Sometimes, an upside-down flag is just a mistake.
In 2021, West Virginia Gov. Jim Justice appealed for mercy on behalf of a state worker who hung the flag upside down in front of the state capitol, according to Metro News.
“It was this gentleman’s first time hanging the flag and he was switching it out at midday because the old flag was becoming tattered and worn,” Justice said, responding to social media concerns.
The man wanted a new flag “to fly high over this wonderful Capitol so that we can appropriately honor our country,” he said.
“We don’t need to humiliate or throw stones. We all make mistakes,” Justice said then. Source
The contrasts between Christ and Antichrist are instructive. Our Lord was despised and rejected by Israel and by the world: the Antichrist will be hailed and embraced. Christ was mocked and jeered: the Antichrist will be praised. The cry of those who rejected Christ was, “We’ll not have this man to reign over us!” It is incredible to realize that in contrast the Antichrist will be accepted not only by the world but by Israel as well. Jesus told the Jewish leaders in His day, “I am come in my Father’s name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive” (John 5:43).
Christ’s kingdom of light and truth is heavenly (“My kingdom is not of this world” – John 18:36); Antichrist’s kingdom of darkness is built upon a lie and is totally of this world. It is sad to see so many evangelical Christians becoming increasingly entangled in this world, joining with Catholics, Mormons and other cultists and occultists to pursue its political and social agendas—and in the process losing their hope of heaven. It was characteristic of the early church that they knew they were the ekklesia, the called-out ones, who were no longer of this world (John 17:6,14,16) but were eagerly waiting (1 Thessalonians 1:10) and watching for Christ to return to take them to heaven (Hebrews 9:28; Jn:14:2-3). A parental war against a school’s decision to forcibly indoctrinate 4-year-old students into the LGBT ideology is continuing – even though a judge in the case already has issued a radical ruling that the agenda for alternative sexual lifestyle choices essentially is “Christian.”
The fight developed when Christian parents Izzy and Shane Montague objected to their child’s former school, Heavers Farm, forcing the 4-year-old into an LGBT-themed Pride Parade.
The Christian Legal Center helped in the fight after the school mandated participation in the ideological agenda.
Told of the “Pride” events only shortly before the promotions occurred, the parents were accused of being bigoted, and even were told that participation was a legal requirement.
Ultimately, 182 students were withdrawn from the activities by their parents.
But when the dispute reached an initial court level, Circuit Court Judge Christopher Lethem plunged headfirst into LGBT advocacy.
He issued a ruling wildly claiming that there was little in the Pride parade that was inconsistent with the Montague’s Christian beliefs, and even claimed a poster, “Some people are gay. Get over it!” actually what Christian teaching advocates.
School officials, during testimony, claimed Christian views about homosexuality are “homophobic,” and in their emails to each other, charged Christians with concerns about the school’s leftism were “bigots.”
According to the legal team, “The headteacher also commented on the views of one parent who objected to their child’s participation in the Parade on religious grounds, stating that it was because of such parents that the Pride parade must be mandatory.”
The school, in fact, smeared The Montagues’ beliefs, stating, “This parent really does have a strange (and offensive) take on the world; we are working hard to make sure that the children in our schools don’t share these views!”
The family accused the school of breaching the Equality Act 2010 and the Human Rights Act, but the judge ruled against that argument.
Mrs. Montague said, of the initial court conclusions, “This judgment bears absolutely no resemblance to the truth of what happened at the school and in the court room. This judgment props up a carefully fabricated defence put forward by the school which put the thinnest veneer of what they were doing. It turns black into white and white into black.”
Andrea Williams, chief of the Christian Legal Centre, said there will be an appeal, “and rightfully so.”
“I have known Shane and Izzy Montague and the facts of this case for five years. We have walked alongside them and I can honestly say that the judgment reads like fiction. It bears no resemblance to what actually happened,” Williams said. “It uses contorted logic and distortion of the facts to fit an ideological outcome it appears the court was determined to reach.
“Today’s judgment is remarkable for all of the wrong reasons. While the government has recognized the pitfalls of leaving the content of LGBT and sex education to the discretion of schools, and called for a review, this court has gone the other way. Despite finding that the school put too much emphasis on LGBT issues and normalized them for primary school aged children, it ruled that the Pride event was actually about tolerance and diversity, and not LGBT.”
Brothers and sisters in Christ – don’t let the ‘Wokesters’ fool ya. This is not about tolerance and diversity. It IS ALL about indoctrination of the children to eventually turn from Christian teachings and fall away from the faith in years to come.

New York City Mayor Eric Adams (D) says outraged parents will have to deal with border crossers and illegal aliens living in their children’s public school gyms for the time being.
As Breitbart News reported, Adams has started carrying out a policy that converts a number of public school gyms into migrant shelters with potentially hundreds of border crossers and illegal aliens living on campuses as school children are attending classes.
Outraged parents and students protested on Tuesday outside some of the schools where Adams has started housing migrants, including PS 188 in Coney Island and PS 17 in Williamsburg, providing them with free food as recess is cut for students.
“Our children deserve to have the academics … how are they going to do that when our kids are having to worry about who they are around? We’re going to get hurt. And our teachers as well are having to suffer because now they are stuck in the position where they can’t even get our kids help,” one parent said.
Adams, in a statement, shrugged off the protests and effectively told parents that they will have to deal with their children sharing school campuses with newly arrived border crossers and illegal aliens.
“This is one of the last places we want to look at. None of us are comfortable with having to take these drastic steps,” Adams told NY1 News:
Each gym, the 20 gyms that we are looking at, we have not made a final determination on all the gyms, but that we are looking at are separate from the actual school buildings. They are independent from the school buildings. [Emphasis added]
Likewise, in a separate statement, Adams warned that “every city service” meant for New Yorkers will be impacted by waves of border crossers and illegal aliens arriving in the sanctuary city, though he defended that policy.
“We have [been] a sanctuary city for over 40 years, and when you think about … the law that was put in place or the agreement that was put in place, no one anticipated having 4,200 people come in one week to the city,” Adams said.
Since the spring of 2022, Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R) and other governors have bused over 60,000 border crossers and illegal aliens to New York City. The cost to New Yorkers, by the middle of next year, is expected to hit $4 billion. Source
