SHARING THE GOOD NEWS in Comments of Frightening News Articles

As we get closer and closer to the end, did you know that there is a mission field just a click away from you?  And the timing could not be better than right now.

For the last few years, I have felt led by the Holy Spirit to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ in a most unlikely place.

As I read the news each day, I go to “comments” about the article and I ask the readers “Do you know that you will go to heaven when you die?  You can know!”

And then I share “How Can I Be Saved?” from my WordPress.

I’m sure that many people just pass over it, but even if there is one person on that thread who has been searching for Truth amid the evil and violence – and clicks on the link; who knows how the Lord may use this?

If that one person is born again, then certainly it was worth my time to put it in comments.  Also, I pray after I place “How Can I Be Saved?” in the comments. I pray to the Lord that He will use this to draw many to Himself.

Missionaries

Too many of us have it in our minds that being a missionary means traveling to another country.  With the Internet available to us, we can travel all over this sin sick world, and proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ!

When we are Born Again, we become Missionaries.  We were told by Jesus to:

“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:  Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen”  (Matthew 28:19-20). KJV

You might say “But how are we teaching those who read How to be Saved?” We are planting seeds. We pray that someone comes behind us and waters those seeds. Jesus, the Lord of the Harvest, cultivates the seeds which were planted in good soil.

So, it might not be for everyone, but I’m hoping that many will see this as a wonderful opportunity to share God’s Word with the lost!

Sharing Christ in Your Own Neighborhood and even at restaurants:

I have told this story before, but I will tell it once again.  We knew a pastor who would ask the waiter/waitress in a restaurant if there was anything they would like for him to pray about.

We took this pastor out to lunch after church one day, and we watched in amazement as a waitress absolutely lit up and opened up when the pastor asked her if he could pray. He wrote down the prayer request, and at the end of our meal, he invited the waitress to come to our church.

I have often thought about going door to door in our neighborhood, and after introducing myself – asking if there is anything my husband and I could pray about.  My health has prevented me from doing this in the last few years, but this is another idea about sharing the Good News right where you are!

Brethren, time is so short.

Pray about how you can share Salvation with the lost.

Shalom b’Yeshua

MARANATHA!!

  1. Geri – You incisively cover so many aspects of the Amerikan Pravda (fake news) and the Marxist Party (aka Democrats).
A while ago you wrote on Sharia Law in America (I lost reference). Please put something together that specifically shows States and areas with extent of Sharia law in place – and – who, what, where there is a push to do this underway. Please show facts where elected Muslims are driving this. Maybe this could cause the ‘be kind and vote for them so they can be part of the American fabric” uninformed ‘Christians’ to wake up and smell the coffee!!
I promise to forward such a report widely

  3. January 4 on Watch.org the headline reads Jews From Around Globe Pledge to Participate in #JewishandProud Day Initiative on Monday.
I hope you join this Geri. God Bless you, dear Sister.

  4. Amen! And there’s plenty of so called christian websites where they teach Augustine and not Paul where one can witness too.

    Even so… Maranatha!!
