Riots broke out in a multicultural area of the English city of Leeds on Thursday evening, with hundreds of residents setting fires, throwing stones, and clashing with police.
Horrific images poured out from the heavily Pakistani Harehills area in east Leeds, with a double-decker bus being burnt to a crisp, a police car overturned, and widespread chaos.
The incident reportedly broke out after four children were removed from their families by social services, which apparently enraged the local population, The Telegraphreports.
The West Yorkshire Police said per the Manchester Evening News: “Officers attended and found an ongoing disturbance which involved some agency workers and some children. More people started to attend the location and a decision was made to remove the agency workers and the children to a safe place.
“A crowd started to gather and more officers were requested to attend the area, where some pockets of disorder were occurring.
“More officers have been deployed to the area to assist with the management of this incident. Some road closures are also being implemented and people are advised to avoid the area at this time. No injuries have been reported and enquiries are ongoing at the scene.”
Responding to the violent scenes, Reform UK leader Nigel Farage wrote on X: “The politics of the subcontinent are currently playing out on the streets of Leeds. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.”
This comment sparked outrage from a local left-wing Labour Party MP Alex Sobel, who said: “This is a situation you know nothing about and no one has briefed you on.
“You are inflaming a situation with misinformation. Politicians have a responsibility to not exacerbate situations, particularly with no knowledge of them. I expect you to issue an apology.”
To which, Mr Farage retorted: “When will you and the Labour Party apologise for irresponsible mass migration?”
The Brexit leader’s comments were echoed by fellow Reform MP Lee Anderson, who said: “Import a third world culture, then you get third world behaviour.”
“These animals need locking up for good. They are a product of our spineless namby-pamby establishment who have betrayed our great country.”

A widespread IT outage linked to a software update from cybersecurity company CrowdStrike has caused significant disruptions to businesses and services worldwide using Microsoft software, affecting banks, airports, TV stations, hotels, and many other industries.
Wiredreports that in the early hours of Friday, companies running Microsoft’s Windows operating system began experiencing widespread technical issues, with devices displaying Blue Screens of Death (BSODs). The problem quickly spread globally, impacting organizations in Australia, the UK, India, Germany, the Netherlands, and the United States.
The outage has had far-reaching consequences across various sectors. In the aviation industry, major U.S. airlines including United, Delta, and American Airlines issued a “global ground stop” on all flights. Media outlets were also affected, with Sky News going offline. The healthcare sector saw disruptions as well, with NHS England confirming that GP appointment and patient record systems were impacted.
Cybersecurity officials have stated that the issues are not believed to be the result of a malicious cyberattack. Instead, the problems stem from a misconfigured or corrupted update pushed out by cybersecurity giant CrowdStrike to its customers. The incident appears to only be affecting devices running the Windows operating system.

CrowdStrike engineers have acknowledged the problem on the company’s Reddit forum, confirming “widespread reports of BSODs on Windows hosts” across their software. They are actively working on resolving the issue and have advised customers on a workaround for affected systems. The company has also issued instructions to its customers in an advisory.
The scale of the outage is significant, with CrowdStrike serving more than 24,000 customers worldwide. The company provides endpoint detection and response (EDR) technology, which runs on thousands of “endpoints” such as computers, ATMs, and Internet of Things devices, scanning them to identify real-time threats from cybercriminals.
Lukasz Olejnik, an independent cybersecurity consultant, suggests that the financial impact of these outages could result in “millions” being lost by affected organizations that have had to halt operations or cease business activities. Olejnik noted that the CrowdStrike update appears to be linked to its Falcon Sensor product, which is part of the company’s security tools designed to block attacks on systems.

Cybersecurity researcher Kevin Beaumont reported on social media that he had seen a copy of the CrowdStrike update, stating that the file was not properly formatted and “causes Windows to crash every time.” Beaumont also indicated that there doesn’t appear to be an automated way to fix the issues at present.
Brody Nisbet, the director of overwatch at CrowdStrike, shared a workaround fix on social media. The process involves booting Windows machines into safe mode, locating and deleting a specific file, and then rebooting the machine normally. Nisbet stated, “There is a fix of sorts so some devices in between BSODs should pick up the new channel file and remain stable.”
Olejnik points out, “When a system has several software systems maintained by various vendors, this is equivalent to placing trust on them. They may be a single point of failure—like here, when various firms feel the impact.”
As more information comes out about the attempted assassination of President Donald Trump on July 13, 2024, the case for conspiracy is becoming more plausible.
Logically, it is hard to imagine that the 20-year-old shooter, Thomas Matthew Crooks, who had no known formal training, could outsmart the Secret Service and their decades of systems, plans, and practices that have one precise goal: protect the body of the president of the United States and other VIPs.

However, considering the significant–many would argue intentional–breaking of protocols by the Secret Service during the assassination of John F. Kennedy in 1963, conspiracy at the highest levels cannot be ruled out.
Shooter was being watched by authorities hours before disaster and was spotted by rally attendees
According to recent reports, the Secret Service spotted Crooks three hours before the shooting took place at 6:11 p.m. Sources claim that the shooter was on authorities’ radar at 3:00 PM, trying to pass through rally security with a range finder, typically used to measure the distance between a hunter and his target.
The Secret Service reportedly continued to observe Crooks until he left the screening area to return to his vehicle, which contained explosive devices and a bulletproof vest, where he would then collect his rifle.
Around 5:30 PM, 41 minutes before the shooting, a Beaver County Emergency Services Unit officer snapped a photograph of Crooks, who was suspiciously scouting out the area, proving that authorities were aware of a suspicious person who could be a threat. Law enforcement searched the grounds but could not find him as he moved positions.

At 5:45 PM, 26 minutes before the failed assassination attempt, the same law enforcement officer snapped yet another image of Crooks, sending it to the command center. By this time, Crooks had taken up his position on the roof, according to The New York Post.
Multiple rally attendees, including one man interviewed by the BBC after the rally, reported spotting Crooks 3 to 4 minutes before the shooting took place.
“We noticed a guy crawling army, you know, bear crawling up the roof of the building beside us. 50 feet away from us,” explained the Trump supporter. “So, we are standing there; you know, we are pointing at the guy crawling up the roof. He had a rifle. We could clearly see him with the rifle.”
The rally attendee, who said he is 100% sure of what he observed, revealed that he and his friends warned authorities, yelling, “Hey man, there’s a guy on the roof with a rifle, and the police were like, ‘huh, what?’ Like they didn’t know what was going on… I’m thinking to myself, ‘Why is Trump still speaking? Why have they not pulled him off the stage?’”
Multiple videos and photographs of Crooks were captured minutes before he opened fire, striking President Trump in the ear, missing death by mere millimeters, and murdering hero firefighter, husband, and father Corey Comperatore, who was shot dead while using his body to shield his wife and children.

The setup is too convenient
According to mainstream sources like CNN and NBC, Crooks purchased a ladder at his local Bethel Park Home Depot a few hours before arriving on the scene. This raises the question: how did Crooks know that there was a building nearby that would be unguarded so that he could unload and use a ladder?
Once he was on the roof, local law enforcement attempted to confront Crooks, where he allegedly pointed his rifle at officers, making them retreat, according to the testimony recorded by Reuters of Butler County Sheriff Michael Slupe.
On July 16, Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle addressed the justified criticism of her failure to secure the building that Crooks used to open fire, stating, “That building in particular has a sloped roof at its highest point. And so, there’s a safety factor that would be considered there that we wouldn’t want to put somebody up on a sloped roof. And so, the decision was made to secure the building, from inside.”
This is false and absurd. The Secret Service snipers behind Trump’s podium pictured below are on what seems to be a roof that is just as sloped, if not even more sloped.

A viral comical video on the social media platform X, formerly Twitter, went viral, displaying a cow walking around on a similarly sloped roof with zero issues.
Congressman and former U.S. Army sniper Cory Mills (R-FL) commented on the Secret Services’ failure on Fox News with Jesse Waters: “Bottom line is that this is massive negligence to the point of me speculating on what was intentional and what wasn’t.”
Representative Mills concluded by saying, “So this is divine intervention. This is God having His protective hand and wearing Ephesians 6, the armor of God, over the president. Because this right here, a millisecond or a millimeter in change, and this isn’t an attempted assassination; this is an assassination of a president.”
Worse than JFK
The events that unfolded leading up to the assassination attempt of Trump are worse than what transpired in November of 1963 in Dallas, Texas, when President Kennedy tragically lost his life.
The conspiracy to assassinate Kennedy succeeded, but preparations to kill the president were stealthy and under the radar. What transpired on July 13 was the opposite. It was obvious and recorded by many.
Crooks was flagged by authorities when he brought in a scope hours before the shooting; his backpack and bike were photographed; he was seen getting on the roof; he was confronted by authorities’ minutes before opening fire; and it appears that snipers even had their sights on Crooks moments before President Trump almost lost his life. It was the worst security failure in U.S. Secret Service history.

Despite all of this, Crooks came millimeters from success as the hand of Providence turned Trump’s head towards safety.
And similarly to 1963, when the infamous “patsy” Lee Harvey Oswald was murdered by organized crime boss Jack Ruby, Crooks was killed and swiftly labeled the lone gunman in an attempt to squelch any ideas to the contrary.
The FBI, a rogue entity that raided Trump’s Palm Beach Mar-a-Lago mansion with clearance to use “deadly force,” has been tasked with investigating the assassination attempt.

House speaker Mike Johnson vowed on Thursday to arrest any anti-Israel congressional officials who disrupt or get “out of hand” during Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s upcoming floor speech to a joint session of Congress.
Johnson’s comments come as hundreds of left-leaning congressional staffers, and some Democratic lawmakers, vowed to protest or boycott Netanyahu’s address on July 24.
“There will be extra sergeants at arms on the floor,” said Johnson, speaking at a Republican Jewish Coalition event on the sidelines of the Republican National Convention on Thursday. “If anybody gets out of hand, we’re gonna arrest people.”
On Wednesday, the Congressional Progressive Staff Association sent a letter, signed by over 200 congressional staffers, vowing to protest Netanyahu’s speech.
Several progressive lawmakers, including Sen. Bernie Sanders (I., Vt.), are also expected to boycott the event. During Netanyahu’s joint address to Congress in 2015, 58 members of Congress skipped his speech in opposition.
Johnson described the GOP as the only true pro-Israel party in America, calling for strong “aid and assistance to Israel” and for cutting off taxpayer funding to universities that allow anti-Semitic protests.
“In America now, there really is only one true, pro-Israel party, and it is the Republican Party,” he said.
Other lawmakers echoed the sentiment at the event, where Republicans sought to make the case that they are the best party for Jews and Israel-supporters—groups that are facing increasing hostility from the left.
Rep. Mike Waltz (R., Fla.) slammed the “Squad”—the group of progressive House members led by Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D., N.Y.)—as the “Hamas caucus.”
“They’re no longer the ‘Squad.’ They’re now called the Hamas caucus,” Waltz said. “Never in my lifetime did I think I’d see elected members of Congress supporting terrorists.”
Waltz, a retired Green Beret, also called for stronger U.S. military aid to Israel.
“We need to be putting bombs on foreheads. Because that’s the only thing Hamas understands.”
Also speaking at the event were North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum, South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem, former secretary of state Mike Pompeo, and Israeli ambassador to the U.S. Michael Herzog.
RJC executive director Matt Brooks said the Republican Party has seen increased support from Jewish voters in swing states, and he expects the GOP to continue to “make inroads and build” among this constituency.
Brooks also dismissed the notion that a prime-time convention speech on Thursday by Tucker Carlson, a vehement critic of U.S. aid to Israel, would undermine the GOP’s message of support for the Jewish state.
“You can’t come away from seeing the breadth and depth of the totality of the pro-Israel speakers, the unbridled enthusiasm in the hall, and come away with any other conclusion than the Republican Party is strongly united in its commitment to the state of Israel,” he said. source
Brethren – they certainly cannot control what will occur in the streets that day, but they can control what happens in the joint session of Congress when Netanyahu speaks.
