Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will pay an in-person visit to Congress on Wednesday as lawmakers prepare to pass a budget that includes more than $45 billion in new military and humanitarian aid for his country.
Zelenskyy is set to address Members of Congress on Wednesday. The Ukrainian president is expected to praise lawmakers for their support as his nation fights off an unprovoked invasion by Russia. Zelenskyy is also expected to argue that the war is by no means won and that more help is needed.
The visit comes as the Senate is slated to take up President Biden’s $1.7 trillion spending bill this week. The legislation includes more than $45 billion in additional aid to Ukraine.
A large portion of Republicans in both the House and Senate are expected to join with Democrats to approve the bill.
“Providing assistance for Ukrainians to defeat the Russians is the No. 1 priority for the United States right now according to most Republicans,” said Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky.

Not everyone is on board, however. Some GOP lawmakers have argued that the additional funding, which would bring the U.S. commitment to war over the $110 billion mark, is improper without greater accountability.
“We should have a separate vote on additional Ukraine funding,” said Rep. Thomas Massie, R-Ky. “Most of my constituents do not wish to have their money sent to Ukraine, especially not without oversight or an audit.” SOURCE

I know people who actually thought this war was about Russia and Ukraine, that Zelenskyy is a hero and that it would be all done within 60 days. People would do very well to read how WWI started. Zelenskyy is a profiteering puppet, doing as he is told by the highest placed globalists, all for money and, apparently, for his soul.
Of course, ultimately we know how this is going to turn out. But if anyone thinks that Russia is going to lose, they are seriously deluded. They should read their Bibles because Russia is in the Last Days but the USA is no where to be found. Yes, Russia will lose everything as well…but it appears they go down after we do.

According to Ezekiel 38 and 39 Russia is so strong, no one wants to mess with their invasion, so it’s logical to assume that they’re going to win this one.
Maybe no one messes with Russia before the Ezekiel 38-39 War because they nuke us into the dark ages. That would shut every mouth.
DBM, I agree with you. Russians don’t mess around. Look at them during WW2, they fought hard with Nazi Germany. They refused to lose to Germany. Since that, Russian government kept their nation safe for years.
My opinion, I think there is going to be peace between Ukraine and Russia. I can be wrong. I don’t believe Russia will nuke at Europe because this is when AC will rise from Europe. AC needed strong Armies.

I am just amazed (but probably shouldn’t be) that so many are still so deceived by that wicked man. Ukraine has a history of corruption that apparently people didn’t know or have forgotten about. Then this little “savior” pops up and everybody grovels at his feet, without even knowing about his past. Where is the discernment from the body of Christ? Hang on, sisters and brothers, surely we’ll be headed UP soon!
