Robert Byrd
Was a recruiter for the Klan while in his 20s and 30s, rising to the title of Kleagle and Exalted Cyclops of his local chapter. After leaving the group, Byrd spoke in favor of the Klan during his early political career. Though he claimed to have left the organization in 1943, Byrd, wrote a letter in 1946 to the group’s Imperial Wizard stating “The Klan is needed today as never before, and I am anxious to see its rebirth here in West Virginia.” Byrd attempted to explain or defend his former membership in the Klan in his 1958 U.S. Senate campaign when he was 41 years old.[1] Byrd, a Democrat, eventually became his party leader in the Senate. Byrd later said joining the Klan was his “greatest mistake.”[2] However, in a 2001 incident Byrd, Democrat, repeatedly used the phrase “white niggers” on a national television broadcast.
In 1921, Hugo Black successfully defended E. R. Stephenson in his trial for the murder of a Catholic priest, Fr. James E. Coyle. Black, a Democrat, joined the Ku Klux Klan shortly afterwards, in order to gain votes from the anti-Catholic element in Alabama. He built his winning Senate campaign around multiple appearances at KKK meetings across Alabama. Late in life Black told an interviewer:
News of his membership was a secret until shortly after he was confirmed as an Associate Justice of the United States Supreme Court. Black later said that joining the Klan was a mistake, but he went on to say, “I would have joined any group if it helped get me votes.”
Theodore G. Bilbo
a Democrat, the Governor of Mississippi and later the U.S. Senator for Mississippi, was a founder of the Mississippi chapter of the KKK.
John Brown Gordon
a Democrat and the U.S. Senator for Georgia, was a founder of the KKK in his home state of Georgia.
Joseph E. Brown
a Democrat and the U.S. Senator for Georgia, was a key supporter of the KKK in his home state
became Governor of Indiana as a Republican in 1925 and his administration came under fire for granting undue favor to the Klan’s agenda and associates. Jackson was further damaged by the arrest and trial of Grand Dragon D. C. Stephenson for the rape and murder of Madge Oberholtzer. When it was revealed that Jackson had attempted to bribe former Gov. Warren T. McCray with $10,000 to appoint a Klansman to a local office, Jackson was taken to court. His case ended with a hung jury, and Jackson ended his political career in disgrace.
Rice W. Means
a RepublicanU.S. Senator from Colorado, was a member of the Klan in Colorado. He served a three-year term in Congress before losing renomination to Republican Charles W. Waterman in the 1926 election.
Clarence Morley
a Republican and the Governor of Colorado. He was a KKK member and a strong supporter of Prohibition. He tried to ban the Catholic Church from using sacramental wine and attempted to have the University of Colorado fire all Jewish and Catholic professors
Bibb Graves
a Democrat, who was the Governor of Alabama. He lost his first campaign for governor in 1922, but four years later, with the secret endorsement of the Ku Klux Klan, he was elected to his first term as governor. Graves was almost certainly the Exalted Cyclops (chapter president) of the Montgomery chapter of the Klan. Graves, like Hugo Black, used the strength of the Klan to further his electoral prospects.
Clifford Walker
a Democrat and the Governor of Georgia, was revealed to be a Klan member by the press in 1924.
George Gordon
a Democrat and Congressman for Tennessee’s 10th congressional district, became one of the Klan’s first members. In 1867, Gordon became the Klan’s first Grand Dragon for the Realm of Tennessee, and wrote its Precept, a book describing its organization, purpose, and principles
John Tyler Morgan
a Democrat and the U.S. Senator for Alabama, was the Grand Dragon of the KKK in Alabama
Edward Peltus
a Democrat and the U.S. Senator for Alabama, was also a Grand Dragon of the KKK in Alabama.

a politician who ran in both Democrat and Republican presidential primaries, was openly involved in the leadership of the Ku Klux Klan.[29] He was founder and Grand Wizard of the Knights of the Ku Klux Klan in the mid-1970s; he re-titled his position as “National Director” and said that the KKK needed to “get out of the cow pasture and into hotel meeting rooms”. He left the organization in 1980. He ran for president in the 1988 Democratic presidential primaries. In 1989 Duke switched political parties from Democrat to Republican.[30] In 1989, he became a member of the Louisiana State Legislature from the 81st district, and was Republican Party chairman for St. Tammany Parish.
After the Civil War, it was the Republican Party who defended black – NOT Democrats.

I have written many articles on Pope Francis. But I have to say that this may be the most bizarre piece I will write about this man.
Pope Francis is under scrutiny for not exposing the sexual scandals of many bishops. Many are calling for him to step down.
Now it is being reported that the pope is blaming Satan for exposing the sins of these men, so as to scandalize them.
Does that even make any sense?
This pope has from the beginning been a controversial figure; and he has been unlike any pope in the history of the Vatican. After Pope Benedict stepped down (this had not happened in over 600 years) Pope Francis was chosen to be his successor. Francis is also a Marxist/Socialist and a mouth piece for the U.N.’s Climate Change mantra.
Francis was the very first Jesuit priest to become pope. Throughout history, the Jesuits have been known as the military arm of the Vatican.
Pope Francis: Satan tries to ‘uncover’ bishops’ sin to ‘scandalize the people’
ROME, September 11, 2018, (LifeSiteNews) – As controversy continues to swirl around Pope Francis’ silence in the face of serious and far-reaching sexual abuse cover-up allegations, the pontiff said that Satan “tries to uncover” bishops’ sins in order to “scandalize” the faithful.
“In these times, it seems like the ‘Great Accuser’ has been unchained and is attacking bishops,” said Pope Francis in a homily today as reported by Vatican News. “True, we are all sinners, we bishops. He tries to uncover the sins, so they are visible in order to scandalize the people,” he added.
Reaction came quickly to the Pope’s words, with many saying that it sounded like the Pope was suggesting that uncovering the sins of a bishop, such as abuse, was somehow the work of the devil.
“Satan ‘tries to uncover the sins’ of McCarrick, etc. ‘so they are visible in order to scandalize the people,’ says Francis. Bear in mind, this is the exact same reasoning Cardinal Law used to justify protecting pedophile priests” said the Catholic Herald’s U.S. editor, Michael Davis.
“Wow! This is really weird from” the Pope said another Twitter user. “Is he actually saying that if people criticise bishops and reveal their sins it is the work of the devil? Implication: we all need to shut up. Is that it?
Catholic author and commentator Patrick Coffin tweeted, “‘The Great Accuser tries to uncover the sins, so they are visible in order to scandalize the people.’ — words actually spoken by @Pontifex this morning. Logical conclusion: the sins should stay hidden so the devil can’t cause scandal. Speechless.”
The Pope’s homily was delivered at a Mass in the chapel of his Vatican residence, Santa Marta, attended by about 140 bishops present in Rome for meetings at the Vatican.
Pope Francis in his homily may have been referring to the abuse scandal which has exploded against members of the hierarchy in the U.S. as well as in the Vatican as one report after another of sexual abuse and cover-up has rocked the Church.
First, there were the stories about decades of sexual abuse of adolescent boys and seminarians by disgraced former Cardinal McCarrick. Then Pennsylvania’s attorney general released a sweeping, 900-page grand jury investigation of 300 clergy accused of sexual abuse. The majority of those cases involved pederasty – the sexual abuse of adolescent males by adult males, most of whom who were priests.
Then former Apostolic Nuncio to the United States, Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò, released his explosive testimony implicating Pope Francis and several senior prelates in covering up McCarrick’s alleged sexual abuse of seminarians and priests.
In addition to McCarrick, Cardinals Wuerl, Cupich and Tobin have all been tainted by the Viganò testimony, as have Cardinals Sodano, Bertone and Parolin.
The Pope, too, is implicated in the cover-up of McCarrick’s sexual abuse and for having made him a “trusted advisor” after he had been sidelined by his predecessor, Benedict XVI, according to Viganò.
Anger has reached a boiling point among U.S. Catholics, evidenced in letters addressed to the Pope and U.S. Prelates and signed by tens of thousands of concerned women and men.
Nearly ten thousand men have asked Pope Francis and the bishops to “purge the corruption” which is disfiguring the Church.
And the highly influential association of Catholic business leaders, Legatus, has put its annual Vatican tithe of nearly a million dollars “in escrow,” citing the current crisis in the Church. Legatus was founded in 1987 and has 3,000 current members.
Pope Francis has yet to address Viganò’s allegations. Last week he preached that “silence, prayer” are the best response to “wild dogs” who “don’t have good will.”
Yesterday, Francis’ special advisory group known as the Council of Cardinals expressed its loyalty to the Holy Father in the wake of the allegations, stating it “expressed its full solidarity with Pope Francis with regard to the events of recent weeks, aware that in the current debate the Holy See is about to make the eventual and necessary clarifications.” source
Brethren, the events which are happening all around us should give us pause. But they should also give us much excitement and joy. I believe that our Blessed Redeemer must be coming soon!
It has been two years since I wrote two articles on the Arch of Palmyra digital replica coming to major cities worldwide. The news media does not seem to have an interest in this story, or perhaps they have been told to ignore it. As Christians, we know the demonic implications of this arch.
It seemed that New Yorkers felt that this was a natural thing to do. There was no outrage or even a questioning of this event. In Christian circles we were alarmed that such an evil demonic Hindu goddess would be displayed for all of NYC to admire.
Answer: Baal was the name of the supreme god worshiped in ancient Canaan and Phoenicia. The practice of Baal worship infiltrated Jewish religious life during the time of the Judges (Judges 3:7), became widespread in Israel during the reign of Ahab (1 Kings 16:31-33) and also affected Judah (2 Chronicles 28:1-2). The word baal means “lord”; the plural is baalim. In general, Baal was a fertility god who was believed to enable the earth to produce crops and people to produce children. Different regions worshiped Baal in different ways, and Baal proved to be a highly adaptable god. Various locales emphasized one or another of his attributes and developed special “denominations” of Baalism. Baal of Peor (Numbers 25:3) and Baal-Berith (Judges 8:33) are two examples of such localized deities.
According to Canaanite mythology, Baal was the son of El, the chief god, and Asherah, the goddess of the sea. Baal was considered the most powerful of all gods, eclipsing El, who was seen as rather weak and ineffective. In various battles Baal defeated Yamm, the god of the sea, and Mot, the god of death and the underworld. Baal’s sisters/consorts were Ashtoreth, a fertility goddess associated with the stars, and Anath, a goddess of love and war. The Canaanites worshiped Baal as the sun god and as the storm god—he is usually depicted holding a lightning bolt—who defeated enemies and produced crops. They also worshiped him as a fertility god who provided children. Baal worship was rooted in sensuality and involved ritualistic prostitution in the temples. At times, appeasing Baal required human sacrifice, usually the firstborn of the one making the sacrifice (Jeremiah 19:5). The priests of Baal appealed to their god in rites of wild abandon which included loud, ecstatic cries and self-inflicted injury (1 Kings 18:28).
Before the Hebrews entered the Promised Land, the Lord God warned against worshiping Canaan’s gods (Deuteronomy 6:14-15), but Israel turned to idolatry anyway. During the reign of Ahab and Jezebel, at the height of Baal worship in Israel, God directly confronted the paganism through His prophet Elijah. First, God showed that He, not Baal, controlled the rain by sending a drought lasting three-and-one-half years (1 Kings 17:1). Then Elijah called for a showdown on Mt. Carmel to prove once and for all who the true God was. All day long, 450 prophets of Baal called on their god to send fire from heaven—surely an easy task for a god associated with lightning bolts—but “there was no response, no one answered, no one paid attention” (1 Kings 18:29). After Baal’s prophets gave up, Elijah prayed a simple prayer, and God answered immediately with fire from heaven. The evidence was overwhelming, and the people “fell prostrate and cried, ‘The LORD–he is God! The LORD–he is God!’” (verse 39).
In Matthew 12:27, Jesus calls Satan “Beelzebub,” linking the devil to Baal-Zebub, a Philistine deity (2 Kings 1:2). The Baalim of the Old Testament were nothing more than demons masquerading as gods, and all idolatry is ultimately devil-worship (1 Corinthians 10:20). – source
ISIS destroyed the Temple of Baal in August of 2015. This structure was situated in Palmyra, Syria. The secular world seemed to mourn the loss of this so-called temple. Next month, unknown sources will be funding the building of a replica of the Temple of Baal in Times Square.
Just the fact that those funding this are staying in the shadows, shows clearly the sheer evil of this endeavor. Will New Yorkers complain? That is doubtful. It seems that evil is very much accepted by the general public.

“We can confirm destruction of the main building of the Temple of Bel as well as a row of columns in its immediate vicinity,” the agency said in a statement sent to members of the news media, using a different transliteration for the temple.

As local activists and antiquities experts scrambled Monday to assess what had happened, all agreed that an explosion at the site on Sunday had damaged the best-preserved structure of the temple, a stone building that included the altar. Some experts had clung to optimism by saying the extent of the harm to the ruins was unclear, while residents and activists said reports had indicated severe damage.
It will be uncanny and thrilling to see this arch from an ancient desert civilization set against the bright lights of New York. Unfortunately, facsimiles can achieve only so much. Denuded of people, stripped of the rich social contexts in which they were once embedded, antiquities appear just as evidence of the grandeur of the past, the accomplishments of another place in another time. It is clear as you read the excerpt from the NY Times, that it brought great mourning and sadness that this evil temple was destroyed. The war between good and evil is not blurred any longer. It is blatant and there is no gray area. Can you see the excitement in the NY Time’s piece when they speak about this structure coming to Times Square?
This is absolutely demonic.
There are also plans to build a replica of the temple in London. Now sources are saying that there are plans to place these demonic temples in over 1000 cities across the globe.
Satan and his demons are on the move. He knows that time is short. I believe that we will see evil as we have never seen it before in the coming months. I also believe that the true Church in America will realize that we are not immune from persecution – not verbal persecution – I am speaking of possible jailing and even worse. We must pray that God keep us grounded in Him, and help us to not be deceived.
“Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus” (2 Timothy 3:12-15). source

We should have known that when the plans to have the Arch of the Temple of Baal recreated in London and NYC were cancelled, that Satan was just regrouping with his many followers to figure out a way to get this evil done!
Months ago, after Christians all over the world protested about the Temple of Baal, do you remember that the Arch of Triumph was recreated in London, and the plan was to have this done in NYC as well at a later date?
I just recently read that the same “Arch of Triumph” was to be brought to NYC in September of this year. I’m sure that it was the Lord giving me the discernment to investigate and research this further.
Sure enough, I found out that the original Arch of Triumph in Syria was the ENTRANCE WAY into the Temple of Baal! Satan might think he is so smart to pull this off, but our Lord is SMARTER!! Praise His Holy Name!

Today, it is being reported that this demonic arch will be on display in Washington, D.C. on September 26th.
Pagan Arch to Reappear as Washington Exhibit Centerpiece
The reproduction of the Arch of Palmyra, a Roman victory arch that stood as the entrance to a pagan temple for almost 2,000 years, will make an improbable appearance in Washington D.C. and the International Criminal Court in the Hague as a “symbol of Peace and Resilience.”
The original Roman victory arch was built in Palmyra, Syria at the end of the second century CE. Originally it stood in front of the Temple of Bel where pagans worshiped the Mesopotamian god, also known as Ba’al, in a form of idol worship that figures prominently in the Bible. The temple was dedicated in 32 CE but was constructed on the site of a pre-existing temple that goes back to the third millennium BCE.
The rabbi explained that it is no coincidence that the arch is becoming a centerpiece at gatherings of world leaders.
“This is like a child who builds a Lego tower that gets knocked down,” Rabbi Berger explained. “After having it knocked down several times, he goes to build the Lego tower next to his mother so that she will stop it from being knocked down. An average person, Jew or non-Jew, has no tolerance for open idolatry. If someone built an altar to idolatry in the middle of a nice neighborhood, everyone would gather together to destroy it. The average person has no desire for idolatry. So the people who seek dark and unholy power build their symbols of idolatry next to powerful politicians, at these world power summits, so that normal people will not be able to challenge them.”
The disciples of Rabbi Yossi the son of Kisma questioned him, asking when the son of David (the Messiah) will appear. And he answered: I am afraid you will request from me a sign as well. And they assured him that they would not. He then said to them: When this gate will fall, be rebuilt and fall again, be rebuilt again and fall again. And before it will be rebuilt for the third time the Messiah will appear.
Brethren, I do think that it is very strange that the reporting of this arch in Washington, D.C. has been so hush hush. Surely some D.C. news outlets should report on this – unless they were told otherwise.
