A Blessed Day…….

I have smiled so much today that my face actually hurts!

Some readers know that I have been struggling with my health for quite a while. On top of that, the GP I have used for over ten years was ignoring messages from me. He used to be a great doctor and I don’t know what happened.

I have another doctor who sees me for my thyroid. I spoke with him about a month ago about my GP and how I was struggling to even get a refill on medicine. He told me that he knew a GP who I would really like. He even called her to recommend me as a new patient.

Today I saw the new doctor and I was amazed at how attentive she was about everything. She gave me four referrals to see specialists and she told me that it was important for me to make the appointments. She was surprised that my other doctor had not followed up with my health issues. I had forgotten the feeling of really being cared for by my doctor!

A New Sister in Christ

The doctor said that she needed blood drawn from me and she walked me to the lab. As I sat while the nurse got everything ready, I heard music coming from her computer.

I thought to myself that I knew that song. It was an instrumental but I couldn’t think of the name of it. Suddenly realized that it was a hymn. I looked at the nurse and asked “Is that a hymn?” She smiled and said yes.

We talked about the Lord for such a long time. We were quoting Scripture, talking about our children and mostly talking about our love for Jesus. Such sweet fellowship!

She wanted to meet Tim and came out with me. We must have hugged five times! I gave her the address to this Blog site and she said that she will visit and comment.

I just had to tell the readers about my day. It was all planned by our Lord. I felt His love wash over me. I thanked Him over and over for my sister!

GOD IS SO GOOD!!

Oh that is so cool!!!!! Praise be to our LORD JESUS CHRIST. A while back I prayed about your health issues, as my elderly mom is also having health issues and trying to find the right Dr. GOD is so good to HIS children. Can’t wait to meet you when we get to heaven. I am rejoicing with you dear sister

    1. Praise God for sending not only a caring Doctor but a beautiful Christian nurse to encourage you! Geri thank you so much for your “Absolute Truth”, that’s all I read along with my trusted Prophecy Update sources like Andy Woods, Tom Hughes, JD Farag, Pastor Brandon Holthaus, and some others. Your all a wonderful Blessing to us and give us Truth not fake news! God Bless you and your husband for all your hard work! Prayers sent your way. Love in Christ Lori

Rejoicing with you as well! Thanks for sharing this wonderful testimony of Gods faithfulness and care!

  6. Maybe ur new doc was as elated as you in meeting another sis in the Lord. Maybe she was also praying for the same kind of fellowship. Hopefully all this will bloom & ur future treatments will also be a blessing. I love those divine appointments.

  7. I got the two confused but loving the Lord is contagious. Who knows maybe there will be a mini revival in the doc’s office! Nothing is impossible with our mighty God.
You & the nurse (where 2 or more are gathered in my Name…) are enough to kick start one.

Geri, God is so good. Praises lifted up for your loving encounter with a sister in Christ. There is no substitute for this kind of encouragement…straight from the Lord! Such a blessing to know He sees us and meets our needs in ways that only He can arrange. We rejoice with you, dear.

Prayers and hugs to you XOXO
