leader. The apparently spray-painted message read “$2K” with a line through it.

“Cancel Rent?” “We want everything!” Another line appeared to read, “UBI!” referring to the concept of universal basic income.

A spokesman for the San Francisco Police Department told Fox News at the time that officers responded to the reported vandalism around 2 a.m. Friday. “Unidentified suspect(s) had painted graffiti on the garage door and left a pig’s head on the sidewalk,” they said. Source

A Christian baker can refuse to make a cake for an event, such as a same-sex wedding, that conflicts with her religious beliefs, a California judge has determined.

In 2017, Cathy Miller — the owner of Tastries Bakery and Boutique in Bakersfield, California — was approached to bake a customized cake for an upcoming lesbian wedding. Because the event conflicted with Miller’s Christian beliefs regarding the nature of marriage, she refused to lend her artistry to a customized cake. However, she did offer the couple, Eileen and Mireya Rodriguez-del Rio, two alternatives: She could bake them a generic, pre-made cake that would not require her personal artistry, or she could recommend to them other bakeries which could accommodate their request.

Miller’s attorneys at the Thomas More Society claim that after this “polite refusal,” Miller was then “targeted by gay activists” and sued for discrimination by the state Department of Fair Housing and Employment.

In multiple lawsuits, the DFHE argued that, by denying the lesbian couple a customized cake, Tastries and Cathy’s Creations Inc. had violated the Unruh Civil Rights Act, a California law passed in 1959 and since expanded to protect consumers against discrimination based on race, ethnicity, or religion.

Paul Jonna, TMS special counsel and partner at LiMandri & Jonna LLP, noted that there is “a certain irony … that a law intended to protect individuals from religious discrimination was used to discriminate against Cathy for her religious beliefs.”

And, based on excerpts of cross-examination from the civil trial held in July, it appears that the state’s attorneys did indeed “discriminate against Cathy,” probing her about the depth and sincerity of her Christian beliefs. According to a statement from TMS, attorney for the state Gregory Mann even asked Miller whether she adhered to Old Testament dietary laws “in terms of not eating pigs, not eating shellfish, et cetera” in an effort to cast doubt on Miller’s testimony that she does her “best” to follow “everything that the Bible says.”

Despite the state’s best legal efforts, Judge Eric Bradshaw of the Superior Court of California in Kern County ruled in favor of Miller. The DFHE “is barred by defendants’ rights to Free Speech under the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution from enforcing the Unruh Civil Rights Act to compel or prohibit defendants’ speech,” Bradshaw‘s ruling said in part.

TMS, which provided legal counsel to Miller pro bono, has celebrated the ruling as “a First Amendment victory.”

“The freedom to practice one’s religion is enshrined in the First Amendment, and the United States Supreme Court has long upheld the freedom of artistic expression,” said Charles LiMandri, special counsel at TMS and partner at LiMandri & Jonna LLP.

Miller has always insisted that she never meant to discriminate against anyone. She wanted only to run her business in accordance with the precepts of her religion. Back in 2017, she told news reporters, “Here at Tastries, we love everyone. My husband and I are Christians, and we know that God created everyone, and He created everyone equal, so it’s not that we don’t like people of certain groups. There is just certain things that violate my conscience.”

The Associated Press reported that Eileen and Mireya Rodriguez-del Rio expect the decision to be appealed.

World Economic Forum henchman Yuval Noah Harari warned humanity on Friday that if they refuse to hand their sovereignty over to the elite they will face extermination.

Speaking at the 2022 Warwick Economics Summit, Harari began by parroting the usual far-left talking points about Climate Change and urging the nations of the world to pay an extra 2 percent of their GDP per year to prevent a “catastrophic” climate event.

Later in the summit, Harari promoted the idea that people don’t need to travel to faraway islands on vacations to be happy and that they don’t need to spend money on beauty products that harm the environment to feel good-looking.

Essentially, he’s suggesting the average person give up basic things that please them in exchange for alternatives the establishment has deemed more “environmentally friendly.”

Of course, the Brad Pitts, Leonardo DiCaprios and Yuval Noah Hararis of the world will continue to fly on private jets while the lemmings are forced to stay home to help “save the Earth.”

The WEF advisor also claimed the world’s most powerful and wealthy nations are most responsible for the alleged climate crisis, failing to address the pollution created by many of the planet’s poorest countries and wealthy citizens.

Regarding America, Harari said the United States has already given up its place as a global leader, adding, “nobody is really stepping up to fill that vacuum.”

Taking advantage of America’s alleged removal as the world’s leader under Joe Biden’s “leadership,” organizations like the WEF and WHO will step in to push the planet into a global technocratic and medical dictatorship, according to Harari.

“We don’t really need a single country to be the leader. Ideally, many countries, many organizations on the grassroots level should each be contributing their ideas, their motivation towards a common project,” he said.

Hosting the discussion was CNN’s Bill Weir, who asked Harari if new technology will help humanity thrive without harming the Earth.

The Klaus Schwab minion responded to Weir by admitting technology is a “double-edged sword” that can be used to either hurt or help people.

He also warned the elite should not rely on a “Noah’s Ark”-type of technology to save them from a catastrophic global event.

Harari basically admitted the elite will hoard the technology to save themselves while the vast majority of people suffer.

“There is a very big danger that with climate change, when people talk about what our future going to be like, there is no ‘us.’ There is no ‘our future.’ Humanity might divide into a majority – maybe – of people who would suffer tremendously, and a minority that will have the resources, the wealth, [and] the technology to protect themselves, and even flourish in some kind of technological Noah’s arc. This is extremely dangerous,” he told Weir.

Later during the discussion, Harari credited “the rise of populists and ultra-nationalist parties in different parts of the world” to politicians scaring people with “fantasies that you will be replaced in a couple of decades by immigrants and foreigners.”

“Even though this is probably not true, and even though it’s in forty or fifty years and even though it’s based on complicated demographics, it’s powerful enough to catapult all kinds of ultra-nationalists and populists to power,” he explained.

While he noted he doesn’t like that “kind of politics,” Harari suggested the global establishment use populist strategies to “mobilize people around a long-term, hazy project,” in combatting climate change.

A viewer of the summit asked Harari what the globalists can do about dictators like Xi Jinping in China who may not go along with the leftist green movement.

Responding, the WEF advisor suggested citizens still have the ability to create change even in nations like China.

In closing, Harari told humanity “we don’t have a lot of time” to realign our priorities so that all inhabitants of the world can have “any kind of future,” instead of just the elite.

Of course, his solution is consolidating global power into the hands of the same elite who wish to reduce the world’s population to create a servant class.
