Yesterday, I came across this beautiful video from Larry to his friend Joshua Harris. Most of you know that recently Joshua walked away from his marriage of 21 years, and the church he has pastored from 2004 -2015.  Most shockingly, Joshua stated that he could no longer call himself a Christian.

The reason that I call the video “beautiful” is because it is filled with agape love right from Larry’s heart.  This is needed in the church, and specifically for Joshua Harris. I admire and love my former pastor, Larry Tomczak, for publicly reaching out to Joshua Harris with Biblical truths and heartfelt love.

We should all be praying for Joshua Harris. Is anything too difficult for our God? We know the answer to that.  So let’s put down our criticisms of Joshua and show the world (they are all watching) what Christian forgiveness and reconciliation looks like.

Father, I pray for Joshua Harris. I pray that You will reach him. I ask that whatever prompted his decision to walk away from his marriage and from his faith, that he would be open to counsel from those who love him and care for him. I pray that he would be open to meet with Your servant, Larry Tomczak. I ask this in the name of Jesus. Amen.
