We’ve all heard Conservatives give their reasons for the words and actions of liberals. One radio personality says “Liberalism is a mental disorder.” Rather funny, right? Actually, this is no laughing matter.

I believe that the Word of God clearly shows that liberal minded people are deceived people who are lost in their sins. God has given many of them up to their own lusts and desires.

“Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen” (Romans 1:24-25).

UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL

I have liberal members of my own family.  They taunt me and try to engage me in heated debates. I used to fall for that, but soon learned that it was a trap that Satan placed for me – a pit of sorts – to fall into and then become quite angry. Any opportunity to share the Gospel faded quickly as my flesh got in the way. I am learning to avoid such senseless arguments.

Recently, a member of the family by marriage posted some very disturbing things on her Facebook page. I try not to become paranoid, thinking that posts were meant for my eyes so as to upset me. But on this one particular day, every post was a liberal rant and one was even anti-Semitic.  Oh – she went right for the jugular with that one.

Instead of explaining to the reader about these posts, I thought it would be better to post them here. Let’s start with the Antisemitic one – an article written in the Washington Post by a Muslim:

Two-thirds of the respondents agreed with the proposition that “we should try to keep them out.” (Emphasis mine)

Yes, the comparison between Jewish and Syrian refugees matters

To be sure, the United States was emerging from the Great Depression, hardly a climate in which ordinary folks would welcome immigrants and economic competition. The events of Kristallnacht — a wave of anti-Jewish pogroms in areas controlled by the Nazis — had yet to take place. And the poll’s use of the term “political refugees” could have conjured in the minds of the American public images of communists, anarchists and other perceived ideological threats.”

The Muslim writer goes on with his drivel about America not wanting more Jews to come into our country.  (I will spare you of the rest of his words).

Here is how he ends his article:

“Today’s 3-year-old Syrian orphan, it seems, is 1939’s German Jewish child.” [1] – source

REALLY?  He is comparing the religion of Islam, which we all know has a fundamentalist sect whose goal is Jihad and world domination, with the Jewish people – who have been persecuted for centuries?  WHEN were the Jews ever feared because they were beheading people and mass murdering them?  NEVER.

And please tell me – how many 3 year old orphans have you seen in the many pictures of the so-called Syrian refugees? I have seen mostly able bodied young Muslim men.

MARRIAGE REDEFINED:

Months ago, after the disgusting decision by the SCOTUS to redefine God’s definition of marriage, this same member of my family was posting nothing but articles by other liberals about how WONDERFUL it was that “Love won.” She posted photos of women kissing women and men kissing men. She even posted pictures of half naked homosexuals in parades.

LIBERALS HATE GOD

They will tell you that they are atheists, but I don’t believe that for a minute. They love what He hates – and they hate what He loves.  They know that God is there.

“For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.  Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools” (Romans 1:20-22).

As the title of this article states: Liberalism IS a spiritual problem. These people are lost in their sins and bound for hell if they do not repent and turn to Jesus.

I pray for my family member. God wants me to pray for her – also, it’s hard to stay angry at someone for whom you are praying.

Oh Lord, please help me to be more and more like You. Help me to see these people through Your eyes. After all, You died for them too.
