During an interview on Jan. 24, 2024, an Israeli official, Nir Barkat, a man that some think will replace Benjamin Netanyahu, said:

  • “Jihadists want to kill all non-Muslims. We may be first in line, but we are all in the same line. They call Israel Little Satan, and Big Satan is the US, and everyone else is in the middle.”

Barkat was talking about the fact that Muslims are taught that they have been tasked with converting the world to Islam (even if they must kill all non-Muslims).

He identified three groups of people that Muslims want to kill: 1) The Little Satan (Jews), 2) The Big Satan (U.S. citizens), and 3) All other non-Muslims.

Muslims believe they are at war with these three groups of people, and there can be no peace on earth until all of them are wiped out or forcibly converted to Islam.

Muslims worship on Friday, and some even say after we (the Friday people) destroy the Saturday people (Jews worship on Saturday), we will destroy the Sunday people (Christians worship on Sunday).

Islam is more than a threat to the Jews; it is a threat to every non-Muslim on earth.

Thank God for promising that Israel can never be destroyed.

Barkat added:

  • “We should very, very clearly make sure the Iranians understand that they will not get away with using proxies against Israel and sleep good at night if we don’t sleep good at night.”

He was talking about the fact that Iran is using proxies (at this time, some are calling Iran’s best-known proxies the three Hs of terrorism: Hezbollah, Hamas, and the Houthis).

Iran is financing and arming others, but the three Hs are a particular danger at this time.

Barkat said:

  • “Iran is a legitimate target for Israel. They will not get away with it. The head of the snake is Tehran. My recommendation is to adopt the strategy that President Kennedy used in the Cuban missile crisis. What he basically said then was a missile from Cuba will be answered with a missile to Moscow.”

He was warning Iran (the head of the snake) that payday is coming, and he was suggesting that attacks on Israel by Iranian proxies should be met by attacks on Iran by Israel.

Bible prophecy teachers (even Jewish prophecy teachers) know that the Bible teaches that Russia, Iran, Turkey, and others will attack Israel in the latter years and latter days, and the attack is called the Battle of Gog and Magog (Ezek. 38-39).

Whether Russia, Iran, Turkey, and others attack Israel first or their attack is the result of Israel attacking Iran first is not known, but this is a warning to the head of the snake: Iran’s use of proxies makes Iran a legitimate target for Israel.

Here are recent articles that seem to indicate that history is approaching or has reached the latter years and latter days.

One, concerning a peace treaty in the Middle East, the division of Israel, and the Battle of Armageddon: on Jan. 23, 2024, UN Sec. Gen. Guterres told the UN Security Council:

  • Israel’s conflict with the Palestinians has become a major threat to global peace and security (sometimes translated peace and safety).
  • Israel’s rejection of a two-state solution is unacceptable.

The globalist rejection of the Bible and their desire to establish a godless world government will take the world right into the Tribulation Period.

Two, concerning world government: on Jan. 25, 2024, Prophecy News Watch posted an article by Ben Johnson that originally appeared in The Washington Stand titled “The 7 Most Outrageous Moments of the World Economic Forum” (a globalist meeting Jan. 15-19, 2024).

Here is Johnson’s list of the most outrageous moments (or things the WEF wants).

  • A godless pagan ritual that called upon a shaman to heal planet Earth.
  • A digital ID to track everything you do (including your finances, vaccinations, travel, etc.).
  • A global tax to finance world government.
  • A way to force media (X, Facebook, Internet postings, etc.) to silence sources that criticize the globalist agenda (a way to force others to end freedom of speech so the globalists are not blamed).
  • A way to keep leaders out of office (especially Trump), and to prevent leaders that are in office from interfering with world government (a way to force leaders to do what the globalists want instead of what the people want).
  • Power for the World Health Organization to put restrictions on nations during potential crises or pandemics.
  • Allow a limited amount of pushback.

Three, concerning world government: a reader sent me a short screenshot from a recent J.D. Farag sermon that shows the schedule for dozens of international meetings and a countdown clock that shows how many years, months, days, hours, minutes, and seconds the world has to meet the 17 “Transforming our World: The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development” goals.

The 17 goals went into effect on Jan. 1, 2016, and in essence, they are a plan to transform the world into a world government in 14 years (2016 to 2030 = 14 years).

Four, concerning the surrender of U.S. sovereignty and the decline of America: on Jan 25, 2024, Gateway Pundit posted an article by an unidentified contributor who suggested that the Biden administration has created two Americas: one for legal citizens that are required to obey rules and regulations, and the other for illegal aliens who are not required to obey rules and regulations.

(My opinion: The fact that the Biden administration has different rules and regulations for legal citizens and illegal aliens is undeniable.)

(More: Biden wants members of the House of Representatives to agree to some new laws on illegals entering the U.S. On Jan. 26, 2024, House Speaker Mike Johnson said, “Many of our constituents have asked an important question, “What is the point of negotiating new laws with an administration that will not enforce the laws already on the books? If President Biden wants us to believe he is serious about protecting our national sovereignty, he needs to demonstrate his good faith by taking immediate actions to secure it. He should sign an order right now to end the mass release of illegals and dangerous persons into our country.”)

Five, concerning an increase in the frequency and intensity (like birth pains) of natural disasters at the end of the age: on Jan. 25, 2024, it was reported that some areas of Texas and Louisiana had received a month’s rain in 3 days.

Areas that normally get about 3 inches per month reported 14 inches, 10 inches, etc.

According to the article, heavy rain near the Gulf of Mexico is common, but “experts say climate changeis increasing the severity and frequency ( intensity and frequency) of such heavy rainfall events.”

Six, concerning a rebuilt Temple: last week, I mentioned that a Hamas spokesman was interviewed on TV on Jan. 14, 2024 (it was a video that was played on TV), and the Hamas spokesman seemed to say, “Hamas started the Israel-Hamas war to stop the Jews from sacrificing a Red Heifer and rebuilding the Temple.”

On Jan. 26, 2024, there was a more extensive article, and here are a few points (in my words) about what the Hamas spokesman said:

  • The Hamas leaders believe there is a religious reawakening in Israel that will lead to the destruction of the Al-Aqsa Mosque on the Temple Mount.
  • Hamas attributes this religious reawakening partly to the fact that the Jews now have Red Heifers that can be sacrificed.
  • The spokesman called the teaching about Red Heifers a legend that is rooted in Mishnah texts.
  • Hamas also believes the problem is greater than religious Jews believing a legend.
  • That is because the Israeli government is moving away from its claim to be a secular government; it is becoming more conservative, and it is showing an eagerness to work with the Jews who want to sacrifice a Red Heifer and rebuild the Temple.

The writer of the article pointed out that many Jews (also Christians, including many pastors) do not understand the connection between the Red Heifers and a rebuilt Temple, but many Arabs get it.

(My opinion: The Jews could possibly sacrifice a Red Heifer as soon as Apr. 22, 2024 – Passover on the Jewish calendar – if the Israeli government lets them. To do so will risk a major war. Sacrificing a Red Heifer will produce the ashes, but it does not necessarily mean the Jews will immediately cleanse priests and start rebuilding the Temple. Time will tell, but Apr. 22 will be here in three months.)

(My opinion: Biden’s efforts to remove Netanyahu from office are forcing Netanyahu to rely on the religious parties to hold his government together, and this could increase the possibility that he will permit them to sacrifice a Red Heifer and rebuild the Temple.)

(One more thing: Many religious Jews believe the Messiah will give them permission to rebuild the Temple. Jesus told a group of Jews, “I am come in my Father’s name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive” (Jn 5:43). Some excellent prophecy teachers believe this verse means they rejected the Christ, but they will accept the Antichrist. If this is right, it could mean the Temple will be rebuilt early in the Tribulation Period. That could mean the Rapture is remarkably close.)

Seven, concerning the rise of a godless world government and persecution: a recently unearthed video shows gay atheist, Yuval Noah, a senior advisor in the WEF, saying, “Human rights are just like Heaven, and like God – it’s just a fictional story that we’ve invented and spread around.”

He is saying there are no human rights and there is no God.

Here is a daily update on some of the events related to the war.

Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2024 (Day 110): The fifty-fifth day of the resumed war.

  • In response to Iranian-backed terrorists firing rockets and missiles at U.S. bases in Iraq, U.S. jets struck 3 Hezbollah and other Iranian-backed groups in Iraq.
  • The U.S. struck 2 Houthi sites in Yemen that were preparing to launch anti-ship missiles before the Houthis could fire the missiles.
  • Israel reported that troops found a tunnel about 65 feet deep that connected the northern and southern parts of Gaza. It was investigated and destroyed.
  • Israeli protestors blocked trucks with humanitarian aid from entering Gaza and said they will continue to do so until the hostages are released.

Thursday, Jan. 25, 2024 (Day 111): The fifty-sixth day of the resumed war.

  • Several South African banks and individuals are providing substantial amounts of money to Hamas. South Africa is accusing Israel of genocide at the International Court of Justice. Israel needs to accuse South Africa of genocide for its part in funding the death of Jews and others on Oct. 7, 2023.
  • Israel struck Iranian and Hezbollah forces at an airbase in Lebanon.
  • Israel reported capturing more than 100 Hamas terrorists in the last 36 hours.
  • Amir Tsarfati said Israel has killed or disabled about 60% of the Hamas fighters.
  • According to Israel’s 1979 peace treaty with Egypt, the border between Egypt and Gaza is supposed to be demilitarized, but Israel contends that Hamas is smuggling weapons under the demilitarized zone (which Egypt denies). Israel says it must take control of the border (a violation of the treaty) to stop the flow of weapons to Hamas, and that is creating a rift between Egypt and Israel.

Friday, Jan. 26, 2024 (Day 112): The fifty-seventh day of the resumed war.

  • The UN International Court of Justice ordered Israel “to do all it can to prevent death, destruction and any acts of genocide in its military offensive in Gaza, but stopped short of ordering a cease-fire.” Prime Min. Netanyahu called in a “mark of shame” (on the court) and said, “We will continue to do what is necessary to defend our country and defend our people. Like every country, Israel has the basic right to defend itself.”
  • Israeli protestors blocked trucks with humanitarian aid from entering Gaza for third day in a row.
  • The United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) said it had severed ties with 12 employees suspected of being involved in the Oct. 7, 2023, attack on Israel. The U.S. has notified the UN that it is temporarily pausing funding to the UNRWA until this issue is addressed.
  • Israeli troops are involved in intense fighting at several locations in Khan Younis.
  • Israel’s ambassador to the UN said the UN is weaponized to physically exterminate us (Jews).

Saturday, Jan. 27, 2024 (Day 113): The fifty-eighth day of the resumed war.

  • Netanyahu told the Israeli people, “There is no alternative to total victory over Hamas in the Gaza Strip.”
  • Iran-backed militias launched a drone attack on a U.S. base in Jordan, killed 3 U.S. troops, and injured dozens more. Biden said the U.S. will respond at a time and in the manner of our choosing.

Sunday, Jan. 28, 2024 (Day 114): The fifty-ninth day of the resumed war.

  • Israel is now battling Hamas in south Gaza.
  • Efforts to broker a ceasefire are promising, but serious problems remain.

Monday, Jan. 29, 2024 (Day 115): The sixtieth day of the resumed war.

  • Deadly fighting is raging in Gaza.
  • Two Israeli soldiers were lightly wounded when Hezbollah fired heavy rockets into Israel. The IDF retaliated immediately.
  • At least 12 nations have temporarily stopped funding the UNRWA because some of its UN employees helped Hamas attack Israel on Oct. 7, 2023.
  • Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Jordan have agreed that there must be major changes in the PA if they are to govern Gaza after the war.
  • Hamas launched a barrage of rockets into Israel.

Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2024 (Day 116): The sixty-first day of the resumed war.

  • Netanyahu said Israel will not end the war without eliminating Hamas.
  • Hamas said they will not release the hostages until Israel withdraws from the Gaza Strip, and Netanyahu said Israel will not withdraw from the Gaza Strip.

Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2024 (Day 117): The sixty-second day of the resumed war.

  • Israel demanded that UN Sec. Gen. Guterres resign because some UNRWA employees participated in the Hamas attack on Israel.
  • A bill has been introduced in Congress to permanently block the U.S. from giving money to the UNRWA.
  • This week, U.S. Sec. of State Blinken will return to the Middle East for urgent meetings to push for the release of more hostages and a ceasefire.

FYI: God does not send anyone to Hell (all of us are born with a sin nature and destined to go to Hell because we sin), but God has provided a way (Jesus) for everyone to go to Heaven (and He is the only way to get there; John 14:6).

Finally, are you Rapture Ready?

If you want to be rapture ready and go to heaven, you must be born again (John 3:3). God loves you, and if you have not done so, sincerely admit that you are a sinner; believe that Jesus is the virgin-born, sinless Son of God who died for the sins of the world, was buried, and raised from the dead; ask Him to forgive your sins, cleanse you, come into your heart and be your Saviour; then tell someone that you have done this.

God gave all the Promised Land to Israel and warned the world not to divide it (Gen. 17:7-8; Joel 3:2), but Pres. Biden and others have pushed the Two-State solution (division of Israel) since the early 1990s.

Pres. Biden and others have often tried to tell Prime Min. Netanyahu what to do, and when he refused, they have tried to bring an end to Netanyahu’s government.

Earlier this month, Pres. Biden sent U.S. Sec. of State Blinken to several nations supposedly to keep the Israel-Hamas war from spreading.

In Saudi Arabia, Blinken got an agreement from Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman to agree to normalize relations with Israel in exchange for accepting the Two-State Solution.

Blinken then went to Israel with the deal in his hand, but Netanyahu rejected it.

At one of Israel’s military bases, Netanyahu said:

  • “The war continues, and it will continue until the end, until we complete all our goals: The return of the abductees, the elimination of Hamas, and the assurance that Gaza will no longer pose a threat to Israel. Let there be no mistake; we will persist in the fight on land, at sea, and in the air until complete victory.”

These events triggered reports that Biden is upset; he hasn’t talked to Netanyahu in about a month, and he is once again trying to get Netanyahu removed from office.

One report said the Biden administration is beginning to make plans for what it will do on the day after Netanyahu is out of office.

Another report said Blinken met secretly with members of Netanyahu’s war cabinet to try to undermine Netanyahu.

On Jan. 18, 2024, it was reported that Netanyahu said:

  • “Israel must have security control over the entire territory west of the Jordan River.”
  • “I put the brakes on the attempt to coerce us to a reality that would endanger the state of Israel.”
  • “We will not settle for anything short of an absolute victory.”

(More: On Jan. 19, 2024, it was reported that a rift broke out in Israel’s war cabinet, and there was criticism of how Netanyahu is managing the war. It was reported that Netanyahu and his Defense Min. are barely on speaking terms. Is it a coincidence that this happened on the day after it was reported that Blinken tried to undermine Netanyahu?)

(More: After the rift, Biden called Netanyahu. They spoke for about 30-40 minutes, and the chasm between them appeared to grow wider.)

(More: On Jan. 19, 2024, Netanyahu linked his removal from office to the division of Israel. Netanyahu said, “I can say something about what they call the day after Netanyahu… Those who speak of the day after Netanyahu are talking about the creation of a Palestinian state led by the Palestinian Authority.”)

(More: On Jan. 19, 2024, the EU’s top diplomat said the international community may have to impose the Two-State solution on Israel without Israel’s agreement.)

(More: On Jan. 19, 2024, Netanyahu’s government easily survived a no-confidence vote when only 18 out of 120 Knesset members voted. Some members said they would not play politics while the nation is at war, and they refused to vote.)

(My opinion: Pres. Biden and many others are willing to risk the security of Israel for peace with the Muslims. The Muslims claim to be a religion of peace, but they believe they must conquer the entire world for Allah before there can be peace. They also believe they can make peace treaties and break them if doing that will advance their goal of world domination. The international community believes they can divide Israel and get peace and safety. The Bible says God will not allow that. His judgment will fall, and there will be no peace on earth until the Second Coming of Jesus.)

(My opinion: Israel must stop relying on the U.S., the EU, or any other earthly entity and start relying on God. And by relying on God, I do not mean rebuild the Temple and resume the animal sacrifices. I mean repent of their sins and accept a Jew called Jesus as their Messiah.)

Here are more events that appear to indicate that history is at the end of the age.

One, concerning world government: on Jan. 17, 2024, it was reported that the World Health Organization (WHO) Sec. Gen. Ghebreyesus told the World Economic Forum (WEF) that Disease X (an unidentified, non-existent, future disease) will happen.

He said it is a matter of “when,” not “if.”

He doesn’t know when it will happen, but companies are already working on a vaccine to treat this disease.

He said it would be a Covid-like disease, and we could consider Covid the first Disease X.

(Update: According to End Time Headlines, on Jan. 17, 2024, WHO Director Gen. Ghebreyesus urged the nations to sign the International Pandemic Treaty by May 24, 2024, so the world can prepare for Disease X. He said preparing for terrible diseases the world doesn’t know about is a global interest, not a national interest.)

(More: On Jan. 23, 2024, Dr. Robert Malone said Disease X is an imaginary infectious disease that the WHO is using to scare the public into governmental compliance, to gain power for unelected officials, and to get more money.)

(My opinion: This appears to be the beginning of the next fake pandemic. The so-called experts who are warning the world about Disease X are not named. Their research is not available. We are expected to believe the scare tactics of people who have been dishonest in the past and are clearly trying to get control of the healthcare of everyone on earth.)

Two, concerning world government and world religion: on Jan. 17, 2024, following a speech that Pope Francis sent to the WEF24 meeting in Davos, Catholic Archbishop Vigano released a statement saying:

  • Pope Francis supports the globalists and the New World Order.
  • Pope Francis is a servant of the globalist elite (characters who openly declare that they want to reduce the world’s population through wars, famines, and organized pestilence).
  • What would Jesus have said at the WEF? Not what Pope Francis said.
  • Rome will lose the faith and become the seat of the Antichrist.

(My opinion: I do not believe the Antichrist will rule from Rome, but the False Prophet will support the Antichrist, and the False Prophet may come from Rome.)

(More: White House Security Adviser Jake Sullivan said the post-World War II international order “seems to be not that order anymore. We are on the way to a new order, so we are between orders.” This sounds like the Biden administration believes the world is in a transition period between the old world order and the New World Order; world government.)

(More: Klaus Schwab, head of the WEF, said governments and “decision-makers” must “break the cycle” of nationalism and individualism to achieve its Great Reset objectives.)

Three, concerning world government: on Jan. 17, 2024, UN Sec. Gen. Guterres:

  • Called for global governance in a new multi-polar global order (in a June 26, 2020, speech, he said he wants global governance with teeth).
  • This is needed because nations (today it’s Russia and Gaza) are “ignoring international law, trampling on the Geneva Conventions, and even violating the United Nations Charter.”

Four, concerning a godless world government headed by an antichrist leader: this week, Laura J. Wellington, an award-winning author and blogger who attended the recent WEF meeting, wrote:

  • I hardly see leaders. What I see is a bunch of egomaniacs on a mission to ruin our planet.
  • The decision to leave God out of the event, focusing instead on his creation itself (Mother Earth, Climate Change, etc.), is purposeful.
  • God has dealt with this type before, and he will again. They never win.
  • Imagine all the good these people could do for humanity if, in fact, they weren’t hell-bent on taking it over, throwing God out, and controlling every thought in people’s heads.

(Note: Wellington’s comments were prompted by the presentation of a pagan ritual that drew a standing ovation at the WEF meeting. It reminded her of Rom. 1:22-25.)

Five, concerning a rebuilt Temple: in Old Testament times when the Jews were wandering in the wilderness, those who carried the Tabernacle, set it up, took it down, and served there had to meet two requirements: 1) they had to be descendants of Aaron, and 2) they had to be cleansed with water of purification made with the ashes of a red heifer that was pure and unblemished.

When the next Jewish Temple is built, those who build it and serve there must be descendants of Aaron, and they must be cleansed with the water of purification made with the ashes of a red heifer that was pure and unblemished.

But for almost 2,000 years, Israel didn’t have one because the Romans destroyed their herd of Red Heifers when they destroyed Israel in 70 A.D.

In Sept. 2022, a rancher in Texas had five red heifers that were pure and without blemish, and they were moved from Texas to Israel.

On July 16, 2023, it was reported that three of the red heifers were still pure and without blemish, and if just one of these red heifers remained unblemished until early 2024, it could be sacrificed on Passover, and its ashes could be used to cleanse priests to build the next Temple and serve there.

On Aug. 8, 2023, it was reported that the Israeli government has discretely shifted some funds to prepare for purification services and possibly the construction of a third Temple.

According to the report, little is being said about this because rebuilding the Temple is an explosive issue.

On Jan. 14, 2024, a spokesperson for Hamas was being interviewed on TV, and he said bringing red cows to Israel was the “application of a detestable religious myth” that ignored and hurt the feelings of the Arabs.

Following the arrival of the 5 Red Heifers in Israel, Hamas had warned that they posed a threat to the Al-Aqsa Mosque on the Temple Mount.

The Hamas spokesperson seemed to be saying Hamas started the Israel-Hamas war to stop the Jews from sacrificing a Red Heifer and rebuilding the Temple.

Six, concerning the decline of the U.S.: on Jan. 18, 2024, it was reported that the military can no longer meet its recruiting requirements, and it is finding that some white men are refusing to serve in a military that discriminates against white people.

Seven, concerning the decline of America: U.S. citizens must show a passport or a valid ID to fly in or out of the U.S..

On Jan. 24, 2024, it was reported that the Biden Administration is seeking ways to let illegal aliens fly without a passport or ID.

(My opinion: Biden is trying harder to protect Hamas terrorists and illegal aliens than he is trying to protect Israel and the U.S.)

Eight, concerning the decline of the U.S.: on Jan. 19, 2024, it was reported that First Lady Jill Biden will be sponsoring an Easter Egg decorating contest at the White House, but contestants cannot put religious themes on their eggs (They can’t use anything about Passover, the cross, the resurrection of Jesus, etc.).

(Note: Passover and Easter are about the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus. It looks like the spirit of antichrist has taken over the White House.)

Nine, concerning wars and rumors of wars at the end of the age: on Jan. 18, 2024, prophecy expert Amir Tsarfati listed 8 areas of conflict that are taking place now.

  • Israel’s Conflict with Gaza, the West Bank, and Lebanon.
  • Iraqi Militias’ Conflict with Israel.
  • Iran’s Conflict with Syria, Iraq, and Pakistan.
  • Yemen’s Conflict with the US and the UK.
  • Russia’s Conflict with Ukraine.
  • China’s Threats Against Taiwan.
  • Turkey attacks the Kurds.
  • North Korea Threats Against South Korea.

Ten, concerning deceit and corruption in the White House: while campaigning for Pres. in 2022, now Pres. Biden said Hunter’s Laptop from Hell was “a bunch of garbage” and a “Russian Plant” that nobody believes.

On Jan. 18, 2024, the U.S. Dept. of Justice said that the laptop belonged to Hunter, and it is not Russian disinformation.

Eleven, concerning corruption and a stolen election in 2020: two professors (one at the Univ. of Michigan and the other at Auburn Univ.) have proven that Dominion Voting Machines can be hacked, and the votes can be altered.

The professors proved this by hacking into a Dominion Voting Machine Tabulator in the presence of a judge in court and changing the vote totals on Jan. 19, 2024.

One of the professors issued a report on this in the past (date not given in the article), but the Georgia Sec. of State covered it up until a Federal District Court Judge unsealed it in June 2023.

(By the way: On Jan. 22, 2024, it was reported that Biden spent the weekend at his 3.4-million-dollar home in Delaware. Some media is reporting that he has spent 432 days – almost 40% – of his presidency on vacation.)

  • The U.S. launched several air strikes on Houthi sites in Yemen.
  • Israel killed the Islamic Jihad leader who was released in a trade for Gilad Shalit.

Friday, Jan. 19, 2024 (Day 105): The fiftieth day of the resumed war.

  • The hatred of Israel is growing, and it is easy to see Israel standing alone. (Note: The nations will abandon Israel, but God will not, and that will eventually lead to the nation accepting Jesus as the Messiah.)
  • The Houthis in Yemen promised not to attack Russian and Chinese ships in the Red Sea.

Saturday, Jan. 20, 2024 (Day 106): The fifty-first day of the resumed war.

  • Israeli Jets destroyed a building in Damascus, Syria, that killed five Iranian advisors. Iran said it reserves the right to respond at the appropriate time and place.
  • There were more attacks in Lebanon, Iraq, and the Red Sea.
  • There was a massive attack on an airbase in Iraq where hundreds of U.S. troops are stationed. Several U.S. troops were injured.
  • Israeli troops have discovered a deadly fungus in the Hamas tunnels for which there is no treatment. Some of the hostages have probably been exposed. It is believed to have caused the death of one Israeli soldier.
  • Hamas now says it will release the hostages for an end to the war and Israel’s complete withdrawal from the Gaza Strip.
  • About 860,000 Israelis have left their homes in northern Israel.
  • Biden’s response to the Houthis attacks on ships in the Red Sea has accomplished nothing, so he plans to step it up a little.

Sunday, Jan. 21, 2024 (Day 107): The fifty-second day of the resumed war.

  • An unverified report says more than 25,000 Gazans have been killed, more than 62,000 have been wounded, most of the 2.3 million Gazans displaced.
  • Israel discovered cages in tunnels that hostages had been kept in.
  • The U.S. said 2 Navy SEALs who went missing on Jan. 11, 2024, were on a mission to board a boat that was suspected of carrying illegal Iranian weapons, and they are presumed dead.

Monday, Jan. 22, 2024 (Day 108): The fifty-third day of the resumed war.

  • Israel proposed a 2-month pause in all fighting in exchange for the release of all hostages.
  • The EU plans to hold peace talks with the U.S., UN, Egypt, Jordan, and Arabs, and they are planning to threaten Israel if it refuses to engage them.
  • 21 Israeli soldiers were killed when an explosion caused the collapse of 2 buildings that they were in.
  • Hamas rejected the Two-State Solution and called for the destruction of Israel.
  • Israel launched a major attack on Hamas in Khan Younis and killed dozens of members of Yahya Sinwar’s home brigade. Israel believes Sinwar, some of his top assistants, and many troops may be holed up there, and it could take several days to flush them out.

Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2024 (Day 109): The fifty-fourth day of the resumed war.

  • Hezbollah fired 12 missiles at an Israeli Air Force control base, but damage was minimal.
  • There is progress but no final deal toward the release of the hostages and a month-long ceasefire in Gaza.
  • The Houthis gave the U.S. and UK staff 30 days to leave Yemen.

FYI: God does not send anyone to Hell (all of us are born with a sin nature and destined to go to Hell because we sin), but God has provided a way (Jesus) for everyone to go to Heaven (and He is the only way to get there; John 14:6).

Finally, are you Rapture Ready?

If you want to be rapture ready and go to heaven, you must be born again (John 3:3). God loves you, and if you have not done so, sincerely admit that you are a sinner; believe that Jesus is the virgin-born, sinless Son of God who died for the sins of the world, was buried, and raised from the dead; ask Him to forgive your sins, cleanse you, come into your heart and be your Saviour; then tell someone that you have done this.

Prophecy teachers understand there will be wars and rumors of war at the end of the age.

Some (including myself) have long thought that the Battle of Gog and Magog could happen soon, but it has not.

Russia invaded Ukraine almost two years ago (on Feb. 24, 2022), Hamas invaded Israel about 3 months ago (on Oct. 7, 2023), and every day, there are indications that the Israel-Hamas war could spread to other nations.

>On Jan. 6, 2024, Hezbollah fired 62 rockets from Lebanon into Israel, and the next day, Israel warned that tensions are rising and there could be another war with Lebanon.

>U.S. Sec. of State Blinken was touring nations in the Middle East to calm things down. In Qatar, he said, “This (The Israel-Hamas war) is a conflict that could easily metastasize, causing even more insecurity and even more suffering.”

>Houthi rebels from Yemen have attacked ships in the Red Sea 24 times in the last 3 months, supposedly in support of Hamas; on Jan. 10, 2024, the UN Security Council demanded that the Houthis stop the attacks immediately; on Jan. 11, 2024, the Houthis attacked another ship; the U.S., UK, and others fired more than 100 guided munitions at 16 Houthi military targets in Yemen (5 people were killed and six were injured); the Iranian-backed Houthis called the strikes in Yemen an act of war and vowed to take unimaginable revenge on the U.S. and UK.

>On Jan. 12, 2024, Iran condemned the U.S.-led strikes on the Houthis (Iran’s hired terrorists) and said it risks spreading the war. Turkey’s Pres. Erdogan accused the U.S. and UK of trying to turn the Red Sea into a sea of blood. Iran and Turkey will join Russia in the Battle of Gog and Magog.

>On Jan. 13, 2024, the U.S. and UK struck more than a dozen Houthi targets in Yemen.

>On Jan. 13, 2024, an article in the New York Times reported that a Mideast expert for the European Council on Foreign Relations said, “This is already a regional war, no longer limited to Gaza, but already spread to Lebanon, Iraq, Syria and Yemen.”

>On Jan. 13, 2024, a French military analyst expressed the opinion that Iran’s proxies are anxious to spread the war, but Iran wants them to hold back a little longer (a month or so) while Iran produces some nuclear weapons.

>On Jan. 14, 2024, Iranian-backed Houthis in Yemen fired an anti-ship missile at a U.S. destroyer in the Red Sea.

>On Jan. 15, 2024, the Houthis said their position on attacking ships in the Red Sea has not changed since the U.S. started attacking targets in Yemen.

>On Jan. 15, 2024, a missile fired from Yemen hit a U.S.-owned ship.

>On Jan. 15, 2024, it was reported that Iran has Revolutionary Guard troops on the ground in Yemen helping with the Houthis attack ships in the Red Sea.

>On Jan. 15, 2024, the Houthis in Yemen fired a missile that hit a U.S. aircraft carrier in the Red Sea.

>On Jan. 16, 2024, Hezbollah tried to send several drones into northern Israel. They followed that by firing several rockets into the same area. Israel responded with more than 30 airstrikes on 15 different targets, including more than 150 squads of Hezbollah forces.

>On Jan. 16, 2023, the U.S. launched a pre-emptive strike and destroyed 4 anti-ship ballistic missiles that the Houthis in Yemen were preparing for launch.

>The Houthi attacks on ships are causing the price of shipping to soar.

>On Jan. 17, 2024, U.S. Sec. of State Blinken said he “could not think of a time in his career when there had been more global challenges, ranging from war in Gaza and Ukraine to tensions over Taiwan.”

It is beginning to look like there will be another war, and another war, and another war (wars and rumors of war), and this is one of the signs Jesus said would exist at the end of the age.

Here are some reports that appear to verify that the end of the age is near.

One, concerning deceit: based on a survey of 1500 experts, industry leaders and others, on Jan. 10, 2024, the World Economic Forum (WEF) warned that false and misleading information produced by Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a greater risk to the global economy than Climate Change.

Two, concerning the Mark of the Beast and tracking all buying and selling: a digital ID is not the Mark of the Beast (the name, number, or Mark of the Antichrist), but it is a necessary step for the use of a Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) and the ability to track everyone’s buying and selling.

On Jan. 12, 2024, it was reported that about 1.6 million people in Malaysia have signed up for a digital ID, and the government expects about 30 million people will have one in the next 6 months.

Some officials claim that more than 100 nations are studying the use of CBDCs.

815 million people in India already have a digital ID.

Three, concerning the Mark of the Beast: at the Davos 2024 meeting on Jan. 16, 2024, Bill Gates said, “COVID vaccines need to have longer duration, more coverage, and we’re going to change. Instead of using needles, we’ll use a little patch.”

The patch Gates is talking about is his patented Quantum Dot Tattoo (Mark).

He wants to tattoo people when they are vaccinated to identify those that go along with world government, allow them to buy and sell, etc.

Gates added that his patch is almost ready, and it will be rolled out in India (where 815 million people already have a digital ID).

(Question: If Gates and others are preparing to jab, tattoo, and track 815 million people in India, do you think they will stop when they have accomplished that? If they can do it to 815 million people in India, could they do it to everyone on earth by the middle of the Tribulation Period?)

Four, concerning a peace treaty in the Middle East: over a 7-day period, U.S. Sec. of State Blinken recently traveled to 9 Arab nations, and all of them agreed that they are willing to sign a short-term or long-term (could it be 7 years) agreement provided Israel is ready to take concrete steps toward the creation of a Palestinian state (the division of Israel).

It was also reported that Blinken had a “very candid conversation” with Prime Min. Netanyahu and other high-ranking officials in Israel on this issue, and a senior State Dept. official said, “Israel ultimately doesn’t have a choice.”

The Bible clearly teaches that there will be a worthless 7-year treaty at the end of the age, and it will kick off the Tribulation Period.

The judgment of God will fall, and the entire world will eventually look worse than Gaza looks today.

(My opinion: The Two-State Solution – a division of Israel – has been Biden’s plan all along, and God clearly said He would drag the world into the Battle of Armageddon if they do it; Joel 3:2.).

Five, concerning the use of electric vehicles (EVs) in the U.S.: on Jan. 11, 2024, Hertz announced that it will sell 20,000 EVs (they own 60,000) it has bought and replace them with gasoline-powered vehicles.

They cited high repair costs and the low resale value of used EVs (most people will not buy one).

Six, concerning an increase in natural disasters at the end of the age: this past weekend, some temperatures in Canada dropped to minus 50 degrees Celsius (about 58 degrees below zero Fahrenheit), the solar panels were virtually useless, and all the remaining gas generators were operating at full capacity.

Alberta’s electric company imported electricity from other systems, asked citizens to not charge their electric vehicles (EVs), and to not use electricity in every way they could.

(Question: What would have happened to citizens at 58 below zero if they relied solely on solar panels and other sources weren’t available; no coal, gas, oil, or wood? How did those people get to work, store, doctor, etc., if they couldn’t charge the batteries on their EVs? Understand that some U.S. leaders are serious about closing coal mines, stopping the drilling for oil, forcing citizens to drive EVs, etc.)

Seven, concerning the decline of America: in Nov. 2023, a male Democrat who identifies as a female was elected to fill a seat in the Virginia state senate.

In a recent interview on Jan. 9, 2024, he/she announced his/her intent to be sworn in with his/her hand on his/her favorite heavy metal album instead of the Bible.

(My opinion: At some point, America will pay for its blatant rejection of God.)

Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2024 (Day 96): The forty-first day of the resumed war.

The U.S. and UK shot down 18 drones and 3 missiles that Houthis fired at ships.

Houthis that fired missiles at a British navy vessel in the Red Sea were trained at an Iranian naval academy.

The UN Security Council demanded that the Houthis in Yemen stop attacking ships in the Red Sea immediately.

Israel’s war cabinet will deliberate a Qatari proposal to deport Hamas leaders and release all hostages in exchange for the withdrawal of all Israeli forces from Gaza. Hamas immediately rejected the proposal, but the U.S. and Israel have agreed that Hamas will not govern Gaza when the war is over.

Intelligence information captured by Israel in Gaza shows that two so-called Palestinian journalists who were recently killed in the war were terrorists posing as journalists. At the time of their death, they were using drones to spy on Israeli troops.

Thousands of Israelis went to the Wailing Wall in Jerusalem to pray for the release of the hostages.

Israel found a tunnel with evidence that hostages had been there, including DNA.

Thursday, Jan. 11, 2024 (Day 97): The forty-second day of the resumed war.

Iran seized an oil tanker in the Gulf of Oman that was carrying oil from Iraq to Turkey.

The U.S., UK, and others fired more than 100 guided munitions at 16 Houthi military targets in Yemen (5 people were killed and 6 were injured).

Friday, Jan. 12, 2024 (Day 98): The forty-third day of the resumed war.

The Iranian-backed Houthis called the strikes in Yemen an act of war and vowed to take unimaginable revenge on the U.S. and UK.

About 30 min. after the attack on Houthi military targets in Yemen, there were unconfirmed reports of a bomb threat on the U.S. embassy in Iraq. (Note: The Iranians, Houthis, and Bahrainis are Shiite Muslims, not Sunnis like most Arabs.)

Turkey’s Pres. Erdogan said Turkey is giving evidence to the International Court of Justice that Israel has committed genocide in Gaza.

Saturday, Jan. 13, 2024 (Day 99): The forty-fourth day of the resumed war.

The U.S. and UK struck more Houthi targets in Yemen.

The Houthis said the U.S. and UK will have to pay a heavy price for the attacks.

Fighting is intense, and the death toll is high in central and southern Gaza.

A group of violent anti-Israel protestors almost broke through the fence around the White House.

Sunday, Jan. 14, 2024 (Day 100): The forty-fifth day of the resumed war.

Netanyahu said, “No One Will Stop Us, Not the Hague, Not the Axis of Evil, and Not Anyone Else.”

The Biden Administration said they are pressuring Israel to start lowering the intensity on Hamas in Gaza.

Hamas released a 37-second video of 3 Israeli hostages and said it will reveal their fate tomorrow.

Hamas said the fate of many hostages is unknown.

The Palestinians in Gaza are some of the poorest people on earth, and Hamas could have helped them, but Hamas spent billions of dollars building new tunnels and expanding old ones.

Monday, Jan. 15, 2024 (Day 101): The forty-sixth day of the resumed war.

Israel said 25 hostages have died in captivity, but Hamas is still holding 132.

Two attacks in Israel by terrorists that entered the nation illegally killed one and injured 17.

Iran’s Revolutionary Guard fired rockets at Erbil, the capital of Kurdistan (in Iraq), under the pretense that Israel had established a spy center there (4 civilians were killed and 6 civilians were injured). Iraq recalled its ambassador to Iran and said it will lodge a complaint with the UN Security Council.

Several Hamas officials who were living in Lebanon have gone into hiding in other countries.

Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh urged Muslims all over the world to build on the victory they had on Oct. 7, 2023 (raping women, beheading babies, taking hostages, etc.) for the liberation of Jerusalem and the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The Anti-Defamation League said antisemitism is increasing.

Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2024 (Day 102): The forty-seventh day of the resumed war.

The tunnel network under Gaza is far bigger than anyone realized. It was originally believed to be about 250 miles but has turned out to be 350 to 450 miles of tunnel and more than 5,000 shafts.

From an area in Gaza that Israeli troops had just evacuated from (about 24 hours before), Hamas fired more than 50 rockets toward a town in Israel. This generated a debate in Israel’s war cabinet about Israel withdrawing too soon.

Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2024 (Day 103): The forty-eighth day of the resumed war.

Muslims – some have been funded by Iran – have attacked Jews in Judea and Samaria more than 2600 times since Oct. 7, 2023 (throwing rocks or firebombs, stabbing or trying to stab people, running over people with their vehicles, etc.) Understand that this is several times a day, every day. What is wrong with those who think Israel shouldn’t try to do something about it?

No Innocent Civilians in Gaza :: By Daymond Duck

Following 54 days of captivity in Gaza, 21-year-old Mia Schem was interviewed twice on TV, and she felt a need to talk about those who seized her and what she went through as a hostage.

Schem was at the Supernova music festival with a male friend when the attack started.

They rushed to her car, got in it, and started driving away.

She saw several terrorists shoot people and stepped on the gas to escape, but they shot her tires, and her car stalled.

A truckload of armed terrorists passed her car, and one of the terrorists shot her (a 21-year-old unarmed woman) in the arm at very close range.

She dropped to the floor of her car with blood streaming down her arm and began to scream that she had lost her hand.

Schem’s male friend was removed from the car; his hands were tied behind his back; his body was found several days later and was returned to Israel.

Schem tried to play dead. Cars were burning all around her car; then a man passed that she thought was an Israeli, so she asked him to help her. The man was a terrorist; he ordered her to get up and started touching her body parts. She started screaming and acting crazy, and he saw her bloody arm and stopped. A different man grabbed a handful of her hair, pulled her to a different car, put her in it, and took her half-conscious to a hospital in Gaza.

Someone got a handful of her hair again, dragged her out of that car, and put her in a back room at the hospital. Someone stretched out her arm and tied it to a stiff piece of plastic. She spent 3 days in the back room and was ordered to put on a hijab (a head covering). She was taken to the hospital surgery room, where she was operated on without anesthesia and told she would not go home alive. (Note: It is obvious that the surgeon knew there was a hostage in the hospital.)

The next day, she was told to film a propaganda video and say she was being taken care of if she didn’t want to die.

From there, she was taken to a family home occupied by a Hamas terrorist, his wife, and an unspecified number of children. She was put in a dark room and told she could not speak, move, cry, or be seen, and she was being watched 24/7.

Schem said the entire family (father, wife, and children) was involved with Hamas, and the wife said her husband wanted to rape her.

Schem said she felt like an animal; the children would sometimes open the door and stare at her; she never got to take a shower; she often had to go without anything to eat for 2 or 3 days; she never got medications; and she had trouble sleeping.

At some point, the terrorists started moving her from home to home in an ambulance, and she became aware of what other families are like.

When the truce started, she was moved to a tunnel where she met some of the other hostages, and she spent 4 or 5 days there without food.

At the TV interviews, and after spending 54 days in Gaza, Schem said:

  • It is important for the world to understand what the people in Gaza are like.
  • I experienced Hell.
  • Everyone there (in Gaza) is a terrorist.
  • There are no innocent civilians, not one.
  • (Innocent civilians (don’t exist) there (in Gaza).
  • From the moment they are born, the children in Gaza are taught to hate Jews.

Concerning some of my thoughts about what Schem said, it is important to understand that:

  • In 2006, the Palestinians elected Hamas to rule over them, and 2 of their main goals were killing Jews and destroying the nation of Israel.
  • Hamas was trying to do what the Palestinian people elected them to do.
  • Hamas has not let the Red Cross visit the hostages to check on their care (a basic human right).
  • Hamas raped, tortured, and killed innocent Jewish men, women, and children just because they hated them, and Israel has videos and other evidence to prove it.
  • Other hostages have similar stories about how they were treated.
  • Palestinians are demonstrating all over the world and calling for the death of Jews and the destruction of Israel.
  • The Israeli military would not need to be in Gaza if the Palestinians and their allies were not like they are.
  • Palestinian parents know what was in the textbooks they used at school; they know that their children are being taught to hate Jews and more.

Please do not misunderstand me.

I do not think it is possible to view the pictures of devastation, crying and injured children, and not feel compassion for the people of Gaza, but the parents brought it on themselves and their children.

God said He will bless those that bless Israel and curse those that curse Israel, but they have rejected the Bible as the Word of God.

A famous sermon says, “It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of an angry God?”

Israel is clearly fed up with the attempts to destroy Jews in their own land.

But if God is fed up with it, as the old saying goes, “You ain’t seen nothing yet.”

(More: Hamas has contributed to Palestinian deaths by hiding behind Palestinians, firing rockets at Israel from hospitals, schools, population centers, etc. The UN and international community are guilty for allowing Hamas to take over Gaza and to use Palestinians as human shields. And some Arab countries are guilty for sending money and weapons to Hamas.)

(More: A family – father, mother, 4-yr-old boy, and 9-month-old baby – was taken hostage, and the UN, the Red Cross, Amnesty International, the Palestinians, the Arabs, and most of the media are silent about Hamas kidnapping a 9-month-old baby.)

Here are some current events that seem to relate to Bible prophecy:

One, concerning an increase in wars and rumors of wars at the end of the age: on Jan. 4, 2024, it was reported that 12 nations (the U.S., Australia, Bahrain, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Germany, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, New Zealand, and Britain) sent a letter to the Iran-backed Houthis in Yemen that said:

  • “Let our message now be clear: We call for the immediate end of these illegal attacks, and the release of unlawfully detained vessels and crews.”
  • “The Houthis will bear the responsibility of the consequences should they continue to threaten lives, the global economy, and free flow of commerce in the region’s critical waterways.”

A Biden administration official said the Houthis should not expect a second warning.

(Update: Just a few hours after the nations sent the letter to the Houthis, the Iran-backed group carried out a failed attack on another ship.)

Two, concerning God’s promise to draw the Jews back to the Promised Land at the end of the age: on Jan. 1, 2024, it was reported that there has been an increase in the desire of Jews to relocate to Israel since the Israel-Hamas war began on Oct. 7, 2023, and one of the main reasons is their “profound sense of connection and solidarity with the Jewish people and their homeland.”

The fact that there is an increase in Jews wanting to relocate to Israel while a war is going on is encouraging to those who are already there.

(More: According to the Bible, Israel will be hated by all nations at the end of the age. World leaders, Islamic groups, and the media are using the events in Gaza to increase the hatred of Israel. Anti-Semitism, harassment, and hate crimes are causing some Jews in foreign countries to consider a move to Israel. Fulfilled prophecy is verifying the truth of the Bible. The fulfillment of other major prophecies is coming on the scene now.)

Three, concerning famine and wickedness at the end of the age: on Jan. 4, 2024, it was reported that Hamas is killing hungry Palestinian citizens who are trying to steal humanitarian aid that Israel and others are sending to the Gaza Strip.

But Hamas is not killing Palestinian citizens to keep them from stealing humanitarian aid.

Hamas is killing Palestinian citizens because Hamas wants to steal the humanitarian aid for themselves.

Think about this: While Hamas is killing Palestinian citizens, world leaders are trying to protect Hamas from Israel.

Four, the Bible teaches that Israel will expand its borders at the end of the age and ultimately end up with all the Promised Land.

On Jan. 3, 2024, 3 legal experts from law schools in Israel and the U.S. submitted a document to Israel’s political leaders that says international law does not require Israel to allow the Palestinians to return to their homes in northern Gaza as long as the fighting continues, and Israel’s enemies are holding hostages.

The legal experts added that even if the war ends, preventing the movement of Israel’s enemies is legal warfare.

As I understand what I have been reading, Israel is willing to allow Palestinians to return to most (Israel wants a buffer zone) of northern Gaza under the condition that the Palestinians will not threaten or attack Israel.

Israel is fed up and demanding an end to the attacks.

Five, concerning world government: on Jan. 7, 2024, it was reported that Tucker Carlson interviewed a world-renowned biologist who said:

  • There is scientific evidence that shows that Covid vaccinations killed 17 million people worldwide.
  • Using vaccinations that damage the immune system of children means they will have a damaged immune system for the rest of their life.
  • Pandemics and mass vaccinations are part of the UN’s plan to transform itself into a world government.
  • The World Health Organization (WHO) is drafting new measures that will destroy national sovereignty and free speech as we know it.

(My opinion: Deceit has become a major problem worldwide. Many world leaders, medical people, the media, and big pharma, are compromised and unreliable.)

Six, concerning the Tribulation Period: on Jan. 5, 2024, the Israel Today Staff posted an article about an unidentified commander (identity withheld for security purposes) in Israel’s Southern Command.

After talking about the fighting that he and his troops went through in a TV interview, the commander was asked for his interpretation of what happened and is happening.

He referenced Jer. 30:7, “Alas! For that day is great, so that none is like it; it is even the time of Jacob’s trouble; but he shall be saved out of it.”

The time of Jacob’s trouble is one of the names of the Tribulation Period.

According to the Bible:

  • As an unbeliever, Jacob’s name was Jacob, but when he became a believer, God changed his name to Israel (Gen. 35:10-12).
  • Israel will come back into existence as a nation before the Tribulation Period (Isa. 66:7-8).
  • Israel will have to go through the Tribulation Period (Dan. 9:24-27).
  • All Israel will be saved (Rom. 11:26).

The Israel-Hamas war is not the Tribulation Period (time of unbelieving Israel’s trouble; the Church is still here; there is no world government, etc.), but the Israeli commander is right: this war could be a major step in that direction (and lead to Israel’s salvation at the end of the Tribulation Period).

Seven, concerning a departure from the faith in the Church: on Jan. 8, 2024, it was reported that a Catholic cardinal from Venezuela wrote an explicit pornographic book in 1998 that has recently come to light, and Roman Catholic Archbishop Vigano has called upon the Swiss Guards to arrest and expel him and his accomplices from the Vatican.

Here are some daily updates on the war.

Thursday, Jan. 4, 2024 (Day 90): The thirty-fifth day of the resumed war.

  • Israel has placed its forces on her border with Lebanon on high alert.
  • Israel warned that they will only allow world leaders a short period of time to get Hezbollah away from Israel’s border with Lebanon.
  • Israel said Hezbollah has a network of tunnels in Lebanon that is more sophisticated and dangerous than the Hamas tunnels in the Gaza Strip.
  • There is growing concern about oil and gas prices if the war continues.
  • Israel blew up a tunnel several hundred meters long with several side tunnels, and several (about 20) terrorists in the main tunnel were all killed. There may have been terrorists in the side tunnels killed, too.
  • Israel said Hamas is putting children on the front lines while its troops are hiding in tunnels.
  • Hezbollah leader Nasrallah said all land from the river to the sea is Palestinian land and all Jews should be removed.
  • Israel released a plan for limited Palestinian self-rule of Gaza, with Israel in charge of security after the war.
  • A U.S. airstrike killed an Iranian-backed terrorist leader in Iraq.

Friday, Jan. 5, 2024 (Day 91): The thirty-sixth day of the resumed war.

  • Israeli air, sea, and ground forces struck more than 100 Hamas sites.
  • Israel’s destruction of tunnels is greatly weakening Hamas below ground, and conquered territory is causing Israel’s forces to grow stronger above ground.
  • A U.S. nuclear-powered aircraft carrier accompanied by a strike group of naval vessels arrived at the Red Sea to send a message to the Houthis in Yemen.
  • Israel’s Defense Min. said Israel prefers a diplomatic settlement of its differences with Hezbollah along Israel’s border with Lebanon, but the likelihood of resorting to a military option is increasingly imminent.
  • The U.S. State Dept. offered $10 million for financial information on 5 wealthy Muslims who are funneling large sums of money to Hamas.

Saturday, Jan. 6, 2024 (Day 92): The thirty-seventh day of the resumed war.

  • Hezbollah fired 62 rockets into Israel, supposedly in retaliation for the assassination of a Hamas leader earlier in the week (on Jan. 2, 2024).
  • Because of attacks in the Red Sea, Lebanon, Iraq, and Iran, America’s Sec. of State Blinken will visit Turkey today to try to convince Iran to tamp down the attacks to keep the war from spreading.
  • The U.S. shot down a drone that was launched over the Red Sea by Houthis in Yemen.
  • Israel said it has dismantled Hamas’ command structure in north Gaza and will now focus on destroying the command structure in central and south Gaza.

Sunday, Jan. 7, 2024 (Day 93): The thirty-eighth day of the resumed war.

  • S. Sec. of State Blinken is on a lightning tour in the Middle East over concern that the Israel-Hamas war is spreading.
  • Muslim attacks on Jews in the West Bank (Israel) are increasing.
  • Many medical workers and staff announced their departure from Gaza because of the increasing danger.

Monday, Jan. 8, 2024 (Day 94): The thirty-ninth day of the resumed war.

  • S. Sec. of State Blinken is due in Israel as fear grows that the war is spreading.
  • Following a visit to Saudi Arabia and Abu Dhabi, Blinken said the countries in the region are willing to normalize relations with Israel provided there is a practical path to a Palestinian state.
  • An Israeli airstrike in Lebanon killed a senior Hezbollah commander, and fear of an all-out war is spreading.
  • Israel found a weapons production site in a tunnel in Gaza and evidence that Iran was helping Hamas build and launch precision missiles.
  • It is rumored that Israel knows where Yahya Sinwar is, but he is hiding behind some of the hostages to keep Israel from attacking his hideout.
  • Israel assassinated a rocket expert in Syria that they think was responsible for firing rockets into Israel.

Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2024 (Day 95): The fortieth day of the resumed war.

  • Israel said it will not allow more Palestinians to return to northern Gaza unless Hamas agrees to release more hostages.
  • An investigation found that many United Nations workers in Gaza used an internal Telegram channel to praise the Oct. 7 slaughter of Jews.
  • Israel and Hamas attacked each other all day long.

FYI: God does not send anyone to Hell (all of us are born with a sin nature and destined to go to Hell because we sin), but God has provided a way (Jesus) for everyone to go to Heaven (and He is the only way to get there; John 14:6).

Finally, are you Rapture Ready?

If you want to be rapture ready and go to heaven, you must be born again (John 3:3). God loves you, and if you have not done so, sincerely admit that you are a sinner; believe that Jesus is the virgin-born, sinless Son of God who died for the sins of the world, was buried, and raised from the dead; ask Him to forgive your sins, cleanse you, come into your heart and be your Saviour; then tell someone that you have done this.
