When Journalism Was Journalism: Those Days Are Long Gone (VIDEO)

In the last few years, I have written many articles about George Soros. This monster has impacted and crashed world economies for personal financial gain, yet he has no remorse. To Soros, the world is a monopoly board on which to play his unscrupulous game of control. His excuse is simply that if he didn’t do this to countries, then someone else would. I suppose his rationale is “It might as well be me.”
As a teenager, he helped the Nazis to confiscate the wealth of his own people, the Jews, and ultimately round them up to board them on trains bound for the death camps. Again, he says that he has no guilt – no shame; if he didn’t do this to his people, then someone else would.
But this article is not so much about George Soros as it is about the days when journalists had integrity, and their jobs were to report the truth to the public. I remember as a young woman watching 60 Minutes. To me, it was an interesting and informative show. They exposed scandalous individuals, no matter how rich or what their political affiliations might be; the job of the 60 Minutes interviewer was the story, and getting it right.
But today most TV networks and cable news shows are propaganda machines. They have been bought by the Leftists Elites, and they do as they are told. The video you are about to watch is from 1998. It is an honest interview with George Soros from 60 Minutes. The news media were not fearful of exposing this man, warts and all.
How the world has changed in these last days! You can look up George Soros on the internet and most likely the websites offered up by the biased search engine will be Left Wing. The articles you will read speak of Soros as an humanitarian; a philanthropist – an honorable man.
We should never forget that our battle is not against flesh and blood!
“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places” (Ephesians 6:12).
Here is an excerpt from a recent article in the NYTimes on Soros:
From nytimes.com
“As a Holocaust survivor, a successful financier who embraces free market capitalism and a philanthropist who champions liberal democracy, George Soros should be a darling of the Israeli establishment. But Mr. Soros has failed the only litmus test that seems to count for Israel’s current leadership: unconditional support for the government, despite its policies of occupation, discrimination and disregard for civil and human rights.”
The rabid hatred that the Leftists at the NYTimes have for Israel prompted them to write these ridiculous lies about the monstrous George Soros.
A Holocaust survivor? A man who embraces free market capitalism? A philanthropist who champions liberal democracy? He should be the “darling” of the Israeli establishment?
NO. He is none of these things, and Israel is right to have utter disdain for this man!
I do hope that the reader watched the video from 1998, and compared it to the blatant lies and propaganda in the NYTimes piece. It is not a subtle difference. It is as different as night and day.
I thank the Lord every day that we now have a president who loves Israel.
The Left just didn’t see this coming…..

Can We Talk? A Message From a Jewish Believer In Yeshua

I remember my parents telling me that a non Jew should not tell Jewish jokes. They told me that it was offensive and bordered on Anti-Semitism. But when Jews tell Jewish jokes – OY! …. now that’s funny!
I only say this because the message of this article contains information about the mystical teachings of today’s Jews and even as far back as before the time of Christ. I love my people. But for the sake of those who are caught up in Hebrew Roots, I felt that I had to expose these teachings. What you will find in this piece will help you understand the anger that our Lord Jesus had for the Pharisees. Many Scriptures will come to life – many that you never quite understood will make complete sense to you.
I thought a lot about this before deciding to write this article. My readers know of my love for Yeshua (Jesus) and for the Bible, which is penned by men under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. In other words, God Himself wrote the Scriptures. Isn’t that incredibly wonderful? We can fully trust the Bible because each word is God-breathed.
The Old Testament
As a child in the synagogue, we only read from the Old Testament. Many Jews call the Old Testament the “Tanahk”
From spiritualforam.org
What is the difference between the Tanakh, Talmud and Old Testament of the Bible?
“The Tanakh is the appropriate name for Hebrew scriptures. It is arranged differently than in Christian Bibles. The word comes from the three sections.
Torah – The first five books aka Pentateuch: Genesis (Bereshit), Exodus (Shemot), Leviticus (Vayikrah), Numbers (Bamidbar), and Deuteronomy (Devarim)
Nevi’im – The Prophets. The list doesn’t necessarily match who Christians regard as prophets: Joshua, Judges, I Samuel, II Samuel, I Kings, II Kings, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Hosea, Joel, Amos, Obadiah, Jonah, Micah, Nahum, Habakkuk, Zephaniah, Haggai, Zechariah, and Malachai
Ketuvim – The Writings: Psalms, Proverbs, Job, Song of Songs, Ruth, Lamentations, Ecclesiastes, Esther, Daniel, Ezra, Nehemiah, I Chronicles, and II Chronicles.
Some of the books differ between Judaism and Christianity as to what was included or left out from each book

Talmud is the central text of Judaism. It’s the rabbinical discussion of the Tanakh and Jewish law, customs, philosophy, etc. It covers centuries of thought. – source (emphasis added).
The Torah vs. Talmud
From aish.com (A Kabbalah supporting Jewish ministry)
(My commentary will be indented in blue)
Torah versus Talmud?
Question:
I’m hoping that you can clarify a few terms that are not clear for me. What is the difference between Torah, Talmud, Mishnah, Gemara and Midrash. If the Bible is the written law, then is the Midrash the commentary?
I went to Hebrew School and had my Bar Mitzvah, but they never explained any of this to me. I’m drowning in a sea of unfamiliar terminology. Please help!
The Aish Rabbi Replies:
The first thing to know is that the Torah consists of two parts: The Written Torah, and the Oral Torah.
No, this is false. The Torah consists of ONE part: The Written Torah. The so-called “Oral Torah” is merely the thoughts and musings of Rabbis through the ages. And do you think that Satan would sit by and not twist and pervert the lofty teachings of the rabbis? Remember when Jesus was in the wilderness with the devil? The evil one would tempt Jesus with his own version of the Word of God. How did Jesus respond each time? He would start by saying “It is Written”……and then He would speak pure Scripture to shut down the devil.
The Written Torah totals 24 books, including the Five Books of Moses and the prophetic writings – e.g. Isaiah, Jeremiah, Psalms, Proverbs, etc.
The Five Books of Moses – comprised of Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy – was written down by Moses in 1273 BCE, and includes all 613 commandments (mitzvahs).
Perhaps part of the reason for your confusion is that the Five Books of Moses has many names. It is referred to as the Bible (meaning “book” in Greek), the Chumash (Hebrew for “fifth”), the Pentateuch (Greek for “five scrolls”), or generically “Torah” – Hebrew for “instructions,” because its purpose is to instruct. (Jews consider it insulting to call it the Old Testament, as this implies a New Testament, which Jews reject.)
But whatever the name, it refers to the best-selling, longest-running book in the history of mankind.
At last! Truth.
So what is the Oral Torah? Its name derives from the fact that it was not allowed to be formally written down but had to be taught orally. It contains the explanations of the Written Torah. One cannot be understood without the other.
FALSE. The written Torah, just as the rest of the Bible, was written under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. What better teacher than Him? The written Torah is Absolute Truth. God does not change. His Word does not change. The thoughts and opinions of men are subject to personalities, upbringing, what they were taught, and other factors, which leaves the “Oral Torah” greatly vulnerable to errant teaching.
In 190 CE, persecution and exile of the Jewish people threatened the proper transmission of the Oral Torah. Therefore, Rabbi Yehudah HaNasi compiled written notes on the Oral Torah called the “Mishnah” (Hebrew for “teaching”). Rabbi Yehudah arranged the Mishnah into six sections: Laws of Agriculture, Festivals, Damages, Marriage, Purity, and Offerings. Rabbi Yehudah wrote the Mishnah in code form, so that students would still require the explanation of a rabbi – since this information was meant to remain oral.
Do you see that even after this Rabbi arranged the “Mishnah” in order to better explain the Scriptures to students; this was written in “code” so that all students (present and future) would rely ONLY on the rabbis and teachers. We could compare this to Roman Catholicism – for centuries, Catholic priests instructed their people not to read the Bible for themselves. They were told that it is too complex for them to understand, and that they should come to a priest with any questions.
In 500 CE, the Jewish people again suffered an uprooting of their communities, and two Babylonian rabbis – Rav Ashi and Ravina – compiled a 60-volume record of rabbinic discussions on the Mishnah, called the “Gemara.” Together, the Mishnah and Gemara comprise what is commonly called the “Talmud.”
The Talmud is what the Kabbalists from ancient times right up to today use for instruction. These Kabbalist leaders do not rely on the Written Word of God – only on men’s opinions regarding just what the Bible is ‘attempting’ to say. Obviously, they feel that their own interpretations of God’s Word is what people need. The Pharisees taught from Talmud instead of the Written Word, which is why Jesus said to them:
“You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it. But Because I tell the truth, you do not believe Me. Which of you convicts Me of sin: And if I tell the truth, why do you not believe Me: He who is of God hears God’s words; therefore you do not hear, because you are not of God” (John 8:44-47).
And this passage of Scripture clearly shows why God wants His children to read His written Word:
“These things I have written to you concerning those who try to deceive you. But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him” (1 John 2: 26-27).
The Oral Torah also includes the Midrash, an explanation of the Written Torah, comprising both ethical and legal components. Much of this material is also contained in the Talmud.
The Oral Torah also includes the works of Kabbalah, a tradition of mystical secrets of the metaphysical universe received by Moses at Mount Sinai. It was first published as “The Zohar” by R’ Shimon bar Yochai (170 CE), and elucidated by the Arizal (1572 CE).
Moses received the Ten Commandments from God on Mount Sinai – NOT mystical secrets! I hope that the reader is beginning to understand the righteous anger which our Lord Jesus had toward the Pharisees. Although they had the entire “Tanakh” they taught from their own words – not God’s.
Don’t you wish that you could have heard the Lord Jesus speaking to the leaders of the synagogue when he was only 12 years old? They must have been astounded at His knowledge – and enraged!
Torah is not to be regarded, however, as an academic field of study. It is meant to be applied to all aspects of our everyday life – speech, food, prayer, etc. Over the centuries great rabbis have compiled summaries of practical law from the Talmud. Landmark works include: “Mishneh Torah” by Maimonides (12th century Egypt); “Shulchan Aruch” by Rabbi Yosef Karo (16th century Israel); “Mishnah Berurah” by the Chafetz Chaim (20th century Poland).
I hope this helps solve your confusion. Now only one thing remains – to go out and learn the entire Torah! – source
In other words, go and sit among the scribes and leaders of your synagogues to learn about God; when they should be saying – “Read the Written Word of God, and He will quicken to your heart and spirit the meaning of His Words!”
The love for the Jews and Israel
Since I was saved in 1983, it has warmed my heart that born again believers have an abiding love for my people. They know that the Bible was written by Jewish men through the ages; these men were under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. They know that the Messiah of the entire world (Yeshua) came through the lineage of the Jews. This is the reason that Satan has persecuted and slaughtered my people for thousands of years.
But it is worrisome to me when the love of Israel and the Jews draws many into the false teaching of Hebrew Roots. These “Hebrew Roots” followers need to understand that so many of the traditions and customs of my people are mystical; they need to know that so many of my people are practicing this terribly evil mysticism. Many of the well known Hebrew Roots teachers are themselves practicing Kabbalah and are leading those who follow them into the practice of Evil.
The reason for me writing the last few articles about Kabbalah and Talmud teachings is that I want the Christian community to understand these things. I hope and pray that I have articulated the truth to the reader. Perhaps you have a friend who is deeply into Hebrew Roots, and has no idea about Kabbalah and its satanic origins.
“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.
Because you have rejected knowledge,
I also will reject you from being priest for Me;
Because you have forgotten the law of your God,
I also will forget your children” (Hosea 4:6).
The Time of Jacob’s Trouble
As children of God, we know that a time is coming when God deals with Israel for the purpose of their redemption. During this time, the focus of our Lord will be entirely on Israel. Although this will be an incredibly horrific time in the history of the world, it is part of the plan of God to finally open the eyes and hearts of His people Israel.
They will know that Yeshua was and is their Messiah. They will know that they missed the time of their visitation.
Shalom b’Yeshua

Hasidic Judaism, Rabbi Kaduri And the Shocking Truth About These Mystics

Having searched for the truth about God most of my life, I came to some conclusions as a young girl, which were completely false.. I was always searching for Jesus and who He really was; as I was told in our synagogue that he was not the Messiah for whom my people were waiting. We were also told that his disciples stole his body in the night and moved it, so that people would be convinced that He rose from the dead.
The hunger to know the truth about this man who changed history continued to the day in 1983 when I met my Messiah Yeshua. When the Christian couple shared with me about sin and repentance and how Jesus loved me and died for me, there was no doubt in my mind that this was the truth for which I had been searching for decades.
My first false belief
When I was in my early teens, I had come to the conclusion that the Catholics were the holiest people. After I was born again, God gave me discernment to see that this was a superficial holiness. They were much like the Pharisees – dressed in long flowing robes and looking for the approval of men. They cared not for approval from God; their hearts were far from Him.
As I studied the Word of God, I came to realize that the Catholic Church was a “works-based” religion, nothing about being saved by Grace through faith. I concluded that Catholicism did not represent true Christianity.
Hasidic Jews
When I was in our Conservative synagogues’s youth group, they planned a trip to New York City to visit a community of Hasidic Jews. I had seen these people before, close to where I grew up. They wore black hats and clothes; long side curls (peyot) and they always walked to their synagogue on the Sabbath day.
In my mind I was convinced that the Hasidim were the Ultra-Orhodox Jews. Again – the most holy. In my research of Kabbalah, God revealed the shocking truth about the Hasidim to me.
I remember during that youth group trip, having a feeling of dread whenever we visited the community. I didn’t know why I was feeling this way. I thought perhaps because they were so holy and so close to God that maybe I was feeling inferior or maybe I was not a Jew at all. What I am about to reveal to the reader about Hasidic Judaism will clearly explain why I had such dark feelings when I was around these people.

Chasidim (Hasidism) and Mitnagdim
In the 1700s, the first of the modern movements developed in Eastern Europe. This movement, known as Chasidism, was founded by Israel ben Eliezer, more commonly known as the Baal Shem Tov or the Besht. Before Chasidism, Judaism emphasized education as the way to get closer to G-d. Chasidism emphasized other, more personal experiences and mysticism as alternative routes to G-d.
Chasidism was considered a radical movement at the time it was founded. There was strong opposition from those who held to the pre-existing view of Judaism. Those who opposed Chasidism became known as mitnagdim (opponents), and disputes between the Chasidim and the mitnagdim were often brutal. Today, the Chasidim and the mitnagdim are relatively unified in their opposition to the liberal modern movements. Orthodoxy and even the liberal movements of Judaism today have been strongly influenced by Chasidic teachings.
Chasidic sects are organized around a spiritual leader called a Rebbe or a tzaddik, a person who is considered to be more enlightened than other Jews. A Chasid consults his Rebbe about all major life decisions.
Chasidism continues to be a vital movement throughout the world. The Lubavitcher Chasidim are very vocal with a high media presence (see their website, Chabad.org), but there are many other active Chasidic sects today. For example, Breslov, Satmar and Bobover. –source

The Rabbi, the Note and the Messiah
A few years ago, a story came out of Israel about a rabbi, Yizhak Kaduri, who claimed that it was revealed to him the name of the coming Messiah of Israel. As soon as I read this story, the Lord gave me the discernment to see that it was evil and not from Him.
From the website:
“A few months before he died, one of the nation’s most prominent rabbis, Yitzhak Kaduri, supposedly wrote the name of the Messiah on a small note which he requested would remain sealed until now. When the note was unsealed, it revealed what many have known for centuries: Yehoshua, or Yeshua (Jesus), is the Messiah.
With the biblical name of Jesus, the Rabbi and kabbalist described the Messiah using six words and hinting that the initial letters form the name of the Messiah. The secret note said:
Concerning the letter abbreviation of the Messiah’s name, He will lift the people and prove that his word and law are valid.
This I have signed in the month of mercy,
Yitzhak Kaduri
The Hebrew sentence (translated above in bold) with the hidden name of the Messiah reads:
Yarim Ha’Am Veyokhiakh Shedvaro Vetorato Omdim
ירים העם ויוכיח שדברו ותורתו עומדים
The initials spell the Hebrew name of Jesus יהושוע . Yehoshua and Yeshua are effectively the same name, derived from the same Hebrew root of the word “salvation” as documented in Zechariah 6:11 and Ezra 3:2. The same priest writes in Ezra, “Yeshua (ישוע) son of Yozadak” while writing in Zechariah “Yehoshua (יהושוע) son of Yohozadak.” The priest adds the holy abbreviation of God’s name, ho (הו), in the father’s name Yozadak and in the name Yeshua.
With one of Israel’s most prominent rabbis indicating the name of the Messiah is Yeshua, it is understandable why his last wish was to wait one year after his death before revealing what he wrote.
When the name of Yehoshua appeared in Kaduri’s message, ultra-Orthodox Jews from his Nahalat Yitzhak Yeshiva (seminary) in Jerusalem argued that their master did not leave the exact solution for decoding the Messiah’s name.
The revelation received scant coverage in the Israeli media. Only the Hebrew websites News First Class (Nfc) and Kaduri.net mentioned the Messiah note, insisting it was authentic. The Hebrew daily Ma’ariv ran a story on the note but described it as a forgery.
Jewish readers responded on the websites’ forums with mixed feelings: “So this means Rabbi Kaduri was a Christian?” and “The Christians are dancing and celebrating,” were among the comments.
Israel Today spoke to two of Kaduri’s followers in Jerusalem who admitted that the note was authentic, but confusing for his followers as well. “We have no idea how the Rabbi got to this name of the Messiah,” one of them said.
Yet others completely deny any possibility that the note is authentic.
In an interview with Israel Today, Rabbi David Kaduri, 80, the son of the late Rabbi Yitzhak Kaduri, denied that his father left a note with the name Yeshua just before he died. “It’s not his writing,” he said when we showed him a copy of the note. During a night-time meeting in the Nahalat Yitzhak Yeshiva in Jerusalem, books with Kaduri’s handwriting from 80 years ago were presented to us in an attempt to prove that the Messiah note was not authentic.
When we told Rabbi Kaduri that his father’s official website (www.kaduri.net) had mentioned the Messiah note, he was shocked. “Oh no! That’s blasphemy. The people could understand that my father pointed to him [the Messiah of the Christians].” David Kaduri confirmed, however, that in his last year his father had talked and dreamed almost exclusively about the Messiah and his coming. “My father has met the Messiah in a vision,” he said, “and told us that he would come soon.”
Kaduri’s Portrayal of the Messiah
A few months before Kaduri died at the age of 108, he surprised his followers when he told them that he met the Messiah. Kaduri gave a message in his synagogue on Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement, teaching how to recognize the Messiah. He also mentioned that the Messiah would appear to Israel after Ariel Sharon’s death. (The former prime minister is still in a coma after suffering a massive stroke more than a year ago.) Other rabbis predict the same, including Rabbi Haim Cohen, kabbalist Nir Ben Artzi and the wife of Rabbi Haim Kneiveskzy.
Kaduri’s grandson, Rabbi Yosef Kaduri, said his grandfather spoke many times during his last days about the coming of the Messiah and redemption through the Messiah. His spiritual portrayals of the Messiah—reminiscent of New Testament accounts—were published on the websites Kaduri.net and Nfc:
“It is hard for many good people in the society to understand the person of the Messiah. The leadership and order of a Messiah of flesh and blood is hard to accept for many in the nation. As leader, the Messiah will not hold any office, but will be among the people and use the media to communicate. His reign will be pure and without personal or political desire. During his dominion, only righteousness and truth will reign.
“Will all believe in the Messiah right away? No, in the beginning some of us will believe in him and some not. It will be easier for non-religious people to follow the Messiah than for Orthodox people.
“The revelation of the Messiah will be fulfilled in two stages: First, he will actively confirm his position as Messiah without knowing himself that he is the Messiah. Then he will reveal himself to some Jews, not necessarily to wise Torah scholars. It can be even simple people. Only then he will reveal himself to the whole nation. The people will wonder and say: ‘What, that’s the Messiah?’ Many have known his name but have not believed that he is the Messiah.”
Farewell to a ‘Tsadik’
Rabbi Yitzhak Kaduri was known for his photographic memory and his memorization of the Bible, the Talmud, Rashi and other Jewish writings. He knew Jewish sages and celebrities of the last century and rabbis who lived in the Holy Land and kept the faith alive before the State of Israel was born.
Kaduri was not only highly esteemed because of his age of 108. He was charismatic and wise, and chief rabbis looked up to him as a Tsadik, a righteous man or saint. He would give advice and blessings to everyone who asked. Thousands visited him to ask for counsel or healing. His followers speak of many miracles and his students say that he predicted many disasters.
When he died, more than 200,000 people joined the funeral procession on the streets of Jerusalem to pay their respects as he was taken to his final resting place.
“When he comes, the Messiah will rescue Jerusalem from foreign religions that want to rule the city,” Kaduri once said. “They will not succeed for they will fight against one another.” – source
Brethren, is it not clear that this “message” to Rabbi Kaduri was NOT from God, but from the evil one? Would our Messiah not know that he is the Messiah?
A sister in Christ and fellow writer, Cynthia Nuara, wrote a piece for Rapture Ready about the “Rabbi who found Messiah.” I believe that she brilliantly articulates the truth about this great deception:
