Months ago, I wrote an article on the journey that my husband and I went on after he was diagnosed with Squamous Cell Carcinoma. Oncologists converged upon us and told us what we HAD to do — that included surgery, chemotherapy and radiation.
The cancer was in my husband’s larynx (voice box). We were told that my husband would have to have part of his neck removed and all of his larynx. They said that he had stage 4 cancer. The cancer had spread to his lymph nodes in his neck.
On the way home, we both felt an urgency to pray and research……pray and research. I wrote this article six months later:
