 “Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to such and such a city, spend a year there, buy and sell, and make a profit”; whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away.  Instead you ought to say, “If the Lord wills, we shall live and do this or that.” But now you boast in your arrogance. All such boasting is evil.

 Therefore, to him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin. (James 4:13-17).

When I read that Ms. Evans had passed away, all I could think of was whether, at the very end, she realized that she had not been speaking the truth of the Word of God to her many followers. I pray that she realized this, and that she called out to our Lord in godly repentance at the very end.

Only God knows what happened in the heart of this very young woman before she died.  I have written articles about her and the so-called “Social Justice gospel (SJG).”  I am a writer of truth and I felt that it was of utmost importance to speak against this movement which is as anti-Christian as a person can get.

The Lost World and the Social Justice gospel

I have been reading that the world is embracing the SJG as the “true” Christians, and see us (the remnant) as “haters.”  You see, they will only see God as Love, which He truly is. But they either do not know or they choose to push aside His other attributes: Holy, Righteous and Just.

The SJG cherry-picks the Scriptures which support their doctrines. You will never hear a leader in the SJG movement speak of how homosexuality is an abomination to our God. They also fully support abortion and march with those who scream about a woman’s right to “choose.”  The are on board with transgenderism. These people are also ardent Climate Change supporters.

And let’s not forget that those in the SJG movement are mostly Socialists.

Progressive Christian author Rachel Held Evans, who challenged evangelicals on Trump, dead at 37

Progressive Christian author Rachel Held Evans, who served on an advisory council for faith-based and neighborhood partnerships for President Barack Obama, died Saturday at the age of 37.

Evans, the bestselling author of A Year of Biblical Womanhood, Inspired: Slaying Giants, Walking on Water, and Loving the Bible Again, and Searching for Sunday, was known for her clashes with evangelical Christians. An Episcopalian, she advocated for women in church leadership and the inclusion of LGBT members and against evangelical support of President Trump, among other hot-button issues.

The Dayton, Tenn., resident was hospitalized in April for what she described on Twitter as a combination of the flu and a urinary tract infection along with an allergic reaction to antibiotics she had been given.

Following her admittance to the hospital, she developed seizures and was placed in a medically-induced coma. When doctors tried to bring her off the coma medication, her brain swelled, causing damage her husband described as “not survivable” in an update to a blog post detailing her health struggles.

Her husband, Daniel Evans, with whom she had two children, announced her death on her website.

“This entire experience is surreal. I keep hoping it’s a nightmare from which I’ll awake. I feel like I’m telling someone else’s story,” her husband wrote. “I cannot express how much the support means to me and our kids. To everyone who has prayed, called, texted, driven, flown, given of themselves physically and financially to help ease this burden: Thank you. We are privileged. Rachel’s presence in this world was a gift to us all and her work will long survive her.” source

The real tragedy here is that the work of which her surviving spouse speaks was False teaching.  God will NOT be mocked. And I think that this should be a wake up call to anyone who changes, twists or rewrites God’s Holy Word.

Pray for Rachel’s family. Pray for her millions of followers.

PRAY that the Lord will send true believers into many of their lives and their eyes will be opened to the Truth of the GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST!

    Yes it is truly sad when anyone doesn’t share the complete truth of who Abba Yehovah is and His Yachid Mashiach Yeshua. My bible says “behold both the goodness and the severity of YHVH” meaning if one only talks or writes about His goodness but not his severity (reproof, rebuke, judgment) then one isn’t telling the whole truth. I am truly grateful for His mercy, compassion, lovingkindness, and for the efforts of the Ruach ha Qodesh (Holy Spirit) in continuing His work in my life – both drawing back the prodigal when I strayed into a wilderness of my own making, and leading me into all truth upon returning.

  2. Such a shocking turn of events. This is possibly the first time I’ve seen someone shut down in this way; so quickly and decisively. And, it seems, so mysteriously and unexplainably. Even had she survived, it seems her days of writing and speaking would be over.

    It makes me wonder why so many are still left to spread their false doctrine and blatant twisting of the scriptures.

    1. In the midst of the grief and pain, I am praying that the Lord will draw many followers of Rachel’s false teaching to Himself. I pray for the grief stricken husband and their children. May God open their eyes to TRUTH. Nothing is too difficult for HIM!

  3. Thanks for posting this. First and Foremost, I want to PRAY for the family Mrs. Evans left behind!
    37 is still Very young for her life to end, and I also pray that she repented of her very false doctrines that she put out.That’s sad for the loss that her husband & daughters will now endure.
    And I also want to pray for all of the people that have been deceived by Mrs. Evans teachings. We may never know exactly how many people were deceived by her teachings, but I pray that they will hear the truth somewhere along the line, and have a chance to repent and come to know the True Gospel of Jesus Christ and be saved.
    I have seen a lot of the media’s articles on Mrs. Evans passing, and they are making her out to be such a wonderful, God loving Truthful, modern day Prophet and on & on it goes! With not a single word about how wrong & deceptive her teachings really are.
    We know that there is a reason God does everything, although we will never know why God does what He does while we are here on Earth, but God IS a HOLY, Glorious, Loving , Just & Righteous God, and when we see the full picture, we will fall on our faces in AWE, and Worship Him, and marvel at God’s Wisdom & Righteousness!!

  5. She was a democrat who voted for Hillary ( Killary ) Clinton!! She was NOT a Devout Christian!!

  7. I was so shocked to read this, of the death of Rachel Held Evans. I wrote her about a year ago, trying to share truth with her about certain teaching she was espousing, but She never responded. Sad to hear of this, but right, God will NOT be mocked and anyone who changes, twists or rewrites God’s word should cease and desist. Thanks for the up date, sad as it was.
