Pope Francis Warns ‘Creation Is Groaning!’ in New Eco-Message
ROME — Pope Francis announced a “jubilee for the earth” Tuesday to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Earth Day, calling on all to combat the “climate emergency.”
In his message for the World Day of Prayer for the Care of Creation, the pontiff has called for repentance, insisting we have “broken the bonds of our relationship with the Creator, with our fellow human beings, and with the rest of creation.”
“Our constant demand for growth and an endless cycle of production and consumption are exhausting the natural world,” the pope laments. “Forests are leached, topsoil erodes, fields fail, deserts advance, seas acidify and storms intensify.”
“Creation is groaning!” he concludes.
The solution to these problems is learning to “listen to the land,” he states, and to occupy our correct place in the “web of life.”
“We also need once more to listen to the land itself,” Francis said. “Today we hear the voice of creation admonishing us to return to our rightful place in the natural created order – to remember that we are part of this interconnected web of life, not its masters.”
“The disintegration of biodiversity, spiralling climate disasters, and unjust impact of the current pandemic on the poor and vulnerable: all these are a wakeup call in the face of our rampant greed and consumption,” he says.
The pope urges all to adopt a simpler, more austere lifestyle.
“We must examine our habits of energy usage, consumption, transportation, and diet,” he states. “We must eliminate the superfluous and destructive aspects of our economies, and nurture life-giving ways to trade, produce, and transport goods.”
More controversially, Francis calls for “restorative justice” to compensate for the “enormous ecological debt” incurred in the “historic exploitation of the global South.”
“We should not forget the historic exploitation of the global South that has created an enormous ecological debt, due mainly to resource plundering and excessive use of common environmental space for waste disposal,” he writes. “It is a time for restorative justice. In this context, I repeat my call for the cancellation of the debt of the most vulnerable countries, in recognition of the severe impacts of the medical, social and economic crises they face as a result of Covid-19.”
In his message, the pope reiterates his belief that “we are in the midst of a climate emergency” and therefore “climate restoration is of utmost importance.”
“We are running out of time, as our children and young people have reminded us,” he declares. “We need to do everything in our capacity to limit global average temperature rise under the threshold of 1.5°C enshrined in the Paris Climate Agreement, for going beyond that will prove catastrophic.”
With the commemoration of the World Day of Prayer for the Care of Creation, the pope also launched an extended “Season of Creation,” which will continue until the feast of Saint Francis of Assisi on the fourth of October.
“During this period, Christians worldwide renew their faith in the God of creation and join in prayer and work for the care of our common home,” he states. source
Our Common Home?
First of all, to born again believers, this is certainly NOT our home! We yearn to be with our Lord Jesus Christ in our eternal home – heaven.
Do you see how this man takes a part of Scripture and twists it to mean something completely different? We know who else twists Scripture, don’t we?
Here is what the Bible says about All Creation Groans:
What does it mean that all creation groans (Romans 8:22)?
Answer: If you’ve ever longed to be released from your earthly body to be free from sin and the physical suffering associated with it, then you know something of what Paul meant when he said, “All creation groans” in Romans 8:22.
To better understand the meaning of all creation groans, it helps to consider the context. In Romans 8, the apostle Paul is teaching believers that their new life in Jesus Christ is solidly founded on God’s promises and plans for His children. The first promise Paul touches on is that of future glory: “I consider our present sufferings insignificant compared to the glory that will soon be revealed to us”We may suffer now through our journey here on earth, but Paul reminds us that this world is not our home (1 Peter 2:11; Hebrews 11:13). Awaiting us is a glorious future kingdom where death is defeated, and tears of sorrow, pain, and grief will all be wiped away (Revelation 21:4). When we firmly lay hold of this promise from God, we can begin to view our current troubles as light and momentary compared to the far greater eternal weight of glory (2 Corinthians 4:17). One would think that in this time in history with the Covid 19 pandemic and the non-stop rioting, burning, looting and murder on our streets, that Francis might speak on the “sin” of mankind and how people need to get right with God.
Oh wait! He is NOT a Christian and hasn’t the faintest idea of what it means to repent of our sins and be born again!
But is Francis the False Prophet spoken of in God’s Word?
We can only wonder – God knows for sure.
But from where I stand, this man seems to be possessed with devils; and that may be a clear sign of who he truly is.
I felt a nudging from the Holy Spirit that I should bring out an article from last year. The piece was about Pope Francis and his association with “United Religions Initiative (URI)” and its founder William E. Swing, a former bishop of the Episcopal church in San Francisco.
The discerning believer will immediately sense the presence of evil, and will clearly see how this is all tied into the coming man of sin – Antichrist.
I call these “Antichrist’s Propaganda videos”:
The Tower of Babel
“And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech.
And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar; and they dwelt there.
And they said one to another, Go to, let us make brick, and burn them thoroughly. And they had brick for stone, and slime had they for morter.
And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth.
And the Lord came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded.
And the Lord said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.
Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech.
So the Lord scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city.
Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the Lord did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the Lord scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth.” (Genesis 11:1-9). KJV
I cite the Scriptures regarding the Tower of Babel because it is so important for the children of God to understand that He is omniscient. Our God knows everything that will happen – He sees the beginning to the end, and he interferes with the plans which man has made. He does this throughout the Bible because He is in control, and His prophetic Word will be fulfilled to the letter.
A New “Type” of Tower of Babel
There is an organization that we are hearing more and more about, called the United Religions Initiative. Pope Francis has close ties to many members and especially to its founder, William E. Swing, a former bishop of the Episcopal Church in San Francisco. When Pope Francis was the Archbishop of Buenos Aires, he invited Mr. Swing to celebrate the United Religions Initiative’s 10th anniversary in Latin America at his Cathedral.
“The URI is a United Nations project. It was heralded in June 1995 by Bishop Swing at the occult, earth-worshipping interfaith service he was invited to conduct for the UN, honoring the 50th anniversary of the signing of the UN Charter. Attending the service in San Francisco’s Episcopal Grace Cathedral were political luminaries and representatives of all religions, including Britain’s Princess Margaret, Anglican Archbishop Desmond Tutu of South Africa, Polish President Lech Walesa, UN Secretary-General Boutros Boutros-Ghali, Archbishop Renato Martino (Vatican nuncio to the UN), and Archbishop John Quinn of San Francisco. (emphasis added)
The URI is meant to be for religions what the UN is for nations. Its purpose is to be the world religious authority, “a UN for religion” in order to foster peace. Delegates to its charter-writing summit in 1997 considered they had given birth to a “movement as well as a spiritual institution”. “Tell the people that there is a United Religions,” said Swing. It will shine “the light of the world’s spiritual traditions [paganism and occultism included] into a world desperately in need of light.” It aims to solve issues of environment, population, poverty and disease whilst building religious unity.”– source (emphasis added)
Taken from an “Interfaith” website about Pope Francis:
“Pope Francis’s openness to other faiths is part of a trend at the Vatican. A post today on the Wild Hunt noted that on a recent trip to Brazil, Pope Francis met with representatives of Candomble. The post asked:
“If the Pope embraces reconciliation with Candomble, with read, human, interface between leaders, why shouldn’t Catholics also embrace practitioners of Voodoo? Or indigenous African Religions? Or modern Paganism, for that matter? Indeed, the Pope’s new attitude is needed more now than ever before. We live one a world where human beings, fueled by religious beliefs, are persecuting and killing on another in increasingly disturbing incidents. What better time for a Pope to emphatically embrace an interfaith mission? A mission that had been blunted during the Papacy of Benedict, but now, hopefully, but now, hopefully, will bear new fruit.– source
Brethren, is there any doubt that we are looking at the last Pope – very possibly the False Prophet, spoken of in God’s holy Word?
Pope Francis has now aligned himself with the global warming community, and was a spokesman for that cause at the U.N. He is also in agreement that our planet is overpopulated, and that something needs to be done to rectify that.
He has brought representatives from every religion into the Vatican to pray. This man has taken ecumenism to a new level! It is so obvious that he is drawing the world into his web, and many are falling for it.
He is speaking of redistribution of wealth, and the evils of capitalism. Since when does a Pope become entangled in political issues of the world? We hardly hear anything about the Gospel of Jesus Christ from this man.
Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified. (Galatians 2:16) KJV
Scriptures about justification by faith and not by works clearly separate us from the RCC. Catholicism is a cult. We as followers of the Lord Jesus Christ should not align ourselves with that apostate church — not for any reason, as noble as it might sound.
The Words and Beliefs of Pope Francis
He came onto the world stage much in the manner of President Obama. The left wing “Save mother earth” radicals are embracing him as their own. Funny, isn’t it? Wasn’t the job description of a Pope to lead the so-called faithful upon the earth — spiritually speaking? This speaks VOLUMES about the Vatican and RCC worldwide! The institution of Roman Catholicism is a CULT! I love the Catholic people, and because of this love — I must speak truth to them.
Where is Repentance and trusting the Lord Jesus Christ for Salvation in the Pope’s dialogues with the press? Did I miss it? I think not. Is this man saved? Does he know Jesus as Lord and Savior of his own life? If we look for fruit worthy of repentance in his life, it’s just not there.
What are his beliefs and How do they compare to Scripture?
Well, let’s take a look at what Pope Francis deems important enough to give to the press: My comments indented:
“Each of us has a vision of good and of evil. We have to encourage people to move towards what they think is good… Everyone has his own idea of good and evil and must choose to follow the good and fight evil as he conceives them. That would be enough to make the world a better place.”
(Isaiah 5:20) KJV
“Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!”
“Since many of you do not belong to the Catholic Church and others are non-believers, from the bottom of my heart I give this silent blessing to each and every one of you, respecting the conscience of each one of you but knowing that each one of you is a child of God.”
(John 1:12) KJV
“But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.”
“From my point of view, God is the light that illuminates the darkness, even if it does not dissolve it, and a spark of divine light is within each of us.”
This is NOT what the Bible says. To say that there is a spark of divine light within each of us SMACKS of New Age teaching!
“A person once asked me, in a provocative manner, if I approved of homosexuality. I replied with another question: ‘Tell me: when God looks at a gay person, does he endorse the existence of this person with love, or reject and condemn this person?’ We must always consider the person.”
(Romans 1:24-27) KJV
“Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:
Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.”
“I am always wary of decisions made hastily. I am always wary of the first decision, that is, the first thing that comes to my mind if I have to make a decision. This is usually the wrong thing. I have to wait and assess, looking deep into myself, taking the necessary time.”
(Proverbs 3:5-6) KJV
“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”
“If someone is gay and he searches for the Lord and has good will, who am I to judge? We shouldn’t marginalize people for this. They must be integrated into society.”
(Proverbs 14:6) KJV
“A scorner seeketh wisdom, and findeth it not: but knowledge is easy unto him that understandeth.”
“There is a need for financial reform along ethical lines that would produce in its turn an economic reform to benefit everyone. This would nevertheless require a courageous change of attitude on the part of political leaders.”
Giving advice to political leaders and to the leaders of the financial market — this is for the Pope to do? I thought that bringing people to a saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ is what the church should be about.
“The Jesuits have a vow to obey the pope, but if the pope is a Jesuit, maybe he should have a vow to obey the superior general… I feel like I’m still a Jesuit in terms of my spirituality, what I have in my heart.”
(1 Corinthians 11:1) KJV
“Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.”
“Proselytism is solemn nonsense; it makes no sense. We need to get to know each other, listen to each other and improve our knowledge of the world around us.”
(Matthew 28:19-20) KJV
“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”
“A church without women would be like the apostolic college without Mary. The Madonna is more important than the apostles, and the church herself is feminine, the spouse of Christ and a mother.”
WHERE in the Bible does it say that the mother of Jesus is more important than the Apostles??
“The Lord has redeemed all of us, all of us, with the blood of Christ: all of us, not just Catholics. Everyone! ‘Father, the atheists?’ Even the atheists. Everyone!”
(Romans 10:9) KJV
“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved”
“Right now, we don’t have a very good relation with creation.”
Can you say ‘WICCA’?
“My authoritarian and quick manner of making decisions led me to have serious problems and to be accused of being ultraconservative. I have never been a right-winger. It was my authoritarian way of making decisions that created problems.”
Oh, Pope Francis — we would NEVER call you a right-winger!
“God is not afraid of new things. That is why he is continuously surprising us, opening our hearts and guiding us in unexpected ways,”
This came from the Pope’s mouth when asked about homosexuality. GOD is not afraid of new things?? He is Creator of the Universe and of each one of us!!! Guiding us in unexpected ways?? HIS WORD NEVER CHANGES!!
“Safeguard Creation,” he said. “Because if we destroy Creation, Creation will destroy us! Never forget this!”
New Age, New Age, New Age……….
“But when we exploit Creation we destroy the sign of God’s love for us, in destroying Creation we are saying to God: ‘I don’t like it! This is not good!’ ‘So what do you like?’ ‘I like myself!’ – Here, this is sin! Do you see?”
No, Pope Francis – I do NOT see.
“Climate change, the loss of biodiversity and deforestation are already showing theirdevastating effects in the great cataclysms we witness.”
Now he is a scientist?
“Beauty of nature and the grandeur of the cosmos” is a Christian value, noting that failure to care for the planet risks apocalyptic consequences.”
(Psalm 19:1) KJV
“The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.”
Recently, this pope declared that the Cross of Christ was God’s failure:
When I first saw these headlines, I must admit that I was taken aback:
“The Pope Says This Christmas Is A ‘Charade’ And That For Some People ‘It May Be Their Last’” – source
I wondered why he would call Christmas a ‘charade’ and declare that it may be the last Christmas for some people. But then everything came into focus, and his words merely confirmed the narrative this man has been pushing from the very start.
I firmly believe that we are looking at the False Prophet spoken of in God’s Holy Word, when we see this pope. This man has a political Marxist agenda and he speaks of little else. Where is the Gospel of Christ in his sermons and commentaries? Nary a word spoken of the fallen nature of man, and how Jesus Christ came into this world to reconcile sinful man to our Holy God.
No – he speaks of redistribution of wealth, and the evils of capitalism. He speaks of Climate Change and has become the spokesperson for that hoax at the U.N. and everywhere he travels. When he refers to earth, he calls it “Mother Earth.” Can you say NEW AGE?
Pope Francis Misunderstands Why Jesus Came to Earth
When the pope calls Christmas a “Charade” and warns that this Christmas may be the last one for some people – he is missing the entire reason for the birth and ultimate death of Jesus Christ. God cares deeply for the souls of men and women. The Lord Jesus spoke of coming wars and rumors of wars. That was certainly no surprise to Him.
The Angels Declared:
“Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men” (Luke 2:14). (Emphasis mine)
Notice that this passage of Scripture does not say “good will between men.” It says good will toward men. Ok, from whom are we receiving good will? It is from God Himself! The peace on earth, which is spoken of, comes from God having good will toward men and women – God made the way for us to be reconciled to Himself through His Son Jesus Christ!
Pope Francis has no understanding of this Scripture, nor does he understand anything about the Gospel. He is looking at this world from a carnal perspective. He sees wars raging and he shows anger because men have not made peace with one another. He misses this most important Biblical truth – there will be NO peace on this earth without having peace with God.
I need to say that again:
We should not expect peace on the earth until men and women are at peace with God. The ONLY way to have peace with God is through His Son Jesus Christ. Only then are we born again – become a new creation – and are able to see with new eyes and truly love and forgive others.
“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;
To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God.
For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him” (2 Corinthians 5:17-21).
If More Catholics Would Only Read Their Bibles
Catholicism is at its heart a works based religion. Since we know that we cannot work our way to heaven, then Catholicism is a cult. I am sorry if I anger anyone with these words. I would rather that you be angry at me, and then in a while come to the truth of the Word; than to tickle your ears with words of encouragement so that you are not challenged to read God’s Word for yourself. I must tell the truth.
Come Away From Them!
Stop worshiping the pope and Mary and the Catholic Catechism! There is only ONE to worship and He is Jesus Christ. Mary is not a co-redeemer as Catholics have been taught. Would a co-redeemer say these words?
“And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord, And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour” (Luke 1: 46-47). (Emphasis mine)
If Mary had been equal with Jesus, she certainly would not call God “My Saviour.”
Many of us are continually shocked by the utterances of Pope Francis. Because I believe that he is the False Prophet, I am less and less shocked.
I pray that many Catholics who are questioning the words and deeds of the pope, will read this article. I pray that the Holy Spirit will impart truth to them, and as the Word says – the Truth shall set them free.
I remember in 2008, when Obama was declared the President of the United States. I could hardly breathe. I sat in silence for hours; not wanting to believe it was true.
I had warned so many people about him. Having done extensive research on the man, with the little that we did know of his past, I was determined to tell as many people as I could that this man was dangerous for our country.
We knew of his ultra liberal voting record as a U.S. Senator. He was deemed left of Ted Kennedy! We knew that he had close ties with Planned Parenthood. We also knew of his association with people like Bill Ayers and his Marxist pastor, Jeremiah Wright, who spewed his hateful Black Liberation Theology to his congregation every Sunday. Those of us who have discernment knew that Barack Hussein Obama was going to be a curse on our country.
I kept turning it over in my mind — how could this happen? What was wrong with the people? And since that fateful night in November of 2008, he has turned this country into something that is foreign to us. It’s not the America we knew as we grew up. He said that he would fundamentally transform the U.S. and that is exactly what he has done.
When Pope Benedict suddenly stepped down from the papacy, I had a feeling that something was amiss at the Vatican. Actually, things are always amiss at the Vatican, but this was different. It was like things were out of control; or perhaps someone else was in control. It took less than two days for the conclave to usher in their new pope.
We found out that Pope Francis was the first Jesuit to ever be a pope — the very first! As I researched this more, I realized that the Jesuits were always considered the military arm of the Vatican. Even Catholic priests were shocked when Francis was placed in his position. I began to do more research on the Jesuits. What I was seeing was more than a bit alarming. Assassinations, political plots, helping Hitler to power in Germany; the list goes on and it reads like a terrifying novel. I had no idea that the Jesuits were like this. They sounded more like the mafia than part of the Vatican.
CONSERVATIVE DISSENT IS BREWING INSIDE THE VATICAN
I read an article today from the Washington Post (not usually my choice for news) but I found the piece to be intriguing. Here is an excerpt:
VATICAN CITY — On a sunny morning earlier this year, a camera crew entered a well-appointed apartment just outside the 9th-century gates of Vatican City. Pristinely dressed in the black robes and scarlet sash of the princes of the Roman Catholic Church, Wisconsin-born Cardinal Raymond Burke sat in his elaborately upholstered armchair and appeared to issue a warning to Pope Francis.
A staunch conservative and Vatican bureaucrat, Burke had been demoted by the pope a few months earlier, but it did not take the fight out of him. Francis had been backing a more inclusive era, giving space to progressive voices on divorced Catholics as well as gays and lesbians. In front of the camera, Burke said he would “resist” liberal changes — and seemed to caution Francis about the limits of his authority. “One must be very attentive regarding the power of the pope,” Burke told the French news crew.
Didn’t the college of Cardinals which made up the papal conclave do their research on this man before voting? If they had, they would have found that the former Archbishop of Buenos Aires, Argentina, had a past that was certainly not typical of a leader in the Catholic church.
It seems feasible that the Jesuit community may have been instrumental in placing their man on the papal throne.
Cardinal Raymond Burke went on in the Post article:
Papal power, Burke warned, “is not absolute.” He added, “The pope does not have the power to change teaching [or] doctrine.”
Burke’s words belied a growing sense of alarm among strict conservatives, exposing what is fast emerging as a culture war over Francis’s papacy and the powerful hierarchy that governs the Roman Catholic Church.
In a prior article about Pope Francis, I wrote:
“I have done much research on this pope. I found that when he was Archbishop Jorge Mario Bergoglio of Buenos Aires, he had close friends who were Wiccans and pagans. He even allowed some Unitarian Universalist acquaintances to hold services in his Cathedral in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I read that Wiccans, pagans and New Agers in general, were intrigued by the man, and many truly loved him.”
The name of that article was “Pope Francis – False Prophet.”
Pope Francis prepares for his trip to Washington, D.C. to meet with Obama and then to address a joint session of Congress. This has never happened in the history of our country. Francis then goes to NY to be the keynote speaker for the Climate Change conference at the U.N. It seems that Pope Francis fashions himself a politician now. Well, that would make sense since we never hear anything from him about the Gospel of Jesus Christ!
This Pope’s liberal leanings are not just causing dissension within the Vatican. It seems that Catholic priests worldwide are either speaking against his unconventional teachings, or his allies are using this to push the envelope and see just how far they can go with issues such as same-sex marriage and abortion.
The Post article continues:
“Yet as he upends church convention, Francis also is grappling with a conservative backlash to the liberal momentum building inside the church. In more than a dozen interviews, including with seven senior church officials, insiders say the change has left the hierarchy more polarized over the direction of the church than at any point since the great papal reformers of the 1960s.
The conservative rebellion is taking on many guises — in public comments, yes, but also in the rising popularity of conservative Catholic Web sites promoting Francis dissenters; books and promotional materials backed by conservative clerics seeking to counter the liberal trend; and leaks to the news media, aimed at Vatican reformers.
In his recent comments, Burke was also merely stating fact. Despite the vast powers of the pope, church doctrine serves as a kind of constitution. And for liberal reformers, the bruising theological pushback by conservatives is complicating efforts to translate the pope’s transformative style into tangible changes.
“At least we aren’t poisoning each other’s chalices anymore,” said the Rev. Timothy Radcliffe, a liberal British priest and Francis ally appointed to an influential Vatican post in May. Radcliffe said he welcomed open debate, even critical dissent within the church. But he professed himself as being “afraid” of “some of what we’re seeing”
Rather than stake out clear stances, the pope is more subtly, often implicitly, backing liberal church leaders who are pressing for radical change, while dramatically opening the parameters of the debate over how far reforms can go. For instance, during the opening of a meeting of senior bishops last year, Francis told those gathered, “Let no one say, ‘This you cannot say.’ ”
In my article, “Pope Francis – False Prophet,” I made the case that this man could very well be the one spoken of in the Word of God as the False Prophet.
Brethren, I feel strongly that everything happening with this Pope is Satanically influenced.
“And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon. And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed” (Revelation 13:11-12).
The Word says that he had two horns like a lamb. This brings to mind gentleness. Have you noticed that Pope Francis has a gentle demeanor? He looks like someone that you would invite into your home. But the Word also says he speaks as a dragon. This means that he speaks as a serpent – he lies and deceives and confuses.
I believe that these new events just confirm what many are thinking. Some are even asking if this man could be the Antichrist. We are seeing God’s prophetic Word playing out before our eyes.
Share this with unbelieving friends and families. Let them see for themselves that God’s Word is in the news every day! Then share the Gospel with them. Show them that they can know that they will be in heaven when they die. Time is so short.
