In 2010, I read the book entitled “Son of Hamas” by Mosab Hassan Yousef.  It is the kind of book that one just cannot put down. It chronicles the life of Mosab, born in Ramallah to the leader of Hamas.  Mosab  became an undercover agent for the Mossad in Israel – saving many lives.

While in Jerusalem, Mosab had been approached numerous times by Christians. They invited him to attend their Bible study.  He finally decided to go, and Mosab became a Christian, turning his back on Islam! He said that the Scripture which made him realize that Jesus was truly the Lord was this:

 ^“But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you” (Matthew 5:44).

I met this brave man when he had a group on FB. We became friends.  He sought asylum in America because if he returned to his hometown, it was certain death for him.  He was granted asylum and those of us who belonged to his group were overjoyed.

He told me that he and some others were to be honored at a dinner on Capitol Hill. He sent tickets for my husband and I to attend. It was so wonderful meeting this larger than life hero.

Exclusive Interview:  “Son of Hamas”: The speaker who shocked the UNHRC”

There is a huge difference between Israeli and Palestinian leaders,” says Mosab Hassan Yousef, the video of whose speech at the UNHRC went viral, in an interview with Dr. Manfred Gerstenfeld.

“Hamas, which I know well, is an ideological political organization that views extreme violence as a means to achieve its political ends. In the 21st century an individual or group that tries to achieve its goals by violent means should not be legitimized by anybody. In my definition, Hamas is a terror organization.

“I have seen how radically different the behavior of democratic Israel is from that of Hamas and Fatah. Hamas is still living in the 7th century, something Europe cannot even understand. Over the years I have realized that due to their religious views, Hamas cannot make peace with Israel. Their interpretation of Islam requires that cease fires alone are possible with infidels, not peace. Such a cease fire can last no more than 15 years. No political solution will ever satisfy Hamas in the long term. It is not about borders but who believes in their God and who does not. Hamas’ target is not just Israel, but for Islam to gain control over all non-believers.”

Mosab Hassan Yousef was born in 1978 in Ramallah, son of Sheikh Hassan Yousef, a founder of Hamas. After involvement in anti-Israeli activities he was arrested by the Israeli Shin Bet security service. When he was imprisoned he initially decided to become a double agent. After  he saw the huge difference in behavior between Israel and Hamas he served as a key agent of the Israeli security services and continued to act in that capacity for ten years.

Yousef’s story is described in the 2010 bestseller, “Son of Hamas, A Gripping Account of Terror, Betrayal, Political Intrigue, and Unthinkable Choices” which has been translated into many languages. The movie “The Green Prince” which tells his story was released in 2014. Yousef converted to Christianity and now lives in the United States where he was granted asylum in 2010.

This interview was carried out on 27 September 2017, two days after Yousef spoke –– under the auspices of UN Watch — at the United Nations Human Rights Council in Geneva. The video of that speech received millions of  hits. In our conversation he repeated several of the statements he made at the UNHRC.

Yousef quoted what he had said about the PA at the UNHRC: “In fact, the Palestinian individual and their human development is the least of your concerns. You kidnap Palestinian students from campus and torture them in your jails. You torture your political rivals. The suffering of the Palestinian people is the outcome of your selfish political interests. You are the greatest enemy of the Palestinian people.”

Yousef remarked: “I have often said that the Israelis care more about the Palestinians than the Fatah or Hamas leadership.” He added: “I do not believe that the violent Palestinian struggle is justified.”

In another meeting in Switzerland he pointed out that neither Hamas nor Abbas has an interest in ending the conflict since maintaining it allows their organizations to receive billions of dollars.

On the wider issue of Islam Yousef said: “I was born a Muslim, it was not my choice. Islam has an ambitious dogma which contains violence.  With that violence I totally disagree. Murder in the name of Allah is a wider Islamic problem which Western societies do not sufficiently realize. Western political correctness is conducive to Islamic terror. I do not want Islam to collapse, but to reject violence in our days. I believe that a new generation of Muslims must be educated to know love instead of hate.

“The Palestinian people are very tired. They have been misled… with false hopes of state borders, It is time for the Palestinian people to finally realize that Israel is a reality and its security in the region cannot be compromised.

“I decided to convert to Christianity, a religion which is seen negatively by Muslims. Christianity helped me to love the other. Israel and the West love life, Hamas and Fatah glorify death. That is another reason why it is so hard to negotiate. How does one find a common interest when coming from such different value systems?

Concerning peace between Israel and the Palestinians Yousef says: “The Palestinian people are very tired. They have been misled by Palestinian leaders with false hopes of state borders, independence and self-determination. It is time for the Palestinian people to finally realize that Israel is a reality and its security in the region cannot be compromised.

“Palestinians need to start thinking about priorities. Is a political goal really their main priority? If they choose to be fooled by their leadership their fate will be continued suffering, pain and misery. The priorities can also be non-political: developing their economy, working for better education, increased individual rights, improved health and upgraded infrastructure. For that to happen the Palestinian people would have to become pro-active.

When asked whether he will form a movement Yousef laughed and said: “I am not thinking of starting a movement nor do I belong to any organization. I am an individual who does not represent anyone. I thus speak on my own authority which is based on my own experience. – source

Have you ever had a time in your life when you just couldn’t stop the tears from flowing?

I felt that the Lord wanted me to write directly from His Word.  He made us, and so He made our tears:

“You number my wanderings;
Put my tears into Your bottle;
Are they not in Your book?”

(Psalm 126:5)

“Those who sow in tears
Shall reap in joy.”

(Revelation 21:4)

“And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”

(Revelation 7:17)

“For the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne will shepherd them and lead them to living fountains of waters. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”

(Psalm 42:3)

While on a walk with our miniature Golden Retriever, Sadie – I noticed a little Welsh Corgi happily walking towards us with tail a wagging. Sadie and the little lost girl greeted one another – now two tails wagging. The Welsh Corgi only had on a collar but no ID information.

I tried to get her to follow us but she was determined to go her own way. After getting Sadie into our home, I took a leash and rode up to the area where the lost girl had been spotted.  She was no where to be found.

After I drove home, there was  a knock on our door. It was a man who had been outside and spotted me trying to find the pup. He thought that she belonged to us. I explained to him that I was trying to find her so that I could possibly return her to her family. I was concerned that she might get hit by a car. He said that she was going from yard to yard where he lived. I decided to give it one more try.

I parked my car in the area where she had been last spotted.  I got out of the car with a leash, praying that I would find the dog. Then the man who had knocked at our door came out to talk with me. He was soon joined by another very personable neighbor – a lady who was also worried about the little dog.

The man said to me “Aren’t you a writer?”  I replied “I am! How did you know?”

He said that a man down the street had told him.  It turned out that this “man” was a Jewish neighbor who was not exactly overjoyed when I told him that I was a Jewish believer in Jesus. Isn’t it interesting though, that he would tell someone about my writing?

They both asked me what I wrote about. I told them that I was a Christian and that I primarily wrote about Truth from the Bible. I could see by their expressions that this did not delight either of them in any way. But all the time I was thinking and praying in my head that God’s will be done.  I knew that all of this was no accident.

Spotting the Dog

The man had gone into his home. The woman who had come out began talking to me.  But all of a sudden she spotted the dog, who seemed to be hanging out with a dog who resembled a pit bull.  We both approached the two dogs and I was able to get the little girl on the leash.

I soon found out that this had never been about a lost dog

The lady begin to tell me that it was wrong to proselytize and that Christianity put people in a prison.  She told me that she studied Buddhism and Hinduism and that she took Yoga.  All the while, she was the one attempting to make me believe the things she was saying.

I said to her “No disrespect intended, but everything you are saying to me……” then she interrupted me and said “Everything I’m saying to you makes sense?”  I replied “Actually, everything you are saying to me is bouncing off of me. My belief in the Word  of God is part of me, and it’s impossible for me to doubt any of it.”

She was determined to win me to the lies that she believed. I spoke about Jesus and what He had done for us.  She thought it was ridiculous that “God” would become a man.  It was challenging to get a word in edgewise – I kept praying in my mind that God would help me.

She said that a bunch of men wrote the Bible.  I told her that these men were under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit.  She wanted to know the name of my Word Press. I told her. I also told her that the pinned front page shared “How Can I Be Saved?” She asked “By Christ?”  I said yes – He is the only way.

But then I felt strongly that this woman needed proof, and I felt that the Lord was telling me to have her look up the Messianic Prophecies and the fulfillment of most of them by Jesus. I told her that the odds of just a few of the prophecies being fulfilled was very low, but that the fact that hundreds of them had been fulfilled – well that was nothing short of miraculous and the odds against it happening were astronomical.

I realized that we had been talking for quite a while – the little Welsh Corgi was being so patient.  But then we saw a woman walking toward us.  I called to the woman “Are you this cutie’s mom?”  She smiled and said yes.

Then the two woman and the little dog walked away as I got into my car.

Now I don’t presume to know what will happen with any of these people, but I feel strongly that this was a “God” thing, and not some random event.

Would you please pray that the woman will be saved?  I know that I’m praying for her. I am praying for God’s will to be done in each of these people’s lives.

God never ceases to amaze me.

We who belong to Him are so incredibly blessed!

On the Comedy Central show “Broad City” Hollywood shows the world just how much they unashamedly worship Satan. The Pro-Death camp has always been led by the Evil one, but because he is the Deceiver,  this movement was very subtle in the 1970’s.

After the Roe Vs. Wade decision in 1973, women were told in killing mills that “It isn’t really a baby right now. It is only a clump of cells.”  Now, these satanically inspired women brasenly tell the world “My body – my choice.” They would have an abortion right up to the day of delivery. They claim that their consciences are clear.

Some women might have a clear conscience, or better said – they are void of a conscience altogether.  But many women are left feeling empty and lost; always wondering about the life they allowed an abortionist to snuff out.

The scarred women (and men who demanded abortion) have finally come out to tell the world that they regret their abortions every minute of every day.

I am not speaking on a topic foreign to me.  I had an abortion when I was told that if I did not; I would not be welcomed back into my family.  I wrote an article about this experience:

After I wrote this piece, I received over 100 emails from women who believed that God would not forgive them for their abortions. Satan leads them to abort their babies, and then torments these women into believing that God does not forgive nor accept them.  This is a lie from the pit of hell.

Comedy Central Show “Broad City” Celebrates Abortion, Depicts Pro-Lifer Holding “Jesus Hates You” Sign

The opening of the September 20 episode of Comedy Central’s Broad City, titled “Twaining Day,” provided a glimpse into the attitude of today’s pro-abortion feminists and the result was as tragically ridiculous as you might imagine.

Ilana tells the girl, “Your body, your choice – it’s simple,” as she is led to the front door. That worn-out 70s expression never gets old to the people not concerned at all about the body of the unborn baby. And calling abortion “simple” is a slap in the face to so many women hurt by their abortions.

As the two women turn and walk back down the sidewalk, Ilana takes a toke of her joint and blows the smoke into a male protester’s face. She tells him, “You don’t know how much you need that.” Mimicking her, Abbi does the same to a protester on her side of the sidewalk and says, “You need to chill!”

Next, the male protester is munching on a cookie and asking himself, “Why are we doing this?” as a woman protester yells, “What if they had aborted baby Jesus?”- source

I honestly do not know what to say about this kind of evil. I am left shocked and saddened, but almost numb. It is just another sign that this is not our home – not for those of us who belong to God.
