A tsunami warning was issued on Monday after a powerful 7.7 magnitude struck the Tanimbar region in Indonesia, Reuters reported.
According to preliminary reports, the earthquake struck 60 miles below the earth’s surface.

Geri, thank you for the terrific articles and reports. There’s a man who goes by “Dutchsinse” who does great analysis on seismic activity and forecasts potential quakes based on occurring patterns. His forecasts are quite accurate (I.e. I just watched his most recent video forecasting this 7+ based on the 7.0 that just occurred in Vanuatu). His information can be a bit hard to comprehend initially but I’ve gained a much better understanding now. I recommend checking his channel out if you or your subscribers are interested in seismic information.
