Former Minnesota congresswoman Michele Bachmann believes that Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff, who have longtime business ties to the Middle East, played key roles in hindering Israel’s victory over Hamas.
Speaking at the Family Research Council’s “Pray Vote Stand Summit” in Chino Hills, California, on a panel titled “Israel: In Search of Shalom,” Bachmann said she was “perplexed” that President Donald Trump brought in private businessmen rather than Secretary of State Marco Rubio, to guide peace negotiations.
She questioned why official diplomacy was effectively delegated to Trump’s son-in-law and real estate developer Witkoff, who both maintain long-standing financial relationships in the Gulf.
“We have a Secretary of State named Marco Rubio,” she said. “Why wasn’t he the one involved in these negotiations?”
“Instead, the president brought in Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff — both with long-standing business ties to Saudi Arabia and to Qatar.”
Looking back at the previous administration, Bachmann said, “We, the United States, we were the bad guys for the last two years under the Biden administration. America handcuffed Israel and told them, ‘You’re not allowed to win. You can’t win.’ And we denied them ammunition. We denied them weapons. We made Israel’s life miserable. That was under Joe Biden.”
She continued, “Then when President Trump came in, it took a long time to ramp up to get them the weapons and the ammunition.
“But then, weirdly, out of nowhere, Jared Kushner reenters the scene. What had he been doing? He struck a $2.5 billion deal with the Saudis and the Qataris when President Trump left office the first time.”
Bachmann, who now serves as dean of the Robertson School of Government at Regent University, said those connections represented “an unprecedented conflict of interest” during a decisive phase of Israel’s campaign.
Directing her wrath at Kushner, she said, he is “somebody who has financial arrangements on the line and is a junior business partner of Saudi Arabia,” a country “that’s clearly been involved in terrorism against the United States.”
She also singled out his dealings with Qatar, “which is actively involved in terrorism.”
Addressing some of the backlash toward Israel by Americans, she said, “You wonder why American students, Christians, conservatives have turned against Israel? I’ll tell you why: It’s because for the last two years, it’s documented. Qatar has spent over $200 billion in America targeting your kids and targeting you.”
She said Qatar has spent billions of dollars on “American newsrooms, on influencers, and in academic institutions … so why is American policy going to allow that?”
According to Bachmann, Israel was “within two weeks of winning this war,” controlling 80% of Gaza before Kushner and Witkoff intervened.
“They were right there coming in for victory,” she said. “And then our envoys, Kushner and Witkoff, came in and said, ‘Wait, stop. You can’t win. We’re not going to let you win.'”
She said the move deprived Israel of a clear victory, which she argued was essential to achieving stability in the Middle East.
“Just as we had miraculous victories — Hezbollah defeated, Iran defeated, Yemen defeated — Israel was about to finish Hamas, the weakest of its enemies,” Bachmann said.
“And suddenly, America handcuffed Israel again. First under Biden, now under Trump’s own advisers.”
Bachmann described Qatar as “the chief funder of terrorism in the world,” claiming its wealth and global investments have enabled it to project enormous ideological influence.
“You need to know this about Qatar,” she said. “It’s only 330,000 people — the size of Pittsburgh — with 2 million foreign workers they treat like slaves. But they control 14% of the world’s natural gas. They’re the richest people on Earth, and they’re using that money to advance political Islam.”
She alleged that Qatar has spent more than $200 billion in the United States to shape public opinion and undermine support for Israel, funding news outlets, influencers, and universities.
“All those riots at Columbia University,” she said, “were paid for courtesy of Qatar.”
Bachmann also criticized the administration’s recent executive order extending a defense guarantee to Qatar and plans to host Qatari F-15s at a U.S. Air Force base in Boise, Idaho.
“Why are we rewarding the chief funder of terrorism — the nation that’s hosted Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood?” she asked. “In what universe does this make sense?”
She warned that elements of Trump’s proposed 20-point peace plan could strip Israel of sovereignty over Gaza and parts of the West Bank, land she said Israel has owned under international law since 1967.
“Under the Trump plan, Gaza would be severed off,” Bachmann said. “That violates Joel, chapter 3 — God warns against dividing the land of Israel.”
Bachmann concluded that America’s Middle East policy, shaped by powerful private intermediaries, risks betraying both its faith and its allies.
“This isn’t about politics,” she said. “It’s about spiritual truth. God blessed Israel with victory — and we told them to stop. We need to ask ourselves: who are we really serving?”

We should be asking the question – “Who are we really serving” SPIRITUALLY as well!!???
God, His Word (the Holy Bible), and His plans are unchangeable.
Anyone can choose to not believe them, not accept them, or not go by them, but no one can change them.
Things will eventually happen exactly as prophesied in the Scriptures.
For example, God promised to bless those that bless Israel, and to curse those that curse Israel.
In essence, those that choose to curse Israel are choosing to be cursed.
People can ignore God and the Scriptures, do what they want to do, and sincerely hope that everything will turn out okay, but it may not happen.
God is holy.
He cannot lie.
He requires things to happen the way He said they would happen.
He predicted hundreds of things that would happen before they happened (the virgin birth, crucifixion, death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus, etc.), and because they happened, He expects everyone to believe the unfulfilled prophecies will happen.
It is a shame for people not to believe and not to tell people about things to come.
People need to know, understand, and prepare.
Here are some recent events that seem to indicate that the end of the age is near.
One, concerning the fact that Israel cannot be destroyed: on Oct. 16, 2025, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) held a day of mourning to honor the soldiers and civilians that lost their lives in the Israel-Hamas War.
One official said,
(My comment: Let the world know that Israel lives.)
Two, Muslims sometimes call Israel the Little Satan, and they call the U.S. the Great Satan.
They often say that after we destroy the Little Satan, we will destroy the Great Satan.
They can’t destroy Israel, but they are trying to, and they are trying to take over the U.S.
On Oct. 16, 2025, RAIR reported that a Muslim radio station is putting up Arabic-language billboards in Texas advertising that “We speak to you in Arabic.”
RAIR said:
(My comment: If the people of Texas don’t wake up soon, the call to Islamic prayer will be waking them up every day.)
(More: Pundits are predicting that a devout Twelver Shiite Muslim named Zoran Mamdani (son of a Marxist Columbia professor) will likely win the New York Mayoral race next month. Voters should be aware that he is close to gaining control of their $100 billion budget, police, schools, taxes, etc.)
(FYI: Iran is a devout Twelver Shiite Muslim nation. Iran is calling for the destruction of Israel, and the U.S. Iran wants to establish a global Shiite government and religion on earth.)
(More: On Oct. 17, 2025, the founder of CAIR (the Council of American-Islamic Relations) spoke to the Islamic Society of Orange County, Cal. and called upon mosques to fund and produce 100,000 Muslim journalists, lawyers, policymakers, and candidates by 2050 in order to build Islamic political power inside America. He said, “We have 4000 mosques in the country… if each mosque establishes a small fund… five students in journalism… filmmaking… defending rights… political science… history…
…In 12 years… 50,000 of each… In the year 2050, imagine the Muslim community will have 100,000 of each. Then we will tell our own story… defend… and… run for public office at all levels of government.”)
Three, concerning persecution of Christians at the end of the age: on Oct. 16, 2025, it was reported that India now requires local authorities to approve voluntary conversions, and unauthorized conversions can produce prison sentences and the equivalent of nearly $30,000 in fines.
Residents could also have their homes confiscated or demolished for getting people to accept Jesus.
Four, concerning persecution of Christians at the end of the age: on Oct. 16, 2025, it was reported that Turkey has expelled more than 350 foreign Christians since 2020, labeling many as “national security threats,” according to rights groups.
Five, concerning persecution of Christians at the end of the age: on Oct. 18, 2025, Zero Hedge (Tyler Durden) reported that there are about 8 billion people living in our world today, and well over half of them live in a country where Christians are being persecuted.
Six, concerning wickedness at the end of the age: on Oct. 15, 2025, it was reported that the Department of Homeland Security said Mexican drug cartels are now offering the following cash rewards:
Seven, concerning Hamas killing Palestinians in Gaza: on Oct. 16, 2025, Pres. Trump said, if Hamas continues to kill people in Gaza, which was not the deal, we will have no choice but to go in and kill them.
Eight, concerning Hamas releasing the bodies of deceased hostages: on Oct. 16, 2025, Israel’s Foreign Minister said, “We know for certain that Hamas can easily release a significant number of hostages in accordance with the agreement. What they are doing now is a fundamental violation of the agreement.”
Nine, concerning the implementation of Pres. Trump’s 20-Point Plan: on Oct. 17, 2025, White House Correspondent William Koenig reported:
Ten, concerning progress on Trump’s 20-Point Plan: on Oct. 19, 2025, it was reported that:
(BTW: A senior member of Hamas’ politburo, Mohammed Nazzal, said Hamas is now considering a 3-5-yr ceasefire to allow for reconstruction of Gaza. Really!!! Why not 7 years and someone to strengthen the agreement?)
(My questions: If Hamas is refusing to keep its current agreement, why would world leaders pretend to believe that Hamas will keep any agreement? Oh, wait! Could it be that we are at the end of the age, and world leaders hate Israel just like the Bible says? Could it be that killing Jews is an Islamic religious belief, and Hamas will not abandon its religious beliefs? What will Pres. Trump do about Hamas’ violation of the agreement? He has already issued an executive order to protect Qatar, a major financier of Hamas. Hegseth has already said the U.S will allow Qatari jets and pilots to train in Idaho. So, the U.S. has cozied up to Qatar, which sides with Iran in the financing of Hamas, and now Hamas is reneging. Trump said if Hamas keeps killing Palestinians, he will kill Hamas. What will he do if Hamas keeps killing Jews?)
(Update: On Oct. 20, 2025, Pres. Trump’s envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner arrived in Israel to keep the truce from collapsing and discuss further phases of the deal.)
(Update: Concerning Hamas: on Oct. 21, 2025, Pres. Trump said, “They’re going to be nice, and if they’re not… we’re going to eradicate them if we have to.”
Eleven, Trump’s ceasefire agreement between Hamas and Israel requires Israeli troops to stay behind a yellow line, and Hamas not to cross it.
Hamas has already violated that, so Israel has started placing concrete blocks with yellow posts on them along the line, and Israel has warned Hamas to stay on its side of the line.
Twelve, since the beginning of 2025, 20 hay barns (storage facilities for hay to feed cows) have gone up in fire.
Many are the result of arson, and we could focus on the wickedness of man (days of Noah), hatred for Israel, etc., but I just want to point out that God called Israel the land of milk and honey, Russia will go after Israel’s cattle and goods in the latter years and latter days, etc.
Hay barns are a sign that God knows the future, and the cattle are there.
Thirteen, concerning the Battle of Gog of Magog in the latter years and latter days: on Oct. 20, 2025, the Prophecy News Watch (PNW) staff wrote:
The PNW staff believes we are witnessing “The Quiet Before the Next Storm.”
Fourteen, concerning Israel being a great army at the end of the age: on Oct. 20, 2025, Israeli Prime Min. Netanyahu told the Israeli Knesset that Israel has been fighting a war on seven fronts for two years, and the Jewish military is stronger than ever.
Fifteen, concerning Pres. Trump’s 20-Point Plan: on Oct. 23, 2025, it was reported that:
(My opinion: God is opposed to the division of Israel, so Pres. Trump’s 20-Point Plan has a long way to go.)
Sixteen, concerning the rebuilding of Babylon at the end of the age (and a possible fulfillment of Bible prophecy): on Sept. 25, 2025, it was reported that construction has started on several major projects.

FYI: God does not send anyone to Hell (all of us are born with a sin nature and destined to go to Hell because we sin), but God has provided a way (Jesus) for everyone to go to Heaven (and He is the only way to get there; John 14:6).
Finally, are you Rapture Ready?
If you want to be rapture ready and go to heaven, you must be born again (John 3:3). God loves you, and if you have not done so, sincerely admit that you are a sinner; believe that Jesus is the virgin-born, sinless Son of God, who died for the sins of the world, was buried, and raised from the dead; ask Him to forgive your sins, cleanse you, come into your heart and be your Saviour; then tell someone that you have done this.
