The Biden administration wants to train at least 200 activists to advocate for transgender rights in India as part of a program ostensibly designed to advance America’s “national interests,” according to a federal grant posting.
President Joe Biden’s State Department plans to “train at least 200 LGBTQI+ community leaders … with preference given to trans and intersex community leaders” by “deliver[ing] specialized legal education and support” which will, in turn, empower “them to advocate for their rights and access the services they need,” according to a grant announcement published on April 8.
The department is offering the grant under its Public Diplomacy Programs, which exist to “support the achievement of U.S. foreign policy goals and objectives, advance national interests, and enhance national security.”
The grant opportunity argues that “improved health, education, economic strength, justice and equality” for transgender people in India will ultimately benefit the United States.
The proposed program, titled “Empowering LGBTQI+ Community Leadership Across India,” focuses on transgender and intersex Indians because, according to the State Department, they face both “more severe discrimination and social stigma compared to other groups within the LGBTQI+ spectrum” as well as “unique challenges” when it comes to “accessing education, healthcare, employment and legal recourse against discrimination.”
To accomplish its goals, the program will utilize a “train the trainer” approach, using the 200 people it trains directly to reach a further 2,000 activists within one year. The State Department hopes to set off a “ripple effect” across India through this strategy.
The major Indian cities of Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai and New Delhi are all targets under the State Department’s program.
The department is offering between $120,000 and $150,000 for a third party to run the program, which it says will start on August 20.
Funding LGBT initiatives abroad, ostensibly to promote America’s interests, has been a defining factor of the State Department under Biden. Under the Biden administration, the State Department has bankrolled “queer” Muslim writers in India, funded theatrical productions to teach Africans about LBGT rights, backed a ballroom dancing program to “uplift” Peruvian transgender youth and paid a university to churn out “LGBTQI+ allies.”
The State Department did not immediately respond to the Daily Caller News Foundation’s request for comment.

Yes, they are totally and utterly sick — and most of those in positions of leadership throughout the world are well and truly bent (pun actually not intended, but noticed as I typed) on the same course. And it will lead them to Hell, if they do not soon realise their rampant error and, repent and turn to Jesus to save them.
Amen, Tiffy. We should pray for them, I know, but it’s getting harder and harder to do that. I have to remind myself that God can do anything!! I guess I lack the faith I need to believe that these demonic people will repent and turn to our Lord for salvation. I need to remember what Saul was doing to the people of God before his Damascus Road conversion!!
Exactly! which is why I try to make my self actively remember that I ought to have God’s heart toward them — for they truly are so evil that it is sometimes difficult to see, never mind remember, that we actually share common humanity.
Because He loves them as people and souls He has created, we must too, and He reserves the judgement of them for Himself.
I am reminded of Psalm 4, where, in verses 4 and 5, it says: “Be angry, and do not sin. Meditate within your heart on your bed, and be still. Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and put your trust in the Lord.”
It seems to perfectly fit our case regarding this. It is good to share God’s anger at the vile things these people do, as it is part of God’s heart to be angry because of it, and He commands us to be as like Him as we possibly can.
But, having reserved judgement for Himself, we should not rant around publicly blowing off about such people in an uncontrolled way, but rather before we might speak about anything, to have talked to God about it first, to both calm us down a bit, and also so that He can impart any necessary wisdom to us before we speak — if we even need to.
And that is where the sacrifices come in — they truly are so evil that our flesh feels it does well to rise up in fiery indignation at them. And so it does, up to the point just made, and it really is a sacrifice of righteousness sometimes, just to get by without giving vent to such rage over them that one might in fact have let loose a flame thrower on them, were they present and one had such a weapon to hand 🙂
Self-control, being one of the fruits of the Spirit, should be evident in our lives — even when it is a struggle to exhibit it! 😀 — and having made the sacrifices of righteousness, in crucifying our tendency to allow anger too much reign, we can trust in God to make sure it all comes right, and know that satan’s minions will get away with absolutely nothing 🙂
I remember in the Word – our Lord Jesus being angry at times. I think that in certain cases it is an emotion which points us to HIS Righteousness. But you are right that we much be careful not to let it govern everything we do.
So maddening to see our tax dollars going for evil like this. Heartbreaking to see the results of confused mixed up people. How in the world could this be of national interest to our country to spread this all over the world? It’s for the wicked ones who hide away and serve Satan. There are many ways to de-populate – none of them good – but this is something that devastates a person and all those around them until they are so miserable that their life gets destroyed.
I pray against it, that their efforts will be fraught with many set-backs, that the evil ones get caught in their own snares or if at all possible they and their prey could repent.
So much longing for the Kingdom of God where righteousness rules and we honor our King with grateful joy and gladness.

My great uncle was a Lutheran missionary to Nagercoil, India. He was the first president of Concordia Seminary there. Five of his children were born there. Surely he would be shaking his head to see how far we have fallen.
