PFAS chemicals can cause serious health risks, experts warn

The risk of having potentially harmful chemicals in your drinking water may depend on your zip code.

A study published in the journal Nature Geoscience on April 8 found that higher amounts of PFAS (perfluoroalkyl substances) were found in drinking water in certain parts of the U.S.

PFAS — also known as “forever chemicals” due to how slowly they break down — are a group of chemicals used during industrial processes and the manufacturing of consumer products.

Two of the main chemicals are perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA) and perfluorooctane sulfonate (PFOS).

There are many ways people can be exposed to these chemicals — including in drinking water.

To determine the prevalence of PFAS in the environment, researchers from the University of New South Wales (UNSW) in Sydney, Australia, analyzed a global dataset of 273 studies dating back to 2004.

The studies included data for over 12,000 samples of surface water (water that collects on the ground) and more than 33,900 samples of groundwater (water found underground, below the surface).

“We looked everywhere for PFAS concentrations in water data, including scientific journals and governmental reports and websites,” senior author of the study Denis O’Carroll, a UNSW engineering professor, told Fox News Digital.

“We compared PFAS concentrations in these water samples to international regulations. We also compared the types of PFAS analyzed to what we found in consumer products.”

Nearly 70% of the samples had levels of PFAS that exceeded Canada’s minimum safety standards (30 nanograms per liter), while 6% had more chemicals than the European Union’s standard (100 ng per liter), according to the study findings.

In the U.S., PFAS “hot spots” were concentrated in the Midwest, New England and the West Coast, according to a map illustrating the findings — although the chemicals were also detected in other areas across the country.

Globally, Australia, Europe and China showed high levels.

To date, nobody has looked at the global extent of PFAS in our waters and compared it to international drinking water standards,” noted O’Carroll.

“Our study found that a substantial fraction of sampled waters exceeded PFAS drinking water guidance values, with the extent of exceedance depending on the jurisdiction and PFAS source.”

Health risks of PFAS

Dr. Mark Fischer, regional medical director of International SOS, a health and security risk mitigation company headquartered in London, pointed out that most Americans also have these chemicals in their blood.

“Although the use of these chemicals has declined in recent years, they are difficult to break down, so they are still found in some food, water and consumer products, as well as within the soil and the environment,” Fischer, who was not involved in the UNSW study, told Fox News Digital.

Most people in the U.S. have been exposed to these chemicals, most likely through contaminated food or their drinking water, according to the CDC.

Health risks associated with PFAS include cancers, elevated liver enzymes, lower birth weight and higher cholesterol, Fischer said.

“PFAS contamination has been identified in drinking water in all 50 states.”

Other potential dangers include heart issues, plus immune and developmental damage, according to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

“PFAS contamination has been identified in drinking water in all 50 states, according to the Environmental Working Group,” Fischer said.

“That said, the levels of these chemicals vary throughout states and cities.”

Study limitations

The study did have some limitations, the researchers acknowledged.

“We have measured a much wider range of PFAS in consumer products than in our waters,” said O’Carroll.

“As such, we don’t really have a great idea of the range of PFAS in our waters.”

The data was also limited to what the researchers could find, he noted.”Just because we can cheaply use a chemical doesn’t mean we should.”

“While we had data for over 45,000 water samples, even more data would be useful, especially for parts of the world where we had limited data.”

The actual amount of PFAS in water could be higher than what the study results imply, O’Carroll added.

“Current monitoring practices probably underestimate PFAS in the environment, given the limited suite of PFAS that are typically quantified but deemed of regulatory concern,” he said.

These are just one of the many types of chemicals that are used in daily life, O’Carroll noted.

“As a society, we need to consider the chemicals we use and reduce our use of some,” he advised.

“Just because we can cheaply use a chemical doesn’t mean we should.”

Latest PFAS regulations

On April 10, the EPA finalized new limits on the amount of PFAS chemicals permitted in drinking water.

The new standards could reduce exposure for 100 million people, potentially preventing thousands of deaths and tens of thousands of serious illnesses, the agency said in a news release.

This is the “first-ever national, legally enforceable drinking water standard” to protect people from the health risks of PFAS, the agency stated.

The 66,000 public drinking water systems in the U.S. will have three years to reduce PFAS levels to meet the new standards, according to the release.

The EPA also announced $1 billion in new funding, provided through the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, to enable PFAS testing and treatment of public water systems and private wells.

I have been drinking bottled water for many years. It started back in the 80’s.

We had moved into our first home – a townhouse. The children were toddlers and they suddenly became sick – like a stomach flu. But this went on and on and the pediatrician could not find the problem.

I was desperate to find out what was wrong with the children. I had an idea and called the county to come out and check our water for bacteria. Our home was in a cul-de-sac at the end of construction of the neighborhood.

Sure enough, the worker found an abundance of bacteria and told me to use bottled water for the time being.

I asked her if the department would tell the other people in our neighborhood. I’ll never forget what she said:  “You just take care of your family and let the others do the same.”  I could not believe her words.

When she left, I called a local news TV station and told them what this worker said to me. They asked if I would be on air and tell my story. I said I would. Then they called the head of the county department and had him come over. The news station covered the whole story.

Because the story was made public, they created a new department which would be responsible for checking water in new neighborhoods where construction ended.

God bless you, my brothers and sisters in Christ!

NEW NAME FOR GATES INSTITUTE FOR POPULATION AND REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH: NEW NAME – SAME AGENDA

The diabolical duo – Bill and Melinda Gates – did their dirty deed to our world by promoting the CLOT SHOT.  Has it been 4 years?

Looking back, it seems like a monumental ‘drive by’ and now they’re off in the wind, thinking up new depopulation events and methods.

Is Billy Boy involved in Disease X?  You betcha.

How could he refuse?

This article was published by Johns Hopkins University. They partnered with Gates to push the JABS on the world.

From hub.jhu.edu

The newly renamed William H. Gates Sr. Institute for Population and Reproductive Health also unveiled new strategic priorities synthesizing five interconnected global programs with its cross-cutting gender equity work.

The Bill & Melinda Gates Institute for Population and Reproductive Health—known for its groundbreaking work on sexual and reproductive health and rights and gender equity—as of today has been renamed the William H. Gates Sr. Institute for Population and Reproductive Health.

Based in the Bloomberg School’s Department of Population, Family and Reproductive Health, the institute works to promote and cultivate new ways to accelerate locally led progress in gender equity and sexual and reproductive health and rights. Together with local partners, the institute identifies ideas with the greatest promise for impact on the greatest number of people, especially in under-resourced and marginalized communities.

The institute’s new name honors the late William H. Gates Sr. (1925-2020) and his inspirational role in philanthropy and lifelong contributions to improving global health and health equity.

“The renaming of the Gates Institute also honors Bill Sr.’s foundational support for the Bloomberg School of Public Health to establish the institute 24 years ago,” says Ellen J. MacKenzie, dean of the Bloomberg School. “That investment has enabled the institute to train the leaders of today and tomorrow, engage in groundbreaking research, lead innovative programs, and make positive disruptions to increase family planning access and improve reproductive health across the world.”

In 1997, a two-year planning grant led by William H. Gates Sr. from what would become the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation supported a new initiative at the Bloomberg School to strengthen population and reproductive health capacity in the developing world. In 1999, the foundation provided an additional $20 million to officially establish what would become the Bill & Melinda Gates Institute for Population and Reproductive Health, capitalizing on the initiative’s global public health leadership. Since 2012, the institute has grown significantly and diversified its funding base.

The institute has reached millions across the globe through programs including The Challenge Initiative, Performance Monitoring for Action, and SMART Advocacy. The institute has organized the International Conference on Family Planning since 2009. Since its inaugural event in Kampala, Uganda, the conference has become a pivotal catalyst in global reproductive health.

The institute is also unveiling a refreshed 2023-2030 vision, mission, and strategy synthesizing its strategic priorities to form five interconnected Global Programs, alongside its cross-cutting gender equity work:

  • Research, measurement, and data monitoring
  • Policy, advocacy, and community-building
  • Best practices scale up
  • Next generation leaders, and
  • Demographic futures, population, and environment

“On behalf of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, I want to express our deep appreciation for the renaming of the institute to the William H. Gates Sr. Institute for Population and Reproductive Health,” says Anita Zaidi, gender equality president at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. “The name honors the enduring legacy of Bill Sr. whose vision and dedication to global health have left an indelible mark on the world and improved countless lives.”

The institute is embarking on a search for its new leader. Jose G. “Oying” Rimon II, who has served as director since 2014, has announced his retirement. A prominent figure in the fields of family planning and reproductive health, Rimon’s career spans 40 years in leadership roles. He will continue to serve as director of the Gates Institute while a global search is conducted for his successor. The search committee will be chaired by Michael Klag, dean emeritus and Second Century Distinguished Professor at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.

“We extend our gratitude to Oying Rimon for his 10 years of leadership at the institute to advance reproductive health, family planning, and health equity,” Zaidi says. “As the institute transitions to this new chapter, we look forward to seeing it continue to strive to improve the lives of individuals and families globally, and to create a more equal world.” source

A more equal world, huh?  Oh, that means ‘gender’ equality. They’re big on that. Can you clearly see that everything these globalist elites support ALL point to DEPOPULATION!?

ABORTION:   DEPOPULATION

POISON VACCINES:   DEPOPULATION

TRANSGENDER EQUALITY:   DEPOPULATION (How many kids are Trans going to have?)

FILLING THE SKY WITH PARTICLES:   DEPOPULATION

LBGTQ:   DEPOPULATION

DID YOU KNOW THAT WILLIAM GATES SR. WAS ONCE THE HEAD OF PLANNED PARENTHOOD?

Not many people connect the dots when it comes to Depopulation.

There is a method to their madness!

DANGER AHEAD! Changing the Natural World with Genetic Engineering and Artificial Intelligence

From frontline.com

‘The idea that conservation could be done by making synthetic ecosystems is a really big shift’

Danger ahead! Changing the natural world with genetic engineering and artificial intelligence

Genetic engineering puts the natural world at risk

Genetic engineering going from the lab, to the field, to the wild

You may have heard about the genetically modified mosquitos released in Florida to mitigate a Florida invasive species spreading zika and dengue, yet that is only one aspect of how synthetic biology (synbio) can affect nature. Jim Thomas of ETC Group (Action Group on Erosion, Technology and Concentration) spoke about the potential dangers synbio may have on biodiversity and how we look after, conserve, share, and use the natural world.

The video below, in which Thomas discusses the threats and new trends we’ll have to start dealing with, gives us a window into a world that most of us may not be aware of, but should. His talk results from a discussion held by the Convention on Biological Diversity’s Ad Hoc Technical Expert Group.

Thomas brought forward the following three issues associated with the technology and nature:

1. Tools of genetic engineering are being put out into the field. Previously, genetically engineered organisms would have been created in the lab. Now they can release genetically engineered viruses or organisms into the field that can genetically engineer other organisms out in the field. Examples he called “crazy” include a “project by the US defense establishment called ‘insect allies to genetically engineer plants’.” He expressed “worry about it being a potential bioweapon but also a big shift in terms of doing the genetic engineering in an uncontrolled environment and changing nature.”

2.  Synbio is being used for conservation applications. Previously, biodiversity and conservation were about protecting the natural world. Now synbio is being used for such projects as eradicating invasive species by releasing synthetic organisms or genetically engineering corals to withstand climate change. “The idea that conservation could be done by making synthetic ecosystems is a really big shift” he said.. . . . [N]ow you’ve got these proposals of turning the natural world into a kind of synthetic version of itself and that could really upturn how we protect the wild and natural world.

3. Machines and algorithms, artificial intelligence, and robots are taking over genetic engineering.

Large automated genetic engineering foundries called biofoundries that use artificial intelligence to make tens of thousands of organisms at a time, not from a human’s mind but to design them using artificial intelligence, . . .  and one day to go out into the environment. And, it raises a real safety question because, if you have something go wrong, you potentially don’t understnd why it went wrong. With artificial intelligence, it’s a bit of a black box. . . . If you’re asking artificial intelligence to redesign nature and release that into the environment then you’ve got a big problem in terms of trying to understand safety and if something goes wrong understanding what went wrong.

The group of experts, Thomas said, all “felt that there needs to be a process for scanning the horizon and monitoring and assessing new developments in genetic engineering. We began to set out what that should be . . .”

The powers that be are playing ‘God’ and the world is suffering for it. Think back to the Tower of Babel. God did not put up with man’s attempt to build a structure which would reach heaven.

He confused the languages to put a stop to their evil nonsense.

But today, God is watching mankind in their ‘Luciferian’ quests to be higher than Him in these evil organizations and ventures:

CERN

GENETICALLY ENGINEERED VIRUSES FOR PANDEMICS

SCIENTISTS’ ATTEMPT TO BLOCK THE SUN WITH ATMOSPHERIC PARTICLES

HAARP

TRANSHUMANISM

GEO-ENGINEERING

GENETIC MODIFICATION

But make no mistake, there is coming a time of SEVERE punishment to mankind of which the Bible says:

“For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be” (Matthew 24:21).
