Chloe Cole, who was prescribed puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, and then had her breasts removed when she was 15, says she will sue the medical group and hospital that facilitated the gender transition as a minor she now deeply regrets.
“The adults who were supposed to take care of and guide me as a child failed to do so and they will take responsibility for it,” Cole told The Epoch Times on Nov. 11.
Cole, now 18 years old, and her legal team—including Dhillon Law Group and LiMandri & Jonna LLP in conjunction with the Center for American Liberty—sent a letter of intent on Nov. 9 to sue the Permanente Medical Group, Kaiser Foundation Health Plan, Kaiser Foundation Hospitals, and several doctors who “performed, supervised, and/or advised transgenderhormone therapy and surgical intervention for Chloe Cole when she was between 13-17 years old.”
Kaiser Permanente stands accused of gross negligence causing “permanent irreversible mutilation and damage to her body,” according to the letter. The organization did not respond to multiple requests for comment on Nov. 11.
The letter alleges medical professionals informed Cole’s parents she was “at a high risk for suicide, unless she socially and medically transitioned to appear more like a male.” Her parents were allegedly asked, “Would you rather have a dead daughter or a live son?”
Cole is seeking “punitive damages based on the evidence of malice, oppression and fraud,” according to the letter.
“The medical system shouldn’t dictate the future of young children’s lives. Through this legal action, the ‘professionals’ involved will be held accountable for their despicable plot to mutilate children and financially benefit from it,” said Harmeet Dhillon, CEO of the Center for American Liberty. “We will break the cycle of them breaking our children before it’s too late.”
Cole recently testified against “gender-affirming health care” legislation that made California a transgender sanctuary state. California Gov. Gavin Newsom signed Senate Bill 107 authored by Sen. Scott Wiener (D-San Francisco) into law last month.
The legislation has been widely protested by parental rights groups opposed to minors receiving puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, and gender transition surgeries.
“My teenage life has been the culmination of excruciating pain, regret, and most importantly injustice,” Cole stated Nov. 10 in a media release. “What is worse is that I am not alone in my pain. I will see to the fact that the blood and tears of detransitioners like myself will not lay waste. It is impossible for me to recoup what I have lost, but I will insure no children will be harmed at the hands of these liars and mutilators.”
The Center for American Liberty also alleged Kaiser did not inform Cole’s parents of psychiatric treatment options or any approach that would attempt to treat her underlying psychological conditions “to bring about a mental state congruent with Chloe’s biological sex.”
Cole alleges she was told by medical professionals the distress she was experiencing due to gender dysphoria would resolve as she transitioned, but after undergoing several phases of transition over multiple years, her mental condition only deteriorated.
“Indeed, her mental health and suicidality issues worsened significantly after she had the double mastectomy,” the letter states. “Eventually, Chloe realized that the answer to her struggle was not surgery and hormones, as she had been advised, but a shift in her mental perspective. She realized that the only way she would be happy is if she mentally accepted her biological sex and chose to live a life that aligned with her natural sex.”
Kaiser Permanente has 90 days to settle the case or respond to the letter of intent to sue before a lawsuit will be filed. Source

Since I was born-again in 1983, I have been a Christian activist. It certainly wasn’t something I aspired to be. But as time passed, it became evident that God had planned to use me in this way.
It began with writing letters to the editor on moral issues. I had a wonderful mentor, an older brother in Christ whom I had met at church. He had been writing letters to the editor for years and took me under his wing. He is now with our Lord Jesus.
I wrote a lot about the horrors of abortion. I wrote about God being taken out of schools. One day, my mentor showed me his home town newspaper and on the front page was a story about Wicca. It spoke of Wicca in a way that seemed to glorify it. I called the editor of that paper and told him that I was disappointed that a small town paper would print such a thing. I told him that I was a Christian, and asked if he would ever publish a similar story about being Christian.
The editor said that if I wished to write a rebuttal to the piece on Wicca, that he would publish it on the Op/Ed section of the paper – not as a letter to the editor, but as a stand-alone article along with my picture. I agreed and he sent out his photographer.
I prayed for the Lord to help me write this article. I wrote that Wicca promotes worship of the earth.I said that born-again Christians worship the Creator of the earth and that we have a relationship with Him.
I wrote that worshiping the earth was like going into an art museum and seeing a magnificent painting, only to praise the piece itself, never seeking out the artist who painted it. Not only do Christians know who created the earth, but we love and worship Him, and know Him because of His Word in the Bible which He left for us. Needless to say, that article caused a firestorm of rebuttals, condemning Christianity and exalting Wicca.
SASSY MAGAZINE
This happened in 1986
One night at choir practice, my writing mentor dropped a magazine in my lap. He said, “You’ll know what to do.” When I got home, I read through the magazine and was horrified. The name of the magazine was Sassy. I read that this magazine was marketed to girls ages 12-15. Being a Christian woman, I cannot write here what I read in Sassy. I will say that it was pornographic and so very disgusting.
I received James Dobson’s Focus on the Family magazine, and was surprised to read that there were Christian women in various parts of the country, actively exposing Sassy as pornography for our young girls. I realized that in my part of the country, no one was doing this—not yet!
The Mass Mail Out
I prayed that God would show me what to do. First I found out where Sassy was being sold. Then I typed up a cover letter to each of these stores, and made copies of the most offensive pornographic material to send with the letter. The letter read:
Dear Marketing Manager, I want you to be aware of a magazine that is being sold in your stores. I am quite certain that you are unaware of the pornographic content in this magazine, which is marketed to girls ages 12-15. If you had known, surely you would have rejected Sassy magazine.
I did a mass mailing out to the stores. After about a week, I received a phone call from Sassy magazine in New York! I was very surprised that they had my name and my number. The woman told me that they had lost distribution in most of the larger retailers in our area. She said that Sassy was told that I had done this.
She asked me if I was affiliated with Jerry Falwell. I told her I was not, but that I was affiliated with God.
There was a long silence on her end.
Then she went on to say that they were getting push back in many parts of the country. I asked her why that should surprise her. She had no answer.
The woman said that Sassy originated in Australia, and did not receive such criticism in that country. I told her that she was in America, not Australia, and that her magazine was smut. Once again she asked me with whom I was affiliated. I told her that one person following God is like an army.
Again she had no response.
About a week later, she called once again. This time she told me that she and the owners of Sassy realized that the format of their magazine had to change. She said that they had compiled the first new edition and wondered if I would look through it and give them my feedback. I told her that would be fine. In a few days it came in the mail. (I have it to this day)
I read all the way through it. It was vastly different – more like Seventeen magazine. I didn’t love that magazine either, but it was in no way pornographic.I received another call from the lady from Sassy, asking if I received the new and improved Sassy, and what did I think of it. I told her that it was acceptable to me; still not wholesome, but certainly not smut.
The Question I did not expect
Then she asked me a question that I did not see coming. She had the audacity to ask if I could write to the stores from where I had Sassy removed, and ask them to please reinstate it.
I’m sure that she did not expect my response to her as well. I told her that she and her staff had gotten themselves into this mess, and they would have to figure out how to market Sassy again without my help.
SASSY is gone
Sassy folded in 1994. Now if that isn’t a testimony to how one person can change things, I don’t know what is!

A writer, Geri Ungurean, has pulled together a powerful article with accompanying videos on the transgender agenda in our government schools. The Human Rights Campaign, reputedly the strongest LGBTQ organization in the U.S., is working aggressively to normalize homosexuality and transgenderism not only in our society in general and in the schools but also in our churches. The time has arrived for us to be clear about where we stand on these issues.
My prayer is that we could unitedly stand on the Word of God. Without question, we affirm God’s love and our love for all people, regardless of their lifestyle and lifestyle choices, but we cannot affirm or condone lifestyles that militate against God’s revealed Word and will. To say that God affirms transgenderism or homosexuality is blasphemous.
As sad as this entire movement is, it is so important that we be informed about these things and do what we are able to do to hold up the wisdom of God’s ways.

We are children of Almighty God. We are aware from God’s Word that in these last days evil will get much worse. But as long as we are still on this earth, shouldn’t we be defending that which is good and right and godly? Rhetorical question.
Think about the martyrs who have been asked to deny Jesus Christ, and have refused to do so. They would rather die than deny their Lord. The people who would slaughter us may indeed be in our country right now. We must be ready to die for Christ. We must be ready to die for the children!
Standing up for righteousness will one day get us either jailed or even killed.
We share in His sufferings. Our reward awaits us in heaven.
California parent Jessica Konen is suing her local school district for secretly indoctrinating her 6th grade daughter into the cult of transgenderism, convincing her to change her gender identity, all while urging her not to discuss the situation with her mother because she could not be “trusted.”
The behavior of these woke teachers matters not only because parents – as opposed to the government – are supposed to be in charge of raising their own children, but also because transgenderism is a treacherous ideology that threatens the very underpinnings of both our society and Western civilization as a whole.
Plenty of gays recognize it is wrong to push transgender ideology onto children
It is not about homosexuality or bisexuality, which Americans have become increasingly tolerant of in recent years. Many Americans are even supportive of transgender people when they are consenting adults, but they do not support groomers’ efforts to force impressionable children to renounce their birth sex and pretend to be something they are not. The rise of groups such as Gays Against Groomers, whose members are aghast at reports of little kids being forced to attend drag queen performances, shows that plenty of gays recognize it is wrong to push transgender ideology onto children.
It is about totalitarian thought control. The advocates of transgenderism, backed by the Biden-Harris regime, would force Americans to recognize an individual’s professed gender identity even if it doesn’t match the person’s birth sex. Forcing people to say things they know aren’t true is the essence of totalitarianism.
As I have written before, just about no one cared about the previously miniscule number of consenting adults having sex-reassignment surgery or hormone therapy until the Left started to demand that people think of these things as normal and forced these beliefs on children.
The Left doesn’t care about how many victims it creates, even as it breaks the fragile bodies of young people who lack the maturity to make informed decisions – decisions that will come back to haunt them in their later years.
Advocated by these radicals, puberty blockers, which can harm young people, are being prescribed for children who are now, because of incessant propaganda, reporting discomfort with their sex in record numbers. Long-term use of these drugs adversely affects brain development, bone density, and fertility but more and more medical doctors are violating the Hippocratic Oath by supporting their use on gender-confused young people.

Which brings us to the case of Jessica Konen, whose young daughter was pressured to join the destructive cult.
Konen is suing with the assistance of the Center For American Liberty, a nonprofit that, according to its website, is “fighting against growing anti-free speech and anti-civil liberties trends.” The legal complaint (pdf) in the case was filed June 14 in the Monterey County office of the Superior Court of California.
San Francisco-based attorney Harmeet K. Dhillon is spearheading the legal effort. Dhillon is CEO of the Center For American Liberty.
Parents have “the right to know what is going on in their child’s school,” Dhillon told Fox News’ “The Ingraham Angle,” as she explained how teachers pushed the young girl to join an “Equality Club” aimed at convincing students to embrace new gender identities.
“They invited kids, including Jessica’s daughter, to be in this club, and they told these kids, do not tell your parents, and specifically Jessica’s mom, do not tell them, they cannot be trusted,” she said.
“They gave them reading materials about transgenderism. They secretly changed the pronouns, but when in front of the parents, referred to their children by their birth pronouns. Behind the parents’ back, in the school, [they] used their new identity. All this was done secretly.”
Teachers were persistent as they encouraged the child to change her name to a masculine name and present as male in order to express the new identity
According to the legal complaint, the Spreckels Union School District near San Jose adopted a “parental secrecy policy” that “authorizes minor children to make mature, consequential, and potentially life-altering decisions—such as what gender to identify as; how to express their gender identity, including, but not limited to, females binding their breasts so they look more like males; what name to be called; what pronouns to use; and what privacy facilities to use—with no notification to or input from parents.”
Teachers at Buena Vista Middle School in the school district took Konen’s daughter, A.G., 11 at the time, and recruited her into an “Equality Club” in which she was advised that she may be transgender and bisexual, two concepts that were not familiar to her. At one point teachers changed the name of the club to UBU, or “You Be You,” to avoid detection by parents. A.G. attended Buena Vista from fall 2018 to spring 2021 for the 6th through 8th grades.
A.G. attended a club meeting at the suggestion of a friend after 6th grade instruction began. The girl was not interested in the discussion and decided not to attend future club meetings. But two weeks later a teacher asked her to return to the club, telling her she “fit in perfectly.” A.G. began attending the meetings again. Teachers told her at first that she was bisexual even though she did not understand the concept of bisexuality. Not long after, teachers told the girl she was transgender even though she did not grasp the concept, the legal complaint stated.
Teachers were persistent as they encouraged the child to change her name to a masculine name and present as male in order to express the new identity. Despite the emotional trauma they inflicted on the young girl, the teachers told her not to let her mother know about this because her mother supposedly could not be “trusted.”
They also forced A.G. to read articles about how to conceal her newly discovered transgender status from her mother. The teachers created a “Gender Support Plan” that directed faculty to call the daughter by a new name, male pronouns, and to allow her to use the unisex teachers’ restroom.

The California Department of Education officially encourages young children to embrace transgender identities. Even though the U.S. Supreme Court had held that parents have the right to direct the upbringing and education of their children, it is the department’s position that schools ought to keep secrets from parents; its recommended reading list promotes books for kindergartners about students undergoing gender identity transition.
During the brainwashing process, A.G. took on a new gender identity different from her female sex at birth, as well as a boy’s name and masculine pronouns, according to the legal complaint.
A.G.’s original identity went down the memory hole as teachers began referring to her by her new name and pronouns. Her name was changed in educational records and she was allowed to use the teachers’ unisex bathroom, all without informing her mother.
The school deliberately deceived Konen about her child’s assumed gender identity by using the girl’s birth name and feminine pronouns when the mother was present. When Konen was not present, the teachers resumed calling the girl by a boy’s name and using masculine pronouns.
Teachers told A.G. not to tell “her mother about her new gender identity, and by otherwise concealing facts regarding A.G.’s new gender identity from Ms. Konen.”
The teachers’ actions “also violated Ms. Konen’s and A.G.’s rights under federal and state law
Konen had said she “supports her daughter, regardless of the decisions she makes. Ms. Konen simply wants to be a part of her daughter’s life and exercise her rights as a parent to direct the upbringing of her child.”
But the teachers deprived Konen of her parental rights during a crucial phase of her daughter’s development by “choosing for themselves how to direct A.G.’s upbringing regarding the major life decision of A.G.’s gender identity, and concealing critical facts from Ms. Konen, her parent.”
The teachers’ actions “also violated Ms. Konen’s and A.G.’s rights under federal and state law and inflicted serious emotional and mental harm upon them.”
This case is not an outlier.
As California and federal officials continue to advocate for transgenderism, more such lawsuits are coming.
