One of the most dangerous agents of the evil one in this present age is Oprah Winfrey.  She has the ear of millions of people who look to her for answers to virtually every question in their lives. Her charisma and success in this life apparently lends her credibility; so much so, that her followers cling to her every word – even about heaven and how to get there.

Oprah teaches her misguided followers, that there are many paths to heaven – not strictly through Jesus Christ and His death and resurrection. I am sure that if Oprah taught correctly from the Bible, her audience and following would be greatly diminished. When I listen to Oprah and her lies, I can almost hear a hisssssss. She is actually saying “Did God really say these things?”  Just devilish……

Lucifer

Question: “Is Lucifer Satan? Does the fall of Lucifer describe Satan?”

Answer: There is no verse or passage in the Bible that says, “Lucifer is Satan,” but an examination of several passages reveals that Lucifer can be none other than Satan. The fall of Lucifer described in Isaiah 14:12 is likely the same that Jesus referred to in Luke 10:18: “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven.” A similar fall is depicted in Ezekiel 28. 
Isaiah 14:12-18 describes the fall from heaven of one called “Lucifer” in the King James Version and the “morning star, son of the dawn” in the NIV. Other Bible versions call him “Day Star,” “shining star,” and “the bright morning star.” These variations are due to differences of opinion about how to translate the Hebrew word helel. Regardless, the description of the one referred to shows us it can be none other than Satan. We know from Jesus’ own words in Luke 10 that Satan fell from heaven. So, when Isaiah refers to Lucifer or helel being cast down to earth (Isaiah 14:12), it can be none other than Satan. The reason for his fall is found in verses 13 and 14: “You said in your heart, ‘I will ascend to heaven; I will raise my throne above the stars of God; I will sit enthroned on the mount of assembly, on the utmost heights of the sacred mountain. I will ascend above the tops of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High.’” This has always been Satan’s desire – to be God, and it is the very temptation he used in the Garden of Eden to get Eve to disobey God: “You shall be as God” (Genesis 3:5).

Ezekiel 28 is another passage thought to refer to Lucifer/Satan. Although it begins with Ezekiel being commanded by God to “take up a lament concerning the king of Tyre” (v. 12), an evil idolatrous king, it soon becomes clear that the passage is referring as well to the power behind that king—Satan. Verse 13 says he was “in Eden, the garden of God.” Clearly, the king of Tyre was never in Eden. Verse 14 says, “You were anointed as a guardian cherub, for so I ordained you.” Apparently, Lucifer/Satan had a position of guardian angel in heaven “among the fiery stones,” thought to be the shining precious jewels that are seen in other descriptions of heaven (Exodus 24:10; Revelation 21:18-21). Since the king of Tyre was never in heaven, either, this can only be describing Lucifer. The rest of the passage describes the reason he was cast out of heaven. Because of his beauty, his heart became proud and his wisdom was corrupted (v. 17). Pride in his perfection, wisdom and beauty (v. 12) became the source of his downfall, and God threw him to the earth (v. 17). This was witnessed by the Lord Jesus in heaven before His incarnation (Luke 10:18).

To summarize, the Hebrew word helel is translated “Lucifer.” He was cast out of heaven for his sin of pride and his desire to be God. Jesus referred to seeing Satan being cast out of heaven. Therefore, we can conclude that Lucifer and Satan are one and the same. – source

Satan in the Garden of Eden

Genesis 3: 1-6

“Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LordGod had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?

 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:

 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.

And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:

 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.”  (Emphasis mine)

From the time in the Garden of Eden, Satan has roamed the earth, seeking those whom he wishes to devour and destroy.  He knows the Word of God and uses it. But in order to deceive and confuse, he mixed the Word with lies. He is the master deceiver.

Satan works through people like Oprah Winfrey, but he is also in our churches. There are hundreds of pastors who do not belong to Jesus, but week after week, they deliver sermons to the weak and unsuspecting congregations – filled with half truths, which are lies.

There is absolute truth!   Relative truth is one of Satan’s ways to delude people.  He will use a “pastor” and have him preach to his congregation that certainly there must be many ways to heaven; after all, look at all the people who do such wonderful things for others. Just because they don’t say that Jesus Christ is the only way to heaven – should that exclude them from an eternity with God?  Hath God really said………?

Do you believe the Word of God?

Are you grounded in God’s Word? Do you believe that the Word of God is inerrant and “God-breathed?”

Or are you in a church in which the leadership dances around truth? Is your pastor more of a philosopher than a preacher of the Word of God?  Are his sermons filled with opinions and rationalizations?   Does your pastor preach that there is no literal hell?  Does your pastor never use the Bible from which to preface his sermons; but instead uses quotes from people about the Bible?

Emergent Churches

If you are in a church which practices contemplative prayer (eastern meditation) and is moving closer and closer to the Catholic church and its false doctrines – you need to leave that church at once, and never look back. Those who lead Emergent churches are tools of Satan to bring the Strong Delusion of which is spoken in God’s Holy Word.

Every Word of the Bible is TRUTH. Satan’s mission is to destroy the foundation on which we as Christians stand.  He plants questions in our minds so that we begin to question God Himself.

The Narrow Gate

 ^“Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it” (Matthew 7:13-14)

Broad is the way that leads to destruction. Are you on that road?

Many people probably think that the importance of this presidential election is economic. Our national deficit hovers a little over $20 trillion dollars. That’s a big problem.

Unemployment

Even though our government reports our unemployment at 5% – economists know that this is false. So many are underemployed and even more just stopped looking for jobs, so they are not even factored into our unemployment numbers any longer.  The true number of unemployed is over 40% – Donald Trump said it was 40% and people laughed. But Forbes agrees with him, and the Wall Street Journal says that Trump’s number is too low. They are claiming that it’s over 60%.

Terrorism

We turn on the news each day and wonder if we have been attacked during the night.  We know that Obama is pressuring the government to take in thousands – maybe millions of Syrian ‘refugees’ without vetting them. This man cannot even utter the words “Radical Islamic Terrorism.”  He is more concerned about the terrorists than he is about the American people.

Shrinking Military

The Pentagon plans to cut our military to pre WWII levels. In this incredibly dangerous world, with Iran, North Korea and ISIS – our president is making sure that we do not have the military muscle to protect ourselves.  Obama hates America. His plans to fundamentally transform our country have come to fruition.  The liberals still don’t understand that he meant he was going to destroy us.  They believe and trust everything that comes out of his mouth.

ISRAEL

Our economy and unemployment and terrorism and our military are all very important issues.  But nothing compares to how our president treats Israel. NOTHING.

Barack Hussein Obama hates Israel, and he has not hidden this from the world.  He has treated PM Netanyahu far worse than any other president has treated a leader of Israel since 1948, when Israel was declared the Jewish State.

Hillary Clinton hates Israel. Actually, she has a long history of anti Semitism.  I have read stories about Mrs. Clinton which make me cringe. Her hatred of Jews and Israel is no secret.

Bernie Sanders – a nice Jewish guy, right? WRONG. He cares nothing for Israel and her security. He was quoted in the last few days as saying that Israel killed around 10,000 innocent Palestinians in the last conflict. First of all, there were around 1500 killed; secondly, this was in response to the Palestinian rocket attacks.  These people were not innocent. Bernie Sanders is a self hating Jew.

Donald Trump has been wishy washy in his response to questions about Israel. Sometimes he says he would stand with her; other times he says it wouldn’t be fair to the Palestinians.  Really?  Well, which is it?

Ted Cruz loves Israel.  He has always loved Israel. He knows what the Bible says about people who curse or bless Israel.

“Now the Lord had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee: And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed” (Genesis 12:1-3).  (Emphasis mine)

Brethren – I believe that if we vote in another person who curses Israel, we will be destroyed. I believe that God will take His hand of protection away from us. I believe this to the core of my being.

I am surprised that the Lord has kept us this long, but in light of Bible prophecy and the events happening in this world – America will certainly be no more.

I’ve written a few articles about my search for the truth – who was this man named Jesus, and why was I blamed for His death?

There were many names hurled at me during my school years. Dirty Jew – kike, and others, but the one name that got to me the most was ‘Christ killer.’ I would lie awake at night and ponder this. Did my people really kill Him, and if so, why?

I never read the New Testament until 1983, when I was born again. But up to that point, I was so confused as to why my people were accused of Jesus’ death.

My dad used to tell us that Jesus was a good man – a prophet of sorts. He said that if the world lived by his teachings, it would be a wonderful thing. BUT……. (I knew that ‘but’ was coming) He wasn’t who He said He was.

Many years later, as a believer, I heard a sermon on this very subject. It was called “Christ – “Liar, Lunatic or Lord.”  I thought back to what my dad had told me.  I thought “Good men don’t lie!”  And He certainly wasn’t a lunatic. That only left one thing: LORD.

A little background on my dad

Dad grew up in an orthodox family. They kept kosher. They didn’t dare speak the name of Jesus.  He went to Hebrew high school. He loved God very much, but he was taught that God had no son. One God. He just didn’t know that our One God had three separate persons – Father, Son and Holy Spirit, but that He was truly ONE GOD.

“Sh’ma Yisrael, Adonai Eloheinu, Adonai Echod.”

“Here O Israel, the Lord your God, the Lord is One.” I still love to sing this.

But where had my dad learned the teachings of Jesus? I never really thought about this until after I was saved. Someone, perhaps during WWII, told him about Jesus.  During his last years on this earth, he never missed a Billy Graham Crusade. It drove my mom nuts!

In another article, I recalled that precious night when the Lord allowed me to lead my dad in prayer to Jesus. He died two hours later. I can’t wait to be reunited with him.

The goodness of God

Jesus Christ came to this earth for one reason. He came to die for the sins of the world; that whosoever would believe in Him would be saved.  God not only allowed His crucifixion, but it was His Perfect will that His Son would die on that Cross and then rise from the dead. God loves us that much, that He would send his only Son to die. I can hardly take that in, but I am eternally grateful!

Satan has deceived so many regarding the Jews

My husband and I do not have a church presently. I need a thicker skin. We invariably run into people within the church who still have that “Christ killer” mentality. Their anti Semitism is so engrained within their hearts, that it comes out while in conversation with me.

I wonder to myself, have these people ever read Romans 11?  Do they realize that Jesus Himself walked the earth as a Jew? Do they know that the whole Bible was written by Jewish men under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit?

Perhaps this is wrong of me, but I do wonder if those who come to church, yet hate the Jewish people and Israel, were ever truly saved.  I have had people say to me “But it doesn’t say that people have to love the Jews to be saved.” But it does say that a person must first “repent” and then believe.  Have these people repented of their hatred for the Jews?

I feel strongly to place the whole of Romans 11 in this piece. PLEASE read every word carefully. There is so much truth in Paul’s words. Much anti Semitism could be eradicated if only people understood what Paul was teaching about the Jews and their relationship to God in Romans 11!

Romans 11:  ( I am bolding very important words of Paul)

“I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.

 God hath not cast away his people which he foreknew. Wot ye not what the scripture saith of Elias? how he maketh intercession to God against Israel saying,

Lord, they have killed thy prophets, and digged down thine altars; and I am left alone, and they seek my life.

 But what saith the answer of God unto him? I have reserved to myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to the image of Baal.

Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace.   

**Praise God – I am part of that remnant!

 And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then it is no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.

 What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded.

 (According as it is written, God hath given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear;) unto this day.

And David saith, Let their table be made a snare, and a trap, and a stumblingblock, and a recompence unto them:

 Let their eyes be darkened, that they may not see, and bow down their back alway.

 I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: but rather through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy.

**(Are Gentiles provoking the Jews to jealousy? Not those who have a hatred for them and for Israel.)

 Now if the fall of them be the riches of the world, and the diminishing of them the riches of the Gentiles; how much more their fulness?

 For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office:

 If by any means I may provoke to emulation them which are my flesh, and might save some of them.

 For if the casting away of them be the reconciling of the world, what shall the receiving of them be, but life from the dead?

 For if the firstfruit be holy, the lump is also holy: and if the root be holy, so are the branches.

 And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert grafted in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree;

 Thou wilt say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be grafted in.

** It is God Himself who keeps us saved. If it were up to us, we would all be damned to hell!

 Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.

 And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be grafted in: for God is able to graft them in again.

 For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert grafted contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree?

** I thank my God for this!  For I was grafted again into my own olive tree! We must come to the Father through Jesus Christ – He is the ONLY way.

 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.

** For those Gentiles who despise my people – read this passage again. Can you see that in this mystery, blindness came to my people in part so that the Gentiles might gain access to heaven?

 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:

** The Deliverer – our Yeshua, the Lord of Glory!

For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.

 As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the father’s sakes.

For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.

** The Jewish people will always belong to God. The Gospel of Jesus Christ caused a time where those who did not believe became an “enemy” of the Cross, but God keeps them (the Jews) because of his Own sake. They are HIS people! He cannot go against His own promises!

 For as ye in times past have not believed God, yet have now obtained mercy through their unbelief:

 Even so have these also now not believed, that through your mercy they also may obtain mercy.

 For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all.

** This was God’s plan from the beginning – that through His people, the Jews, the whole world would be blessed!

  ^“That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies. And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.”(Genesis 22:17-18)

O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!

For who hath known the mind of the Lord? or who hath been his counsellor?

 Or who hath first given to him, and it shall be recompensed unto him again?

For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen.”

If the world could only understand that Jesus had to go to the Cross – that it was the plan of the Father all along. But those who are blinded cannot see. They will continue to call the Jews “Christ Killers.” They will continue to listen to the voice of satan.

The irony is amazing – without the death and resurrection of Jesus; and the partial hardening of the Jewish people to the Cross, the Gentiles would have never been able to be saved!
