We — all of us: me, Michelle, Bill, Hillary, Chuck, Nancy, and Hakeem — were caught completely off guard when President Biden called us each to tell us that he would withdraw from the campaign. I know they’ll each have something to say as soon as I relinquish the microphone. We also were surprised when Kama — er, Vice President Harris — told us, which, of course, has now been reported, that the nastiness of today’s politics has made her unwilling anymore to seek the presidency. We know she has other great ways to serve the public.

“In this unprecedented situation, the seven of us together, with neither objection from nor formal endorsement from President Biden, decided we really should weigh in, in unified fashion, to ask Democratic delegates to focus on defeating the massive challenge to democracy represented by Donald the Insurrectionist Trump, and to set aside any internal disputes in order to rally around a unity ticket.

“Our choice — and again, we are suggesting to independent delegates, not giving orders — but our choice is a ticket we feel certain will defeat Trump in an absolute landslide. We, again, all seven of us agree, uh, we strongly and enthusiastically recommend, without objection — I want to stress this, without objection — from our friend Joe the President, that the Democratic Party in 2024 nominate Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro, one of the most accomplished and “can do” officials we’ve seen, to be President of the United States. Any man who could get a temporary freeway back up in just 12 days in Philly after that horrible accident, when experts said it might take two years, is a man we need as Mr. Fixit for our broken political system.

“We also are heartened to know that he very quickly came up with the best suggestion for a running mate, which we will let Gov. Shapiro announce later today, but suffice it to say that the story of a black daughter of a single, immigrant mother rising to the very top of the corpor…, oh, anyway, suffice it to say that you’ll be very, very impressed when Josh, I mean Governor Shapiro, introduces her.

Brethren…….it may very well go down like this article, but only God knows. I have said for weeks that something big is going to happen before this election. I still believe that.

Keep your eyes on Jesus and know that God is in Control!

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ. For He chose us in Him before the creation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame in His sight. In love He predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will. To the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.” Ephesians 1:3-6

Only the Lord God Almighty can do as He pleases. What He wills to do, He can do it; and He can do it in His own time and way; when and where and how—Only God can do that.

The portion of Scripture above plainly reveals the good pleasure of our Heavenly Father: what He purposed to do and then brought it to pass. How wonderful and encouraging it is that His children can read with joy the plans of their Father who loves them; and that in words easy to understand. How awesome to know He has all power to make those plans come to pass.

In considering God’s plans for His children, several words jump out at us: God blesses us in Christ; He chooses us in Christ, and has predestined us to be adopted as His children in Christ. The word predestined means God can call something into being long before it ever happens. God predestined that all who are united to Christ, are predestined to be adopted as His sons/daughters—Only God can do that.

Joseph, the son of Jacob is a perfect Old Testament example of God’s ability to plan, purpose and predestine things to happen according to the good pleasure of His will. When Joseph was only seventeen, God revealed to him in two dreams that he had big plans for him. Shortly after that, his life was turned upside down and everything went exactly opposite of the direction God planned for him (or so it appeared);  he became a slave in Egypt, and was then unjustly imprisoned; this covered a period of thirteen years.

When Joseph was thirty years old, the king of Egypt brought Joseph out of prison and made him lord over Egypt, the most powerful nation on earth. The devil, using wicked people, tried to mastermind a plan to destroy Joseph. The devil thought he had the ability to cancel God’s predestined plans for Joseph. In reality, God used all of the actions of evil people to accomplish His plans for Joseph. At the age of thirty, Joseph was exactly in the place and position the Lord had predestined him to be—Only God Almighty can do that.

The story of Joseph is an amazing type of the story of Jesus. Before the creation of the world, God predestined that Jesus would be Lord over all in heaven and on earth. It was God who planned and predetermined that His only begotten Son would die on the cross for sin and become the Savior of the world. God used the hatred of many of Jesus’ brethren to bring Him to be crucified. Because Jesus was obedient to His Father, even to death on the cross, the day came when God sat Jesus in heaven as Lord over all in heaven and on earth.

God has a purpose and predestined plan for all of His children, and we know what it is:

“…We know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.” Romans 8:28-29

You read that right! God’s predestined plan for your life is to conform you to the image of Jesus. And, He is making all things (the good and the bad) work towards that end.

“…We know that when Jesus is revealed, we shall be like Him…” 1 John 3:2

Only God can and will do that.

People have been writing to me about how ‘wonderful’ it was that Biden fell on his face at the first debate. I have been writing back to them, telling them that this was indeed orchestrated by the Dems.

We mustn’t forget that these people are being led by Satan himself, who is as smart as he is EVIL.

I believe that they wanted the American people to see Biden at his absolute worst, so that they can bring in a replacement for him. Perhaps Gruesome Newsom? Perhaps Michelle Obama or even Killery Clinton?

The Supreme Court ruled Friday that the government cannot prosecute January 6 defendants under 1512(c)(2), the “Enron” statute, for generally obstructing “an official proceeding” unless they interfered with objects or documents.

The bombshell decision could result in hundreds of convictions against non-violent January 6 defendants being overturned — and could result in at least some charges being dropped against President Donald Trump as well.

1512(c)(2) was passed after the Enron scandal, when it was discovered that federal law had a loophole: it was illegal to instruct others to destroy evidence, but not illegal to destroy evidence oneself. Consequently, Congress passed a law prohibiting tampering with witnesses or evidence that is to be used in an “official proceeding.” The Department of Justice used that law to prosecute participants in the Capitol riot based on the idea that they had “obstructed” an official proceeding — i.e. the certification of the Electoral College vote in the 2020 presidential election. But critics said that 1512(c)(2) had never been intended to apply to protests or other First Amendment-connected activities.

In a 6-3 decision, with the majority opinion written by Chief Justice John Roberts, the Court overruled the (heavily anti-Trump) D.C. Circuit and said that 1512(c)(2) could not be used as broadly as the Department of Justice had done.

“To prove a violation of Section 1512(c)(2), the Government must establish that the defendant impaired the availability or integrity for use in an official proceeding of records, documents, objects, or as we earlier explained, other things used in the proceeding, or attempted to do so,” Roberts wrote. The term “otherwise” — as in “otherwise obstructs, influences, or impedes any official proceeding” — could not be used so broadly as to include trespassing.

In order to continue a prosecution under the Enron law, the prosecution would have to show that the defendants not only invaded the Capitol, but that they also impeded the delivery of documents or objects needed for the proceeding.

The Court remanded the case back to the U.S. District Court in D.C., where the petitioner, Joseph Fischer, faces trial for his involvement in the Capitol riot (including for allegedly physical violence against law enforcement). The Court instructed the district court to consider the 1512(c)(2) court of the case against Fischer more narrowly than before.

Surprisingly, Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson concurred with the majority, while Justice Amy Coney Barrett wrote the dissent. Barrett wrote: “Section 1512(c)(2) is a very broad provision, and admittedly, events like January 6th were not its target. … But statutes often go further than the problem that inspired them, and under the rules of statutory interpretation, we stick to the text anyway.” She said that Fischer had been properly prosecuted under the law.

Trump faces four counts in Special Counsel Jack Smith’s case against him in D.C. relating to the January 6 Capitol riot. One of those is under 1512(c)(2), and could possibly be thrown out on the basis of the Court’s decision.
