Obviously we need to keep Iran’s outcome in our prayers. Mostly needed are prayers to release them from the Islamic religious bondge & the devil’s grip on that area so the Gospel of Christ will be permitted to flourish & bring the # God has predetermined for salvation.
Hard to say what Trump will actually do. We have a history of avoiding this kind of “intertference” as in one example, our refusal to rescue Hungary from Russia’s iron grip back in the late ’50’s when they revolted from commie dictatorship in a bloody insurrection. I believe Poland also did the same under Walensa.
Prayer is always our best option…God, we can depend upon. I remember praying for Russia’s deliverence for years as a kid (church, parental influence & many others were also praying & we had real prayer warriors then) from communism & eventually God did His mighty work & the door did open (glasnost) for awhile which led to the 1980’s which began democraticization of the Soviet Union, Poland, E/Germany & Hungary in varying degrees of the Soviet bloc b4 doors began closing again.
We always must be persistent & patient in our prayers. Iran is in a particularly spirituarly oppressed part of the world. Daniel chpter 10 speaks of Daniel’s prayer & fasting for 21 days & although God heard Daniel’s prayer the 1st day “The prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me (God’s angelic messenger) 21 days but Michael, one of the chief princes came to help me, for I was left there with the kings of Persia” V-12.
If our prayers are according to God’s will then He will answer in the affirmitive & His desire to save souls makes it a no-brainer for Him but we need to be persistant & consistant in lifting up these needs.

Amen, indeed! I have also prayed that God would protect those who are his in Iran throughout any further trouble — basically Psalm 91 for them, so that whatever happens, they are kept safe from all harm, from any quarter, because when modern weapons get thrown about, anyone can be hurt badly and so anyone supposedly (or even actually, with all the best intentions) helping Iran free itself of the evil Islamic regime by chucking bombs and missiles all over the shop — even supposedly precision weapons — would hit plenty of innocent people too. And I can’t help thinking that, because Iran isn’t Israel, the world wouldn’t give two hoots where any bombs landed.
That aside, however, as well as praying for Iran to freed of Islamic oppression, it is vital to pray for the safety of Christians there throughout the awful violence that is probably about to descend on Iran — on top of the awful violence they are already going through. They desperately need prayer, and God will look after them 🙂
And also pray that many of the people in the streets of Iran would hear the gospel and turn to Yeshua for Salvation. May HE appear to them in dreams!!
