It’s been a while since I posted an update on our brother in Christ, Dale Vernon.
I spoke with him this evening. He was transferred to another VA hospital. He asked me if I would request that we pray that the Lord would make him strong enough to go home and convalesce there.
He will need a new bed – preferably a hospital bed brought into his home. The VA is not being helpful – Dale said that he thinks that they feel that they have paid too much already. He has been in VA hospitals for over 4 months.
He would also need a nurse to come to his home – perhaps a couple of times a day for his vitals, etc.
Dale has not seen his brother for 15 years. Dale’s wife, Susan, got in touch with him and now his brother wants to come and visit Dale. His brother is not a believer, so please pray for this visit to be productive in the Lord.
Pray God’s will be done. That’s how I end all of my prayers!

That doesn’t sound good on many levels – so much for VA taking care of our vets! (angry face)
Yes – I agree! (another angry face)
Lord I ask that you would bring healing to Dale that he would be able to go home and be with family. I know you are a good God and I thank you for hearing this prayer and your touch on his life. Thank you
Amen.
Prayers for the Vernon family. Both my father& grandfather were in the VA hospitals.
Amen. Praying for all of that. Thank you for the update and Blessings.
Praying for Gods provision over Dale, Susan, and the brother. It was nice to get the update. Thx.
You are welcome 🙂
Where is he located?
He is in a new hospital and I forgot to ask him where – sorry. I will find out the address.
thank your for the update on Dale. I have been keeping him in my prayers as well as his friend Joe, and Joe’s daughter. Heavenly Father you know all about your children and our needs yet you invite, eagerly delight in bringing our request to you. So we ask that you would strengthen Dale so that he can come home to his wife Sue and also provide the hospital bed and visits from the nurse that he will need. Grant Sue the strength she will need as well in caring for her husband. Thank you for making us a family in Christ and being able to lift up one another before your throne. Nothing is to hard for you our maker, sustainer and giver of life and all good gifts. We praise and thank you father for hearing our prayer, in Jesus name
AMEN & AMEN!
Agreeing with Carol in prayer and also prayers for Dale’s brother’s salvation.
