I got ours from HoneyBeeHealth.com. Very easy to do! I keep it on hand “just in case.”
We have it on hand too. I think it’s a bit out of date, but I’ve heard that medicine last longer than the pharma companies say.
I’m sorry, but if these are new websites, I do NOT trust them. I would think that there is an agenda behind it all. What better way to for them to ‘sneak attack’ the unjabbed by giving them tainted meds? Call me cynical, I don’t mind.
I think you may be onto something. We need to get ahead of the enemy and stay ahead of him. Thank you for your honesty.
The only One to be trusted is Jesus Christ, “… by His stripes we are healed.” part of Isaiah Chapter 53 Verse 5.
If we do all we can to eat and live in a healthy manner, by this piece of Scripture alone (and there are plenty of others through which God promises healing and health to His people — and there are no nasty side-effects or hidden nasties with Him!) we know that He has our health in His loving hands, and that whenever the enemy might attempt to assail it in any way, it is covered by the blood of Jesus, and all we need to do is ask Him for the healing He has already given us, and He will honour His Word without fail. And He always has 🙂
Do you never see a doctor (human one) or take medicine when needed? Yes, God will heal when it is His perfect will to do so. “By His stripes we are healed” speaks of spiritual healing. Are we to pray for physical healing? Absolutely. Are we to expect instantaneous physical healing for the asking. Only if it is God’s will.
As a matter of fact, no, I have not, and have never used any kind of medicine, because I have always taken the healing His stripes bought for us to literally cover both spiritual and physical healing — certainly the verse does not specify only one kind of healing.
That it is God’s will that people are healed of both physical and spiritual ailments, He ably demonstrated through the Person of Jesus Christ, Who never turned away anyone who came to Him for any kind of healing — His will to heal those who would ask Him for His healing gift, He constantly showed, and I have never found Him wanting, even if it has not always been as instantaneous as most of the miracles of healing Jesus did in Person. His promises have never failed me 🙂

Thank you very much for that link. I have read it, and do have to say, in the light of my own experiences, and those of others I know, family and otherwise, that I cannot see why anyone would actually teach that God’s Word should not be taken to mean He will provide physical, as well as spiritual healing.
Healing is of paramount importance in life, and of course is one of the things we need most, and also, unfortunately is one of the things that doctors and medicines are not always the best at doing — often, they cannot at all.
I would never think or tell someone that they should not use them; that would be silly. But I would always encourage them to seek God for all their needs, including healing, bearing in mind not only the verses we have mentioned, but also:
“Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.” Mark 11:24
‘But looking at them. Jesus said, “With men it is impossible, but not with God; for with God all things are possible.”‘ Mark 10:27
“If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.
“By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be my disciples.” John 15:7-8
These are just a few places in the Gospels where Jesus says such things, and he leaves nothing out. Healing being one of the greatest human needs, He of course has it covered every time, even if one has to wait a while before it is fully experienced. Certainly, I, and others I know personally, have healing needs of all kinds, from fairly minor cuts and gashes, through broken limbs, and right up to enormous things like the healing of a baby born with Downs Syndrome, and so we know that one can call on Him with full confidence for all healing now, and not have Him shake His head because it is too physical and has to wait until the end of days.
His Word is quite clear that as believers, and therefore disciples of His, we come into all that His Kingdom has to give, which of course includes healing if we are willing to take His Word that far.
I am not sure why the person/people on the site you linked me to would wish to try to prove that God did not mean we could have physical healing now. It is a pity to do so, for it might put off some people from developing their faith up to the point where they can trust God even for physical healing, and to receive it because of His promise.
Praise God there have been, and still are some doctors who understand how the body works and how to help it heal itself, but there is none like the Great Physician, who as creator, can heal like no one else if one comes to Him with faith that He will because of His Word 🙂
You must understand that when Bible scholars study Scripture, they look at the Greek and Hebrew. The word “Healed” in Isaiah 53 in the Greek and Hebrew means SPIRITUAL Healing.
Yes, indeed, I fully understand that, and am fortunate to have a tool on my computer which allows me to check from ‘Strong’s Hebrew and Greek Dictionaries’ the definitions of words used in the King James version of the Bible.
The Got Questions link text stated in the fourth paragraph, referring to the use and definition of the word ‘healed’: “The word “healed” as translated from both Hebrew and Greek, can mean either spiritual or physical healing.”
‘Strong’s Hebrew and Greek Dictionaries’ gives the following definition, which absolutely supports this, and strongly portrays physical healing in particular in fact: “A primitive root; properly to mend (by stitching), that is, (figuratively) to cure: – cure, (cause to) heal, physician, repair, X thoroughly, make whole.”
My father has the actual book form of Strong’s, so I should be able to check that the computer tool is giving the exact same definition as the physical book at some point — it ought to be, for it says it is quoting from it. The tool is called E-Sword, in case you might wish to know what I used 🙂
God heals when it is his perfect will to do so. When I was saved in 1983, I heard Kenneth Copeland say that if you get sick and don’t get better after prayer – that you are not a Christian. I learned to stay away from that man’s teaching. If I remember right, he or his wife got cancer in the the last few years.
Yes, I too would be chary if anyone who preached the Word of God in what sounds a rather brutal manner. That is hardly the way for any pastor/preacher/teacher, whatever they might be, to talk to people. The gentle method of teaching exampled by Jesus should be the only way; he only ever ‘got tough’ when he was talking to hard-hearted religious authorities who were dead set in their evil minds against Him. One expects any true teacher of God’s Word to be gentle and to exhort and encourage in that manner, not browbeat and threaten, as it seems this Copeland person did — I have never actually heard of him.
This morning, my sister and I found another verse which shows that, for those who will take advantage of it, it is God’s perfect will to heal His people, healing being one of the things His death bought for us, as per Isaiah 53.
In Psalm 103:2-5 David says: “Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits; Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, Who satisfies your mouth with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.”
That is what God wants to do for all His children, because of His lovingkindness and tender mercies, if nothing else; and as if healing all our diseases was not enough, he even promises that none of His people ever need to fall apart with old age too — talk about that we might have life and more abundantly! 🙂
You speak about pastors needing to be ‘gentle’ and to that I say that pastors need to PREACH THE WORD OF GOD. Was Jesus ‘gentle’ when he overturned the tables in the synagogue? TRUTH from God’s Word reigns supreme.
Absolutely, I could not agree more; but generally speaking, saying offensive things like the Copeland fellow did seems hardly the way to encourage people to exercise their faith — especially if they are feeling rather diffident. That is how Jesus always preached, the situation when He drove out all those abusers of His house — with a whip, moreover! 😀 — being partly a sign to the people, showing them Who He was, and also coming into the category of calling religious authorities broods of vipers, murderers, and adulterous. But generally, to people like you and me, He did not put on any of the Copeland-ish attitude when preaching — in fact He taught along the lines He inspired men such as Paul to write when instructing Timothy on how to conduct his ministry.
Jesus is not going to be at all gentle when He treads the winepress of God’s wrath either; but He is going to be perfectly just in that wrath.
I love Him when He is gentle, as none can be gentler; I love Him when He is angry, for none can be more just when angry; and I thank Him immensely for all His precious gifts and promises, and particularly for all the times He has healed me and my family when we have needed it and asked Him.
He is always there to take care of all His children in every way. He says to ask, and we will receive, that our joy may be full, and it is beyond doubt that the greatest fulness of joy can be enjoyed in good health 🙂
