The Mystical New Age Roots of Jesus Calling
We have been searching for a Bible based church. For a long time, my husband and I have been worshiping from home; watching pastors and preachers whom we have come to trust and love via Youtube. We do miss fellowship and we are aware that God wants us to be in fellowship with other believers.
For the last two Sundays we visited a Baptist church. This church ordains women as pastors. The head pastor is a man. We do not believe that the Word of God supports women being pastors.
Knowing that we will probably not find a church where we agree on every point, we know that some things are essential, while others are non-essential to salvation. I have often spoken of the slippery slope in many of my articles that leadership finds itself on when they stray from the Word. It is inevitable.
A baby was being dedicated on the first Sunday we visited the new church. A book was presented to the parents of the baby. The name of the book was Jesus Calling. I had read about this book, and knew that it was very controversial, but I had no idea how wrong this book was for any Christian to be reading.
I know that this article is going to upset many people who have come to love Jesus Calling. My job as a writer is to speak truth. I have no control over the readers’ reaction, but I must speak truth; and hopefully I will reach some Christians with the truth. I pray that this piece will help many to see that Jesus Calling is not a book that Jesus would have them read.
Jesus Calling is a New Age mystical book which Christians should completely avoid.
SOLA SCRIPTURA

Question: “What is sola scriptura?”
Answer: The phrase sola scriptura is from the Latin: sola having the idea of “alone,” “ground,” “base,” and the word scriptura meaning “writings”—referring to the Scriptures. Sola scriptura means that Scripture alone is authoritative for the faith and practice of the Christian. The Bible is complete, authoritative, and true. “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness” (2 Timothy 3:16). [1]
It says in Timothy 3:16, that all Scripture is God-breathed. Just as He breathed life into Adam, He breathed the Words of the Bible – penned by men, but under His inspiration. It is so vitally important for the believer to read God’s Word. It is food for the soul. God speaks to us through His Word.
Have you ever read a verse of Scripture that you have read many times before, but suddenly the words just jumped off the page and into your heart? God was speaking to you through His Word, and helping you with whatever you were going through at that particular time.
“For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart” (Hebrews 4:12)
JESUS CALLING
The author of this book, Sarah Young, modeled her book after God Calling, a book written in the early 1930s. This book was written by two “listeners” who said that they would come into the presence of God and begin to write what they thought He was saying. It is a New Age practice called automatic writing. The New Age followers believe that they are channeling spirits who impart knowledge to them. We know that these so-called spirits are demons.
Isn’t it just like Satan to deceive the children of God? In Jesus Calling, Sarah Young also claims that she came into God’s presence and listened and then wrote what she felt He was saying to her. She writes as if Jesus Himself is speaking.
Doesn’t it make you wonder who was saying the things for Miss Young to write? I have skimmed through many of the writings in this book, and on the surface they seem innocuous. But I have wondered why so many millions of Christians would resort to reading this book, when we have the Word of God. Why do they need more? Who is whispering to them that they need more?
I see that Sarah Young now has a book out for children, and even a Jesus Calling bible! This alarms me, and makes me wonder why so many Christians lack discernment. It is obvious to me that Satan is confusing and deceiving God’s children. But if these same people would read the Word of God, they would see that everything they need to know is right there in His Word!
Harper Collins publishes “Jesus Calling” books. Harper Collins also publishes the Satanic Bible. Coincidence? I think not.
Back to the church that my husband and I visited; we had the pastor come to our home to speak with us about some of our concerns. I had already told him about being alarmed that the church would present Jesus Calling to the parents of a baby being dedicated. When we began to speak with him about this, he shut us down by saying that his wife loves Jesus Calling and that all of these books bring her peace. So, the book is okay because his wife loves it? I was speechless.
I began to connect the dots. I thought to myself that this pastor believes that it is okay to ordain women as pastors, and he was influenced by his wife about the spiritual legitimacy of Jesus Calling. My mind traveled back to the Scriptures about the Garden of Eden. It was Eve who was deceived by Satan. Adam sinned willfully. I believe that he did this because of his love for Eve. He put her above God.
If this pastor believed the Word of God, and studied it as any pastor should, he would have seen the error of his ways. God would have spoken to him through His Word. But instead he did what he thought was right.
“There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death” (Proverbs 14:12).
WARREN SMITH ON JESUS CALLING
Warren Smith wrote a book entitled Another Jesus Calling. In this insightful book, Mr. Smith asks the question “Is this really our Savior speaking?” I would encourage any readers of this article, who are defensive about Sarah Young’s book, to purchase Another Jesus Calling. Warren Smith believes (as I do) that this is just part of the Emerging Church movement, where contemplative prayer and eastern mediation is encouraged.
Please pass this article on to anyone you know who is reading Jesus Calling. I pray that the Lord will bring many away from this counterfeit book and back into His book – the Bible.

Will Hillary’s Emails Expose Her Close Ties to the Muslim Brotherhood?
For the last six years, the American public has had to watch the POTUS welcoming his close friends from the Muslim Brotherhood into the White House. The only other group which came close in number of visits to the White House were the LGBT lobbyists. This president is an arrogant Marxist elitist ideologue, who cares not for the little people.
Now we are rapidly approaching the 2016 presidential election. We will be subjected to the liberal rhetoric coming from the left, ad nauseam. The front runner on the Democratic side, Hillary Clinton, is a dangerous woman. The purpose of this article is to wake up the American voters — especially those still on the fence. These independents are always the ones who impact election outcomes. This election will, in my opinion, be the most important election in the history of our country.
There are too many Hillary scandals to write about them all. I feel that this woman’s association with the Muslim Brotherhood is key to her being brought down by the Republicans. I hope that whomever is chosen to be the Republican candidate, will hammer Clinton on this subject in debates. I am assuming that Clinton will be the Democratic choice for the run.
Emailgate is all part of her association with the Muslim Brotherhood. She deleted over 30,000 emails from her private server, during her tenure as Secretary of State. Many believe that a good portion of her deleted emails were about her partnership with radical Muslims in the Middle East.
Now, on to evidence which should bring her down. In reality, the things she has done deserve incarceration. She is a traitor to this nation.
HILLARY’S SENIOR AID, HUMA ABEDIN AND BENGHAZI

“Hillary’s top aide with terror ties saw all emails – A full review of Hillary Clinton’s personal emails released last Friday by the State Department finds Clinton’s senior aide, Huma Abedin, was exposed to highly sensitive U.S. government information.
It was Abedin who forwarded to Clinton’s personal email address details about the initial establishment of the U.S. special mission in Benghazi, updates about security threats to both the mission and Ambassador Chris Stevens, intelligence on the growing terrorist threat in Libya and insider information on the Sept. 11, 2012 attack in Benghazi.
Abedin was privy to emails that contained the exact movements of Stevens while he was stationed in arguably one of the most dangerous zones in the world for any American diplomat.
WND previously reported on Abedin’s personal and family ties to the Muslim Brotherhood and other to Islamic supremacists.
The connections not only extend to her mother and father, who are both deeply tied to al-Qaida fronts, but to Abedin herself, as WND previously reported in a series of exposés.
While she worked at the State Department, Abedin was also a paid employee at Teneo, a strategic consulting firm that specializes in investment banking, business intelligence and restructuring services.
Emails exposed ambassador’s movements
In one of dozens of emails released last week that included Abedin as among its recipients, on April 24, 2011, Abedin forwarded to Clinton’s personal email an internal State Department email from that same day written by Timmy Davis and sent to Abedin as well as to the State Department email addresses of other employees, including Clinton’s then-foreign policy aide, Jacob Sullivan.
The email cited a local report stating hotels in Benghazi were being targeted.
The email stated the interim Libyan government “conducted a raid on a house/storage facility and found and arrested an Egyptian cell reportedly there for the purpose of attacking hotels.”
Despite the threat, the email revealed Stevens “still feels comfortable in the hotel,” meaning the email exposed that the ambassador would continue to stay there.
“They are looking into the idea of moving into a villa, but that is some way off,” the email continued. “Based on discussion with DS yesterday, the hotel remains the safest location.”
Startlingly, the email contained information about Stevens’ exact movements, including that he “will be meeting with MFA in one hour and will make a written request for better security at the hotel and for better security-related coordination.”
Another sent to Clinton from Abedin detailed Stevens’ movements regarding his hotel stay.
“The envoy’s delegation is currently doing a phased checkout (paying the hotel bills, moving some comms to the boat, etc.),” wrote Abedin. “He (Stevens) will monitor the situation to see if it deteriorates further, but no decision has been made on departure. He will wait 2-3 more hours, then revisit the decision on departure.”
A March 27, 2011, email forwarded by Abedin to Clinton contained updates about the plans for the Benghazi mission’s establishment.
The email reads: “We expect to get support in particular from the Turks who have a consulate in Benghazi. Mr. Stevens team has been in touch with Africom planners on the details of the mission. We have made the official request for support from OSD but have yet to get approval. Once we have that – and we hope that will be very soon – we will be able to move forward with the planning.”
Another email forwarded to Clinton by Abedin briefed Clinton about such specific matters as mission staffing and the temporary rotation of personnel at the mission.
“I want to let you know about a temporary rotation in Benghazi,” read the April 22, 2011 email from then-Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs Jeffrey Feltman.
“TNC Envoy Chris Stevens has been on the road since March 13, when he began his outreach mission, and has been in Benghazi since April 5. (blacked out obvious security request) … I know how important it is to have continual coverage (security conditions permitting) in Benghazi. I will send Embassy Tripoli’s DCM Joan Polaschik to serve as Acting Envoy during Chris’ absence.”
Private consulting firm
Abedin served as Clinton’s deputy chief of staff in the State Department until taking maternity leave in early 2012. In June 2012, she returned to the State Department while her title changed to deputy “special government employee.” According to reports, Abedin performed the mostly the same tasks under her new role.
When she returned in June 2012 she also worked for Teneo, a strategic consulting firm founded by Doug Band, a former adviser to President Bill Clinton. Teneo’s clients have included Coca-Cola and MF Global, the collapsed brokerage firm run by former New Jersey Governor Jon S. Corzine.
Besides her consultancy job, Abedin advised the William Jefferson Clinton Foundation as well.
“The picture that emerges from interviews and records suggests a situation where the lines were blurred between Ms. Abedin’s work in the high echelons of one of the government’s most sensitive executive departments and her role as a Clinton family insider,” reported the New York Times in May 2013.
Muslim Brotherhood, al-Qaida fronts
Major news media profiles of Abedin, meanwhile, report she was born of Pakistani and Indian parents, without delving much further into her family’s history.
Abedin was an assistant editor for a dozen years for the Journal of Muslim Minority Affairs for the Institute for Muslim Minority Affairs. The institute – founded by her late father and currently directed by her mother – is backed by the Muslim World League, an Islamic organization in the Saudi holy city of Mecca that was founded by Muslim Brotherhood leaders.
WND reported Abedin also was a member of the executive board of the Muslim Student Association, which was identified as a Muslim Brotherhood front group in a 1991 document introduced into evidence during the terror-financing trial of the Texas-based Holy Land Foundation.
At her father’s Saudi-financed Islamic think tank, WND reported, Abedin worked alongside Abdullah Omar Naseef, who is accused of financing al-Qaida fronts.
Naseef is deeply connected to the Abedin family.
WND was first to report Huma’s mother, Saleha Abedin, was the official representative of Naseef’s terror-stained Muslim World League in the 1990s.
Islam researcher Walid Shoebat previously reported that as one of 63 leaders of the Muslim Sisterhood, the de facto female version of the Muslim Brotherhood, Saleha Abedin served alongside Najla Ali Mahmoud, the wife of Muslim Brotherhood figure Mohammed Morsi, Egypt’s now-ousted president.” [1]
Are the puzzle pieces beginning to fit? Hillary’s friendship with decision makers in the Middle East goes back some 20 years. Abedin is an integral part of the Muslim Sisterhood. She was able to view and act on many sensitive emails from Hillary’s private server. As Valerie Jared is known to “run” the Obama White House, I believe that Huma Abedin acted likewise for Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton.
MONEY FOR ARMS DEALS POURING INTO CLINTON FOUNDATION FROM ARABIC COUNTRIES

NAGLA MAHMOUD, WIFE OF MORSI, THREATENS TO RELEASE EMAILS
The wife of former president of Egypt, Mohamed Morsi, has been threatening to release what she says are emails between Clinton and Morsi, which would clearly show the special relationship between the Muslim Brotherhood and the Obama administration.

“In the words of El-Mogaz News, Morsi’s wife “is threatening to expose the special relationship between her husband and Hillary Clinton, after the latter attacked the ousted [president], calling him a simpleton who was unfit for the presidency. Sources close to Nagla confirmed that she has threatened to publish the letters exchanged between Morsi and Hillary.”
The report continues by saying that Nagla accuses Hillary of denouncing her former close ally, the Brotherhood’s Morsi, in an effort to foster better relations with his successor, Egypt’s current president, Sisi—even though, as Nagla laments, “he [Morsi] was faithful to the American administration.” [3]
MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD – WHY DO THEY MATTER?
The MB presents themselves as peaceful and non threatening. They consistently condemn acts of violence by jihadists. They use “tyiqqa” constantly. That is permissible lying, if the lie will help radical Muslims to get into power, or infiltrate countries, worldwide, and implement sharia law. I believe that Hillary Clinton has been paid millions of dollars by the Islamist nations. Much of this money has been funneled through the Clinton Foundation in exchange for whatever arms or military equipment is required.
Hillary Clinton is the enemy of America. Those who would vote for her, are the dumbed down individuals, who never keep up on current events or world happenings. They are duped by this extremely dangerous woman. Clinton has been a solid backer of Planned Parenthood for many years. This is one major reason that she remains the frontrunner for the Democrats. Another reason is that she is a woman.
We have Carly Fiorina on the Republican side. I pray that she does so well in debates, that she will emerge as our pick for the Republican presidential candidate. She is pro-Life and is a highly intelligent women, who will dwarf Hillary in a debate forum.
Brethren, pray that Hillary Clinton will be brought down and will not be our next president. I do believe that America deserves God’s judgment, but I love my country, and I still hold out hope that God will forgive those on their knees, and we will once again see our country as the leader of the free world, and a great friend to Israel.
We MUST turn badk to God as a nation. He is our only hope.

Why Atheists Attack Christianity
“The fool has said in his heart, “There is no God.” They are corrupt, they have committed abominable deeds; there is no one who does good” (Psalm 14:1).
Hardly a day goes by that we do not read about an atheist person or group, demanding that something that offends them be removed. Recently, in Midlothian, Texas, an atheist group called Freedom From Religion Foundation (FFRF), demanded the removal of plaques in two elementary schools. [1]
Here are the words engraved on the plaque:

Here is a quote from FFRF:
“Our organization is about keeping religion out of the government. Freedom From Religion Foundation attorney Sam Grover told NBC Dallas Fort Worth. “Because these plaques are on the school building, they’re not individual speech. They’re government speech, and that is restricted.”
The schools were ordered to remove the plaques. Instead, they placed duct tape over them. The tape was removed by an upset parent. This event happening in Texas is now commonplace.
Has anyone ever said to you that “Separation of Church and State” is in our Constitution?
IT IS NOT.
The phrase was originally coined from a letter written by Thomas Jefferson, to a group of Danbury, CT, pastors. The pastors had written to the president about their concern that the government might enforce a State religion, whereby infringing upon their right to freedom of worship (First Amendment). Jefferson penned a letter to them, assuring them that no such thing would happen. It is important to see the entire letter from Jefferson:
Gentlemen, the affectionate sentiment of esteem and approbation which you are so good as to express towards me, on behalf of the Danbury Baptist Association, give me the highest satisfaction. My duties dictate a faithful and zealous pursuit of the interests of my constituents, and in proportion as they are persuaded of my fidelity to those duties, the discharge of them becomes more and more pleasing.
Believing with you that religion is a matter which lies solely between man and his God, that he owes account to none other for his faith or his worship, that the legislative powers of government reach actions only, and not opinions, I contemplate with sovereign reverence that act of the whole American people which declared that their legislature would “make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof,” thus building a wall of separation between Church and State.
Adhering to this expression of the supreme will of the nation in behalf of the rights of conscience, I shall see with sincere satisfaction the progress of those sentiments which tend to restore to man all his natural rights, convinced he has no natural right in opposition to his social duties. This is a glaring example of our godless leaders in our present government, using the words of Jefferson (from a personal letter) to twist and pervert the intent of his heart when writing to the pastors. He wrote to them to assure them that all was well, and they need not worry that the government would infringe upon their right to worship.
If you ask people if “Separation of Church and State” is in our Constitution, most will say, yes. When something is repeated enough, people believe it. Even some Christians believe this, because it has been said over and over. We must remember who is the author of confusion and the father of lies.
“You are of your father the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth because there is no truth in him.” Whenever he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own nature, for he is a liar and the father of lies.” (John 8:44)
“Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might. Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places” (Ephesians 6:10-12).
So, why do atheists who scoff at our belief in God, become so enraged when He is mentioned in public — or worse, when plaques or crosses are placed on public property? If they do not believe in His existence, then why do they protest so violently? Why do these same people ignore Islam, Buddhism and Hinduism? They defend Muslims, or at least remain silent in the face of jihad; a silence which speaks so loudly!
Jesus Is the Reason
Our Lord Jesus is God. The demons know it, and they tremble at His Name.
“When He came to the other side into the country of the Gadarenes, two men who were demon-possessed met Him as they were coming out of the tombs. They were so extremely violent that no one could pass by that way. And they cried out, saying, “What business do we have with each other, Son of God? Have You come here to torment us before the time?” (Matthew 8:28-29).
The ones who deny the existence of God, are used by the evil one to attempt to shut down anything associated with our Lord Jesus. One would think that if these people believe that we (Christians) are deluded, then why not just laugh at us and move on? It is because they know there is power in the Name of Jesus!
Another reason that atheists push to have any trace of the Lord removed from public, is that Jesus speaks about sin in the Word. Those who love living in their sin, HATE the words of Jesus regarding repentance. They are secular humanists, and believe that the world revolves around them. How dare anyone tell them that they are sinners!
What exactly is Secular Humanism and what do they believe?
Theologically, Secular Humanists are atheists. Humanist Paul Kurtz, publisher of Prometheus Books and editor of Free Inquiry magazine, says that “Humanism cannot in any fair sense of the word apply to one who still believes in God as the source and creator of the universe.” Corliss Lamont agrees, saying that “Humanism contends that instead of the gods creating the cosmos, the cosmos, in the individualized form of human beings giving rein to their imagination, created the gods.”
Secular Humanism, then, can be defined as a religious worldview based on atheism, naturalism, evolution, and ethical relativism. But this definition is merely the tip of the iceberg. A more complete discussion of the Secular Humanist worldview can be found in David Noebel’s Understanding the Times, which discusses (in detail) humanism’s approach to each of ten disciplines: theology, philosophy, ethics, biology, psychology, sociology, law, politics, economics and history. “Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience. Therefore do not become partners with them; for at one time you were darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light (for the fruit of light is found in all that is good and right and true), and try to discern what is pleasing to the Lord. Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them. For it is shameful even to speak of the things that they do in secret. But when anything is exposed by the light, it becomes visible” (Ephesians 5:6-13).
Brothers and sisters in Christ, please understand that we are NOT fighting against flesh and blood. The demons go wherever Satan tells them to. Souls who have rejected God are vulnerable to becoming tools of the devil. And so are false Christians who hide behind the Name of Jesus Christ to do their dirty work.
Put on the full armor of God and stand on His Word!
