It appears that violent leftists in both California and New York don’t give a rip about President Trump’s mandate and have no fear of Attorney General Pam Bondi, who should look into both of these cases immediately.
Antifa Attacks Turning Point USA at UC Davis… Again
Turning Point USA hosted a “Prove Me Wrong” event on Thursday with former police officer Brandon Tatum, who was a guest speaker. The conservative students were assaulted by masked Antifa-like protesters who physically accosted them and destroyed their equipment as police watched and did nothing at UC Davis.
Their canopy was stolen, banners were ripped down, foam boards were trashed, and the thugs attempted to steal an iPad and laptop from a field rep.
“While our people were under attack, police stood aside and did nothing,” Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk wrote on X. “Our team is understandably shaken up, but they assure me they will not back down.”
Naturally, UC Davis immediately tried to play down the attack. They told Fox News Digital that “protesters disrupted the event at Memorial Union Quad by confronting members of the student organization and others.”
“The UC Davis Police Department took one report of an assault,” the school disingenuously asserted. “No one requested medical aid. The event with the guest speaker took place on schedule and was completed without further incident. The university protected the free speech rights of the campus community throughout the event.”
“ACAB” Goes After Officer Tatum
Tatum has a very popular YouTube Channel and is an unabashed conservative. He was slated to speak at 1 p.m. An hour before the event was to start, approximately 30 people showed up in Antifa gear from the group Cops Off Campus.
One of the protesters hit someone who approached the table with a cell phone, evidently attempting to record the confrontation, according to the school. Another person, per The California Aggie, who was hit was Moms for Liberty chapter chair and UCD employee Beth Bourne. She approached the group and was hit on the back of the head by a protester. Then the domestic terrorists tore down the tent and started shoving people.
Minutes later, the thugs returned to remove the tent as the police stood and watched. There were 15 officers there in riot gear. No one was arrested.
Protesters held up a communist-style banner with “ACAB” on it, which stands for “All Cops Are Bastards,” as they descended on the event.
“It ended up well because it was crazy because people attacked us, they assaulted a couple people at our booth,” Tatum told The Aggie during an interview. “They stole our tent which you see is missing, and they were very evil. [They] made it a dangerous situation, but we finished alright.”
Tatum denied assaulting any demonstrators unprovoked after pushing one of them down and police holding him back, “They attacked people, they attacked our thing. I pushed them out of the way, and that’s it.”
Charlie Kirk Blasts Militant UC Davis
Kirk had choice words on X for UC Davis, “UC Davis is probably the most militant school in the country, with the largest Antifa presence. When I spoke there in March 2023, Antifa foot soldiers vandalized the school, smashed windows and fought the police. What we have is a pattern, with no signs of improvement.”
“This has gone on long enough. Violent vigilantes like these only fester and grow when they’re allowed to act with impunity like at UC Davis. Arrests need to be made. Radical anarchists will keep resorting to more and more violence if they think doing so will stop conservatives from speaking. UC Davis must credibly show they are willing to protect the constitutional right to free speech and free assembly on a public campus. If they won’t, then the Trump Administration should investigate their continued receipt of federal taxpayer dollars,” he added.
Elon Musk reacted to the incident on X, stating, “The left is the party of violence & hate.”
Officer Tatum also astutely noted on X, “This is what mostly peaceful looks like.”
Another Vicious Attack in New York City
Turning Point USA also had a member viciously attacked in New York City this week.
Savannah Craven, who is a pro-life activist with Live Action and also works with Turning Point USA, was violently attacked in the Big Apple after interviewing people on the street Thursday.
Craven pointedly asked individuals, “Do you know what Planned Parenthood does?” That’s when a pro-abortion activist started chatting her up, according to The Post Millennial.
When the leftist realized that Craven was pro-life, she flipped out and started punching her in the face, bloodying her.
Another video shows Adam Francisco, a friend of Craven’s, noting that “she is currently in an NYPD car searching for the attacker where the incident occurred.”
Craven proceeded to release photos that were captioned, “I was just assaulted in Harlem interviewing people on the street. In cop car. Heading to hospital. Updates soon. ABORTION SUPPORTERS ARE VIOLENT!”
This attack took place just days after President Trump had his administration freeze federal grants to Planned Parenthood and other groups.
Planned Parenthood Federation of America President and CEO Alexis McGill Johnson told the Wall Street Journal, “The Trump-Vance-Musk administration wants to shut down Planned Parenthood health centers by any means necessary, and they’ll end people’s access to birth control, cancer screenings, STI testing and treatment, and more to do it.”
Bondi needs to follow up her words with action and go after these domestic terrorists to send a message that attacking conservatives will not be tolerated.
