Brethren, I wrote a piece on Together 2016, in which I alerted the reader that this gathering and its leaders believe that the Catholic Church is part of true Christianity.   Well, Satan really covered his bases…..

An App for Together 2016 just came out for your phone.  It has a “find a church” feature which includes “Gay affirming” churches.

Wow!  Churches where  gays can attend where a perverted version of the Gospel is preached!   The gay community will be reasurred by leadership that their SIN of Homosexuality is just fine with God.   IT’S NOT.

I downloaded it and found that if you live in a small rural community like I do, you may have to type a larger community into the locator in order to see your gay-affirming selections.

The event promises to unite religious beliefs from within and outside of biblical Christianity, all in the name of Jesus. But which Jesus? From the Vatican in Rome, Pope Francis will deliver a welcoming message via video to the attendees, and will be among the many “thought leaders” Hall has invited to influence attendees, along with the many celebrities who are leaders in false movements like the Word of Faith Prosperity and the NAR (New Apostolic Reformation) movements. – source

Keep looking up, my brothers and sisters in Christ.  I do believe that soon we will hear that trumpet, and in the twinkling of an eye, we will be with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ – forevermore!

Do pray for the lost who come to this apostate gathering. Pray that God would bring true born again believers into their lives so that they will hear the REAL Gospel of Jesus Christ!

It seems that the apostasy within the Church has led up to a gathering of deceived individuals, scheduled to meet on Saturday, July 16th, on the Mall in Washington, D.C.  They are calling the themselves  ‘Together 2016.’

Many churches have been “returning to Rome.”  I have written quite a few articles on this.  I am convinced that the people involved in this movement do not have the Holy Spirit living within them. I come to this conclusion mainly from reading this passage of Scripture:

“For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect” (Matthew 24:24)   (Emphasis mine)

Do you see that, brethren?  IF IT WERE POSSIBLE.  This Scripture shows us that the Elect – those who truly belong to Christ, cannot be deceived!

As you read this piece, keep that Scripture in your mind. We tend to vent our anger at our government; at Islam, and at all people and groups who scheme to silence us.    Always remember that the god of this world HATES us and HATES Israel!

In eight years, BHO has done more to destroy our values and what we hold dear; our faith in Christ and our patriotism for our country, than any other president in the history of America.  But remember – we are not wrestling against flesh and blood (Obama) but we are wrestling against the powers of darkness – Satan and his demons.

BHO is simply a tool for them.

Oh, he IS evil; there is no doubt about it. But he is owned by the devil and does his bidding at his every beck and call. I believe that Obama has been given over to his lusts and a reprobate mind.  I find it hard to pray for him because I truly believe that he will not be saved.  I used to feel bad about this attitude, but I believe that Scripture backs up my conclusion about him:

2 Thessalonians: 10-12

“And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:  That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.”

*I think that this passage of Scripture truly defines BHO.

Homosexuals think that those in power really care about them

This is a farce.  BHO, Hillary Clinton and all of the left wingers who have fought for Gay marriage and Transgender rights, could not care less about these people!  This push for everything that goes against the Christians’ convictions, has happened primarily for two reasons. One is for votes.  The second and in my opinion the end game – the eventual jailing of true Christians and the closing of Bible believing churches.

There are many denominations who are not only fighting for the rights of gays, but they ordain gays for their pulpits.  These people will be safe from our government. These are the ones who will be left behind when the Rapture of the Church happens. They are in the world AND of the world as well.

Jesus said in John 17:14 – “I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.”

James 4:4 – “Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.”

Popular Pastor Leaves School Board Over Policy Teaching Students Safe Homosexual Sex, Abortion

A popular Southern California pastor resigned from his position on the state’s largest high school board after his peers voted in favor of a mandate that would require pro-LGBTQ sexual ethics education in public schools.

In an email published in a First Things article last Thursday, Pastor Chad Vegas noted that after 12 years of serving on the board he faced a potential lawsuit for his decision to vote against the policy.

Vegas wrote:

CA has mandated this [school transgender policy] for the whole state. I have served on the largest high school board in CA, and the nation, for 12 years. I basically lead that board. Our board voted to adopt the new law into policy. I voted against it. I was breaking the law for doing so. I could be personally sued and our attorney tells me the board insurance won’t cover me because I am breaking the law and I am a bigot.

The California law requires that the state’s middle and high schools offer instruction to students on how to have safe homosexual sex and how to get an abortion. It also requires schools to teach that gender does not correspond to biological sex.

Vegas announced last month in a letter to his Sovereign Grace Church congregation that he would not run for re-election, despite the community’s pleas for him to remain.

“My time as a public school board member has come to an end. I am very much at peace with this decision,” the June 2 post read. “While I am not optimistic about the future of our country, I am deeply optimistic about the future of Christ’s church. Jesus will build his church and the gates of Hell will not prevail against it.”

The Bakersfield Californian reported at the time that Board President Mike Williams “decried the decision on social media,” begging for somebody to “talk him out of it,” and later revising his post to say, “No, pray him out of it.”

Vegas posted an update on his decision to his blog Thursday, including his original letter to his congregation:

“It is legally required to teach your children the LGBTQ sexual mores while simultaneously illegal to mention God,” he wrote. “I can’t and won’t enforce that foolishness.”

“I am a Christian pastor above all else,” he continued. “I could not vote for these policies. I can not remain on a board to enforce these policies. I spoke out against the board voting for this. I called on them to realize that they will answer to God on this vote, and they should fear Him more than the state. I did not prevail.”

Westminster Theological Seminary professor Carl Trueman, a friend of Vegas who penned the First Things article that includes the pastor’s email, asserted that a cultural shift “has been taking shape for some time.” Trueman noted that Christian values and beliefs are no longer respected or even tolerated as they are seen as a threat to an increasingly pluralistic society.

He added that Christians should let go of the idea that “the world is run by people who respect difference and diversity, and that all we need to do is behave decently in order to win their respect and earn their favor.” Instead, he argued, they must actively defend their beliefs, even if that means removing oneself from a position on power to avoid being forced to comply with policies that threaten those beliefs.

In his July 7 post, Vegas urged readers to pray for Christians serving in the public school system.

“I do not know how long Christian teachers and administrators can ethically continue,” Vegas wrote. “They will certainly need to increase in their wisdom as they navigate this new legal reality in our state.” He also suggested that soon Christian parents in California will need to explore alternative educational options for their children. – source

Brethren, this pastor is a godly man.  He knows that he must obey God rather than man. He also knows that because of his convictions and that he is acting upon them – he will most likely wind up in prison.

I believe that in the next few years, if the Lord tarries, that this story will be so commonplace. I believe that many of us who speak out against sin will be incarcerated.

I don’t want to be in jail, but I am ready to be – for my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. These days are so evil.  I truly believe that our time hear on earth is short. I don’t claim to know when He is coming to get us, but I think it’s soon. I HOPE it’s soon.

We must be strong in Him

“Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:  Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.  Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:  Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you. To him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Many people think that the devil is some fictional character. They laugh about him, and at people who believe that he exists.

Most of you know that I grew up in a secular Jewish home.  When I was born again in 1983, my mother and I had many discussions about the Bible.  She would look at me as if I had lost my mind.  The thing that bothered her more than my belief in Jesus as Messiah, was my belief that the devil was real.

She would say to me “Geri, how can you believe in this fictional character?”  I would tell her that Jesus talked about the evil one and about hell; so I knew they were both real.  I told her that Jesus only spoke truth.  She would just shake her head and walk away.

Scriptures about Satan

1 Peter 5:8 – Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

1 John 3:8 – He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

2 Corinthians 11:14 – And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.

John 8:44 – Ye are of [your] father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

The Evil we see happening on this earth:

In the past couple of weeks, we have witnessed Evil that boggles most people’s minds.  We blame this one or that one – this group or that group. But the reality of it is that ALL evil is inspired by the devil himself.  Scripture says so:

Ephesians 6:12

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

When Lucifer was cast from heaven down to earth, his name was changed to Satan. He is the god of this world. When Jesus went to the Cross and died for our sins, and then was resurrected – he broke the power of Satan over all who would place their trust in Him. If you do not belong to Jesus, then you belong to the devil.  You are either saved or lost.

Naturally, people who deny the existence of Satan, will deny that there is a real place called hell.  I have heard so often from unbelievers this: “A good God would never send anyone to hell – so I don’t believe there is even a place called hell.”

It is not the will of God that anyone would be sent to hell. His will is shown in many Scriptures, but this one is the most familiar:

John 3:16-17

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.”

Do you see that God gave His only Son for you and for me and for all people? His love is clearly shown by sending Jesus to earth and then to that horrid Cross, where He died an unspeakable death for us!   He made a way for you to be saved from going to hell for eternity!  Jesus rose from the dead and His death and Resurrection paid the debt for your sin and my sin.

Romans 5:8

“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”

Revelation 21:8 – But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

Matthew 25:46 – And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

Matthew 10:28 – And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

Revelation 20:15 – And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Romans 6:23 – For the wages of sin [is] death; but the gift of God [is] eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord

Mark 9:43-48  – And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. And if thy foot offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter halt into life, than having two feet to be cast into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.
And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out: it is better for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire:
 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.

Revelation 20:14 – And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

Matthew 13:50 – And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

2 Thessalonians 1:9 – Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;

Revelation 14:11 – And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.

Matthew 5:22 – But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.

Hebrews 10:26-31 –  For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,  But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. He that despised Moses’ law died without mercy under two or three witnesses: Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace? For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people. It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

Revelation 20:10 – And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet [are], and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

I believe that every word in the Bible is God’s own words. Yes, they were penned by men, but these men were under the inspiration of God’s Holy Spirit.  They are all His words.

If you have never repented of your sinful ways, and trusted the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior, then there is only one place your soul will go when you die.  You will go to hell.   But the good news is that you can know the Lord and be saved today!  But God knows all things, and He knows your heart. He knows if you are sincere in wanting to come into the family of God.
