Dale Vernon has been a faithful reader and commenter on this blog site for a very long time. His response to this article is just too important to not publish:

“Thought I would give a couple reasons why I don’t give a rip about what the enemy does with my DNA. My DNA belongs to the One who created it. He bought me and all alone paid the astronomical price required to keep me for Himself forever when He died on the Cross and forgave my sins.

He rose from the dead 3 days later to show proof positive that only He is the Almighty powerful God of the Universe and has the power over death. He will never leave me nor forsake me. When I die I won’t need DNA since I will have new and perfect eternal flesh and bone (no blood) body and a new sinless nature which will serve God lovingly, unceasingly, willingly with all my new being.

God will even give me a new name. The battle with Satan, my flesh and the world will be over forever. No matter what the devil and his disciples do with me or my DNA – my eternal future with my Lord and Savior is sealed forever and I look forward to death.

Does the reader have that assurance? Are you sure of your next destination after death? All mankind are sinners and deserve the penalty of death for breaking the Laws of Almighty God. Are your sins forgiven? Do you know that for sure? Do you want that assurance of eternal life that is given by a loving, merciful God who gives His personal guarantee and cannot lie?

The most precious, gracious, loving gift anyone can give is his life for another. Only Jesus did that for mankind. It’s a free gift, you cannot earn it. This wonderful gift of salvation for eternity is called “Grace” which means UNDESERVED MERIT. God’s grace and Jesus’ death and resurrection made this UNDESERVED MERIT available to YOU for a full pardon for every sin you ever committed.

While we were sinners Christ died for us and paid the penalty in full. He said on the cross in His dying breath “It is finished.” Nothing more can be done or added to procure God’s gift of salvation. However there is one sin that God cannot forgive even if you are a faithful church goer and do wonderful things in God’s Name and that is rejection of this free gift of salvation already paid in full by Jesus Christ just FOR YOU.

“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8).

There is no other recourse for a person who decides to reject God’s salvation gift but to face Him for judgement in His court of Law. Your good deeds will not be a factor in saving you from Hell. ONLY the blood of Jesus can cleanse you. Without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sin. THAT blood is the precious blood of Jesus He shed specifically for YOU on the cross of Calvary.

He respects your individuality so you must ASK Him to save you. You must be willing to commit your whole being to Him and prayerfully ASK for mercy and forgiveness as a lawbreaker. He is faithful and just to forgive all sin. If you take that step He will come live within you and guide you to be like Himself and upon death your wonderful future eternal heavenly home will be waiting for you.

“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness” (1 John 1:9).

He stands at the door of your heart and is knocking right now for you to open it. If you open that door and invite Him in then He will open His Pearly Gates for you in Heaven.”

 “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me” (Revelation 3:20).
