Did you know that there are now more “witches” in the U.S. than there are Presbyterians?  There are approximately 1.5 million people who identify as witches in America.

As people are drawn to the dark side, society sees this as “mainstream.” I remember when I was growing up, no one that I knew boasted about being a witch. Maybe they were out there, but most of them remained, along with their broomsticks, in their closets.

Playing Church 

There has always been churches filled with people who like to come together on Sundays.  It’s rather like country clubs but church-style.  They have choirs and Sunday school classes and they even have pantries filled with canned foods for the poor.

My husband and I began to attend one of these churches near our home.  It wasn’t long before I was pegged as a Jesus Freak.  People would look at me like I was a trouble maker.  During that time I developed intense sciatica and soon could not walk.  My husband would push me around in a transport chair.

The pastor of that church was rather new.  We could tell that he was born again. We could also tell that he had a heart to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with this church.  The pastor began a Bible study on Tuesday evenings.  By this time I was almost bed ridden.

I was seeing doctors at Johns Hopkins to find out what was wrong.  They had done four MRI’s and told me that they could not see what would be causing this kind of pain.

Anyway, back to the pastor and the church.  This pastor would come and visit me and my husband. He knew that I was suffering.  He told us about the Bible Study and he said that no one showed up.  He asked if we would like for him to come over on Tuesday evenings and the three of us would have the Bible study.  We said Yes!  We felt it was such a blessing.

One time when Pastor Jerry came over, he opened his heart to us. He asked if we would pray for him and for those in the church. He said that he could not get through to this congregation about the Gospel.  They did not want to hear about sin and repentance.

We did pray for Pastor Jerry and for the congregation, but finally the pastor moved on to another church. It was a very sad situation for everyone.

As far as my pain, one night I was screaming because of the horrific pain and my husband insisted on taking me to the local hospital ER.  The doctor wanted to do an MRI. I told her that I had 4 MRI’s in the past six months and they could not find anything.

She still insisted and they found a 9 mm synovial cyst wrapped around my S1 nerve root and around my spine.  Hopkins had missed this completely. I was scheduled for surgery with a neurosurgeon and he removed the cyst and I could walk again – pain-free.    But I digress…….

The Great Apostasy

God made Adam and Eve in His image. When they sinned against God,  they were sent out of the Garden of Eden. Satan had deceived Eve and she ate from the one tree which God had forbidden.  Adam ate too.  And the rest, as they say, is history.

Because we were made in God’s image, we are spiritual beings.  God’s plan for us was to commune with Him and walk with Him and love Him. When people do not fill that spiritual void inside of them with God – when they do not believe God’s Word, they go elsewhere to attempt to be fulfilled.

But God put that void inside of us for Him to fill.  Anything else would be counterfeit and harmful to us.  But Satan entices people all the time.  I can hear his whispers:  “God just doesn’t want you to have fun. Don’t listen to those Jesus Freaks!   Take Yoga…….meditate.  All of these practices will help you to relax.”

Many of these same people wind up in NAR and Emergent churches. And now the Social Justice False Gospel is very popular.  It makes people feel like they are acting “Christian” and of course they are all inclusive as far as homosexuality, transgenderism and abortion. They don’t want to hurt anyones feelings.  Come as you are and stay that way is their mantra.

Feeling Empty

I believe that after a while in these fake churches, people begin to be restless.  They want something more.  They have been told in the apostate churches that anything goes – they don’t have to believe the Bible.  They are taught that times have changed and that churches should change along with the time.

They are NOT told that God NEVER changes.  His Word NEVER changes.

The Power of Witchcraft

So here we are – a nation founded on Judeo-Christian values – now becoming a nation filling with more and more witches, covens – EVIL is new normal. It doesn’t surprise me that many transgenders are witches.

Witchcraft moves to the mainstream in America as Christianity declines – and has Trump in its sights

Witchcraft is thriving in the US, with an estimated 1.5 million Americans now identifying as witches – more than the total number of Presbyterians. As Christianity declines across the country, paganism has swung to the mainstream, with witchcraft paraphernalia for sale on every high street and practises normalised across popular culture. In the past two years, it has also become darkly politicised.

Dakota Bracciale, a 29-year-old transgender/queer witch and co-owner of Catland Books and witch shop in Brooklyn, is pleased with the outcome of the ritual hex placed on US Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh in October. The curse, carried out from Catland Books, was well attended by witches, atheists ad humanists – and was followed around the country on social media.

Millennials, says Bracciale, are looking for spiritualism outside traditional religion. “The hex centres on the notion that we live in a universe of chaos, entropy, destruction, death, decay with a final ending of oblivion – scientists are telling us. So the witch does everything for themselves – there is no other help in this universe of decay and chaos. If you don’t get in the driver’s seat things will just get worse,” the witch said.

In a wide-ranging discussion with the Telegraph, Bracciale, who described the interview questions as “sensationalist”, talked about political hexes and witchcraft in general.

Bracciale is “absolutely” willing to cause physical harm through a hex – “no issue with that”. And while Bracciale would have been just as pleased with the new Supreme Court Justice’s death, resignation or physical disfigurement, the main goal of the Kavanaugh hex, and the three hexes on President Donald Trump from Catland Books this summer, was to “let them be exposed for who they are – especially as impotent men”. The curse began with a recitation of the Biblical scripture Psalm 109: 8: “let his days be few, let another take his office.”

Catland Books is replete with Christian images including the Archangel Michael, Christian defender against the demonic, and the Virgin Mary. Bracciale, a self-described sexual abuse survivor, who grew up in a born-again-Christian evangelical cult in Arizona, takes umbrage at the notion that witchcraft and Christianity are mutually exclusive. Witchcraft “has a ton of roots in Christianity”, the Brooklyn witch says. Indeed, in Bracciale’s view, the Bible is a spell book, particularly the Book of Psalms.

Witchcraft is powerful, according to Bracciale, because of the “intersectionality of feminism, sexuality, gender, the fight for freedom, eschewing the patriarchy and having sort of a vitriolic response towards it.”   source

Brethren, it is so clear to the Remnant of true believers that we are truly in the end of the end of days.  The convergence of world events which line up exactly with Bible Prophecy shows us how very close we are to our Blessed Hope.

Some days are so hard to make it through.  I feel it, and I talk to many who also feel this.  It is normal to be depressed and sad at times.  Just like in David’s Psalms.  he was so sad and forlorn so much of the time.  But look at the end of even the most sad Psalms – David gives glory to His First Love – His God!

David broke every Commandment and yet God called him a man after His own heart.  This was because David’s spirit would be broken when he realized that he had sinned against God and heaven. He became a broken man whenever this happened, and God restored him every time.

Remember this:

“You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world”   (1 John 4:4).

Witchcraft may be growing in America and the true Remnant of God may be much smaller than people used to imagine.  But we know who we are in Him brethren.  We know why we will go to heaven when we die. We know that it has nothing to do with us, and everything to do with the finished work of Jesus Christ – His death on that Cross and His resurrection from the death.  He conquered death and hell for those who would trust Him and ask Him to be their Savior.
