U.S. forces in Syria were injured Friday from Iranian rocket attacks targeted American outposts, Fox News has learned.
The attacks occurred in Deir Ezzor in eastern Syria. A senior U.S. defense official said there were two separate attacks carried out by Iranian proxy forces targeting two U.S. bases.
One was a rocket attack and the other involved multiple Iranian drones, the official said. The number of casualties has not been disclosed but some may be serious. The Pentagon was assessing its response.
The attacks came after an American contractor was killed by a suspected Iranian drone that hit and injured six servicemen in northeast Syria. U.S. intelligence has assessed that the drone that struck the base was Iranian. The injured U.S. service members were in “stable” condition and have been transported to a hospital in Landstuhl, Germany, a senior U.S. defense official told Fox News Friday.
The IRGC – Iran’s primary branch of its armed forces – has backed Syrian forces under Bashar al-Assad for the past decade following the breakout of the civil war in 2011.

Bus footage shows 13-year-old Jeremy Wuitschick rushing down the aisle to the unconscious driver and grabbing the wheel Monday morning as other students yell: “Call 911!”
Wuitschick turned off the ignition and guided the bus safely onto the curb. Students started CPR on Callis until help arrived.

No hesitation, all action from the jump. Didn’t wait for anyone else to do anything. Natural born leader. Pulled the bus to the side, ducked down and hit the brakes, and saved his fellow kids. Then tried to wake the guy up, and when it was apparent something was really wrong, told another kid to hold the brake down, and bolted for a phone to call 911.
Led the whole scene all by himself. All the other kids just sat there paralyzed. They’re very lucky he was there.
Paramedics who rushed to Surprise Lake Middle School in Milton, Wash., said the Tacoma man suffered a heart attack.
Short says the 12 students on the bus and other drivers were offered counseling Thursday in light of the death.

Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg is the central figure in the Democrats’ plan to arrest and jail Donald Trump.
But Democrats just got hit with a punch in the gut.
And this damning video of the Manhattan District Attorney is the smoking gun that will get Trump off the hook.
One of the problems Democrats keep running into with prosecuting Donald Trump is the fact that Bragg is a known political hack.
Bragg ran for District Attorney in 2021 as a Soros-backed candidate who promised to arrest Donald Trump if elected into office.
In an interview with Hot 97’s Ebro in the Morning, Bragg agreed with the premise that indicting Donald Trump was the number one issue in his campaign.
“A lot of people are wondering, whoever has this job, are they going to convict Donald Trump?” host Ebro Darden asked Bragg.
“That is the number one issue,” Bragg confirmed.
Bragg then told Ebro and her listeners that he was the most experienced candidate in the race at waging lawfare against Trump.
He then listed off his experiences in suing Trump from his time in the office of the State Attorney General.
“What I’ll say is I’m the only–I was the first to announce against Cy Vance. I too have a lot of issues which is why I decided to run. I’m the candidate in the race who has the experience with Donald Trump. I was the Chief Deputy in the Attorney General’s Office. We sued the Trump administration over a hundred times. For the Muslim travel ban, for family separation at the border, for shenanigans with the census. So I know how to litigate with him.”
Bragg promised that he would pursue Trump until his office secured an indictment.
“I also led the team that did the Trump foundation case. So I’m ready to go wherever the facts take me and to inherit that case, and I think you know it’d be hard to argue with the fact that that’d be the most important high-profile case. And I’ve seen him up front and seen the lawlessness that he can do,” Bragg added.
Ebro asked if Trump should face criminal charges and Bragg readily agreed.
“I believe we have to hold him accountable,” Bragg answered. “I haven’t seen all the facts beyond the public but I’ve litigated with him, and so I’m prepared to go where the facts take me once I see them and hold them accountable.”
If Bragg actually does bring criminal charges against Trump, the fact that he made prosecuting him the top promise of his campaign proves the entire debacle is nothing more than a political witch hunt.

A judge hit deranged Florida teenager Aiden Fucci with life in prison for butchering a 13-year-old classmate for no other reason than an “internal desire to feel what it was like to kill someone.”
Circuit Judge R. Lee Smith could have sentenced Fucci to a minimum of 40 years for stabbing Tristyn Bailey 114 times, calling the crime “heinous, atrocious and cruel.”
More than 50 family members and friends packed the St. Johns County courtroom – many dabbing their eyes with tissues during the proceeding.
Fucci, 16, pleaded guilty in February on the eve of his trial to one count of first-degree murder for the May 9, 2021, killing and leaving her body in a wooded area less than a mile from his home in an upscale suburb in north Florida.

Fucci was tried as an adult but was not eligible for the death penalty because he committed the crime when he was 14.
The sentence was handed down after a two-day hearing that featured experts and victim impact statements from Bailey’s shattered family.
The slain teenager’s mother, Stacy Bailey, begged the judge through sobs Wednesday to give Fucci the maximum. “Please do not for one second think that he could be rehabilitated at any point. He is beyond saving,” she said.
In a heart-wrenching statement, the victim’s sister, Alexis Bailey, told the court that her life would never be the same.
“Our family broke that day and I don’t recognize any of us anymore,” she said.

In a March 12 handwritten letter to the judge released Thursday, Fucci apologized for the savage attack on his friend.
“First off, I want to say that I’m sorry. I’m sorry for all the pain I caused to the Baily (sic) family. I sorry to the friends, brothers, sisters, mom, dad and any other family relatives,” he wrote. He also apologized to his parents in the typo-ridden missive.
“To my mom I want to send my apawlogy’s as well. I’m sorry that she had to move her house because people were sending threats to the house and my family. And that my little brother and sister had to chage school’s because of me. Mom now I miss your lemon peper chicken. I miss your hug’s. I miss you. The longer I’m in her the more I forget the more memories I lose. I’ll never forget you love me.”

The horrific slaying has shaken the tight-knit community in St. Johns County, about 30 miles south of Jacksonville.
Bailey, a competitive cheerleader who had four older siblings, attended Patriot Oaks Academy alongside Fucci. The night of her murder, she was hanging out with Fucci and another classmate after sneaking out of her house.

She was last seen alive on surveillance video walking with Fucci at 1:45 a.m. on a quiet street in Durban Crossing toward a wooded area. About two hours later, Fucci was seen emerging from the wooded area carrying his Nike sneakers in his arms.
The next morning, Mother’s Day, her family realized she was not in her room and reported her missing. Hours later, a jogger came upon her body near a pond in the neighborhood.

State Attorney RJ Larizza previously revealed that Bailey had 49 defensive wounds on her hands, arms and head, and that the tip of the hunting knife Fucci used to slaughter her broke off in her skull.
After deputies with the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office took Fucci in for questioning, he recorded a disturbing Snapchat video of himself in the back of a police car. “Having fun in a f—ing cop car,” he says, including the sinister caption, “Hey guys has anyone seen Tristyn lately?”
Fucci’s friends later told investigators that he fantasized about violence and murderin the weeks before the slaying, saying he was going to kill someone in the next month.
“If he were going to kill someone it was going to be planned. He was going to find a random person at night, drag them into the woods and stab them,” a friend told investigators. source
