I have wanted to write an article for the past few days, but my deep sadness has kept me from doing so. I have been thinking about the brethren and it breaks my heart knowing how we all feel at this troubling time.

Many are asking why God would allow this to happen. One of my friends said “Look at all of the wonderful things our president has done for us and for Israel. Why would God allow this now?”

I don’t know how to answer a question like that. We don’t know the mind of God.

“For who hath known the mind of the Lord? or who hath been his counsellor?” (Romans 11:34)

I do know this: All prophecy in the Word will be fulfilled to the letter. Many have already come to pass. Many are yet to be fulfilled.

The Mornings are the Worst

When I open my eyes in the morning, for just a moment I forget about our nation and what has happened to it. But then it hits me and the anguish returns. Immediately I think about other believers and how they are going through this same torment.

My Liberal Family

It’s very lonely when you cannot express to a family member why you are so terribly sad. My daughter called me this morning and asked how I was feeling. I began to tell her how I was feeling, but then it hit me.

My daughter only listens to CNN, just as my sister does. And since they only hear what the commentators say on CNN, and believe it – all of it – and they are not told things which would put the Left in a bad light; it hit me that she and my sister are living in a different world.

I told my daughter about the Jews for Trump in NYC who were attacked by haters of Trump. She new nothing about this. Then it really hit me. The media had brainwashed my daughter and my sister. This is exactly how Trump Derangement Syndrome came about.

But this is their game plan. This is what they are told to do and say by the powers that be. The Leftist Media is the journalistic arm of the Marxist/Communist party, formerly known as the Democratic Party.

I feel moved to place a short video in this article which I have published before. It is a video of a former KGB operative who sought asylum in Canada (now deceased) warning America of what was happening within her.

Calculated and so well planned; it was what Nikita Khrushchev brazenly claimed would bring down the United States from within – without a shot being fired.

And so it did.

But brethren, we belong to the King of the Universe. He is allowing all that is happening. We can’t know why but we must trust Him and know that He makes no mistakes and nothing surprises Him.

“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. Behold, all they that were incensed against thee shall be ashamed and confounded: they shall be as nothing; and they that strive with thee shall perish. (Isaiah 41:10-11).

We are to pray for our enemies. We are to do good to those who persecute us. We are to be in this world but certainly not of it. And most importantly, we are to be Christ-like so that this world will see that we are different. They must see Christ within us.

This is so hard to do at a time like this, but God will give us His strength.
