Benjamin Franklin “You Have A Republic, IF You Can Keep It” His Fears Are Being Realized Today

Written in 2018 – I felt to bring this out again today.

Today I asked my Facebook friends to answer a simple question.  I asked them what type of government we have in the United States.  Most of my friends are Christians and Conservatives; and those who answered were well informed and correct.

When the Constitution was written, our Founding Fathers deemed that the best government (Under God) would be a Constitutional Republic. I stipulated “Under God” for a very good reason. God was an integral part of the writing of our Constitution – and apart from Him, the Republic would not stand.

Our Constitution was written for a moral people.  If you ask any liberal what form of government we have in the U.S. – invariably they will answer with “Democracy.”  And they are dead wrong.  That answer is what the Leftists want to replace our Republic with.

You see, America is a Nation of laws.  Some call it a Democratic Republic and that too is a proper description of our government.  If we were simply a “Democracy” we would have no foundation – NOTHING – Democracies throughout history have imploded or committed suicide.

The rest of this article will be quotes from our founders about our Republic.  This is not taught in our public schools. Why?  Because the NEA (National Education Association) are Communists bent on the destruction of our Republic.

The media and academia can be partly blamed for the inevitable demise of America as we know it, and as the founders meant for America to be governed.

But fear not, brethren. We must always understand that God is in control and nothing surprises Him.  A One World Government must be in place for Antichrist to rule.

But we know who ultimately wins, don’t we?  I will be bolding words of great importance.

Please read these incredible quotes by the men who founded this country and who realized that without God, we would be doomed.

“A simple democracy is the devil’s own government.”

— Benjamin Rush (1745-1813) Founding Father& signer of the Declaration of Independence

Let the American youth never forget that they possess a noble inheritance, bought by the toils and sufferings and blood of their ancestors, and capable, if wisely improved and faithfully guarded, of transmitting to the latest posterity all the substantial blessings of life, the peaceful enjoyment of liberty, property, religion, and independence. The structure has been erected by architects of consummate skill and fidelity; its foundations are solid, its compartments are beautiful as well as useful, its arrangements are full of wisdom and order, and its defenses are impregnable from without. It has been reared for immortality, if the work of men may justly aspire to such a title. It may nevertheless perish in an hour by the folly, or corruption, or negligence of its only keepers, the People. Republics are created by the virtue, public spirit, and intelligence of the citizens. They fall when the wise are banished from the public councils because they dare to be honest, and the profligate are rewarded because they flatter the people in order to betray them.”

— Joseph Story (1779-1845) Lawyer, Supreme Court Justice & influential commentators on the U.S. Constitution

“There is no good government but what is republican. That the only valuable part of the British constitution is so; for the true idea of a republic is ‘an empire of laws, and not of men.’ That, as a republic is the best of governments, so that particular arrangement of the powers of society, or in other words, that form of government which is best contrived to secure an impartial and exact execution of the law, is the best of republics.”

— John Adams (1797-1801) Second President of the United States and Patriot

“If they proceed in it (removing the Bible from schools), they will do more in half a century in extirpating our religion than Bolingbroke or Voltaire could have effected in a thousand years. …I lament that we waste so much time and money in punishing crimes and take so little pains to prevent them. We profess to be republicans, and yet we neglect the only means of establishing and perpetuating our republican forms of government; that is, the universal education of our youth in the principles of Christianity by means of the Biblefor this divine book, above all others, favors that equality among mankind, that respect for just laws, and all those sober and frugal virtues which constitute the soul of republicanism.”

— Benjamin Rush (1745-1813) Founding Father& signer of the Declaration of Independence

“As riches increase and accumulate in few hands, as luxury prevails in society, virtue will be in a greater degree considered as only a graceful appendage of wealth, and the tendency of things will be to depart from the republican standard. This is the real disposition of human nature; it is what neither the honorable member nor myself can correct. It is a common misfortunate that awaits our State constitution, as well as all others.”

— Alexander Hamilton (1755-1804) Lawyer, Secretary of the Treasury & Secretary of State

“It is the manners and spirit of a people which preserve a republic in vigor. A degeneracy in these is a canker which soon eats to the heart of its laws and constitution.”

— Thomas Jefferson (1743-1826) Third President of the United States

But between a balanced republic and a democracy, the difference is like that between order and chaos.”

— John Marshall (1755-1835) House Member, Secretary of State  and Chief Justice of the Supreme Court

The democracy will cease to exist when you take away from those who are willing to work and give to those who would not.

— Thomas Jefferson (1743-1826) Third President of the United States

Republics are created by the virtue, public spirit, and intelligence of the citizens. They fall, when the wise are banished from the public councils, because they dare to be honest, and the profligate (lost all regard to good principles, virtue or decency, dashed, broken or ruined in morals, shameless in wickedness) are rewarded, because they flatter the people, in order to betray them.”

— Joseph Story (1779-1845) Lawyer, Supreme Court Justice & influential commentators on the U.S. Constitution

Democracy will soon degenerate into an anarchy; such an anarchy that every man will do what is right in his own eyes and no man’s life or property or reputation or liberty will be secure, and every one of these will soon mould itself into a system of subordination of all the moral virtues and intellectual abilities, all the powers of wealth, beauty, wit, and science, to the wanton pleasures, the capricious will, and the execrable [abominable] cruelty of one or a very few.”

— John Adams (1797-1801) Second President of the United States and Patriot

The democracy will cease to exist when you take away from those who are willing to work and give to those who would not.”

—  Thomas Jefferson, Author of the Declaration of Independence, 3rd President of the U. S

“They define a republic to be a government of laws, and not of men.”

— John Adams (1797-1801) Second President of the United States and Patriot

“A democracy is a volcano, which conceals the fiery materials of its own destruction. These will produce an eruption, and carry desolation in their way.”

— Fisher Ames (1758-1808) Founding Father and framer of the First Amendment to the Constitution

“Remember, democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet that did not commit suicide. It is in vain to say that democracy is less vain, less proud, less selfish, less ambitious, or less avaricious than aristocracy or monarchy. It is not true, in fact, and nowhere appears in history. Those passions are the same in all men, under all forms of simple government, and when unchecked, produce the same effects of fraud, violence, and cruelty. When clear prospects are opened before vanity, pride, avarice, or ambition, for their easy gratification, it is hard for the most considerate philosophers and the most conscientious moralists to resist the temptation. Individuals have conquered themselves. Nations and large bodies of men, never.”

— John Adams (1797-1801) Second President of the United States and Patriot

“Democracy is nothing more than mob rule, where fifty-one percent of the people may take away the rights of the other forty-nine percent.”

—  Thomas Jefferson, Author of the Declaration of Independence, 3rd President of the U. S.

“Without morals a republic cannot subsist any length of time; they, therefore, who are decrying the Christian religion, whose morality is so sublime and pure…are undermining the solid foundation of morals, the best security for the duration of free governments.”

— Charles Carroll (1737-1832) Founding Father and Leader from Maryland

“That the only foundation for a useful education, in a republic, is to be laid in religionWithout this there can be no virtue, and without virtue there can be no liberty; and liberty is the object and life of all republican governments.”

— Benjamin Rush (1745-1813) Founding Father& signer of the Declaration of Independence

“Upon my return from the army to Baltimore in the winter of 1777, I sat next to John Adams in Congress, and upon my whispering to him and asking him if he thought we should succeed in our struggle with Great Britain, he answered me, ‘Yes—if we fear God and repent of our sins.’ This anecdote will, I hope, teach my boys that it is not necessary to disbelieve Christianity or to renounce morality in order to arrive at the highest political usefulness or fame. Again in Baltimore I asked John Adams if he thought we were qualified for a republican forms of government, He said, “No—and never should be till we were ambitious to be poor.”

— Benjamin Rush (1745-1813) Founding Father& signer of the Declaration of Independence

The Christian religion, in its purity, is the basis or rather the source of all genuine freedom in government… I am persuaded that no civil government of a republican form can exist and be durable, in which the principles of that religion have not a controlling influence.”

— Noah Webster (1758-1843)  Father of the Dictionary & American Patriot

The known propensity of a democracy is to licentiousness, which the ambitious call, and the ignorant believe to be, liberty.

— Fisher Ames (1758-1808) Founding Father and framer of the First Amendment to the Constitution

You may read more quotes from our Founding Fathers regarding our Republic here

So here you have the actual words of the founders and signers of our Constitution. They knew that keeping our Republic would be an immense challenge.

If you know young people who are determined to vote Democrat – PLEASE at least show them this article. I read this morning that the young voters (under 30) have increased this year by 500% and that they are overwhelmingly Liberals.

God is in control and is certainly not surprised by anything which happens in our world. Draw close to Him. Read His Word and never stop praying.

If the Democrats sweep these midterms then we know that God allowed it.

And do not forget that this brings believers that much closer to our Blessed Hope – the Rapture!

How Can I Be Saved?

ANOTHER DEPOPULATION EVENT: Michigan’s Education Department Is Urging Teachers To ‘Transition’ Kids Behind Parents’ Backs

If you have not fit the puzzle pieces together about the indoctrination of our children in government schools, I will attempt to help you understand WHY this is happening. We all know that it is happening, but it’s crucial to understand why.

I believe that the reason is two-fold.

First and foremost, our government is involved in a major depopulation event. Think about it brethren. If the teachers are successful in the sexual transition of our children without parental consent, and these children go on to radically change their bodies – sex change operations, hormones, etc., then these same children will NEVER PROCREATE.

What is the importance of procreation according to the Bible?

In the first chapter of Genesis, God tells Adam and Eve to “be fruitful and increase in number” (Genesis 1:28). This first command—which was also a blessing—that God gave people was a command to have children, to procreate. The same command/blessing, “be fruitful and multiply,” is repeated to Noah’s family in Genesis 9:1and 7 .

When God gave Adam and Eve the command to procreate, they were the only two people in the world. They had been created “male and female,” their bodies designed for union and child-bearing (Genesis 1:27), and God blessed them with fruitfulness. Procreation was vitally important, as God’s intention was for humans, created in His image, to “fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground” (verse 28). Noah, his wife, and their three sons and their wives were in a similar situation: they were the only people living on the earth. So God gave those eight people a similar command and the blessing of fruitfulness.

Procreation is important today, as well. One reason is obvious—if no one procreates, humanity’s existence on this planet would cease. Also, having children is a gift from God. Numerous Scripture passages point to children as a blessing, including Psalm 127:3–5:

“Children are a heritage from the LORD,
offspring a reward from him.
Like arrows in the hands of a warrior
are children born in one’s youth.
Blessed is the man
whose quiver is full of them.”

Procreation in a Christian family gives the parents the privilege of nurturing their own flesh and blood, with fathers bearing the primary responsibility to “bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord” (Ephesians 6:4). Teaching one’s own children the commandments of Christ is a privilege and a joy. Source

Secondly, our government is committed to the breakdown of the nuclear family. You see, they will not compete with Christian parents who teach their children from the Holy Bible. We see this in Marxist/Communist nations that their governments strive to rid their countries of Christianity. I do believe that this is where we are heading.

Karl Marx said this about Christianity and God:

“Religion is the impotence of the human mind to deal with occurrences it cannot understand.”

“The first requisite for the happiness of the people is the abolition of religion.”

Religion is the sigh of the oppressed creature, the heart of a heartless world, and the soul of soulless conditions. It is the opium of the people.

 “Communism begins where atheism begins.”

The Naked Communist

The Naked Communist:

The Naked Communist is a 1958 anti-communist book by American faith-based political theorist W. Cleon Skousen, a former FBI employee. The book has been reprinted several times, most recently in a 2017 printing through Izzard Ink Publishing, and it has sold more than one million copies. I have chosen parts of this Communist document which are directly linked to our children, families, schools and society.

17. Get control of the schools. Use them as transmission belts for Socialism and current Communist propaganda. Soften the curriculum. Get control of teachers associations. Put the party line in textbooks

25. Break down cultural standards of morality by promoting pornography and obscenity in books, magazines, motion pictures, radio and TV. [Note: This is the Gramscian agenda of the “long march through the institutions” spelled out explicitly: gradual takeover of the “means of communication” and then using those vehicles to debauch the culture and weaken the will of the individual to resist.]

26. Present homosexuality, degeneracy and promiscuity as “normal, natural and healthy.” [Note: Today those few who still have the courage to advocate public morality are denounced and viciously attacked. Most Americans are entirely unwitting regarding the motives behind this agenda.]

27. Infiltrate the churches and replace revealed religion with “social” religion. Discredit the Bible and emphasize the need for intellectual maturity, which does not need a “religious crutch.” [Note: This has been largely accomplished through the communist infiltration of the National Council of Churches, Conservative and Reform Judaism, and the Catholic seminaries.]

28. Eliminate prayer or any phase of religious expression in the schools on the grounds that it violates the principle of “separation of church and state”

40. Discredit the family as an institution. Encourage promiscuity and easy divorce. [Note: Done! The sovereign family is the single most powerful obstacle to authoritarian control.]

41. Emphasize the need to raise children away from the negative influence of parents. Attribute prejudices, mental blocks and retarding of children to suppressive influence of parents. [Note: Outcome-based education, values clarification or whatever they’re calling it this year.]

Report: Michigan’s Education Department Is Urging Teachers To ‘Transition’ Kids Behind Parents’ Backs

Brethren, these are dark times in which we live. Please understand that this is nothing compared to what is coming. Jesus warned us in Matthew 24. Get your Bible and read it through many times. We are NOT above intense persecution and even being put to death. Our Messiah was hated and suffered and died for us.

We should regard sharing in his sufferings a privilege and an honor.

GOD IS IN CONTROL, so whatever happens, remember that He allowed it. Keep your eyes on Him. Read the Word of God every day. Pray to Him as you are going about your day. He LOVES when we simply talk to Him.

The incredible glory which awaits those of us who are born-again in Him should fill us with excitement and hope, and should fill our days with His peace that only He can give.
