With all of the stories of conversions from Islam to Christianity, even in Iran, we must be careful to distinguish Eastern Orthodoxy from Evangelical Christianity! Jill Martin Rische clearly teaches the fundamental differences between the two.
It is critically important to know the differences – to keep yourself safe and to be able to help the newly ‘converted’ to understand the true Gospel of Christ:
“For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God” (Ephesians 2:8).

Very well said, and so glad she mentioned Justin! As we can thank God for Justin Martyr who was as close as one could get, (for a historian) being born around AD 95 and Apostle John dying around AD 95. Basically, they could have both been breathing the same air, at the same time! That’s close!

Since we’re talking about eastern religions I thought to throw in Islam. If anyone hears the term “Chrislam” in a positive manner from their church pastor or
“teachers” then start running for the door & look for another church. There’s no such thing & it’s one of many doctrines of demons. To embrace it is a 1 way ticket to hell & or personal ruin. It’s impossible to combine the real God of our Bible & the devilish god of Islam. Islam is diametrically opposed & totally illogical especially regarding Jesus, salvation in Christ alone thru faith alone. In addition, Alah & our Trinitarian God of Father, Son & Holy Spirit can never be combined. If you try it then they all must be treated as equals which creates an illogical, unBiblical foursome or Quadgod. If you as a Christian hear syncrestic Chrislam being an option in order to “go along to get along” then you have abandoned Christianity & become a heretic as well as an enemy of the real Jesus. Harsh words but research it for yourselves & you will find it to be even worse than what little I’ve described here.
