The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced Sunday that it had withdrawn its forces from southern Gaza, following a demand from U.S. President Joe Biden last week for an “immediate ceasefire.” Hamas declared victory on the news.
The decision, coming on the day Israelis marked six months since the October 7 attack, came as a surprise, and as Israeli negotiators flew to Cairo for hostage negotiations. Hamas has demanded a ceasefire before any new deal.
The IDF will leave one brigade in Gaza, whose role will be to allow Israeli troops access to return as necessary. It will also carry out targeted operations, such as the successful raid at Shifa Hospital last month.

The IDF on Sunday announced that it had concluded the active invasion stage of the war for now while leaving open the possibility of a future new invasion of Rafah in deep southern Gaza.

Although a top IDF official said that this change had nothing to do with US pressure, the timing was unmistakable in coming right after the IDF’s disastrous mistaken killing of seven humanitarian aid workers last week.

Hamas immediately declared the IDF withdrawal, even partial, a victory for sticking to its position of demanding IDF withdrawals, including of troops in northern Gaza.
As Breitbart News reported, Biden demanded an “immediate ceasefire” in response to the accidental killing of seven World Central Kitchen aid workers last Tuesday, when an IDF drone team mistook them for Hamas terrorists.
The incident was Hamas’s greatest success in the war: there is evidence that the terrorists deliberately confused the IDF about the vehicles. Hamas uses human shields and civilian casualties as part of its asymmetric war strategy.
Biden’s demand came after the U.S. had already allowed the United Nations Security Council to pass a resolution that separated a ceasefire from a deal to return the remaining 130 or so Israeli hostages, adopting Hamas’s core demand.
The Biden administration had also opposed an Israeli operation in the town of Rafah, near the Egyptian border, which was the last Hamas stronghold, and the key to Israeli victory in the war. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had said in February that such an operation would end the war in “weeks,” not “months,” but Biden refused to support Israel, implying that the U.S. would curtail weapons and ammunition supplies if Israel disobeyed.
Biden appeared to be responding to electoral considerations, after Muslim- and Arab-American voters in the key swing state of Michigan threatened not to support him, and young “progressive” voters sided with the Palestinians.
Israel also has other threats to worry about: Iran has been threatening a direct attack for days, having used its Hezbollah proxy in Lebanon to threaten Israel’s northern region. Some IDF troops from Gaza are being moved north.
The prospect of losing U.S. support and ammunition on the eve of a potential war in the north — which would be much more intense than the Gaza conflict — is also a likely motivation for Israel to comply with Biden’s posture.
However, the Israeli public may not accept the government’s decision. Israelis want the Gaza mission completed. Only a successful hostage deal may placate critics, as domestic pressure on the Netanyahu government grows.
There is one additional consideration: the U.S. elections in November. Israel may have decided its best chance to defeat its enemies will come with change in the White House, given Biden’s growing, perhaps permanent hostility. source
According to Netanyahu speech, Israel pulling out of khan Yunis and letting Gazans return to north Gaza and will then smash Rafah. That would thus finish Hamas to some extent. But if Bibi does not do this then, yes, Hamas Biden has indeed won. Cannot leave hidden tunnels from Rafah to Sinai not destroyed or re arming Hamas is assured. But Bidens pier is his juntas fail safe plan to also rearm Hamas in the future.

According to someone that interpreted Obama’s poodle (old name for Netanyahu) speech , the poodle is letting all Gazans return to all areas including the north and then smash Rafah and close all tunnels to Sinai. If done, it is a partial victory. If not, then indeed Hamas Biden won just like senile Satan keeps invasion of America continuing. It’s rough days ahead for Israel and probably America’s demise shortly.God help his flock in Christ that’s still left

This is very unexpected news, but God is in control, and He will see Israel through this time. Hamas may crow now (as if they had anything do do with any victory anyway — they are beaten to a frazzle, and it is Biden’s treachery to Israel that has given them their little cock-a-doodle!) but there is a saying, ‘He that laughs last laughs longest’, and those hostages are going home, no matter what devil-puppets like Biden, ‘lord’ Cameron, and anyone else with their Hamas-grimed fingers stuck in Israel’s pie might like to think. Praise God that He, as the Lord Mighty in Battle, is there forever fighting His people’s cause.
I feel very deeply my inward Jewishness, and as father said to-day, Israel’s pain is our pain. It is good to know they are preserved, whatever the world, and the devil through them, might try 🙂

In Britain, we say of such arrogance people as Biden clearly is that they are ‘too big for their boots’. Which is an awkward and uncomfortable thing to be, if one thinks about it, and he will surely find himself very awkward and uncomfortable in the not too distant future when he has to stand before the Lord Jesus Christ and try to explain what he was doing. He’ll be like a punctured balloon, and won’t even be able to open his mouth….

Basically, they are trying to figure out the so-called “Big Bang” – they are playing GOD. But some people think that they are opening portals in the Universe – evil portals where demons reside.
Things aren’t as they seem, especially in a war. I’m certainly not counting Netanyahu, IDF, Israel out; nor even down for the count. These proxies- especially Hamas, will count anything a victory, for propaganda purposes. It is far from over. There are feints; tactical retreats, and political considerations.
As to what happens here in US, we get whatever we deserve for being such a fickle “ally.” It’s just another contractor driven war to those in DC who do such things. The last time we saw anything through was WWII. Korea was a stand off.

It could — anything is on the table I imagine, when you have a near neighbour such as Israel has in Iran, who will not keep on poking one with sticks in cowardly ways through other bullies who have to take most of the pain of Israel’s retaliation. They are arrogant, and think that they can shake their fists in God’s face and that He will do nothing. Soon they will know otherwise, and it is not going to be pretty. But it is exciting to see the things the Bible tells us all coming to pass and to know that because things are just as Jesus lays out they will be at the end of time, we will soon be going to be with Him — forever! 🙂
NASA is also sending 3 rockets tomorrow, the project is called Apep after the Egyptian serpent deity, which is like the hindu deity called shiva. I believe it is in conjunction with the cern folly. Plus there will be a double emergence of cicadas (locusts) on the eastern side of our country. I know this is not the locusts of Revelation 9, but could it be a practice run?
