For the last couple of days, I have struggled to find topics on which to write. Oh, there are many things happening at the hands of the evil Globalists, but as I pondered which to cover, I was struck with such sadness and anxiety. I had a case of “writer’s block” but I believe that the Lord caused this for my own good and especially for the good of the readers.
From the time of the rigged election to suffering through the C-19 years; and now facing the war between Russia and Ukraine, it just seems as if we are on a slippery slope from one catastrophe to the next.
And now we may be facing a world-wide famine.
Today it struck me that we are focusing on events which bring us sadness and uncertainty. But then I thought “God is in control! He is allowing all these things to happen.”
Lately, I have been going to Matthew 24 and I read it over and over. It helps me when I read words from our Lord Jesus which warn of the things to come. It excites me that our God really does know the end from the beginning! Jesus has known the events happening in our world today even before the foundations of the earth were laid.
Think about that!
Let Him speak to your heart through His Holy Word:
Psalm 147:5
“Great is our Lord and abundant in strength;
His understanding is infinite“
1 John 3:20
“In whatever our heart condemns us; for God is greater than our heart and knows all things“
Psalm 139:4
“Even before there is a word on my tongue,
Behold, O Lord, You know it all“
Matthew 10:30
“But the very hairs of your head are all numbered“
Psalm 147:4
“He counts the number of the stars;
He gives names to all of them”
Hebrews 4:13
“And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are open and laid bare to the eyes of Him with whom we have to do“
Psalm 139:1-4
For the choir director. A Psalm of David.
“O Lord, You have searched me and known me.
You know when I sit down and when I rise up;
You understand my thought from afar.
You scrutinize my path and my lying down,
And are intimately acquainted with all my ways.
Even before there is a word on my tongue,
Behold, O Lord, You know it all“
Psalm 44:21
“Would not God find this out?
For He knows the secrets of the heart“
1 Chronicles 28:9
“As for you, my son Solomon, know the God of your father, and serve Him with a whole heart and a willing mind; for the Lord searches all hearts, and understands every intent of the thoughts. If you seek Him, He will let you find Him; but if you forsake Him, He will reject you forever“
Isaiah 40:28
“Do you not know? Have you not heard?
The Everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth
Does not become weary or tired.
His understanding is inscrutable“
Isaiah 46:9-10
“Remember the former things long past,
For I am God, and there is no other;
I am God, and there is no one like Me,
Declaring the end from the beginning,
And from ancient times things which have not been done,
Saying, ‘My purpose will be established,
And I will accomplish all My good pleasure“
Psalm 139:1-3
For the choir director. A Psalm of David.
“O Lord, You have searched me and known me.
You know when I sit down and when I rise up;
You understand my thought from afar.
You scrutinize my path and my lying down,
And are intimately acquainted with all my ways“
1 Kings 8:39
“then hear in heaven Your dwelling place, and forgive and act and render to each according to all his ways, whose heart You know, for You alone know the hearts of all the sons of men“
Acts 1:24
“And they prayed and said, “You, Lord, who know the hearts of all men, show which one of these two You have chosen”
And He does know all things. And out of His abundant love for His own, He has left us with His own Word to show us that He truly is ALMIGHTY GOD!
We are so blessed!
MARANATHA!!
Encouragement. Appropriate for these times. I too sense from the Lord to endure, be strong, no fear and encourage the brothers and sisters.
Hard times are coming, but the Lord is still on the throne and in total control.
He’ll get us home right at the perfect time!
Love you articles, Gering.
God bless you!
God bless you too 🙂
“And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto Myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.” May your lamp always be filled with pure oil as we await that trumpet blast announcing the Bridegroom.
thanks sister Geri–great!!!🤠
God bless you Geri. Needed to be encouraged and you do it well. Hope your grandson Ethan is feeling better.
He is much better, thank you for asking 🙂
Amen, Sister Geri. Thank you for letting the Holy Spirit guide you. God Bless You!
Excellent decision! Thank you for all you do for “The Remnant.” Blessings to you & Tim & family.
A blessed thank you. Bad stuff will get worse. But we are told this must happen and to be of good cheer. Like Jesus we can overcome the world even as the devil pounds upon the earth. We will in Christ live to the end or take a short nap. There is nothing to fear if right in Christ. There are not nice things like pain or hunger or thirst but still nothing to fear. The horrid times we rolling fast into will not be a long but rather short period. We were told the end time would be a strange work but also a quick work. Persevere and have internal peace and be kind to any of Gods flock.
Amen! God bless you Geri!
Wonderful post, Geri! Yes, we remnent believers need to keep our eyes on God’s promises! I would also recommend listening to today’s Jan Markell program, with Terry James and Pete Garcia as her guests. (OliveTreeViews.org) Especially if one is looking for the Rapture to happen anytime now.
Beautiful, encouraging Scriptures. Thank you for this timely post.
Prayers for you and your family. God Bless….
Amen . Thank ;you.
Thank you for the uplifting words in an increasingly dark world, Geri! I am reminded of the verse in Psalm 2 where “He sits on His throne and laughs”. He holds us in His righteous right hand! Praise Jesus!
Amen!
