Exposing The New York Times: A Legacy of Antisemitism and Deception

From rairfoundation.com

In February 2024, Natasha Frost, a New York Times reporter, triggered a significant breach of privacy and incited widespread harassment against over 600 Australian Jews by leaking their personal information from a support group, highlighting The New York Times’ continued pattern of antisemitic actions and disinformation.

In February 2024, a disturbing breach of privacy involving the personal information of over 600 Australian Jews was traced back to Natasha Frost, a reporter for The New York Times (NYT) based in Melbourne. This incident, which has led to significant harm and danger for those targeted, is only the latest in a long history of anti-Jewish actions and disinformation perpetuated by The New York Times.

The WhatsApp group, from which Frost downloaded 900 pages of content, was initially formed as a support network for Jewish creative professionals and academics following the October 7, 2023, Hamas massacre in Israel. The group’s purpose was to offer solidarity in the face of rising antisemitism. Yet, it became the target of pro-Palestinian, anti-Israel activists after Frost shared the group’s private information. The data was used to create the infamous “Zio600” list, leading to widespread harassment, threats, and acts of vandalism against the group members.

Frost’s actions and the subsequent fallout have brought renewed scrutiny to The New York Times, a publication with a notorious history of spreading antisemitism and downplaying Jewish suffering. During World War II, The New York Times played a shameful role in obscuring the horrors of the Holocaust. Despite having access to credible information about the systematic extermination of Jews in Nazi-occupied Europe, the paper consistently buried these reports deep within its pages, failing to give the genocide the prominence it deserved. The NYT’s deliberate underreporting contributed to a widespread lack of awareness and urgency about the Holocaust during a critical period.

This history of minimizing and ignoring Jewish suffering is reflective of The New York Times’ broader editorial bias. The publication, which has long positioned itself as a bastion of liberal values, has repeatedly engaged in disinformation, particularly when it comes to issues affecting Jewish communities and the state of Israel. The current scandal involving Natasha Frost is not an isolated incident but rather part of a troubling pattern where the NYT’s reporting has enabled and perpetuated harmful narratives against Jews.

In more recent years, The New York Times has faced significant criticism for its biased coverage of Israel and the Jewish community. During the 2023 Israel-Hamas war, the newspaper was criticized for inaccuracies and poor fact-checking, which led to distorted representations of the conflict. For example, the paper frequently associated Israel with terms like “apartheid” and “colonialism” while downplaying the violent actions of Palestinian terrorist groups such as Hamas and Hezbollah. This selective reporting has contributed to a narrative that unfairly demonizes Israel while minimizing the responsibility of its adversaries.

Moreover, The New York Times has a history of publishing content that has been widely condemned as anti-Jewish. In 2019, the paper published a cartoon depicting then-President Donald Trump as a blind man being led by a guide dog with the face of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, wearing a Star of David. This cartoon was not only offensive but also played into dangerous stereotypes that have fueled antisemitism for centuries.

The New York Times published a cartoon that depicted Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as a guide dog wearing a Star of David collar and leading President Donald Trump, who is wearing a black kippah

The newspaper has also targeted Orthodox Jewish communities in New York, with articles suggesting that these communities manipulate government systems to siphon funds for their schools. Such reporting perpetuates harmful tropes about Jewish power and influence, feeding into the same antisemitic narratives that have historically led to discrimination and violence against Jews

The actions of The New York Times, in this case, have had real-world consequences. Jewish families in Melbourne have been forced to close their businesses and even go into hiding due to the threats and violence incited by the leak. This breach of trust underscores the dangers of disinformation and the ethical failings of a publication that has long claimed to stand for truth and justice yet continues to perpetuate bias and lies.

As public outrage grows, there are calls for stricter legal measures to protect individuals from doxxing and similar privacy violations. Australian officials, including Attorney-General Mark Dreyfus and Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, have condemned the incident and are working to introduce legislation that would criminalize such actions. However, the damage done by The New York Times—both in this case and throughout its history—cannot be easily undone.

This incident is a reminder of the power that media outlets hold and the importance of holding them accountable for the harm they cause. The New York Times, with its history of antisemitism and disinformation, must face scrutiny for its role in enabling hatred and violence against Jewish communities. This is not just about one reporter’s actions but about a broader culture of bias and deception that has permeated the NYT for decades.

WITH EXECUTIONERS INSIDE: 25 Killed at DNC as Planned Parenthood Abortion Truck Books All Available Appointments

From westernjournal.com

There are plenty of conservative Americans who believe that uniting this nation is no longer possible. These individuals claim that liberals and conservatives think too differently.

They may make a valid point. All you need to do is look at the Planned Parenthood Abortion Truck sitting outside of the Democratic National Convention performing vasectomies and abortions to realize how radically different the two sides are.

The stunt is pure evil. It’s modern day sacrifice sold as healthcare for political gain and population control. Any Christian who’s tempted to vote for Kamala Harris needs to see this.

The New York Post, who had the opportunity to go inside the four-wheeled Planned Parenthood clinic and view a room where the procedures take place, described the facility by saying, “It looked like a standard medical office, but tighter due to the limited space.”

The mobile death camp sat next to a taco truck and a stand run by Chicago Abortion Fund, the Post noted.

The ‘free and easy’ framing around these procedures is sickening. It devalues life and invites irresponsible behavior as well as murder without consequence. For the trade of a meal and a goodie bag, you can take a life and walk away as if your pregnancy never happened.

The van began performing abortions and vasectomies on Monday, the first day of the DNC. It then continued on Tuesday. Dr. Colleen McNicholas, the chief medical officer of Planned Parenthood in the region, told the Post that “it planned to perform 10 vasectomies on Monday and 25 abortions on Monday and Tuesday.” Registration forms were sent out on the Thursday before and all 40 spots were filled by that Saturday.

Organizers insist that the stunt is designed to advocate for accessible reproductive healthcare, placing people before politics. McNicholas told the Post, “We knew that there were going to be lots of people coming to Chicago from outside of Illinois, and again we just wanted to highlight that Illinois is a great example of how if you center healthcare policy that is based in science and evidence and puts people before politics then we can really start meeting the needs of the folks in the state.”

What about the people whose lives were decidedly extinguished before they began in that van? Apparently, the DNC and Planned Parenthood have decided that they don’t count or have a place in this world. They are playing God.

Their message is flourishing among the attendees of the convention. The number of abortions and vasectomies will undoubtedly grow as the convention continues.

Savanah Hernandez, a politics commentary writer for Turning Point USA and The Post Millennial, shared her experience viewing the activity taking place around the van on Tuesday on X.

She posted: “DNC Day 2- I’m currently outside of the Planned Parenthood ‘mobile health clinic’ that patients are actively walking in and out of.

“So far I’ve watched 1 male patient and 3 female patients enter the truck.

“Patients pre-registered to receive abortion pills or vasectomies with Planned Parenthood filling up every appointment slot.“I tried to interview a patient as she left but I was quickly stopped by the Planned Parenthood staffers.”

And yet, all human beings need to do is view life in the womb, including through videos like the one below in which TikToker Dr. Aneela posted to her account, to see how alive these babies are from the moment of conception. You can watch as a 10-week developing baby moves about here.

Watching that, how could anyone put this Democrat party in charge of protecting the entire United States, when it is absolutely fine with killing the most vulnerable among us? It makes no sense.

At the same time, it makes it quite obvious why so many conservative Americans don’t feel this nation can be united. With an outlook on life so different at a baseline, it seems only God could perform such a miracle. And yet, the parties differ dramatically on Him as well.

HOW CAN I BE SAVED?

Pro-Israel Group, Denied Permit to March, Gathers at ‘Hostage Square’ in Chicago

From breitbart.com

CHICAGO, Illinois — A pro-Israel group that was denied a permit to march during the Democratic National Convention gathered in a makeshift “Hostage Square” in the West Loop on Tuesday to make their voices heard.

The original “Hostage Square” is front of an art museum in Tel Aviv, Israel, and was given that name after it became a gathering place for the families of kidnapped and missing Israelis in the wake of the Hamas terror attack of October 7.

Like its namesake in Israel, the “Hostage Square” in Chicago features art installations that draw attention to the victims of Hamas — in particular, to U.S. citizens who were murdered or taken hostage. Five American hostages remain: Keith Siegel, 65, Sagui Dekel-Chen, 35, Omer Neutra, 22, Edan Alexander, 20, and Hersh Goldberg-Polin, 23.

One art project, by Israeli designer Neil Salti, is a tree that honors the 403 victims of the Hamas attack on the Nova music festival. Visitors were invited to contribute by writing messages, or the names of victims, on rocks nearby.

Orly Birnbaum, of Tel Aviv, Israel, writes the name of a friend who was murdered at the Nova Music Festival, contributing to Neil Salti’s Tree of Remembrance at “Hostage Square,” outside the Democratic National Convention, Chicago, Illinois, August 20, 2024. (Joel Pollak / Breitbart News)

Salti told Breitbart News that he lost 25 friends at Nova who were DJs or art designers for the festival. His tree included a rope around the trunk, like the ropes found onsite, which were thought to have been used on rape victims.

His girlfriend, Orly Birnbaum, said that one of her friends, Karla, was burned so badly at the festival site that she was only identified using dental records.

Other art projects focused on hope persisting, despite the horror.

Andrea Weinstein, the younger sister of Judih Weinstein, a resident of Kibbutz Nir Oz who was murdered with her husband, Gadi Haggai, told reporters that she had come to visit Hostage Square without knowing that her sister’s photograph would be prominently displayed.

She told the story of how her sister and her brother-in-law, who loved to drink espresso and take a walk outdoors each morning, were murdered by Hamas terrorists while on a morning stroll.

Weinstein told Breitbart News that she was deeply grateful to the Biden administration, whom she said were working to achieve a hostage deal between Israel and Hamas “24/7.”

Yet neither she nor any other relatives of the hostages have been told that they will be speaking onstage at the convention. (The Republican National Convention last month in Milwaukee featured Ronen and Orna Neutra, the parents of Omer Neutra, during a prime-time speaking slot.)

The Democratic convention has reportedly downplayed the role of Jewish or pro-Israel speakers, given the tensions within the party over the war in Gaza.

Thousands of pro-Palestinian protesters marched on the convention site on Monday, and presidential nominee Kamala Harris has been eager to appease them — though often in secret. President Joe Biden told the convention Monday that the protesters — who included Hamas supporters — “have a point.” He did not mention the word “Israel” in his entire speech. (The Republican Jewish Coalition has promised to plant 1,800 trees in Israel for every speaker at the Democratic convention who praises Israel. On Day One, there were no takers.)

Amid the political struggles, “Hostage Square” became a refuge for pro-Israel activists, many of whom have felt beseiged by the presence of dozens of pro-Palestinian groups at the convention. These were given permits by the City of Chicago for a march, while pro-Israel groups were not. (A Christian-led pro-Israel counterprotest Monday stayed on the sidewalk, marching around the perimeter of a pro-Palestinian rally.)

“Hostage Square” is the only pro-Israel event near the convention — and fears of antisemitic attacks are high enough that the location was not publicized.

Unlike the one in Israel, this “Hostage Square” will only last a day. But organizers hope that it will, at least, provide some hope to a Jewish community that has been traumatized by events in Israel, by the explosion of antisemitism in America, and by the ambivalence of the Democratic Party and its leadership as they court a new, hostile constituency.
