President Donald Trump revealed Friday morning “with a high degree of certainty” the Charlie Kirk assassination suspect now in police custody.
Federal investigators and state officials hours earlier had released images and a video of the person they believe is responsible, as Breitbart News reported.

Free speech advocate Kirk was gunned down as he spoke to a crowd gathered in a courtyard at Utah Valley University in Orem.
AP reports the president made his claim on television, stating “With a high degree of certainty, we have him.”
Trump was speaking in a live interview on Fox News Channel.
Trump said a minister who is also involved with law enforcement turned in the suspect to authorities.
“Somebody that was very close to him said, ‘Hmm, that’s him,’” Trump said.

Should be interesting to see how this rascal was persuaded to carry out this dastardly deed…but most of us can probably already guess.
And how long did it take him to become a sniper/sharp-shooter? He’s young.
He could easily have learned with the military. Some people have a natural gift for shooting, and such a person would be picked out for specialist training (such as for a sniper) by any competent training personnel, once they realised what they had. And the distance was not all that long for anyone who is a good shot.
Best of all, they have him. Now we need to see him get what he needs — and hopefully those who put him up to it, too — it was probably not his own idea, even if he was more than happy to do it.
It will be interesting to see if he gets a Lee Harvey Oswald before he can talk….

If he got as far as military basic training then in just a few weeks he would have to qualify in accurately shooting his rifle or maybe he had training in a gun club. With a good scope, decent rifle & some practice an accurate 200 yard shot on a stationary target is pretty much a slam dunk.
Security there, in my opinion was very inept. Somehow this rascal made it to a rooftop with a rifle & ammo + being observed on the rooftop with pics of him in a prone shooting position & yet nobody takes any interest. Sounds like a set-up to me.

Absolutely! I am quite certain that anyone fairly competent with a rifle — especially with a scope — would have been more than capable of making the shot. That bit is never the one which gets one thinking about funny business; that starts when security shows itself so inept that they allow such things as Mr. Vernon points out to go unaddressed — one cannot say ‘unnoticed’, for it seems that he was noticed up there before he fired the shot then?
Whatever the case, it is all jolly phoney — it’s so much like a re-run of the first (I think it was the first!) murder attempt on Trump, when the goon was on a roof, fired but missed — and harmed others, I remember. This is just like that, only this time the goon unfortunately didn’t miss. It is so similar, that it looks like it could easily have come from the same evil brain, anyway.

Seems very likely it was planned from a very influential, knowledgeable source. The confusing & distressing posting of outdated information after he had died long before was also part of it.
