They say a picture is worth a thousand words. I agree.
They say a picture is worth a thousand words. I agree.
I admit it. I have been deceived in a big way, along with the masses. In certain areas, even those of us with the gift of discernment are found wanting in the arena of politics. For some reason, we see our politicians as either conservative or liberal. No gray area- we “trust” because of the words they speak. We forget that the god of this world works through our government to accomplish his evil and chaotic plans.
RINOS and such
We are well aware of many in Congress who give lip service to conservatives, but in reality they show their true liberal colors when it comes time for a vote on moral issues.
We have flagged the “Lindsey Grahams” and “John McCains” and many others we had once trusted to be good stewards of the conservative causes which we deem as vitally important. Alas, these are sinful men – almost all are not saved. It makes me feel foolish that I placed my trust in them.
Smacked in the face by the truth
It is not until we are confronted with reality that we see the extent of deception.
The friendship of George W. Bush and Michelle Obama
Saturday’s dedication of the National Museum of African-American History and Culture brought together the president who signed into law the funding for the museum and the president who was in office during its completion.
But the gathering of the 43rd and 44th first couples also saw the reuniting of two unlikely friends.
Over the past eight years, former President George W. Bush and First Lady Michelle Obama have been seen becoming increasingly chummy. At public events, the two can often be found sitting next to each other, sharing a laugh or lending a hand to hold.
Saturday’s ceremony was no exception. During the event, Obama reached over and grabbed Bush into a hug as their spouses clapped and looked on.
This wasn’t the first time the former president and the current first lady have come together.
They joined hands during a singing of “The Battle Hymn of the Republic” at an interfaith memorial service for the victims of the Dallas police shooting on July 12.
Their friendship seems to have grown deeper after they both attended a commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the historic civil rights march in Selma, Alabama on March 7, 2015.
Bush and Obama sat next to each other and waved to onlookers in the crowd while also sharing smiles.
The bond between the two dates back to the inauguration of President Barack Obama in January 2009. Bush took time to talk with Mrs. Obama and meet her two daughters, Sasha and Malia, during the swearing-in ceremony. – source
Bush Senior endorses Hillary Clinton
George H.W. Bush may have made up his mind about who will get his vote come November.
Kathleen Hartington Kennedy Townsend saw the former Republican president on Monday and was told he would vote for the Democratic presidential nominee, Hillary Clinton, according to reports from Politico and the Guardian. Both reports cite a Facebook post by Townsend, in which she is seen shaking hands with Bush, 92, with a caption that reads, “The President told me he’s voting for Hillary!!” – source
Should this surprise us? George H.W. Bush is a proponent of the NWO and has been at the forefront of globalism for decades. Hillary Clinton is a globalist. Were we also fooled by George W. Bush? Perhaps we have been duped by many for whom we cast our votes.
George Soros and his deep pockets:
They say money talks, and boy oh boy is that ever true in governmental affairs. I believe that well intentioned people who were voted into the Senate and House, were corrupted by the likes of George Soros and his billions of dollars. He has dangled his bribes under the noses of many a good conservative. People are weak because they are unrepentant sinners. How do you think people who serve in our government get rich? Many of these people are now millionaires. They certainly didn’t attain that status through their government salaries!
“For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ” (Galatians 1:10).
“The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the Lord shall be safe” (Proverbs 29:25).
“For they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God” (John 12:43).
“Cease ye from man, whose breath is in his nostrils: for wherein is he to be accounted of ?” (Isaiah 2:22).
“Thus saith the Lord; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the Lord” (Jeremiah 17:5)
So, my brothers and sisters in Christ – We must ONLY trust in Jesus Christ. HE is our Hope – our only Hope.
My thoughts on Trump:
I have always voted. My father instilled that in us – that it was our duty to vote in every election. Being born into a Jewish liberal family, we were expected to vote Democrat. That was a given. But when I met my Lord and Savior in 1983, I could not reconcile the platform of the Democrats with what I was reading in the Bible. I changed my political affiliation to Republican.
I will vote for Donald Trump and I will give you a few reasons why:
We should not fret about who is attempting to trick us in our government. They are but pawns on a chessboard to the God of Creation – our Father. He places kings on their thrones and removes them. NOTHING happens unless He allows it. Everything He allows only furthers His prophetic Word.
Let’s keep our eyes on the Lord and Him only!
