Reality Check… “US is ‘crumbling,’ God is only hope” (Franklin Graham)

“Thus the Lord was moved by prayer for the land.” 2 Samuel 24:25

With the coming election and now mass hysteria over the passing of Ruth Bader Ginsburg, there is a sense that sanity is spiraling out and the US is foundering about to be swallowed unto the depths of the dark sea.  Some good decent folks think that all our hope rest upon the re-election of Donald Trump, filling the vacant Supreme Court seat, and destroying the left in an electoral bloodbath. While I may share concerns and agree with the urgency of keeping the Marxist from dismantling liberty and freedom, I can not disagree more with the sentiment of “OUR HOPE” affixed to a mortal man or a political institution. If my Hope rest in Donald Trump, then Huston I got a problem! Brethren let’s keep us focused upon the Lord God Almighty and only Him. I CAN NOT state this enough, all this political and social upheaval is a distraction of the enemy (Satan) to steal your peace not just tranquility of peace but total peace (Shalom) only God can provide us.

Do not trust in princes, In mortal man, in whom there is no salvation. Psalm 146:3

Don’t get me wrong, I’m a Trump supporter based on his stances within the issues that my faith and conscious dictate to me. I’m not advocating putting our heads in the sand and sitting idly by as our very liberties are stripped away. I’m advocating to place the Lord first in all your matters and disconnect from the background noise of daily political punditry. For example, I like Mark Levine a lot, but I just can’t listen to him very much. He (as mostly all pundits do) starts off calm and cool and by the end of the segment he is shouting all fired up (not unlike I do).  Ok, I get it. I’m not happy either but, will shaking my fist in passionate anger solve anything? Well, yes, it does. It pries me from worshipping God and placing my trust in Him and His plans and His will for us. Afterall it is Him that truly places our leadership over us.  “It is He who changes the times and the epochs; He removes kings and establishes kings; He gives wisdom to wise men And knowledge to men of understanding. Daniel 2:21

This coming Saturday Franklin Graham will be hosting  Prayer March 2020  He knows our nation is facing a perilous time. He correctly advocates that prayer and supplication to the Lord is the recipe for success concerning the current issue. That the only hope for the human race is found in only one name. The Name of Jesus, which in Hebrew is Yeshua which means Salvation. In a Christian Post interview Franklin Graham nails it on every point asked. He stresses that ONLY GOD is where our hope rest.

Excerpts from christianpost.com interview with Franklin Graham

“I think there’s kind of a boiling point here with many people. We have seen injustice on our streets and some of our communities. The frustration that people aren’t heard, that people are marginalized. It seems that all of this is boiling at the same time,” he said, noting that these tensions are accentuated in an election year where politics often exploit the issues.

Yet no one can solve the spiritual darkness besetting America, he emphasized.

“Republicans cannot fix it; Democrats cannot fix it. Only God can,” Graham asserted.

God and His ways have been removed from government, schools, and in society more broadly when the country needs more, not less of Him, he said, adding that the United States is “crumbling.”

“I don’t see our nation able to go much further unless we repent and call upon the name of Almighty God,” he said.

Asked if he believes that a remnant of praying people exists in the nation and if he has hope for a Great Awakening, the evangelist replied that it’s hard to say.

“For many in the church today, they’re comfortable and a lot of our pastors don’t want to rock the boat,” Graham said. Many will not speak out on hot-button social issues, insisting such topics are “political” when they are moral matters where churches must be bold.

Yet because they have ignored such great sin and the responsibility to speak against it, he doesn’t know if there will be revival.

“I don’t have entertainment; I don’t have music. We are coming to pray, to pray for our country, our leaders. And by starting at one end of the Mall and going to the other it’s an opportunity for us to walk together and to show unity,” he said.

The evangelist went on to explain that though he does not have any hard proof of this, he believes that many Americans are quietly reevaluating what they believe and prioritize, spiritually speaking, in light of the chaotic events of 2020.

“I just sense there is something moving in our country. I don’t believe that our country is going to be spared from God’s judgment. We are not a Christian nation. We are a secular nation and the secularists are wanting to strip God out of everything,” he said.

“Maybe this election could possibly slow that down,” he added, “but we know there’s going to be a one-world system one day. We know that people aren’t going to be able to buy, sell, or trade unless they have the mark of the Antichrist. We know that there will be a great war.”

“We see God’s judgment coming against this earth for the rejection of His Son and we see the Lord Jesus Christ coming back triumphant to establish a new Heaven and a new Earth. We know how the last chapters of history are written.”

“I think we’re kind of in that period of time on God’s clock where some of these things might just be beginning to unfold. To say that we’re not going to be able to reset God’s clock, in the sense where He’s going to change His mind, no it’s written. But He might delay just a little bit.” [source]

Brethren, we must keep our eyes on Jesus and not look at the storm raging all around us. And He said, “Come!” And Peter got out of the boat, and walked on the water and came toward Jesus.  But seeing the wind, he became frightened, and beginning to sink, he cried out, “Lord, save me!” Matthew 14:29-30

While we don’t totally understand why God allows the storm to engulf us, we must trust that He knows what is best for us.  Trust in the LORD with all your heart And do not lean on your own understanding. Proverbs 3:5

“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,” declares the LORD.  “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways And My thoughts than your thoughts. Isaiah 55:8-9

Let us all keep our eyes upon Him and place all our trust in the Lord He will not forget a single one of you that truly seek Him.  And those who know Your name will put their trust in You, For You, O LORD, have not forsaken those who seek You. Psalm 9:10

Regardless of how this coming election pans out, know that it is in the Will and plan of God. That He is your only hope for true peace, and the kingdom of heaven of where our true treasures lie. Even if the worst possible people come into power. Let it not be a source of worry or contention. “For this reason I say to you, do not be worried about your life, as to what you will eat or what you will drink; nor for your body, as to what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? Matthew 6:25

Lastly, please accept this benediction:

The LORD bless you, and keep you;  The LORD make His face shine on you, And be gracious to you;  The LORD lift up His countenance on you, And give you peace. (His Shalom) As my good friend Pastor Jeff Kipp always adds. “The world didn’t give it to you, and the world can’t take it away.”

JOE BIDEN: BLATANT RACIST – Let’s Take a Look Through the Years

It would be one thing if Sleepy Joe simply made a lot of gaffes but underneath it all there was a person to admire.

Well, there is NOTHING to admire about this man – not now and certainly not throughout his political career.

I felt that the best place to capture Biden’s Racism was on YouTube. Let’s take a look.

Seriously, I could simply place this one video and let it stand alone. It speaks VOLUMES about Racist Joe Biden.

Much has been said about the disproportionate number of blacks in jail. Much of this is a direct result of Joe Biden’s 1994 Crime Bill! Just listen to the way he speaks about the black community. It made me cringe.

Tim Scott speaks with Fox News commentators about the racism of Joe Biden in this short video:

More of the same……..

Whoa……..Joe!!

Let’s not forget his Anti Semitism……..

Hannity on the Racism of Biden “40 Years of Failure:

And the beat goes on………

If I placed all of the videos exposing Biden’s Racism, this article would be way too long. But I encourage the reader to look on YouTube about Biden’s racism. You will be shocked.

I thought that this video would be a good one for ending this piece:

Brethren, I think that it is so important for people to know the truth about the candidates.  PLEASE show me even ONE video or article where President Donald Trump spoke words of racism. Don’t bother looking because it’s NOT there.

People with Trump Derangement Syndrome hurl all manner of insults and accusations about Trump. But when you ask them to give you an example – they can’t.  They get so angry but that is because they have nothing to back up their deranged comments.

Before the China Virus, President Trump had our economy where it has not been in decades. He lowered unemployment for everyone, but especially for the black and hispanic communities.

Our president is not perfect and neither are you and neither am I. But he loves our Republic and he loves and defends our Constitution. He grieves over the millions of aborted babies, which is one reason he wants conservative Justices on the SCOTUS.

The Deal of the Century is far from perfect and I do have problems with it. But our Lord allowed that “deal” to be put in place. I believe that it will just further fulfill Bible prophecy.

How Can I Be Saved?

MARANATHA!!

Who Knew? Doctors Are Prescribing Daffodils in Israel!

Strange title – I know. But to get around FB censoring me at every turn, I have had to resort to being creative with my titles.

Facebook and Twitter and other social media platforms have algorithms which spot certain words in titles of articles which they deem dangerous or irresponsible.

The Facebook flunkies take their cues from the powers that be. The software engineers simply do their job, writing algorithms which flag the titles of articles which might anger Bill Gates, Tony Fauci, WHO, CDC and the list goes on………

So, to continue bringing my articles to the brethren during the PLANdemic, please know that when I am speaking of Hydroxychloroquine, I will say daffodils in the title only.

I have written about Hydroxychloroquine, Z-pak and Zinc as a miracle cure for early stage Covid-19. The leaders of the nations were put on these meds but it was told to the masses that this was untrue. It got me in a lot of trouble – banned from my own FB page, etc etc.

My doctor told me he would never prescribe these meds for Covid-19 – not even in early stage.  So I went on a quest to find out how I could get these on my own. I did find out how and me, my husband and grandson (diabetic) have the HCQ, Z-pak and Zinc which we will take if we exhibit early symptoms of Covid 19.

In an article I wrote months ago, I posted an NIH study from this year, which showed conclusively that HCQ was effective against early Covid. Here is the piece:

NIH Study Clearly Shows Hydroxychloroquine With Azithromycin Added Kills Covid 19 – Fauci Knew Since 2005 NO ONE NEEDED TO DIE

Now this will REALLY shock you:

From canadafreepress.com

Israel’s Covid Silence Mystery

Covid And the drug that dare not speak its name– Hydroxychloroquine

Israel congratulated itself on coming through the Wuhan virus pandemic with flying colors. By the end of June, with only 300 plus deaths, we were king of the world. We were allowed to go about our normal daily lives. And then we were hit again. Big time.  The death rate rocketed to over 1,200.

Why? What did we do differently?

We were never given the answer. Instead, they decided to appoint a health technocrat, called him the Projector, gave him the keys to the castle, including budget, ministries, laboratories, hospitals, the health clinics, even the army, to flatten the second curve. The politicians promised to stay in the background.

And so, The Projector turned the country into traffic light zones. Those with the highest infection rate were zoned red and required to be quarantined. Made sense, until it was discovered that the vast majority of the red zones, fully 80%, were either Arab or Orthodox towns.

These places, The Projector said, must be placed in immediate lockdown. Then all hell let loose. Politics reared its inevitable head. Knesset meetings became riots. Factions on which the Prime Minister depended for his support, and those that opposed him, began banging on his door. He did what any politician would do. He threw The Projector’s plan out the window and decreed a national lockdown of three weeks coinciding with the Jewish High Holidays encompassing Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur and Sukkot.

It began on the Friday afternoon before the traditional New Year’s eve to prevent mass family gatherings. But innovative defiant Israelis moved Rosh Hashanah festivities a day earlier and held their family gatherings on Thursday night instead of Friday.

Thousands of Jews rushed to test centers before heading to Ben Gurion Airport and flying from red Israel to green pastures rather than remain in lockdown for weeks. Some booked indefinite one way tickets.

Lots of TV chatter. Lots of ink splashed in pages of news media. Silence about the biggest mystery of all.

Why are more people becoming seriously ill and dying than before?

Why do we now have over 1,200 deaths when, in the peak of the first curve, our mortality rate was just over 300? Why the 400% difference?

It isn’t due to greater testing because people got sick, even without testing, in the first wave.

Officials and pundits talk endlessly about testing, social distancing, lockdown, but little else. They are worried about hospitals and laboratories becoming overloaded with seriously infected patients.

But no one is talking about how to stop early stage sufferers from deteriorating into hospitalization and worse.

Are our local doctors and clinics being allowed to do everything possible to stop early stage patients from becoming hospitalized and dying?

The answer is no. They are not. In fact, these first-line physicians, who have intimate professional contact with their patients, are being prevented from treating them successfully.

Were Israeli doctors prescribing something in the first wave that prevented massive mortality figures they are not prescribing now?

The answer is yes.

Local doctors and clinics are being prevented from prescribing a drug that worked before, but is banned now. The drug that dare not speak its name is hydroxychloroquine.  Medical experts are forbidden on social media to mention its name. Some have been fired from their professional for daring to suggest that this drug, in combination with others, has saved countless lives.

The drug that dare not speak its name is hydroxychloroquine

Now that ban has been placed on Israeli local physicians, and more people are dying.

HCQ is a drug that received global official status use for a number of illnesses and diseases. It has a remarkable sixty-year safety record. Overnight, it became the devil’s potion.

Many hundreds of doctors and thousands of patients who swear to its efficacy when used on early stage sufferers in the right dose and in combination with other medications such as zinc and azithromycin, have been pilloried and banned from expressing their data and from sharing their experiences. Professional physicians, in intimate contact with their private patients, are treated like heretics.

The authorities say HCQ failed late stage clinical trials. They claim it left a few patients with heart irregularities, a claim refuted by many experts, including Dr. Harvey Risch, Professor of Epidemiology at the Yale School of Medicine, who is highly critical about how badly the clinical trials were conducted.

After studying the clinical trials, he concluded, among other things, that they applied the drug incorrectly, even in dangerously high dosages, often not in combination with other drugs, to patients who had little chance of surviving with any drug.

Professor Risch is an ardent advocate for the application of HCQ in combination with other medications to early stage patients, as is Dr. Vladimir Zelenko, an Orthodox American physician, who came up with the Zelenko Protocol which details, for local doctors and clinics dealing with early stage Covid patients, how to prescribe and monitor patients starting in the first five days of contracting the coronavirus.

Hydroxychloroquine was banned for Covid patients by the World Health Organization

Professor Risch records and analyses the successes and failures of treating early stage Covid patients and is convinced in his judgment that HCQ, in combination with other drugs, is a safe and efficient method of preventing the debilitating effect of the coronavirus.

This early stage treatment was pioneered successfully in France by virologist Didier Raoult, who successfully treated hundreds of Covid patients, before he was pilloried as being a quack by Big Pharma.

Hydroxychloroquine was banned for Covid patients by the World Health Organization on the basis of these failed late stage trials. But the WHO recommends paracetamol, a drug that has not undergone clinical trials for Covid patients, and is known to have serious side effects. This is not only hypocritical, but highly suspect. Which begs the question. Why the difference?

This troubling discrepancy was brought home to me when I interviewed Dr. Rob Elens, a local physician with a busy clinic in the south of Holland.

Dr. Elens had an initial twenty-five patients who came down with Covid. They were prescribed with the Dutch health authorities recommendation, namely paracetamol and isolation.

The condition of all twenty-five worsened. All were hospitalized. Twelve of his patients died.

Dr. Elens, a compassionate doctor, was gravely concerned that something better could have saved his patients’ lives. So he did what any self-respecting doctor would do. He went in search of the science and came across the Zelenko Protocol, a tried and tested derivative of several doctors’ experiences in helping their early stage patients get over Covid.

“Drug combination of zinc, HCQ and azithromycin:  “Better illegally alive, than legally dead.”

So, when his next infected patient came along he offered him the choice of the official track or the drug combination of zinc, HCQ and azithromycin. Dr. Elens monitored the patient hourly and was pleased to discover that his patient responded well to the treatment and recovered completely within three days.

The doctor repeated the same medication in the required doses with his next nine early stage patients. All recovered quickly. But when he reported his successful cases to the Dutch medical authorities he received a warning to desist.

In my video “Covid, and the drug that dare not speak its name,” the now defiant Dr. Elens responded by saying of his patients, “Better illegally alive, than legally dead.”

A June comparative study, carried out into Covid-19 patients by the Saudi national fever clinics, concluded that early intervention of a HCQ-based therapy in mild to moderate COVID-19 patients was associated with lower odds of hospitalization, ICU admission and/or death.

Coming back to Israel, a question is floating in our viral air. Are we becoming guinea pigs for vaccine experiments?

Could it be that people are deliberately prevented from recovering early from Covid in order to drive them into the large pool of patients required to be experimented on in critical clinical trials for a potential vaccine?

And could it be that our rapidly rising death rate derive from patients either receiving a placebo or other drugs that are failing in vaccine test trials?

And why, if it is so important to prevent our hospital system from being overwhelmed, are we not having a public conversation on the prevention of a drug that dare not speak its name, but of which so many physicians and renowned specialists swear to its efficacy?

All legitimate questions that demand answers at such a critical time.

. source

Brethren, there are two main reasons why the world was lied to about HCQ.  One – the globalists, including Gates, Fauci and WHO wanted people to die!  They are not just globalists, they are eugenicists. The end game is to get the population of planet earth down to 500 million or less.

Secondly, these bad actors are all tied to Big Pharma. HCQ is cheap. The pharmaceutical companies would not make a killing (pun intended) off of a drug like this.  They wanted people to take Remdesivir or other therapeutics which costs many thousands of dollars per patient.

So there you have it – straight from Israel: “Better illegally alive, than legally dead.”

Oy Vey – I love my people!!

Is The Abraham Accords Peace Agreement Setting the Table for Ezekiel 38?

If you tune out all the noise of the western media, you’ll soon get a sense something big is happening in the middle east. I believe it is possible that the war of Ezekiel 38 will happen prior to the tribulation period spoken of by Daniel and John in  Revelation. The geopolitics of old are falling by the wayside in favor of a new order of normal relations. With the recent Abraham Accords Peace Plan, Arab solidarity over the Palestinian issue is waning in favor of opposition to Iran. I will not be surprised if Saudi Arabia is next to join in.

The tentacles of Iran dig deep into the middle east. Their sphere of influence digs into Iraq, Syria, Lebanon (Hezbollah), and apparently is attempting to bolster up Hamas.  To be sure Iran is hurting economically and internally collapsing. It is in this state that I believe Iran is most dangerous as a wounded bear.

Turkey another chief player in the Ezekiel 38 war. President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has been doing everything possible project Turkey’s dominance into the region not unlike his Ottoman ancestors. If you dig a little deep, you’ll uncover many reports about Turkey’s involvement in Libya and The Sudan (Other players in Ezekiel 38). Albeit they have been setback recently in The Sudan, they nevertheless are still prevalent in Libya. Then we have Russia. Russia needless to say goes without saying. I believe them to be the King of the North. Now that Putin is El Presidente for life, he basically can operate as he wishes. He is in-fact a dictator hidden in plain sight.  They are also losing a lot of rubles over Israel’s extra blessing of natural gas. We do know from Ezekiel that whoever this confederation of nations are, they will be compelled to attack an unprepared Israel.   ‘Thus says the Lord GOD, “Behold, I am against you, O Gog, prince of Rosh, Meshech and Tubal.  “I will turn you about and put hooks into your jaws, and I will bring you out, and all your army, horses and horsemen, all of them splendidly attired, a great company with buckler and shield, all of them wielding swords;  Persia, Ethiopia and Put with them, all of them with shield and helmet;  Gomer with all its troops; Beth-togarmah from the remote parts of the north with all its troops—many peoples with you. Ezekiel 38:3-6

The nations are generally thought to be a confederation of Russia, Turkey, Iran, Libya, Sudan, and a few others. I would urge you to study this for yourself. Using the tables of nations maps in most Bibles, you’ll generally put this together. The Nations are more so agreed upon than the timing of this war (Gog Magog). I believe it could happen at any time as there are no preconditions. Some have it in the tribulation and a minority place it at the end of the Millennial Kingdom instead of there being a second war of Gog and Magog.  I happen to believe it will happen prior to the tribulation but that is my mere opinion.

What is missing here (Ezekiel 38) is mention of the direct neighbors of Israel. Many of these nations seem to be covered in the Psalm 83 war. Many believe that the Psalm 83 war was already fought between 1948 to 1981. This viewpoint does merit attention and could very well be correct. What I find interesting is that there now seems to be a wedge driven between Arab solidarity concerning relationship with Israel.

From the Jerusalem Post:

Palestinian leadership is on a collision course with Arab countries. The Palestinian leadership has placed itself on a collision course with many Arab countries, and the situation may not improve.

Less than a month after the Second Intifada erupted in September 2000, the Arab heads of state held an extraordinary meeting in Nasr City, a district of Cairo.

After the meeting, held at the urgent invitation of former Egyptian president Hosni Mubarak, the Arab leaders issued a communique in which they “hailed the intifada of the Palestinian people in the occupied Palestinian territories” and held Israel “responsible for returning the region to a climate of tension and to manifestations of violence as a result of its practices, its assaults and its blockade of the Palestinian people, in violation of its obligations as the occupying power under the terms of the Fourth Geneva Convention of 1949.”

In response to a proposal by Saudi Arabia, the Arab leaders decided to establish two funds to help the Palestinians. Al-Aqsa Fund, they said, will be allocated a sum of $800 million for “the funding of projects designed to preserve the Arab and Islamic identity of Jerusalem and prevent its loss, and to enable the Palestinian people to disengage from its subordination to the Israeli economy.” The second one, Al-Quds Intifada Fund, was to have capital of $200m. to be allocated for disbursement to the families of Palestinian “martyrs.”

A year later, the Arab leaders held another summit, this time in the Jordanian capital of Amman. As usual, the leaders issued another statement expressing full solidarity with the Palestinians and hailed “with great pride the Palestinian people’s steadfastness and brave intifada in the face of the savage onslaught waged by Israel.”

Although the Palestinians never saw much of the financial aid promised by the Arab heads of state, they were nevertheless encouraged by moral support they received from the Arab world during the intifada. Those were the days when the Palestinians felt that they had the full backing of the entire Arab world and that the Palestinian cause was the central issue of all Arabs and Muslims.

The Palestinians were further encouraged by the widespread support they received from the Arab street. No one in the Arab world dared to criticize the Palestinians, especially not during a time when they were engaged in a violent confrontation with Israel.

“We never had much faith in the Arab leaders, but at least they publicly stood with the Palestinians and strongly condemned Israel,” a veteran PLO official in Ramallah told The Jerusalem Post. “Back then, the Palestinians felt that all the Arabs were with them, and that allowed them to continue with the intifada. We did not feel that we were alone.”

IN 2002, the Arab leaders held a summit in Beirut and announced the Arab Peace Initiative, a 10-sentence proposal for an end to the Arab-Israeli conflict. The initiative calls for normalizing relations between the Arab world and Israel, in exchange for a full withdrawal by Israel to the pre-1967 lines, a “just settlement” of the Palestinian refugee problem based on United Nations resolution 194, and the establishment of a Palestinian state with east Jerusalem as its capital. Former Palestinian Authority president Yasser Arafat immediately embraced the initiative. His successor, Mahmoud Abbas, also supported it.

Some Palestinians saw the Arab peace plan as the turning point in the Arab world’s attitude toward the Palestinian issue and Israel. It was the first time that Arab heads of state had talked about the possibility of normalization with Israel, though they conditioned it on a full Israel withdrawal to the pre-1967 lines and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state.

“The Arab Peace Initiative represented a decline of the Arab position [toward the Arab-Israeli conflict],” noted Palestinian political analyst Hani al-Masri. “The Palestinians identified with the plan despite the concessions it contained.”

Masri believes that the Arab Peace Initiative (also known as the Saudi Initiative) came in the context of Saudi Arabia’s “atonement” for the 9/11 attacks. Fifteen of the 19 terrorists who carried out the attacks were Saudis.

In 2007, the Arab leaders met in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and “reiterated the adherence of all Arab countries to the Arab Peace Initiative” as it was approved by the Arab summit in Beirut five years earlier.

The Riyadh summit came against the backdrop of reports suggesting that some Gulf states were secretly engaged in normalization activities with Israel. The Palestinians were aware of the secret contacts between some Arab countries and Israel, but refrained from publicly denouncing these states so as not to alienate them.

“We saw the rapprochement between some Arab states and Israel, but we decided that it would be a bad idea to attack them,” explained a senior PA official. “We did not want to deepen divisions in the Arab world. In addition, we didn’t want to be accused of meddling in the internal affairs of any Arab country. We did our best to maintain good relations with all the Arab countries, particularly those that were secretly normalizing their relations with Israel.”

In retrospect, the official said, “we may have made a mistake by remaining silent.”

Had the Palestinian leadership raised its voice and made it known that normalization with Israel was a blatant violation of the Arab Peace Initiative, it’s possible that the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain would not have taken a decision to establish relations with Israel, the official added.

“The Palestinian leadership failed to see the writing on the wall,” remarked Palestinian lawyer Khalil Zahran. “By the time the Palestinian leadership woke up, it was too late. The leadership’s strong reaction to the Israel-Emirati deal, meanwhile, has proven to be counterproductive. It was a mistake to accuse an Arab country of betraying al-Aqsa Mosque and the Palestinian issue. Worse, it was a big mistake to send people to the streets to burn pictures of UAE Crown Prince Mohammed bin Zayed.”

By the time the PA leadership realized that its harsh rhetoric against the UAE was fruitless and harmful, it was too late.

First, the Arab League turned down a Palestinian request to hold an emergency meeting to discuss the repercussions of the Israel-UAE accord. When the Arab League foreign ministers held their ordinary meeting in early September, they refused to endorse a Palestinian draft resolution condemning the UAE for its “agreement of shame” with Israel.

Shunned by their Arab brothers, the Palestinians were finally forced to come to terms with the fact that the notion of Arab solidarity has passed away. For the first time in decades, the Palestinians now realize that the Palestinian issue is no longer the central issue of the Arab world. And for the first time in decades, the Palestinians are now fully aware that the Arab world has changed.

“As far as many Arab countries are concerned, Iran, Turkey and the Muslim Brotherhood organization are the real enemy, and not Israel,” said Amjad Shaheen, a prominent activist with the Palestinian ruling Fatah faction. “What’s worrying is that many Arabs are attacking the Palestinians and are saying they are fed up with us and our issue. The Palestinian people feel abandoned and isolated. I don’t think our leadership has a clear strategy how to cope with the new developments in the Arab world.”

Respected east Jerusalem Prof. Sari Nusseibeh believes that the Palestinian leadership has no choice but to make the best of what it has.

“It is incumbent on the Palestinian Authority leadership to transcend whatever feelings and to see if an opportunity has risen,” Nusseibeh said. “I think this has to be studied. Why not ask, for instance, the UAE to push for the kind of solution that the Palestinians have always asked for? Why not ask them to push for things that people have always wanted, such as the release of Palestinian prisoners from Israeli prisons? I believe that one should make best use of what one has.”

The Arab summit resolutions with regard to the Israeli-Arab conflict have failed, Nusseibeh noted. “The support we’ve had from the Arab world over the past two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight decades has not actually borne fruit, as far as the Palestinians are concerned. It is in this light that one should assess the recent agreements between Israel and Arab countries, whether implicit or explicit. Things seem to be sliding back, so to speak. Of course, this causes a great deal of pain for the Palestinians, just as the failure of the Oslo agreement causes a great deal of pain.”

Nusseibeh, who once served as the PLO’s representative in Jerusalem, advised the Palestinian leadership “to try and see if they could use the developing relations between Arab states and Israel to see if they can push forward the peace process.

“Perhaps it is more possible to do this now than it was in the past, when there were no relations [between the Arab states and Israel],” he said. “I think the Palestinian leadership should look into this possibility, in spite of the pain at the sense of being betrayed. In politics, one has to always be on the lookout for what possible opportunity there is to advance the interests of one. In the past, we had an Arab consensus, which was no peace with Israel until there is peace with the Palestinians. If you look at the history of this policy, one can’t but say it has failed. Why be blind to the fact?”

Like many Palestinians, Nusseibeh is disappointed with the Palestinian leadership for lacking a strategy to deal with the new developments in the region.

“One should be expecting changes sometime soon,” he said. “I don’t think [Prime Minister Benjamin] Netanyahu is going to be there forever. On the Palestinian side, there may well be change, and some of the changes may actually not come about in a positive way. What I’m concerned about is that the stalemated position our leadership finds itself in might well put some pressure to bring about change in that leadership. Our leadership is under pressure not only because it has not been moving forward with the peace process, but because the Palestinians in the areas it controls are not happy with its governance. I don’t even discount violent change. Everything is possible.”

Under the current circumstances, it seems unlikely that Abbas and his cohorts in Ramallah are going to listen to advice such as the one offered by Nusseibeh. The Palestinian leadership has placed itself on a course of collision with many Arab countries, and it’s hard to see how Abbas will be able to climb down from the tall tree anytime in the near future. So, there you have it. For years I often wondered how a massive invasion of Israel could be pulled off without the neighboring Arab states piling on.  I guess we can thank the pariah Iran for reshaping the middle east geopolitical sphere. The Arabs and Persians have been at it for thousands of years. And to many of them, their enmity of Persia outweighs their enmity of the Jewish state.

It also appears Israel is going to lock-down again due to Covid-19. I really don’t know how they are keeping their head above water with their economy in shambles and tourism kaput. Israel’s defense spending to GDP most recently reported around 39.50%. Considering How effective the IDF (Israeli Defense Force) is and how state of the art equipped they are, a shortfall in spending will only harm the IDF and their readiness to effectively defend their state.

I think there is a perfect recipe of events falling into place for Ezekiel 38 to unfold. Unprepared Israel. Financially collapsing Russia and Iran, and Turkey’s ambitions, not to mention that all three are operating in proximity in Syria right next door to Israel.

Could we be nearing the Ezekiel 38 war? If so, it doesn’t end well for the invaders as God Himself will thwart and destroy those enemies.  Behold, He who keeps Israel Will neither slumber nor sleep. Psalm 121:4

Nevertheless, as always, Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem. Her King is Coming soon!

Shalom,

Brian
